Wednesday

 “Alright guys, keep your focus. Another two percent,” the raid leader, Dean, better known in game as DWImpala, called over the voice chat. The only thing that could be heard over comms was the steady click-clack of key presses for spells and attacks. The numbers steadily decreased, chunks of the boss’s health falling off as the eighteen players gave their all.

The boss went down and everyone cheered, congratulating the lucky players who got loot and lamenting that they didn’t think the stupid horse existed since another week had gone by without a drop.

“Alright, I’m calling it here for the night,” he announced to his guild. “Next week we’re going to do a full clear, then go on raid break until we get new content.”

Players said their goodbyes and logged off the game and the voice server, leaving their officers alone.

“So, uh, I’m going to be out next week,” Scuttle announced. She was the healer lead and the few people who knew her well enough called her Y/N.

“Oh yeah? Hot date?” Demonfall, a DPS known as Ash, teased.

“Out of town for work, sadly,” she replied with a sigh.

“Anywhere fun, at least?” Dean questioned, disappointed that she’d be gone. She was great at her class, sure, but he’d also developed a bit of a crush on her.

“Not unless you count a tiny town in Kansas as fun,” she scoffed.

Dean’s heart skipped a beat when she said Kansas. He’d grown up there, hell, he still lived in Kansas. He knew the odds of her coming to his tiny town were slim. 

But if he were honest, he wasn’t even sure he wanted to meet her. His crush was probably nothing; he didn’t even know what she looked like. But she was an awesome person from what he could tell.

He was vaguely aware of continuing conversation between the other two people but he wasn’t paying attention. His mind had gotten lost in fantasies and what ifs, trying to come up with a reason to find out more about what she did and where she’d be just to get a glimpse of her. He knew it was creepy to manipulate the conversation for information. So he kept his mouth shut.

The sound of a user disconnecting snapped his attention back to the present, his heart falling at the thought that he’d lost his chance to talk to her more. But when he saw that they were the only two left in chat, his mouth went dry.

“De? You still there?” she asked.

“Oh, uh, y-yeah,” he stuttered and cleared his throat. “Sorry, I kinda zoned out after you mentioned you were coming to Kansas.”

“Coming to Kansas? Is that where you are?” she questioned eagerly, anxious to get some kind of information from the private man she had started to have feelings for.

“Yeah,” he confirmed, “Lawrence.”

“You’re kidding,” she deadpanned, unable to believe what she was hearing.

“Uh, no,” he replied, confusion evident in his voice.

“That’s where I’ll be. If you have some time one day, maybe, if you want, you can show me where to get a decent burger?” Her voice held a lightness, a hope that he’d accept.

“I’d love to,” he answered enthusiastically. She’d been the first one to ask. She actually wanted to meet him.

“Really?! I mean, I’m there all week so it’s whenever you’re free but that would be amazing,” she babbled.

“So when are you getting in?”

“Sunday evening. I’m driving down and should be there somewhere around 5 or 6,” she informed, doing the math in her head about what time she needed to leave and how long the drive was.

“Okay, well how about we meet up Sunday evening? I can take you out for a late dinner,” he offered. 

“That sounds great,” she agreed with a smile evident in her voice.

“Awesome. I’ll DM you my number and you can just text me when you’re close?” Dean suggested as he typed his cell into the chat box.

“I’ll text you from my phone so you can save my number, too. Just make sure your girlfriend knows who I am,” she chuckled.

“No girlfriend, sweetheart,” Dean clarified, “but you make sure your boyfriend is cool with it.”

“Yeah, about that,” she said softly, “we broke up two weeks ago.”

“What? Scuttle, why didn’t you say anything?” Dean scolded.

“I don’t know. I mean, it’s not like I was in love with the guy. So what if I caught him in his car with some redhead? It’s not a big deal.” Her voice contained a venom that Dean never wanted to be on the receiving end of.

“Where does this guy live?” Dean practically growled, anger at the man who treated her so badly burning in his chest. 

She laughed then, a sweet giggle that doused the fire and diverted his attention.

