Matchup For Joey!

This is my second matchup so bare with me if things are wrong. For the most part, I hope you enjoy!

Hacker:Akudama Drive

The two of you met within a group mission, both being crucial parts that needed to work together, but Hacker wasn't for the idea of working along with someone else and worked on his own things in quiet. When the mission began going south, he started to realize that he was going to need to work together even if it was out of his comfort zone.

After a few hours, Hacker began to realize that you were pretty good at what you're doing and that your work was actually useful. Shocking to most, he chooses to stay connected after the mission just in case he needs help with something. But, secretly he wants to hang out more and he thinks that you're cute… you didn't hear that from me though.

Once a year passes by, Hacker finally gets the courage to ask you out on a date, now knowing a lot about you. His preferred date night is inside, maybe watching a movie or playing a new game together. Of course if you're interested in going out somewhere, he would find some way into getting a reservation (likely hacking into the resturants database and adding a reservation in) for an expensive dinner and then taking you out to see the stars.

Hacker's not into PDA, maybe if the two of you are dating for a while he'll start feeling more comfortable but for the most part he's keeping to himself.

I feel like both of your styles would go good together, especially some of the goth ones. Hacker wouldn't be into matching outfits, but he would try and wear something similar whether it be the color or the pattern. The two of you would share music back and forth with each other, possibly even have a shared playlist for all of your guys' music. He would play music and dance around the room when he got finished with a super hard code or mission, almost like a victory dance,

Hacker would act like he didn't care about your interests and the things you ramble about, but deep down he's making sure to hear every word and remember it

An average day between the two of you is hanging out in a dark room and working on things you both enjoy, Hacker would be working on some sort of code and would ask for some advice on how to make it better.

After some time being together, I feel like Hacker would open up about his thoughts about something else being out there and how he dreams of reaching it. From that point forward, he starts opening up more to you about his insecurities and the fear of nothing actually being out there.

Kouichi Shindou: HoriMiya

You met Kouichi from your mutual friend, Miyamura, who introduced the two of you in junior high school. You weren't sure how to feel about him, but that all changed when you got to see the side of him around Miyamura, sticking up for him and helping him become a better person. Some time had gone by and the two of you were now in high school, except the two of you didn't go to the same high school. He went to another school nearby in order to get his life set together, which you're happy about until the news of him repeating his second year went around. You made sure to never let him live it down.

Valentines had rolled around and Miyamura and you were on your way home when the sounds of girls squealing were heard nearby. Across from them, the ginger haired boy tried to leave the big crowds of girls who waited for him to accept their gifts.

Watching the interaction between the two, a new feeling bursted within as you stomped over through the crowd of people. Grabbing Kouichi's arm, you drag him away from the crowd bringing him to your dorm not sure what to do next. Talking, he begins to question why you brought him to your house and away from those people, in which you let split that you felt jealous and didn't want him to receive valentines from other people

Once the secret was revealed, the two of you agreed to go out with each other and soon enough a relationship was born.

Date nights with Kouichi are outside in calming areas where he can feel free to be himself without the screaming girls always behind him. He once took you to a flower field filled with all sorts of flowers, along with your favorite. The two of you then had a picnic and stared at the stars when nightfall hit embracing the comfort of each other.

Takashi Morinozuka: Ouran High School Host Club

You accidentally ran into them when the group was going to the market and Honey-senpal had gotten lost needing help to find his friend. Lucky for him, you happened to be there to help and with a little bit of searching the two of you found his friends who were panically searching for their friends.

Enjoying your company, Honey-senpai wanted to keep in touch and invite you to one of his many tea parties with all of his sweets. Accepting the invite, that was how you met the blonde's best friend, Mori-senpai.

You weren't sure about him not knowing much about him considering that he didn't talk much and preferred to listen, but he won you over when Tamaki was in one of his moods and was throwing pillows around the host club. He got so angry that he threw one extremely hard your way, but before it could hit you Mori-Senpai caught it, saving your life.

From then on, the two of you became closer and soon enough a date is arranged between the two of you, plus honey of course. All of you went to a dessert cafe and had a blast, especially honey who ended up having a stomach ache after leading to Mori carrying him home, but that allowed the two of you to have some time alone.

Your guys' relationship was good besides the constant girls from the host club, but Mori and the host club members always made sure to stick up for you when one of them tried to tear you down.

Your relationship is usually spent with Honey and the host club, but there are some small chances when the two of you get to be alone, but it doesn't happen much. When the two of you are together, Mori-senpai listens about your day and makes sure to note everything that's said when you're rambling. He's a good listener and can memorize anything your saying. You mention something you want? He's already planning to get it. You had a bad day? He's planning to make it better.

Definitely boyfriend material and father material, I mean we have seen the way he acts around Honey.

He is a very eccentric man, and he is really easy to befriend if you're someone who will put up with him! Though, I'll say it was a while before you could actually be next to him without wanting to hide away because yeesh one drop of attention and he clings.

