i think i saw some people saying that a vampire has to willingly give their spawn blood for them to become a full vampire. thats at least what ive seen when i saw people asking why unascended astarion couldnt just bite cazador before killing him to become a full vampire. idk much about dnd vamp lore to know if that true or not but thats what ive seen people say!
I've also seen lore that says if the vampire spawn's sire dies, the spawn becomes a fully-fledged vampire too? but i mean d&d lore is constantly changing so 😅

It’s true that’s it’s hard for them to make a decision on anything and it slowly brings out they’re insecurities. (Kinda like scrambling around to see what is right or not) like a humming bird figuring out what house has the best feed, going back and forth etc.
When they overthink it’s sometimes about the bad and the good in different situations and scenarios and also put themselves in other peoples situations, (like a 3rd party view) so they see how the other person should’ve dealt lt with it that scenarios.
Its not that they cant make a decision, they just want to see more options, or classic scales “weigh out the options” to see what’s best fit. Because like queen libra herself Cardi B said “I can get them both, I don’t wanna choose” and it’s true they would rather have both than to choose or have someone else pick for them. classic.
They see both sides so don’t be offended if you see them talking to your “foes” or trying to get all sides of the story. It’s them trying to “find justice” in in whatever situation. (unless they have heavy water placements then they have some kind of loyalty towards you and wouldn’t do this for no reason)
Libra betters themselves and everyone around them, it’s they’re version of love language even when people don’t listen they’re still doing better than you.

Love all things beauty and beautiful objects and people and don’t be surprised if they do anything hands on or creative in their jobs or daily life. Fashion also is a creative outlook too, I never seen a libra that dresses bad even if it’s laundry day best believe they have the cutest lounge/lazy clothes or anything that matches them aesthetically.
Libra usually are attracted to younger or much older people, but with a youth like appearance or energy and maybe smooth sculpted bodies like a Greek statue, also a weakness for European or foreign men in general.

Homebrew Mechanic: Battles of Attrition
I think we can all agree that there’s something a little wonky with how d&d’s combat system changes between the early and mid/late game. Heroes go from being rightfully cautious about danger to being outright banal about it, confident that their accumulated power will be enough to dispatch all but the most outstanding foes.  The traditional solution is to put them up against stronger enemies but in my experience these mismatched encounters are a failing proposition: combat just gets more swingy and there’s only so many high level threats I can throw at them in a short period of time before it begins to strain credulity.   
While a lot of folks (Especially the OSR crowd) have taken the stance that 5e is broken because of how much it empowers players, I think the real fault lays with the lack of systems that exist to provide challenge outside of anything related to the damage based tug-of-war that is combat.  I think a lot of those systems were part of the non existent “exploration” pillar of the game before Hasbro realized they could make easy money selling the game in its unfinished state and gutted it along with the development team. 
Thankfully, I and other homebrewers are around to do what the megacorporations cant, namely have some original thoughts and try and figure out a way to add challenge back to the game without resenting those playing it for having fun. 
TLDR:  Trying to make our games challenging by upping damage numbers in combat is a losing proposition, in no small part because that part of the game is DESIGNED around the heroes winning. Instead, we up the overall difficulty by making them temporarily weaker with systems like sickness, stress, exhaustion, & item degradation. All of which I have details and guidelines on below the cut. 
First and foremost let me state some of my goals for these “attrition systems”, so we can all be on the same page. Whenever I make homebrew rules I try for something that’s going to require little to no paperwork on behalf of the players and can be seamlessly implemented into my DMing style. It’s not about realism, it’s not about punishing players, this is a way for me to add mechanical depth without bogging down the machine entirely. 
Attrition should be largely non-permanent.  The 5e audience invests a lot in their characters both emotionally and mechanically, so it won’t do to pile on debilitating debuff after debuff to the point of making a character useless. 
There should be an inverse relationship between the severity of the affliction and how long it lasts. Think in term of encounters, days, or weeks, (with the understanding that an attrition that goes on for long enough becomes a questhook in itself) 
The exception to this rule is if someone hits 0 hitpoints. I’m outspoken in my stance that characters should only die when it’s alternatively appropriate, but the dm is at liberty to inflict thematically devastating setbacks in the unlikely event that the party DOES suffer losses in the damage tug of war. 
We want to be sparing with how much attrition we throw at the party at once, so as to not create a “death spiral” where failures compound upon one another and make getting through the adventure impossible. 
In most cases suffering Attrition should be something the party is able to avoid by being fast/lucky/cautious/clever or whatever else the encounter requires. It’s there to add weight and consequence to their actions, and as a factor for DMs to build scenarios around. 
Exhaustion:  Unlike a lot of the other changes made in Oned&d, I actually quite like the overhaul of “each point of exhaustion is a cumulative -1 to all d20 rolls and spell dc, beyond 10 is death” as it allows us to play with exhaustion far more readily as an attrition. 
Every night you don’t rest in a haven (a safe comfortable place)  you need to make a con save or take a point of exhaustion, with the ruggedness of the environment determining the DC. Characters with the survival skill or natural explorer feat don’t have to make this roll. Only rest in a haven removes exhaustion at the rate of one point per night (though spaces like a luxury inn or a peaceful glade watched over by friendly fey may restore more)  
Hitting 0 hp and then being healed gives you a point of exhaustion. Nothing’s going to tire you out like getting magically defibulated so now everyone can stop complaining about healing word spam. 
Poison:  For our purposes, the “poisoned” condition as written  is too severe. Disadvantage on all attacks and ability checks is downright punishing for anything other than a single battle. Instead we’re going to make it work like charmed, where there’s a baseline effect for the purposes of resistance, but the status of each poison is dependant on the source.  
Poison falls in the “ short term big effect” side of attrition, specifically undermining a player’s ability to do most things since most effects end on a successful save or at the end of an encounter. Long lasting poisons should have more minor effects than the default poisoned condition, only applying to a few types of rolls or having a bane-like effect that makes judging the odds just a little bit more difficult.  
This makes poison great to use for dungeons and short-ranging exploration where the party is likely to face multiple encounters in one day. 
Diseases:  4e aced the design of these maladies by treating them as a contained skill challenge with their own CR  with various stages: stage 0: you were cured, stage 1: you suffered the initial effect, stage 2 or 3: you suffered a severe effect, with the final stage (3-4) being some effect that made the disease permanent.  When you got a disease it was usually stage 1, and you (usually) saved for it at the start of each day. Beating the DC by 5 or more meant you went down a stage (closer to 0), where as simply succeeding meant it stayed as bad as it was. Failing meant you got sicker, meaning a character could bounce up and down in wellness as an adventure went on. 
Diseases are best for longterm adventures, and often undermine one particular aspect of a character ( healing, actions assosiated with a particular stat).  Counterpoint to poisons, diseases should start out fairly gentle and then get worse the longer they’re left alone, leading to eventually devastating effects.  
Curses:  While borrowing the mechanics of diseases, I’d have curses be specifically weirder in their effects. The sort of thing that can make up the central hook or b-plot of a whole adventure.  This should also mean that curses are the hardest for the party to stumble into, but also the hardest to shake. 
Item Degradation: Detailed in a previous post HERE, the long and short of it is that item degradation is a form of player driven attrition that gently curbs their overall power level. If they go too hard, use their best items recklessly, get involved in needless fights, then they’re going to be in worse shape by the time they reach the final challenge. This was supposed be the idea behind HP/limited class abilities per day, but attrition systems cover that better IMO. 
Stress:  The psychological counterpoint to exhaustion,  I’ve already talked about Stress HERE. I tend to only use stress in horror themed adventures and campaigns, as it builds upon 5e’s optional “madness” system which fits the theme when gothic terrors and eldritch abominations but less so with the game’s usual heroic fare. 
Hunger & Supply:  I made a super lightweight system based off this idea of “depletion die” for potions and other consumables, check it out, it’s lightweight and fantastic.  Using this kind of system gives us another avenue to challenge our party, lengthening or shortening their lifeline as they lose supplies and seek out new caches. 
Thinking environmentally:  Part of the fantasy of being an adventurer is travelling to dangerous places and living to tell the tale.  We’re denying our party that fantasy if we don’t follow through on the threat the idea of these places imply.  You should risk sickness if you go into a swamp, sewer, or jungle, thirst should be a factor in desert exploration, just like freezing is for mountain and winter expeditions.  That’s to say nothing of magical hazards; cursed landscapes that drain your will to live dead marshes style, alchemical smog in a steampunk industrial zone, fading into nothingness as you approach the edge of existence.  
Figure out the natural hazards, make your party aware of the danger, and then build your adventure around the fact that they’ll need to save against the hazard each time they take a long rest.. Do they take a detour if it means having a safe place to camp? Is there a resource they need to manage along the way? Could encounters expose them to further dangers or make their current exposure worse? Keeping these ideas in mind especially when you’re planning a wilderness exploration adventure should give you lots of ideas to fill up those encounter tables. 
Adding insult to injury:  Giving enemies the ability to inflict attrition in various forms makes otherwise trivial  enemies a credible threat even to a seasoned adventuring party. As an example,  A party might breeze through a fight with some monstrous spiders ( or even ONE regular sized spider, if you can imagine) , but that spider encounter doesn’t need to be the most dangerous thing ever if their next encounter is a navigation challenge fording a river and a few of the heroes are still groggy thanks to the slow acting poison in their systems.  
In this way you can use attrition based battles to soften your party up for greater challenges, long after their HP totals and healing ability have outpaced the damage a single trap/encounter can do.