“I’m serious, sweetheart. Say the word and I’ll take care of him,” he repeated.

“That’s sweet, De. But I’m fine, really. It’s getting late, though, and I have to work tomorrow and pack. I’ll see you Sunday?”

“Five minutes more?” he pleaded.

“Five minutes,” she confirmed.

Sunday

Five minutes turned into an hour. That hour turned into texting back and forth over the next few days, nearly all day long, and talking every night for hours. By the time Sunday came around, Dean was sure that he was falling for her. 

As sure as Dean was that he was falling hard, so was she. Her ex had said that she cared more about that game and people she’d never met than him. In hindsight, he may not have been wrong. He was still a dick, though.

She texted Dean when she was leaving home and starting her drive. He smiled at his phone before slipping it back in his pocket and sliding back under his car, whistling as he worked. It was just a simple oil change and he was done in no time, deciding to wash and detail the car while he had time. 

He sang along to Metallica as he dried the water, not realizing that he had a smile on his face until Benny walked over from next door.

“Wha’s gaht yah smilin’ like dat?” he teased in his thick Cajun accent.

“Nothing. I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Dean quickly denied.

“Who’z dah guhl?” 

“What girl?”

Benny fixed him with a look, letting him know that he wasn’t buying it. Dean sighed and Benny smirked, knowing that he’d won that battle.

“Okay, so you know how I’ve told you about that girl I game with, Scuttle?” Dean started.

“Oh yeah, tha one you sweet on,” Benny replied.

“I’m not five, Benny. I’m not ‘sweet’ on her.” Dean rolled his eyes and Benny laughed before Dean continued. “Anyway, she’s coming to town for work and I’m taking her to dinner tonight.”

“You gonna tell Cher yah like her?” 

“No. I mean, I don’t really even know her. She doesn’t even know me. And she just broke up with her boyfriend because she caught him cheating on her.” Dean returned to his work polishing the chrome trim on his car, pretending to ignore his friend standing behind him.

“Dean, she jus’ broke up wit’ her boyfriend. Don’ you think’ tha’ you should say somethin’ before some otha man does?” Benny chided as he shifted to see Dean’s face instead of the back of his head. “Girl like dat won’ be lonely long, brotha.”

“Jesus, Benny. Can’t I meet the girl before you give me the speech?” Dean whined as he stood up, his phone pinging in his pocket. He pulled it out without breaking eye contact with his friend, then looked down to see a message from her. He opened his phone quickly, finding a picture of a sign advertising Lebanon, Center of the Continental United States - 50 miles.

“How long?” Benny asked, not giving any other context.

“About an hour,” Dean replied without thinking, typing out a message and slipping his phone back in his pocket. He cringed when he realized what Benny had asked and saw the smug look on his friend’s face.

“Ah’m gonna go. See yah at work tomorrah. Gonna wanna hear all ‘bout th’date.” Benny strode away to his yard, leaving Dean to finish up the car and get ready to go out.

She texted Dean once she’d checked in and told him where she was. When he responded that he was on his way, her palms started sweating and her heart started pounding. She tried taking deep, calming breaths but nothing was helping the nerves.

A knock sounded on the door and she froze, panicked that he was already at the hotel. She was second guessing everything from her wardrobe to her hair to even meeting up with him. Another knock echoed through the room and she moved towards the door automatically, taking a deep breath as she turned the knob and pulled the door open.

Her breath caught in her chest when she laid eyes on him for the first time. There had to have been a mistake. There's no way this is…"Dean?" she asked as she met his gaze.

"Yeah," he confirmed with a wide grin. "It's nice to meet you, Y/N."

“Wow, I…you look nothing like I pictured,” she blurted out, quickly following up with “that’s not a bad thing! I just didn’t expect…you know…a model.”

He chuckled at her candor, ducking his head while the tips of his ears turned red. “You flatter me, sweetheart, but you’re the one who could be a model. I knew you’d be gorgeous but I didn’t expect to have the wind knocked out of me.”

“That’s sweet, De,” she giggled. “Do you want to come in? Five minutes and I’ll be ready,” she told him as she backed into the room.