Douma doesn't have hobbies of his own, rather, he just copies others so long as they are next to him. You want to draw? Let him talk and he'll draw with you! Gardening? Well it's cold up here but he'll help you build one at the bottom of the mountain if it means getting away from the cult for a bit!

Okay he is very dramatic, but he won't drag you into drama. He has so much tea to spill about his """coworkers""" and changes in the upper and lower moon rankings, he also complains that none of the other demons speak to him! Usually ends with him praising you for being such a good friend.

Really, really likes fashion and wearing things that stand out! A lot of your clothes are too small for him but anything loose he will try on, especially any accessories! He really likes whimsigoth styles which he picks up by picking some of your gyaru style with your scenemo style.

There's a spider? He's a bit playful, he will pick it up slowly, and then dangle it over his mouth and eat it. He finds it really funny how scared you are of something so small, but he will always get rid of it.

Affection was strange to him, he seems like the type of person to have grown up without much love or affection so when he got into a relationship, it was all new and unfamiliar to him. When the two of you began holding hands and becoming more of a couple, he would complain, but it would be less than usual and he would have a bright blush on his face.

1. Do they believe in true love?

She sure darn does, but she’s also the person that believes in the many varieties of love and that no one type of love is more important than the other. Your soul mate could be someone completely and strictly platonic to her, so true love could be the same.

2. Do they believe that their life has meaning?

She’s struggling a little bit with herself on this one.She used to think her life had no meaning at all, but after finding out she had some very important duties that humanity depended on she kinda couldn’t deny that it did. However, she believes the meaning of her life is limited to that - but if you tell her that her life has meaning to YOU it will make her soft and you should do it.

3. What first impression do they give when they first meet someone?

She has resting bitch face, tattoos all over her fingers and body, piercings in her ears and nose, and dresses like some alt nu goth witch. That said, most people walking by tend to avoid her unless it’s some guy trying to hit on her. 

However meeting someone that’s genuinely trying to talk to her or ask for help, they’ll find she’s very warm and friendly - lots of small smiles and she’ll check to make sure you need anything else before letting you go along your day. Easily a solid case of “Don’t judge a book by its cover”.

Yes, but it’s not her personal religious beliefs.

Ignorance/those who are unwilling to learn or adapt to change because they don’t agree with it, people who have a conversation only to reply and don’t really listen, people who are assholes just to seem “cool”, people who make excuses for everything and don’t take accountability for their actions, being treated like she can’t do anything right/by herself.

6. First kiss?

When she was twenty three with this still unnamed “ex” of hers that “loved” her enough to kiss her.......on rare occasions. Their first kiss was at a park fountain and what actually caused them to confess to each other, tho not “officially” date. 

7. What do they find funny that others usually don’t?

Honestly her sense of humor is so wide and varied it really depends. She’ll end up laughing in inappropriate times and can’t help herself, be it out of nerves or simply because it was funny when it shouldn’t have been.

8. Biggest regret?

Not going down when her father left the house that fateful day. Had she done so she may have been able to stop him and he’d be alive.

I personally feel like Neff has a lot of attractive features, but for the sake of this what SHE feels her most attractive feature is, is a tie between her eyes and her lips. She thinks both the shape and color of her eyes are appealing, and she likes her lip shape. (They’re very kissable and you should kiss them )

It really depends on the person. What she may find most attractive on one person may not be the case for another. In general terms, however, it’s either eyes or a smile.

She doesn’t really have one in particular, more like she has parts of every song she listens to that she vibes with the most.

“We all fuck up and we all hurt people, whether we mean to or not. What matters is how you handle it and how you learn from it. People can apologize all they want, but unless they actually act on it all it is is empty words. Make sure you do your best to act on those apologies.”

“Don’t be so depressed.”

15. What makes them cry?

A lot. Neff cried over things that make her super happy, she cries over things that make her super upset, she cries over things that make her sad. She just tries her best not to do it.

16. Hardest decision they ever had to make?

Breaking it off with her first love. She wanted so hard for things to work out, to have hope, and she knew that if she accepted things weren’t working out everything she did would have been for nothing. Making that decision put a LOT of negative views of herself in her head, but in the end it was best for her mental health.

17. What makes them fond of someone?

In general she just likes people who are nice to her and genuinely seem to want to talk to her and have her around. However if you REALLY want to win her over, it’s remembering small things. If you do something because you remember she said something about it once, or reference a conversation you had, it’s very touching to her. Knowing you listened to her when she spoke and shared information makes her take to you very easily.

Yes. She’s very big on ‘forgive but don’t forget’. If you mess up once and genuinely apologize she will forgive but keep in mind what was done. If you keep making the same mistakes over and over with no indication of changing, she’s done with it.

Ieuan Wyn Parry - Pron: YIGH-Unn (Rhymes with Ryan) - Win - Pa-ree

Ieuan is a welsh form of John, which just means 'God is gracious'. Wyn is a name variant of Gwyn, which means 'White'. Parry is a shortening of Ap Harry, which is an old Welsh patronym meaning 'Son of Harry'. None of this means much to their character, I just liked how it sounds.

