Kenobi incorrect quotes.
Obi-Wan: Don't get snippy with me, little one.
Leia, gets even snippier, sassier and feistier:
Obi-Wan, fondly reminiscing: Ahsoka, bless her treasured soul, would be so very proud of you, Snips.
Ahsoka, somehow eavesdropping through the Force: Love you too, Grandpa Obi-Wan.

Here is a little something I have written for a wip I may or may not follow through on. Figured I might as well share it today, just in time, in honour of it being the one year anniversary of the release of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The show that got me writing in this silly fandom, absolutely adoring the Obi-Wan and Leia dynamic together, and dunked me deep, deep, deep into Obidala feels.
Leia is too smart and perceptive a little girl not to figure it out.
Everything around him grew too quite. Like the woman—her birth mother—was something to be left unspoken of. Even the thought of her was made deathly silent. As if he didn't dare. And needed to keep it somewhere it couldn’t make a sound.
Leia ventured a guess as to why, “You loved her.”
Obi-Wan blinked, looking down at her, and with it came a soft ripple of emotion. The pause for his response grew overlong, like drawing in a deep breath and waiting to let it go.
Until he did. “She was someone very dear to me, yes.” He acknowledged, but inclined his head to avert his gaze from hers once he did, like the admission was something shameful to tell her. That he had no right to it.
Which actually helped Leia to make better sense of it.
“People usually feel lighter when they think of someone they care about, even if that person is gone. You just feel sad. Really, really sad. Like it’s this awful weight you have to carry around all the time,” she went on to explain, as if he needed to hear it, with all the simplicity that could only come from a child. An uncannily perceptive one, but a child all the same. “She makes your heart feel very heavy."
She then touched his wrist. A simple gesture meant to comfort before the truth of her words could soundly strike their chord; to reverberate between the two of them like the strings of an old, familiar and achingly haunting song.
“It makes you not like to think about her at all.”

Here's our fill for the square "Falling Asleep on Their Lap" :D
When on Daiyu to rescue Leia, Obi-Wan runs into a Sith hound, who seems strangely familiar. Which makes no sense because he's never seen one before. At first, he thinks the dog belongs to the Inquisitors, but now, it's determined to follow him and Leia around everywhere. He's beginning to think this may not be just a Tuk'ata.

The original trio has already seen so many horrors.
No matter how much Obi-Wan complains, Anakin would insist on telling his kids Obi-Wan is their grandpa.