“Yeah, five minutes. No problem,” he replied.

Dean took her to a small diner where they had burgers and pie, laughing and talking until they were the only two people left in the restaurant.  It was still early so they opted for a ride around town with the windows down, the cooling air blowing around in their hair as Dean drove down quiet roads.

He kept stealing glances at her, drawn to the way the moonlight surrounded her in an ethereal light, making her glow. He pulled down a dirt road and turned off the headlights, letting the full moon be his guide. 

“Is this where you kill and bury me?” she joked as he parked the car.

“Nah,” he chuckled, “this here is the best part of Lawrence.”

Dean stepped out of the car and walked around to her side, opening the door and offering his hand to help her out of the car. He kept a hold on it as he started to walk through the trees ahead of them.

She followed him quietly, trusting him completely. They stepped through the trees and she gasped at the sight before her. 

Inside a quiet clearing was a small pond, barely big enough for a boat to float comfortably.  Moonlight reflected off of the water, sparkling as the small waves moved in the breeze. A little dock led to a small gazebo over the water. 

Dean took her to the gazebo and she looked around in awe; the roof was made of a clear material, allowing her to see the stars shining in the sky. Thick benches lined the walls of the wooden structure, a waist-high railing surrounding the edge, the rest of the space open, allowing the cool breeze of the night to pass through.

Dean watched as she took in the space, her eyes wide and her jaw slack. He knew this was the right spot. It’s where his brother took his wife for their first date, where Benny took his fiancee’, where his parents had their first date. The hope that something could bloom here lifted his heart and drove out the nagging thoughts of her leaving again. 

She turned around to face Dean, finding him standing next to a pile of blankets and pillows that she was sure hadn’t been laid out when they got there. He reached out his hand and she accepted it, following his lead and settling into the soft mountain to watch the stars. 

As the pair talked and laughed, they drifted closer to one another, lying on their sides facing each other when Y/N started to yawn.

“We should get you back to the hotel,” Dean told her quietly.

“No, no, I’m fine,” she insisted. “Five minutes more.”

“Five minutes then we head back,” he promised.

“Five minutes.”

Monday

Dean woke to sunlight streaming in his face and a heavy warmth across his chest. He stretched, thinking he was in his bed, only to be met with wooden planks surrounding him. Memories of last night came flooding back and his eyes fluttered open to find Y/N sleeping soundly on his chest, still in the gazebo over the small pond. 

His gaze had found a home on her peaceful face and he stared unabashedly, counting the barely there freckles across her cheekbones, admiring the way her lashes brushed her cheeks, resisting the urge to trace the soft lines around her mouth and eyes. She began to stir and cuddled closer to him. 

Dean prayed she couldn’t tell how fast his heart was beating beneath her ear in her half-awake state. His arm tightened around her, holding her close. He closed his eyes and wished for time to stop, to be able to stay in this moment forever. His hopes were dashed when his phone started vibrating in his pocket, the alarm he had set for work blaring through the silence.

Scuttle groaned and swiped towards the sound while Dean fished in his pocket for the offending device. He turned it off and gave his attention back to her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

“Hey, sweetheart, it’s time to wake up,” he coaxed, his hand trailing up the arm tossed over his chest.

“Noo, five more minutes,” she mumbled as she wiggled next to him.

“Five more minutes,” he agreed quietly, a soft smile gracing his face, the possibilities of the upcoming week shrinking under the impending end of their fling. He would enjoy the next five minutes of her in his arms as if it were the last.

I have! However, it's for a multichap i'm sadly not picking back up again :[ if anyone's interested in it, i may post more, but know that the chances of it being revived are slim to none . i wrote this with @casuallywritingandhyperfixating with the help of @wisepuma23 :]

so yeah! if enough people ask for it then i think i can post the chapters we've written (5... or 4 and a half) so it doesn't go to waste, just not on ao3. anyway, gem and skizz scene under the cut!