For writing fights scene: try taking out all pronouns and only adding them back in where there is time for that character to think. Fight time typically ranges from seconds to 5 minutes depending on the context (survival vs show, foe vs friend). If you cant find time for the character to think in enough detail to get aross vital info, make time by creating an envirmental hazard: someone about to catch a bully beating up someone else or a stack of crates to knock over, etc. An envirmental hazard gives a character time to think and do something that moves the scene or larger plot forward: getting the upper hand, stealing something, running away, etc.

who was he talking to, anyway? you already knew all the ability users around here; at least, the ones that would pose a threat to fyodor. you knew all the rats, and the employees and customers in the casino. this person was a complete stranger, even to you. all this while, you thought your only competition were other ability users, those who could prove to be more useful than you were to fyodor. it doesn't occur to you that very few people would be able, let alone willing, to do the things you do for fyodor, from scoping out potential allies and foes, to killing off his enemies.
your heart ached at the sight of him interacting with someone else when he knew you were there, too. didn't he like you too? the silent satisfaction when you did as he asked, the curious glance when you ran off after your first meeting—weren't all those expressions reserved only for you?
despite how much your hands trembled and your eyes stung, you decide to leave them be, for now. you had your work cut out for you. with the face of your target committed to memory, you set off to do some investigation of your own.