2. What’s their date of birth? Do they follow the stereotypes of their zodiac?

Sixth of February. Is he stereo-typically Aquarius? Eccentric loner, awkward with emotions, independent to a fault, easily bored, intellectual but stupid, detests limitation. Yeah, I'd say so.

3. What type of drunk are they?

Giggly idiot. A bit more openly affectionate. Bad decision machine go brrr.

4. Give three of their strengths and three of their weaknesses.

Strengths: Imaginative problem solver, High INT, amiable. 

Weaknesses: Avoidant/independent and stubborn about it, Low WIS, selfish as shit. 

5. What’s their favourite food?

Aside from blood? They have a real sweet tooth, especially for berries.

6. If they were to be represented by a seven deadly sin, which would it be?

Pride. Idiot.

7. Do they have any living relatives? If they do, which one do they like the least and why?

They like to hope their mother offed herself, just so they wouldn't have to feel guilty about leaving her like that, but she is still alive. Everyone else in the immediate family is dead, so her by default. Maybe he has a cousin or something? 

8. Describe (or draw) their body type.

It changes, but can be defined as a very androgynous non-human. Their preference for height is around 5'7". They are very slight, their skin is thin on their bones as to maximise the appearance of their body modifications.

9. What’s their biggest fear?

They'd say mud and burial, but that’s mostly representative of being seconds away from wassail again. Frenzies they weren't expecting, or committing path sins will similarly drag this fear up. It's a fear of loss of control over their life, themself. Notice you barely see him angry?

10. Are they a dog or a cat person? Answered ic. ooc answer : 

They have a bit more experience with dogs, so that’s their preference. Their own energy is a bit kitten-ish, especially in warform. 

11. Describe them in 5 words.

Enthusiastic, curious, analytical, detached, reckless.

12. If your character was handed a puppy, how would they react?

13. How would they react to suddenly being hugged? Answered ic. ooc answer:

Depends whose doing it. They recently found out they are quite cuddly, but only with their favourite people. If passing acquaintances or even not so close friends tried it, their reaction would range from awkward stiffness to yanking you off of them with a firm grip around the spine. Don’t touch a fleshcrafter without permission. 

14. What’s their biggest secret?

They don't like discussing the specifics of their time as a fledgling, so a lot of that maybe. They won't tell people where their dirt comes from and they won't discuss what they did to their family. Similarly he worries about certain people catching on that most of the people they kidnap for  'materials' are regular innocents who just went for a walk in the woods, with no kind of moral justification. Or all of their motivations being primarily suicidal in nature?

15. What are their pet peeves?

Out of clan people making comments on vicissitude or trying to define it. Being asked questions that edge into the 'You should not teach' sin, because they don't like conflict and saying no. Similarly, random arguments. Dick measuring contests between vampires who think they're cool. And uhhhh. Clingy people. Unfortunately.

16. What’s their opinion on pineapple on pizza?

How long has it been since they've been able to eat? They still haven't tried pizza at all. No opinion.

17. On average, how much sleep do they get at a time?

The full vampire 12 hours. Less in the winter.

18. If they were a superhero, what powers would they have? (if they have powers, what are they and under what conditions do they work?)

Fleshcrafting isn't a very superhero-esque power, but that's what he's working with! We all know how VTM powers work here, folks.

19. Does your character collect anything?

TEETH. VCRs, toxic plants, frogs, notepads. Bodies? Does that count?

20. What would your character’s favourite band(s) be?

Mostly 80s goth bands. Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Sisters of Mercy, Fields of the Nephilim, UK Decay, that kind of thing. They got into a few NU metal bands during the 2000s, and nowadays they sometimes listen to whatever the youtube algorithm shows them, usually random indie bands. The Doom soundtrack. 

21. How many languages do they speak, and what are they?

Their first language was Welsh. They also speak English, and can read old ass Romanian, which doesn't come up much.

22. When your character is sad, what do they do to cheer themselves up? Answered ic. ooc answer:

Just ignore it. Or at least try to. They’ll go about their day like regular, except moping, and pretending they’re not. If it’s really bad, they’ll try to sleep it off, or indulge in some particularly gorey work. Recently they’ve discovered the cure all solution of Taking-A-GD-Bath. 

23. Does your character snore?

No. Vampire death-sleep.  

24. Describe their voice.

Sandy? Slightly nasal. Young-ish, heavily accented. Imagine an excited, 17 year old lad from the welsh countryside, who hasn't spoken all day till now so it's a little soft, or like he just woke up.

25. How long would they last in a zombie apocalypse?

Wait, there was an apocalypse? They wouldn't realise for a good while. They're good at surviving, keeping to themself. It would all fall to pieces if they were pushed out of their domain though, panicky animal mode would be Engaged.