Once Skizz gets properly dressed and ready to socialize, he heads out and makes his way to Gem’s place. It’s a cute cottage, luckily not too far from them, with a small stable next to it. Tall, light-speckled trees hang over it, creeping vines going up the side of the house. Overgrown berry bushes frame the outside, just the right amount of wild— but Skizz is pretty sure all the greenery is a style choice. 

The berry bushes are smart, though, good at keeping mobs away. Brains and brawn, indeed.

Skizz steps up to the door, anxiety swirling in his stomach. Gem was going to indirectly make this decision for him, and he didn’t know if he hoped for a no or a yes. 

He knocks. Barking comes from inside in response, then footsteps. 

The door opens, and Skizz waves, “Hey, Gem!” Her eyes go wide, a giggle on her lips as he opens his arms for a hug, “How are ya?”

She accepts it easily, giving him a squeeze. “Hey, Skizz!” She chirps, “I’ve been doing good, how–” More barking cuts her off, and she looks over her shoulder into the house, “Hush, Winnie, it’s just Skizz!” 

The dog barks a couple more times, then stops. Gem turns back to Skizz, grinning sheepishly, “Sorry about that.” 

Skizz shakes his head, “Oh, don’t worry about it. I’m sorry to bother you on the weekend.” 

Gem steps back, waving a hand as she replies, “It’s alright! How can I help you?” She holds the door open, “Come in! We can talk inside.” 

Skizz follows her in, taking a seat on one of her couches. The living room is a cozy, warm space, beautifully decorated… Though maybe he could make do without some of the animal heads.

(Gem’s awesome, really. Gem is great. Just uh… What’s her deal with beheading things?)

Skizz tears his eyes away. Above the fireplace sits a large, heavy-looking iron sword. He doesn’t need magic to tell it’s enchanted– it shimmers as he looks at it, thrumming with power.

She sits on the other, looking at him expectantly. Ah, right.

Here goes nothing.

“I received a letter,” Skizz says cautiously, “And I might need to go somewhere. I haven’t decided yet, though. It’s a week or two just to get there, and I don’t know how long I’ll stay.” He pauses, gauging her reaction. “And if I do go, I need someone to take care of the village.” 

“And I’m the candidate to fill that role?” Gem guesses. 

Skizz nods. “You’re… the only other skilled healer, even if it’s only been a few months. I was wondering if you’d be willing to take my place for a bit, dude.” 

A few moments pass, each second making his anxiety ratchet up like crazy–

“Okay,” Gem says, making him blink. “Yeah, yeah, I think I could do that,” She adds. “I mean, I know how to do all the day-to-day stuff, and you’ve taught me well.” 

“Are you sure?” Skizz asks, honestly a little baffled. He’d thought it’d take a bit more than that— “It’ll be a lot more work, and if anyone calls on you for an emergency, you have to be prepared.” 

Gem is nodding before he finishes. “I know, Skizz,” She replies, smiling. Gods bless her, “I got this! I’ve… kinda been wanting a chance to really test myself, you know? Not that I want anything to happen, just… I’m here if you need me to step up.” 

Skizz chuckles. “Alright! Well, this is that chance, for sure. If you do come across anything you don’t understand, especially magic-wise, feel free to drop by and borrow some of my books. Joker will still be home, he can point you to the ones you need. You can use my office too!” He pauses, then, “Uh… don’t worry about the paperwork. I’ll get to that someday. Oh, and—” 

“Skizz!” Gem laughs, putting a hand on his arm. “It’s okay. I can do this.” 

Skizz relaxes, laughing with her. “Thanks, Gem. This helps a lot.” 

“Of course! I’ll make sure everyone here is nice and healthy, don’t worry,” Gem assures him. 

Skizz smiles. She’ll make a perfect cleric. 

“Okay! Yeah, I think I’m good!” Gem tells him, “I’ll go over the supplies this afternoon, so you don’t need to worry about that, either.” Skizz nods and stands, stepping towards the door.

Gem follows, waving him goodbye as she says, “Be safe out there, Skizz. And enjoy your trip!” 

“Seriously dude, thanks,” Skizz says, giving her a smile as she closes the door. His heart clenches as he walks away. 

Enjoy your trip. 