omg side order was so good
my annoying rant about everything down below⬇️ also if you dont have the dlc dont press the keep reading button
OKAY so for starters it was actually kinda disappointing to see that most of the gameplay has been shown already in the trailer, i would’ve liked to have been surprised..
and there is no feeling of progressing forward like any other storymode since you go to the start every single time you lose and all your achievements disappear unless you get into the boss fight, and only if you win you get one singular key
and all the powerups that you’re used to having just gone. poof. disappear.
i would’ve liked to see npcs that you can actually talk to because somehow there is no button to talk to pearl? like maybe they should have made a feature when you’re right underneath pearl to press A and talk to her for a bit, even if its something simple like “yo! let’s get back on track!”
you can’t even talk to marina and all she asks is if you need something to be hacked, which makes her seem as she’s just there for that mechanic and nothing else— as someone who never played splatoon 2 and doesnt know her personality im not sure what the hype is about for her
we should have been able to go into the elevator and actually walk around and talk to the characters and like salmon run, when it says ‘time to go to work!’ for side order it would say ‘arrived at floor’ or smth like that.. i would give anything to be able to walk around and interact with everyone in the elevator, like if the characters pearl, marina and dedf1sh weren’t there it would function the same
why arent we able to talk to them like. dedf1sh is such a cool character where is the lore? they just stand in a corner and is just there…
it would be so amazing if you could slowly befriend dedf1sh and get exclusive gear/random stuff from the metro or smth from them as the friendship points rack up and they become more open to you
and all the bosses are easy to tell apart from the silhouette and you can easily guess how you’re going to fight them, i want that little moment of mystery as well as not knowing how hard it’s going to be
coloured fingertips dont even seem like a thing anymore, it was just for agent 8 and her blue palette things
it looks as if you have to fight many of the same boss to get the locker key and after it just becomes repetitive and there is no story whatsoever, the villain is a glitchy entity called ‘order’??? like if that same glitchy entity thing switched to agent 4 for like half a frame the entire fandom would go WHOAH WHAT WAS THAT and we’d be talking about it for ten thousand days
the only motive is that you have to save everyone from being grayscaled blablabla but you dont even have any evidence of the character even being there, the character palettes are just a cheap way to implement more weapons, like what do you mean we don’t get the actual characters standing around the outside of the spire.. i want to talk to paul and warabi and ikkan (cough cough i mean quinn and mashup???)
we cant even get these extra characters because 3d modelling is SUCH a LOT of EFFORT for such a huge company like nintendo we should feel so sorry for all the work that they had to do, they put in their best effort (sarcasm)
all the enemies/foes are just remodelled salmon run enemies like battering largo or whatever (they could remodel the enemies but not the bands?? what)
also wheres cypher? i thought the shrimpy character would be a main character that wanders around and sells you stuff but theyre not even in sight
so uhh you can say ‘skill issue’ or smth because OHHH I HAVENT FINISHED THE GAME YEAH THIS PERSON IS JUST COMPLAINING BECAUSE THEYRE BAD AT IT or whatever im just disappointed that it was kinda overhyped and i drew art for a character that didnt even exist (skeleton agent 4)

people might have done this before but. coroika au where the shadows won. i don't see enough shadows content and i want more so why not make an au for it ??
WARNING: gets dark. i like dark stuff. so it gets dark lmao. tw's in tags.
in short the idea so far is that the shadows win the final battle and take over the square. they're not entirely sure what to do with it at first - they sort of thought goggles and his team would win based on his track record with high ranked and high powered foes - but they manage to clear the area of all the "original" (or what i like to call outerworld) inkfish. They let most of the shopkeepers stay if they please (quite possibly forcing sheldon to stay, since they need weapons if they're going to fight their own turf wars (which, what else is there to do with their time?)) but they absolutely cleanse the area of any colourful ink kids.
this lasts for a while. a decent amount of time actually. the shadows come and go from the tv screens of deca tower as they please and/or need and they have their fun. eventually though, they start running out of radio waves to suck the energy from. they try various other sources such as the splatoon equivalent of phones as a sort of mobile battery, other tv displays and even lightning, but all of what they try is temporary at best. they find ways to channel lightning to deca tower as well as other places, but lighting obviously isn't permanent, and it often comes with rain, so having inkfish biology means they cant stand around in a storm and just hope to get zapped in case it starts raining.
in slight desperation, the shadows decide to take their chances with both the splatlands and the inkopolis plaza. the shadows from deca tower form two teams of the strongest players and battle it out for both locations. the battle at the splatlands proves to be a bit of a struggle against the best 8 and their increasing skill, however their own shadows are no match for them. both areas are successfully taken over by the shadows, and it provides them with enough radio waves to maintain their existence a little longer. they figure with so much energy they can discover new techniques as well, which leads to the discovery of more than just the leg tingling throw electric waves we see in the manga. this could be anything from giving someone a harmless little electric nip to their fingers to full on electric shock.
eventually, the same thing happened as what ended up happening in inkopolis square. the leftover radio waves start running out and becoming unreliable, and the shadows find they need something more.
by this time, the outerworld population that once inhabited these now shadow ridden areas are beginning to hide out in the square again. ink kids in the splatlands and the plaza will soon follow. once the shadows find out, they're immediately pissed off. they thought they'd cleansed the area of all non-shadows! but one smart shadow realizes that they can use these freshly found terrified souls for their own benefit. the plan is to threaten to kill the original inkfish if they don't comply, whilst complying simply requires them to begin an unconsensual and untrained voiceover job. they're forced to commentate on the shadow's turf matches in order to generate more amplified radio waves. word soon spreads to areas outside of the square and barely two weeks later sees the shadow community thriving again.
skip ahead a bit and the shadows find themselves hungry again. they're thriving in terms of radio waves, but they're absolutely starved in terms of entertainment. they aren't like goggles, blue team, even other teams who have been convinced to see eye to eye with the opinion that turf wars are for "fun". sure, they could be fun and entertaining, and they kept the shadow's energy up in terms of radio waves, but they were only fun for so long. some shadows already seem to have ideas for more entertainment.
having forced some of the outerworld population into commentary roles, the shadows figure they can do more. they begin to force them into other things too. talk shows, podcasts, turf war challenge which in some way forces the participator/s to face off with their shadow/s. you name it, they've thought of it.
but it still isn't enough. they're hungry in other ways. physical ways. they're starving. the food supplies are running low in all areas, and most shadows are running on rations, if that. so they turn to cannibalism. though, can it really be called "cannibalism" if the shadows are made of radiowaves and the inkfish are made of ink? that's how they justify it, anyway. the make sure to never eat someone entirely. after all, they might still need them as commentators later down the track. if they do, however, spawn points close to eating areas have been mandated and generalized as a part of shadow society, so no inkfish will ever die. in theory, infinite food.
now where are our main characters, you ask? goggles, rider, vintage, emperor, ocho. they're all hiding in different areas. most of the best 8 are hiding out in alterna. they're convinced none of the shadows will find them there since only mitsu knows about it (and now the rest of the best 8) but only time will tell. other splatlandians are hiding in the grizzco building. none of the shadows know how to participate in salmon run, nor do they want to. they see no point, and there's always a possibility of dying permanently there. wire is the only member missing of the best 8. he's managed to mostly safely move down to inkopolis square to support rider, his older brother. they both later move even further to inkopolis plaza with the s4. they keep themselves hidden in the shoal, seeing as the shadows don't need to rest there after matches. the x blood and team emperor (including laceless) find themselves hidden in octo valley, only thanks to vintage's time as "agent 4.3". it takes them a while to get along, but they eventually have to force themselves to so that they don't get found. lastly, hachi's team and blue team manage to make it back to the deep sea metro to hide there. this is likely the safest place, since the shadows won't know how to get there. at most, they would know if it's existence, but it's so deep underground no shadow would ever think nor want to go down there.
most other background, side or less strong characters can be seen hiding out around other places of these three locations. abandoned buildings, dark alleys and abandoned shops, and very rarely abandoned turf maps. there's always a chance the turf maps will be returned to, however, so only the strongest and/or dumbest outerworlders end up there. some smaller character can also be found stuck with other groups of survivors, or even flipping between groups depending on location and safety.
by some means, most likely forms of social media, groups will form alliances and attempt to make plans to take down the shadow nation as much as they can. anything will help at this stage, or so they think.

