Binged the Fallout show, and I think it'd be funny if in season 2, instead of choosing one of the official FNV endings to canonize, they make it a timeline where Benny actually succeeded in taking control of New Vegas.
The afab but-not-cis experience is deeply relating to something a woman says (ex: America Ferrera’s monologue in the Barbie movie) but not being able to voice it because then people will immediately start invalidating your gender identity and saying that you can’t relate to it because you’re not a cis woman, but you can. It’s not our fault that we were born into a body and a designated gender role that we didn’t ask for, and even though we’ve abandoned it we’re still pressured to act and perform said gender role.
this is probably where wtv unresolved/remaining feelings blitz had for fizz end I doubt he'd still have a crush on him now (especially with a certain royal bird he knows ...)
I think it's really easy to develop resentment towards trans women for having a visibility within our culture that trans men don't have. but that should fall apart the moment you remember trans women don't have any control over that visibility and it's like 98% vitriol being spouted by transphobes anyway.
I know Lighthouse Raiders has said repeatedly that Saitama would qualify as an A tier hero and he wouldn't stand a chance against Alex but something that I think they're disregarding is that Saitama's strength is also yes.
They're both parody characters whose premise is that they're the most incomprehensibly powerful beings of their respective universe.
Saitama is as strong, fast, and resilient as the plot needs him to be — and the plot always needs him to be the strongest in the scene (as long as his defeat wouldn't be funnier than his victory). His power is limitless in that regard, just like Alex's.
One could make the argument that Alex could just kill him with a thought but, like, a) that's out of character, Alex purposefully handicaps themself in fights to make them more fun, I don't think they'd want to do something as uninteresting as that, and b) do we know for sure that Saitama, by virtue of being Saitama, would not be invulnerable to that?
Like, the question of who would win in this fight isn't a power-scaling debate (unlike how Goku fans like to pretend it is. Goku would lose to both Saitama and Alex by the way), it's more of a... which genre takes dominance, I guess? The superhero parody or the villain sitcom?
I genuinely don't think anyone can answer who would win for sure.
This probably dissolves into chaos before the teams are decided, but if we have a little truce. If the GS LIs played 2v2 Twister, elimination style, what team would win? Runner up? 9 LI, maybe use one twice, a supporting character, or one as the impartial spinner/referee (or Morgan here, she deserves to see this). Does it hit chaos regardless, no one gets rewards? Any situations/comments that are must shares? A fun+silly ask you're free to skip if it's to weird, mundane or nonsensical.
Chaos. Very quickly.
Ari is incredibly uncomfortable and doesn't want to play. Magnus deliberately causes problems and ends up with his hair tangled in someone's shirt buttons. Caissa wants nothing to do with this madness...
Quill just leaves.
Caleb somehow starts a wrestling match with Jack...

You know I used to think "tumblr's absolute refusal to actually engage with the Trolley Problem in favor of insisting that there must be a third, morally pure option that doesn't require them to make a hard decision and anyone who asks them to make a binary choice is just a short-sighted idiot is really fucking annoying, but I guess it's not actually doing any harm".
Anyway that was before we asked tumblr at large to decide between "guy aiding a genocide but making progress elsewhere" and "guy who would actively and enthusiastically participate in a genocide and would also make everything else much, much worse for everyone elsewhere" and the response was that there must be a third, morally pure option that doesn't require them to make a hard decision and that anyone who asks them to make a binary choice is a short-sighted idiot.