He’d try, there was bound to be a lot of new scenery, with that long of a travel. But… Something tells him it’s not gonna be all butterflies and roses. 

Something twists and writhes in his chest, anxiety bubbling in his veins. Skizz steels himself, letting out a breath.

“Of course it’s not gonna be easy,” Skizz mutters to himself, rolling his shoulders, shaking his head. “But you know what? You know what?”

He furrows his brow, “I can take it. Whatever happens, I can take it.”

I mean, come on, Skizz thinks, eyes trained forward. It’s not like I’ve lived this long and learned nothin’!

And then, quieter, it would’ve haunted me anyway, if I didn’t go. The last thing I need is another regret.

The anxiety doesn’t fade, not by a long shot. But as Skizz trudges back home, he finds it isn’t enough to stop him, worries and what-ifs be damned. A small smile tugs at his lips.

He’s always been pretty stubborn, huh?

My main team consists of Tighnari as main DPS, raiden as sub DPS, Venti as cc and zhongli for shields and being my favourite.

I dropped my xiao some time ago because I want to have fun with as many characters as I can, but i still use him in the abyss (I mean, he is almost triple crowned, only his normal attack is on level 8). Although I still feel guilty for leaving him, diluc, Barbara and kaeya behind, but I want to have fun with new characters as well and dendro reactions

(oh dear, I hope xiao don't hate himself for that, poor baby)

I pulled for tighnari on his banner and build him almost immediately, so foxboy knows he is loved. He also has only 5 star weapon on the main team (thundering pulse that I got by accident). He surely knows that he has better fate than cyno, that I got by accident when I was pulling for some four star on his banner. Cyno is level 50 with two star artifacts just like my qiqi, because I don't have any other use for him. But still, I had to get into hard pity for raiden and now I don't have much left for alhaitham, and I feel like he has something to do with it.

Raiden was build to level 60 in a single day, now being close to 80, with burst on level 9 and maxed out catch on the start. I also put her on my team after I got her (was using Fischl/Keqing as placeholders). Since she is my newest addition that I use more than others to test her and for fun, that might be a reason to panic for others I guess.

Venti is the most replaceable on my team. It sounds brutal and all, but he is on that third slot where I switch to low leveled characters (currently my level 40 beidou) to level up their friendship level. I like his crowd control, but for the reactions my kazuha/Fischl duo is way better. And I think he knows that, as he is being switched the most

Zhongli, my dearest. He is loved alright. I wanted to go for the staff of homa for him, but hutao and yelan look too good to pass. He has the meteor crowned, and shield close behind. I even leveled up his normal attacks when I wanted to make him a physical DPS (yes, I tried). Now he is a hybrid with 28k hp and 60/180 crit/dmg ratio. And I use him on almost every team, no matter who I want to use, he is usually there, in his 4th slot that I use for healers/shielders. Although I feel like he would be jealous of how quickly I level up new additions. But I did had to spend money on him, because he sent qiqi my way.

tighnari be like "who are all these alarmingly powerful people" lmao-

samee i've been playing around with different characters (also bc i want to increase them friendship levels) but xiao is my go-to dps too, he's THE goat in my squad. my golden child <3

so far i only have xiao and zhongli triple-crowned. al haitham's gonna be triple crowned too once i manage to farm for the new materials haha i've been quite lucky with the mirrors, so fingers crossed he can be triple-crowned soon!!

when will tighnari come home i want his passive skill so much sobsob

kazuha is so good as cc and exploration in general, i love him hehe definitely money well-spent!

zhongli has a permanent spot on my team lmao he's a hybrid so i enjoy witching between having him as shielder or dps! he was mean about coming home for me too lol he also sent our granddaughter qiqi my way and persisted until close to 80 pity.... thank god his banner wasn't recent, otherwise i would have to explain said spending for the house loan review lmao still, did not regret pulling for him nonetheless <3

Chapter 11 Part 4: Most Righteous Fury

Last turn was just a lot of eliminating weak monsters, but at the beginning of this next turn, yet another ship appears.