I felt they really missed a trick with the final boss in MK1…..so here is my take on how to improve it
The Problem
I found it rather disrespectful that after 30 years Shang Tsung was finally coming back to the series as the sole villain and Final boss. He has always been a prominent bad guy but is usually overshadowed by a bigger villain or has to share the spotlight with someone else . This was his time to shine again as the main antagonist …….and he,s reduced to being a reskinned version of his New era incarnation and has all the same moves despite it not making much sense because they are very different people
He also spent a good chunk of Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath feasting on the souls of others to steal their strength and power…so that should have been implemented……it just comes across as very lazy because they implement boss fights in invasion mode but cant do it for one of the most iconic haracters
APPERANCE
In an ideal world we would bring back Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa to reprise the role but if that was not an option I would give him the following look
He is dressed in extravagant crimson and black robes with the crown of kronika upon his head. His skin has become pallid and corpse like with eyes that now glow a sickly green, He now resembles something akin to shinnok than the mortal man we once knew . He has used to his new role as Time Keeper to dabble further into the darkest of magic and it has corrupted his body
Basic attacks
They do more damage than the average fighter with some of his more powerful moves being capable sending his opponent flying . It makes sense he would have enhanced strenth from taking the soul of Shao Kahn
Special moves
· The triple fireball/: is now his only projectile …..it does more damage and is faster than the new era shangs version
· Triple ground fireball same
· Slashing: This shang does not have the claws so he instead summons 2 lightning swords similar to Raiden in MK 11 and slashes with them**. He absorbed Raidens soul in 11 so is exploiting another skill he gained**
· Spikes: Titan shang summons a large clawed hand from the ground to skewer his foes**. As a godlike being he now wields power similar to shinnok and is at the height of his magical prowess**
. Lightning bolt: summons a bolt of red lighting to strike his opponent.
The soul steal: He draws energy from the crown to create a shield around himself that both protects him from damage and restores a portion of his health (requires recharge so he cant spam it ) The idea here is that thanks to the crown …….he now no longer needs to feed directly on his foe and can simply summon souls  from the crown
· Sindels scream: with the same banshee effect from 11
· Time stop: waves his hand and stops time for a few seconds
· Shape shift : he changes into whoever he is fighting and gains access to their move set
· Rather than shape shifting into an old man he instead shifts between his regular form and Damashi
Fatal blow: He shapeshifts into various people he’s absorbed such as night wolf and Shao kahn to deal heavy damage. This would be similar to his MK11 fatal blow where he became the ninjas.

Fatality 1: He summons a tiny wisp of fire from his hand and sends it into his opponent through their mouth It proceeds to expand within them and basically disintegrates them from the inside out. The only thing that is left is the orb now transformed to the size of a small sun ……floating ominously
Fatality 2: He morphs into Damashi and gently places his/her hand upon the head of whoever they are fighting……and they simply age to dust.
All this gives this iconic villain his due as he reclaims his throne as the final boss ….and makes him truly a Titan
this would be the basic inspiration of his robes …

EVENT: Rescue Mission Phase Two Part 3. The Cybernetic Demon

OST: Realization
The strike team stood outside of the base watching over every individual as they were being checked out by the medical team with reinforcements arriving as well. Made even worse by the fact that some of the brains that were found needed to be cartwheeled out carefully onto cargo ships. Some of them containing Zek's friends that he made when he was younger.

"I cant believe this. Why would someone go as far as to literally harvest the brains of innocent people who had done nothing wrong?" Eros said holding his helmet looking at the waves of civilians being treated for their injuries, any side-effects of the experimentation, and furthermore.

"Made worse by the fact that we we're planning to set charges and get rid of any evidence related with Project Immortalis... but the good news is that the successful serum was replicated when those scientists came to....all that now matters is if the mark we're chasing has it injected into himself..." Leonidas said, with Eros nodding. "Add salt to the injury mate, because most of those people were either Zek's own allies from before he joined up with us." He continued.

"Still.. it gladdens me to see that command had also sent Merlinda and Twilight here to help. Add that with Krieg and we should create an alternate version of Immortalis that should easily take out our foe.... the only problem is that we have a long way to go." Guangxian said, which the trio noticed Hermes, Krieg, Twilight, and Zek would walk towards them.

"Hows everything with your mum, Zek? All-clear? No side effects?" Eros asked.

"Ms. Atya is doing incredibly well, so far as per the disturbing videos that Guangxian had to send me which resulted in five days loss of beauty sleep. She has no signs of the aforementioned side-effects as I theorized which would happen. Albeit something else was wrong but its quite major.." Merlinda said, with Zek moving back to the trio to listen to what the professionals had else to say.
"What I noticed through my semblance was that her genetic cells were breaking down much slower than originally expected through a lifetime of faunus' or humans. After I took a blood sample and observed the sample... her blood was showing signs of symbiosis with Project Immortalis.. meaning one thing. Her body is aging slowly and any damage she may take might heal up rapidly... but I assume it is with a certain amount of dosages of it..... that Ms. Atya would have became psuedo immortal....." Twilight said.

"An Immortal Army . . . ." Eros said with awe, thinking for a minute. "And Ace how about him? Will he be able to pilot the Liberation still?" He asked while Krieg and Hermes looked at Eros.

"Ace is sadly suffering from some effects from Fusion Poisoning which thankfully the medical teams got to him in time to administer the antidote. As for the Liberation... it is currently being repaired... if Ace does come to he'll be using the Atelius' Railgun cannon in order to fire at any large targets should the time come.....

"As for me and Krieg we may have to remain here in order to help with ensuring that none of the civilians are suffering from the side-effects of Project Immortalis... sorry. at this point you may be the final four or five if Ace gets back up." Hermes said putting his hands behind his back.

"It' aint gonna be easy. But I do like a challenge...." Eros would say. "Alright. We'll leave things to you. Everyone else lets get back to work." He said putting on his helmet and thus him, Zek, Guangxian, and Leonidas would re-enter the base... of the Solitas Liberation LLC.
Back inside the base..
The small strike team led by Eros would move through the enemy base carefully keeping their wits about and their minds focused on the endgame at hand. As they all entered an elevator with just nothing more but calming music playing....
Finally... a voice would come through.
"Well Well! Gentlemen! I do must say so myself.. I congratulate you for catching us offguard like that...! Really, it takes a lot to do that ever since the last time... Mr. Sunna-Simo....." A voice would say with a southern accent added to it.

"Blyat.... I thought they would forget about that... guess they didnt." Zek said softly.
"After all, that time we were just about to complete our plans and even not harm those civvies. But after that.... we had to improvise on some things especially after losing our funding because of that Blizzard Sniper incident. I knew you had a killer instinct Zekkie-boy. However, turns out that killer instinct was focused on us instead of the enemies when we hired you..." The voice continued.

"When I get my hands on you, I'm going to make sure those bones of yours will be broken!!!!" Leonidas growled.
"Broken? Hahaha... After all, I think I can't call myself human anymore.Why not enter the main room and lets all talk face to face! Mano A Mano! Enemy of My Enemy is my friend!" The voice continued with the elevator ringing with the doors opening up as everyone walked through noticing the large cylinder towers.... with little blue rings of light.

"WRONG! All those towers are holdin' nice, juicy, flesh-meat brains!!!!" The southern voice spoke once more with everyone pointing their weapons at the railing in front of them as heavy footsteps were leading straight to them...with a large man wearing an equally large trenchcoat as he opened up one of tower lights with him picking up a brain as it trilled and twitched in terror.

He continued placing the brain back in its pod with an evil grin on his face making Zek point Hayha directly at Barbatos head and fired. With the man simply stepping to the side in a flash. "Not here... can't damage the goods now. I'll lead you boys to my office.... we can talk there!!!" He said turning around and walking away which everyone else didnt wait... they followed... into a room of stairs leading to another part of the building where Barbatos stood in a large room without his trenchcoat on turning around revealing his mechanical body

"I'm going to tear off the flesh from all of your bodies and turn into perfect cyborgs like me..." He said with a menacing voice as he aimed for Zek first as he started firing with everyone scrambling around for cover. While Eros would shoot at him to get his attention.

Eros shouted shooting at him to which Barbatos turned his attention toEros and began to shoot at him which the commander would throw a grenade at him while Leonidas used his 300, Interchangable plasma rifle in its grenade launcher state to further faze the cyborg with both making contact and exploding...

"Damn.... that was somethin.... my turn." He said with a glow being emitted from his back while Leonidas and Eros prepared themselves but in a blink, Barbatos was already in front of them both and swung both his fists at their guts hitting them and making them both cough in pain as they both keeled over.
"Bloody... hell....what...was that..." Eros said taking off his helmet to vomit, while Leonidas kept his on to and looked up at Barbatos who was chuckling at his work. "Why dont you live long enough to find out and-" Barbatos spoke noticing his HUD was showing up with an attempted hacking symbol on it as he turned around to look at Guangxian who was busy hacking into his systems. "Nice try..." He said initiating the counter measures and locking him out.

"What!?!" Guangxian said before his signaler popped making the hacker stumble a bit with the same thing happening to him..getting flash stepped and knocked out by the cyborg.
With the Cyborg ready to revel in his possible victory he looked around for Zek who in fact was just a slight distraction... which the sniper threw his knife... as Barbatos knocked it away. And right before he was going to do a fusion rush. Bang.....
His the light was emitted from his back was destroyed by a well placed grenade launched shot from Leonidas. Who stood up and roared charging at the Cyborg swinging a kinetic punch making him stumble with a groan from the charged semblance, then came Eros who stood up in time throwing his plasma knife at the rocket launcher, the Guangxian quickly came to and started hacking again... this time managing to counterhack Barbatos counter hacking measures...
And finally Zek would slide in to snipe the head of Barbatos off ... as the Cyborg fell down.... dead...

Dealing with bots following you daily feels like a daily battle you have to fight against soulless masked foes that you have to beat off with a stick. And you can vaguely see others in the distance doing the same. But at some point to sit down and rest and then get overwhelmed for a while. Or you just stop fighting them and cant even bother fighting them anymore leading to them getting to a point they can begin their actions of attaching themselves to other tags that are irrelevant. And all you have to fight back against these bots are a blunt sword and a labeling machine sending them off to someone else never to see that specific bot again… and yet another will take its place not too long after you send the current swarm you have around you away. With the people who fight actually saying things about the fight likely not being close by.