"The servant of righteousness and order, L'Arachel has arrived!"

"Hm? I don't hear Rennac's voice. That's strange..."

"He was with us when we got a meal before boarding the ship..."

(lol, Rennac dipped)

"Regardless, let's eliminate those evil abominations!"

And here are our recruitable units for this map. They appear all the way to the right, so that is one of the reasons why I was pressing over in that direction.

Ephraim needs to get to L'Arachel to talk to her first.

L'Arachel's name actually looks more like "Lah-chel" in Japanese. Maybe even "Rachel"?

Since L'Arachel announced she was going to destroy the wicked monsters, let's see what overpowered weapons she brou--

Oh.

Well, maybe she can defeat them with money since she has a white gem. Are monsters weak to money? (The answer is "yes", just look at politicians! Thank you, I'm here all week!)

Also, while it's awesome that L'Arachel has a horse, it's a cruel joke that they give you your horse healer so late in this game, and then on top of that, she shows up at level 3???

Dozla, on the other hand, is a pre-promote Berserker with a powerful axe. He can keep L'Arachel safe for a bit if you don't get to her right away.

Oh, and aside from the new ship with new allies to the right, we also have an enemy appearing to the left here, a sign of more to come.

I want Ephraim to get over to the right ship ASAP, so I have Seth clear out the skeleton (probably a Hell Bone) in the way.

Then Neimi gets rid of the mummy in the way and gets a level with 2 of her most important stats.

This lets Ephraim start moving right. He can't reach L'Arachel this turn, so he destroys this gargoyle while he's at it. The thing can fly around and hit whomever it wants, so I want it gone.

On the bottom, I have Tana take out this skeleton.

...And Cormag gets this other one.

Then, I start thinking about what to do up top. There's another gargoyle up there, and like I said before, I don't like that they can fly around freely, so I would love to get rid of it if I can.

I consider Franz for the job, but he doesn't have enough speed to double...

I also need these skeletons out of the way, so Moulder heals Ross up and Ross moves to the right to take out this skeleton weighed down by a steel lance.

I consider Franz's two options. He can outright finish off the skeleton, but then I only have Duessel in range of the gargoyle, and he won't double it and finish it off.

On the other hand, the skeleton is not very strong, and its movement is limited by terrain, so I think I'd still rather take out the gargoyle and leave the skeleton for now.

So Franz attacks the gargoyle to weaken it, and then Duessel moves around the skeleton to...

...leave the gargoyle at 1 HP. Crap. I should've mathed more.

I made kind of dumb decision here I think. I'm pretty sure Duessel could have taken out the skeleton, so once I realized I couldn't take out the gargoyle, maybe I should have done that. But I still attacked the gargoyle and left it at 1 HP, so instead of one enemy attacking during enemy phase, I allowed two to attack.

But I luck out and the skeleton and gargoyle split up their attacks, with the skeleton going for Neimi, and the gargoyle for Moulder.

I actually went back and looked at the math just now, and I think Moulder could have survived even if both enemies attacked him anyway.

He has 5 defense, the same as Neimi, so the skeleton would have only done 8 damage to him too. I saw in a later photo that he had 14 HP left after the gargoyle's attack, so even if both enemies had attacked him, he would have been at 6 HP.

Sacred Stones normal mode does not punish you very hard for your mistakes.

And after enemy phase is done, Dozla destroys a gargoyle during allied phase.

So when I said L'Arachel showed up with no weapons, I was wrong. Dozla is her weapon.

-Around many people, she’s not very soft or kind. She only was soft towards the Harbingers in private. She definitely had a softer spot for you, though. She wont show it much in public, but in private she will be the best big sister.

-You had a bad day? She will shower you with affection- She’ll get you gifts, and give you money. But You’ll refuse the money since you literally both have the same job??

-She’ll offer to take you shopping but the last time you were feeling sad, she literally bought everything in 5 stores just to make you feel better and now you have more than 50 plushies in your room.

-So, you ask if you can both just stay inside. You would go on a walk with her but this was Snezhnaya and you’d rather not freeze to death while just trying to spend time with her.