FRIENDS / REALLY GOOD FRIENDS / SMTH ELSE ALONG THE LINES - is what it sounds! eiden's not a hard guy to befriend he's happy to bother you (to the point of nuisance? depends a bit...) He's happy to offer advice, happy to support even total strangers... really he's a guy that loves to do stuff for people from the bottom of his heart! this is true even if your character's a little on questionable moral side (like at reasonable amounts, depends whether you want to keep it lighthearted or not).... he's not a TOTAL pushover but he's also very much a people pleaser -- on the flipside he CAN in fact be a menace himself! Lighthearted pranks and all (he feels bad if he goes too far lol)... - generally though they'll just do with what friends would do !
BUSINESS ASSOCIATES - idk like whatever stuff business you would have with adult toy store but lol well you can always just be material supplier etc. but anything else goes too
COWORKER - he's got adult toy business (eidensspot is the url im too lazy to link) and well, he'd be your boss?
SOME SMALLTIME GIG THING? - you manage to get eiden roped into any job you can think of
FOES?? / ANTAGONISTIC ?? - its less that he would just trust anyone but more just... due to wanting to see things from all sides eiden might give people a little too much leeway sometimes so it can make him easy to screw over (but he wont give people endless chances either tho lol). it takes A Lot from him to dislike person but like if you treat him like dirt he'll have some problems lmaoo. guiltrip, gaslight, manipulate.... whatever works.
IT'S COMPLICATED/LETS TAKE SOME TIME - maybe you just start a little bad and so they have to make some real effort for them to understand each other? eiden might be willing to work it out with even more difficult people. He's very like to try to seek compromises and so on but there's just something that doesn't sit right with either of them... Maybe they just end up kind of arguing when they meet, etc.... things like that. this can be kind of on antagonisic side too ? but for some reason there is this will to work whatever this is out!
MENTORS/CONFIDANTS - Eiden is yours or you're eiden's! In whatever? Eiden's usually pretty put together but it'd be fun to have those people that will kind of challenge him sometimes too, in ...whatever? (ofc friends can be this too lmao but yknow like primary purpose...thing? idk how to put this) Take that more serious side out of him sometimes!
YOU KNOW SOMEONE HE KNOWS AND SOMETHINGS UP or uh something like that? maybe nothings up at all - like... self explanatory? common ground i guess! eiden's great mediator too if needed (tho you can also accidentally end up relying him too much if you like???? or something like that) and so on, self-explanatory enough

been developing the Dragon for vigilante au
she was the only villain they ever had in the area, and she wasnt even a big villain, just a small one that did more petty crime than anything else
she had no allies, and everyone that opposed her was an enemy. as such, most of the current vigilantes do not have fond memories of her despite their guilt over the end of her career
the Incident (as in capital 'I' Incident) occurred a few years prior, probably just around the time that the Rivendell Twins were moving into the spotlight and Nature's Wrath (Overgrown and Wolf Spirit) were beginning to fade out of the public eye a little more.
they fought against her though, in the last stand she posed. Overgrown fought alongside the Ice Prince, someone she might have recognised if it was a few more years prior, but you cant really fault her for the indifference she shows the stranger. she doesnt even know them after all
the Dragon's speciality was magic. similar to the Purple Mage's magic, but a little more twisted. she delved into the minds of her enemies (and everyone was her enemy), dragging forth their worst moments and leaving them floundering on the battlefield, fighting foes that dont exist and crying at emotions that have been long buried
it's hard to fight something that isn't real
the Purple Mage, Gem, can't help but find it fascinating. she'd give up anything she could to get a hold of the books the Dragon used, to even catch a glimpse of how it worked (and she reassures herself she would never use it on those around her. she has too much respect for their own privacy. even if the idea intrigues her a little more than an academic venture probably should)

5e Nilah, the Joy Unbound build (League of Legends)

Guys Nilah's balanced she's not a 200 years champion I swear this isn't my first time playing Nilah and the Ahri wasn't 13/2 I swear this is perfectly balanced there's absolutely no problems with Nilah as a champion.
Nilah is super fun but oh my lord she’s overtuned as hell. The funny thing is if they gave her like 400 extra health and removed all her free lifesteal and armor penetration she’d probably be more balanced overall. But cheers to another 200 years champion that can consistently 1v2 because memes I guess. At least she has a fun kit that’s interesting to recreate in D&D.
GOALS
My waters cut deep! - We need a whip. This doesn’t sound too special, but that’s kinda the main thing that’s special about Nilah.
Triumph and exaltation - We need to be able to heal by cutting down and cleaving our foes. Because what do you mean Nilah has way too many free stats just for existing?
That was fast; should I have held back? - Honestly recreating Nilah’s ult was probably the hardest part about her kit. I think I managed something... pretty good.
RACE
Nilah is a human (as far as we know) and even though I like popping out the Eberron subraces more-often-than-not making her a Variant Human is actually the better play. Increase both your Constitution and your Dexterity by 1, grab the Survival skill, the Infernal language (for talking to demons and devils.)
For your feat I’d love to grab one of the UA feats relating to water, but that’s not official not that it’s stopped me before. And Fey Touched is more generally useful: sell your soul to Ashlesh (who’s a Fey now, I guess) for +1 to your Intelligence, the Misty Step spell (for Flash), and the Hex spell! The main reason I’m going for Fey Touched is in fact Hex, as it will give you your main source of damage for the early levels, and can even carry your DPS late game.
ABILITY SCORES
15; INTELLIGENCE - There was a girl before Nilah; one who studied a lot. But she’s gone now, and Nilah is here!
14; DEXTERITY - You need Dexterity to swing a whip and slice through your foes!
13; CONSTITUTION - More like we don’t need anything else, and health is always good.
12; CHARISMA - Nilah’s... charming enough. People always love someone who smiles.
10; WISDOM - We just need everything else more and when most folk tales are about you doing something stupid you don’t tend to pick up on that wisdom.
8; STRENGTH - Again: we just need everything else more.
BACKGROUND
You were a Sage before making a deal with a demon to wipe your emotional spectrum and become a monster slayer... but the Sage background still fits you well for Arcana and History proficiency as well as some languages.
Honestly though I’d maybe swap your background feature with the Far Traveler trait “All Eyes on You” (that will get all eyes on you for being a hero from a far off land) or the Celebrity Adventurer’s Scion feature “Name Dropping” (that will allow you to mention some of the famous people you know and famous beasts you’ve slain.) Basically modify those backgrounds with Arcana and History proficiency because you don’t remember much about being a Sage.

THE BUILD
LEVEL 1 - ROGUE 1
Starting off as a Rogue for proficiency in 4 skills: Acrobatics, Athletics (because your Strength is bad), Stealth (because you’re a Rogue), and Perception (because why not.) You can also get Expertise in two of your skills and I’d actually suggest both Arcana and History, so you can know the tales of great beasts to slay them!
You also learn Thieves’ Cant to communicate about secret stuff in Bilgewater, and Sneak Attack. Basically if a foe is flanked or they don’t see you coming, you can get some armor penetration for an extra d6 of damage! If you fight alone the latter will happen more but the former is more likely while fighting with a team!
Now you may be wondering: Rogues don’t get whip proficiency. That is correct, as we’ll get the whip in a bit. But if you’re starting at level 1 you have a few options:
Beg your DM - The whip does piss-poor damage anyways and it’s only marginally better than a dagger anyways. I doubt any DM wouldn’t let you use a whip for flavor.
Don’t use a whip to start - A shortsword or rapier works just as fine, although you can’t keep your distance.
Just use the whip anyways 4head - The only thing stopping you from using a whip is your proficiency bonus, which is a mere +2 anyways. You can still swing a whip without proficiency FYI. It might not hit as often but if you want to stick to the aesthetic its your best choice.
LEVEL 2 - ROGUE 2
Second level Rogues get Cunning Action, letting them Dash, Disengage, or Hide as a Bonus Action. The first two are obviously more in-character for Nilah, and now you can double dash because what do you mean giving a champion Samira’s old dash twice isn’t good design?
LEVEL 3 - WIZARD 1
You were once a scholar, and unfortunately while Warlock would make more sense Wizard provides us with some magic that we need to recreate Ashlesh’s abilities. But first of all you get Spellcasting for 3 cantrips and 6 spells at level 1:
CANTRIPS
Seven hands means at least one can be lent to Mage Hand.
Prestidigitation is good for general demonic magic stuff.
Green Flame Blade may do fire damage but it’s the best way to get cleaving damage. At least from a cantrip.
SPELLS
Shield, Mage Armor, and Absorb Elements are all universally good for defense.
Detect Magic and Identify are useful to know what danger you’re walking into.
Tasha’s Hideous Laughter fits the character, I suppose. It’s also a good debuff. Honestly you can only prepare 4 spells and I’d just take the 3 defensive spells and maybe Detect Magic.
Arcane Recovery also helps you get some of your spell slots back on a Short Rest: an exact number equal to half your Wizard level (rounded down.) There’s some other things to explain about the ability but you can read it yourself to understand. The point is that you can get a spell slot back for Hex once per Long Rest.
LEVEL 4 - WIZARD 2
Second level Wizards get to choose their Arcane Tradition, and Wizard is my favorite martial class! Choose the Bladesinger for Training in War and Song to give you proficiency in the Performance skill, Light Armor which you already have, and most importantly: Whip proficiency!
Most notably however if you want to channel your inner hero with some demonic aid Bladesong will let you become awesome for a time. You can use a bonus action to start Bladesong, which lasts for 1 minute and ends early if you are incapacitated, if you don medium / heavy armor or a shield (which you shouldn’t), or if you use two hands to make an attack with a weapon. (But thankfully whips are one-handed weapons.) Alternatively you can dismiss the Bladesong at any time with no action required.
During Bladesong your movement speed increases by 10 feet, you get advantage on Acrobatics checks, an increase to your AC equal to your Intelligence, and a boost to your Concentration checks equal to your Intelligence. Basically you won’t get hit and won’t lose concentration. Theoretically. Anyways you can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per Long Rest, so don’t go picking too many fights.
Finally you learn two more 1st level spells: Feather Fall is a good defensive spell when scaling titanic foes, and Find Familiar will let you roleplay a Star Guardian a little better. Plus Find Familiar is a good spell.

LEVEL 5 - WIZARD 3
3rd level Wizards can learn 2nd level spells, and since we already have Flash we can concentrate on other things like Blur for your Jubilant Veil, and  Wither and Bloom for a version of your ultimate that can be used at range! But really while Wither and Bloom is meant to recreate your ult using it at range for a cleave that can also heal an ally is rather useful.
LEVEL 6 - WIZARD 4
4th level Wizards finally get their first Ability Score Improvement and because you’re using a whip the Slasher feat is particularly good for kiting enemies. Along with a +1 to your Dexterity you will slow an enemy you hit with a slashing weapon (whips deal slashing!) by 10 feet once per turn. Additionally, if you score a critical hit your opponent will have disadvantage on their attack rolls until the start of your next turn!
Additionally you can learn two more spells like Rime’s Binding Ice to bind your foes in place (yeah duh) and Vortex Warp to pull a friend out of danger as needed (or pull them into danger!), and another cantrip like Message to keep in team chat.
LEVEL 7 - WIZARD 5
Third level spells time, and this is where most of the spells I want are! Start by taking Spirit Shroud to add a d8 to all your whip strikes (instead of just your attacks against one target, which makes it marginally better than Hex.) Alternatively if you need some sustain Vampiric Touch can let you lifesteal back to health. Vampiric Touch will force you in melee range (instead of letting you keep 5 feet back with your whip) but you’ve gotta get in the fight to sustain after all!
LEVEL 8 - WIZARD 6
6th level Bladesingers get an Extra Attack, because Wizard is my favorite martial class. What’s special about this Extra Attack is that it allows you to use a cantrip in-place of one of your attacks, meaning you can use Green Flame Blade with your first attack and still strike with your second attack!
And you can pick up your final two spells! Although you can always get more from scrolls or other such scholarly ventures. Ashardalon’s Stride is good if you need mobility and don’t mind the thematic weirdness of doing fire damage, and  Leomund’s Tiny Hut is rather universally useful when traveling the world to slay mighty foes. A safe place to rest is always useful!