-She’ll make you both some hot chocolate, get snacks, popcorn and the reason for her grabbing all of that is because movie night cuz movie night is awesome.

-I don’t see her as the type of person to train much unless it was necessary. She would teach you new techniques though and whenever you're training with Childe or Scaramouche, she’ll watch from afar and be the proud big sister.

-If you want to spend time with her in a calm manner, then you’ll both definitely go for tea. I see her as the type of person to know every tea that exists in Teyvat.

-If you ever get hurt, all her walls will break down. She won’t cry or anything, but she will panic a lot. She won’t care that you're both around the other Harbingers once you’re okay, she will immediately be soft around you.

-If you’re still hurt she will force you to rest while another Harbinger or Agent gets a healer.

-If you have long hair, she’ll definitely braid it and play with it. Short hair? She’ll comb/brush it.

-You’ll also brush her hair and help her style it.

-Ruin her hair? She’ll ignore you for a week. Never get food in her hair/start a food fight with her.

-And also NEVER ruin her clothes.

Scaramouche

-He’s the same as Signora.

-He’s surprised to see someone so young, but instead of Signora, he doesn’t really care about it.

-He will definitely be a tad softer towards you but not as soft as Signora is when in private.

-Though, when you get hurt/have a bad day he’s gonna be a little bit soft.

-His version of soft is just not being mean to you as much as he usually is.

-He isn’t very good at comfort, so don’t expect as many gifts you get from Signora.

-He has his own version of comfort. If a guy/girl broke up with you, he’d say:

-”You’re really gonna cry over them? They don’t deserve you- You’re a lot better than them. I’m sure there’s someone who’s way better than them out there. You don’t need a low-level person like them.”

-If you really do need it, then of course he’ll give you a hug but only for 5 seconds.

-He will absolutely find whoever broke your heart. If they’re a guy then OH they better watch out. If they’re a girl then he’ll get Signora.

-If you’re ever interested, he’ll tell you everything he knows about Inazuma. He will, of course, talk shit about the Raiden Shogun.

-If you show interest in it’s fashion and culture, he will definitely sneak back into Inazuma since he does it all the time and get you everything he can find there. Clothes, souvenirs, etc.

-He might even get you the hat he has.

-When he comes back and you see that all of that stuff is for you, you will hug him for more than 5 seconds.

-He will obviously say “It’s been 5 seconds” if you don’t let go, but he also won’t let go because he likes it.

-He’s touch starved oKAY.

-Please just give him hugs, he needs them.

-When baking, if he catches you eating some of the chocolate chips, he will use his Electro Vision on your hand- Not in a painful way, though. More in a ticklish way.

-He might even eat one too.

-I feel like he also knows a lot about Tea- seeing as Inazuma has a lot of tea house’s- Such as Komore Teahouse (?). So, he will either get tea with you or just make some if you’re not feeling like going out in the cold of Snezhnaya.

-When you get hurt, he’ll panic a little and find a healer immediately. He won’t stay by your side the entire time though- instead, he goes to find the treasure hoarders who hurt you and electrocutes them all.

Childe

-The moment he sees how young you are, his big brother instincts will kick in.

-You were so small and adorable!! Though, aside from all the cooing, he was a little worried for you. You reminded him of how young he was when he first joined.

-Because of that- this man will not leave you alone. He says it’s too protect you, despite being able to protect yourself.

-He knows you can protect yourself! You just remind him too much of your siblings.

-Though, if it really does start to get annoying, he will stop.

-Will train with you all the time and teach you new techniques.

-He’s worse than Signora when it comes to gifts.

-When he’s getting gifts/souvenirs for his siblings, he will immediately think of you and buy you EVERYTHING in every store he can find.

-You tell him that you don’t need that many gifts, but he says “nonsense” and KEEPS buying you gifts.

-You were grateful, but it did become a little too much.

-He’s very soft towards you. Doesn’t matter if it’s in public or private, get ready to be hugged a lot.

-He already considers you as family, and even sometimes refers to you as his little sibling.

-He’ll even introduce you to his siblings!