LEVEL 9 - ROGUE 3
Now that you’ve lived a little as a scholar it’s time for that bookish girl from Kathkan to die, and for Nilah to be reborn as a Phantom! Whispers of the Dead gives you a skill or tool proficiency you lack that can be swapped out during a Short or Long Rest, allowing you to be up for the task at all times.
But what we’re mostly here for is Wails from the Grave for some more cleave damage! When you trigger Sneak Attack you can choose another target within 30 feet of the original to take half your Sneak Attack damage in Necrotic damage. Talk about a big cleave! You can only do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus currently, but you needn’t worry: that will change with time. Oh and to top it off your Sneak Attack now deals 2d6 damage.
LEVEL 10 - ROGUE 4
More ASIs are fun. You can either increase your Intelligence for more spells prepared and a harder saving against your like... 3 spells that have saves. Or you can increase your Dexterity for more damage, hit chance, AC, initiative, skill checks...
Yeah you’re gonna want to increase your Dexterity by 2.
LEVEL 11 - ROGUE 5
Are your foes proving too much to face with just the Shield spell alone? Well Uncanny Dodge also uses your reaction, but you can use it to take half damage when struck! Save Shield for when you think you’re going to be hit multiple times, but if you take one big blow then Uncanny Dodge can help if you can’t block. I mean it only works against attack rolls you see coming, but it’s still a powerful asset. And speaking of powerful assets: you now deal 3d6 Sneak Attack damage, and since Wails from the Grave rounds up that now deals 2d6 damage!
LEVEL 12 - ROGUE 6
6th level Rogues get Expertise in two more skills. You can choose whatever you want (as long as it’s not your Whispers of the Dead skill) but I’d choose Athletics (because your Strength is trash but you can probably get your DM to allow you to roll Athletics for most Strength-based things anyways) and Stealth (because you are a Rogue, after all.)
LEVEL 13 - ROGUE 7
By this point you’re probably facing down foes that breath fire, acid, and all sorts of nasty things. Up your dodging skills with Evasion! The concept is simple: if you succeed a Dexterity save you take no damage, and if you fail you still only take half (instead of full damage.) No fire trap is going to stop Nilah, especially with 4d6 Sneak Attack damage!

LEVEL 14 - ROGUE 8
Finally you can max out Dexterity! You need that crit chance for you free damage, lifesteal, armor penetration, and ally healing because what do you mean Nilah is overtuned?
LEVEL 15 - ROGUE 9
It’s about time you got to cleave more often. 9th level Phantom Rogues can grab Tokens of the Departed; trinkets to aid with your epic tales of heroism. You get a Soul Trinket as a reaction whenever a creature dies within 30 feet of you, and Ashlesh will grant you a number of benefits for having them.
You get advantage on death saves and Constitution saving throws. (CON saves in particular is nice because that helps you keep Concentration on your spells!)
You can use one of the tokens to trigger your Wails from the Grave, in case you ran of out charges for that.
You can also ask questions to the dead, although it might not be too useful as they’d rather just move on.
And to top it off with more Wails from the Grave your Sneak Attack does 5d6 damage, and Wails from the Grave scales up to 3d6!
LEVEL 16 - ROGUE 10
Rogue is a fun class because you get an Ability Score Improvement at level 10. You can now invest in your Intelligence for more AC and better concentration while in Bladesong! And more spells is nice too.

LEVEL 17 - ROGUE 11
11th level Rogues get Reliable Talent which means I get to do the fun little thing where I list all the bare minimum rolls you can now get as a Rogue:
27 in Stealth
26 in Arcana and History
22 in Athletics and Acrobatics
17 in Persuasion
16 in Survival and Perception
And as an added bonus Sneak Attack now deals 6d6 damage!
LEVEL 18 - ROGUE 12
One last Ability Score Improvement means one last increase to Intelligence for capped-off spellcasting and AC while in Bladesong.
LEVEL 19 - ROGUE 13
Now Nilah can’t walk through walls... not currently anyways, but 13th level Phantom Rogues get Ghost Walk to walk through walls... and fly too because why not? And a hover? And all attack rolls have disadvantage against you? Wow, this overtuned ability that probably took 200 years of collective game design experience is perfect for Nilah! Especially since it lasts for 10 goddamn minutes and you can use it at any time with a Bonus Action if you have a Soul Trinket on hand.
Well at least your Sneak Attack does 7d6 now, which also means that Wails from the Grave does 4d6 due to how that ability scales upwards.
LEVEL 20 - WIZARD 7

Put bluntly Blindsense is bad, so if you hypothetically hit level 20 4th level spells are more useful overall.
Grab whatever you want; Evard’s Black Tentacles and Storm Sphere are good I guess. But we’re really just here for spell slots and better Arcane Recovery. Not like you’re going to hit level 20 anyways lmao.
FINAL BUILD
PROS
Conquer the foe before you, no matter how great - You do good damage, and notably fight well against multiple targets unlike most martials. You don’t even need that much magic to cut down swaths of foes!
No foe can match me! - You also have great survivability with tons of AC from Bladesong and mobility to spare, not to mention that using a whip lets you keep your distance and you have tons of aid for your Concentration checks to keep your spells up.
I slay foes the size of mountains! You were... fine, I guess - While you have some nice tricks at higher levels you can get by with your lower level spell slots quite well, meaning that you won’t have to worry about running out of steam too fast.
CONS
True happiness lies in the heart of battle; let us claim it! - If you’re playing Nilah “as intended” triggering Sneak Attack might be hard. Sure it becomes easier with allies around but hiding with a whip can be hard. Sorta a “meta” issue I won’t lie.
I exist in but a single moment - It’s tough for you to keep going on a long day, as your spell slots will run out over time and you won’t be getting Tokens of the Departed until level 15.
Master one evil, then destroy the rest - You are going to be a very squishy Fighter with d6 hit die for a very long time. Before you get your Rogue abilities you’ll have a tough time keeping Concentration, your damage output won’t be great, and worst of all your survivability is really going to suffer.
But you are an ADC after all and it takes some grinding to become powerful. Slay the greatest of foes and tell the greatest of tales with many great allies at your side! Even if you can take down armies it helps to let others in on your epic as well, less you be taken down by a bat.