-If you ever get hurt, it breaks his heart at how you look: Bruised up and bloody.

-You were his family and he couldn’t protect you: It’s why he’s ALWAYS by your side- to protect you.

-He’ll be hesitant to leave your side once a healer comes, but he has to so he can kill whoever hurt you.

-Almost every camp of treasure hoarders is wiped out by the next day.

-When he catches you eating the chocolate chips while baking, he will eat them with you- to the point where he has to go buy more chocolate chips.

-Doesn’t know much about tea, so he will probably ask Zhongli whenever the two of you’re in Liyue and he’ll take you both to a teahouse.

-All in all, he, Scaramouche and Signora love you very much. You're their family.

it’s the ba sing se bimbos, back again (jinjetsongko). here’s some stupid stunts these ridiculous kids would pull:

mixing the dangerous herbs and serums song and her mother have. they all get accidentally high one day. fortunately they do it at zuko’s apartment, so when iroh comes home and finds them tripping he just gives them calming tea and amuses himself by asking them philosophical questions.

“what is the meaning of life?” iroh asks them. “fruit pies,” song says very seriously. “FREEDOM!!” jet roars. “being the sexiest person in the room at all times,” jin says. zuko says nothing, because he’s too busy crying and hugging iroh and telling him he loves him.

“what do you think the meaning of life is, mushi?” song asks. “life is what you make of it,” iroh tells them. “personally, i find meaning in doing what i love, and spending time with the people i love. this evening, for example, is very meaningful to me.”

of course, since none of them have fathers, they all join zuko in crying and telling iroh they love him.

at some point, jin adopts a wild injured pygmy puma, who she calls sho, and is furious that he takes an immediate liking to zuko over her.

sho becomes their mascot, and also a fat lazy house cat since they all pamper him endlessly, but one day he goes missing.

they track him down to a butcher shop (similar to the one momo almost got chopped up in), release all the live animals, and somehow manage to set a fire in the process. song and jet assume between the grease and the heat and the commotion, it was bound to happen. but jin caught zuko’s look of rage when he saw sho crying in a cage. she knows who started the fire.

she’s not a snitch, though, and obviously she’s glad to have her pet back, so jin just keeps up the whole grease fire thing. plus, zuko’s such an awkward dweeb that she figures he really needs his some kind of deep dark secret to stay even A Little Bit Cool, so she lets him have it.

they don’t really stir the attention of the dai li since they mostly cause (and sometimes solve) problems in the lower ring, and while zuko and song are happy to fly under the radar, this just infuriates jet and jin. they want attention, damn it!

so they end up planning increasingly ridiculous heists in the upper ring. jewelry store underpaying their laborers? robbed and tagged as a scam. fancy government official is selling secrets to the fire nation? so sad, too bad, the guy goes missing but he leaves a chopped-off finger behind. children are being stolen and sold to wealthy buyers in the upper ring, eager to show off their “rescued” babies? the whole thing is exposed and kids are reunited with their families.

somehow, they still only barely get the dai li’s attention (probably because they’re too busy keeping tabs on the avatar). zuko has a talk with jet about thinking things through. this is the only thing that gets jin and jet to chill out because ZUKO using words like “irrational” and “risky” seriously is the wake-up call of the century.

(at this point, i could see the story going one of two ways: 1. life continues as normal for the friends, and jet learns his lesson, or 2. jin backs off but jet continues to go bigger and more extreme until he gets kidnapped by the dai li. he thinks he has a plan, until he gets brainwashed.)

(song, zuko, and jin notice primarily because he disappears for a bit. this isn’t unheard of, but as the days creep into a week they get worried. when he comes back, he’s just...weird. it’s definitely worth investigating. song and her mother use some herbal medicine to clear jet’s mind, and discover just how sinister the dai li is. obviously, they have to get revenge and figure out what’s going on. maybe they even run across a certain lost bison on their trip to lake laogai.)

other (happier) shenigans include: visiting the zoo and all of them being soft for the animals, accidentally starting a self-defense club for kids in the lower ring, and separately meeting different members of the gaang.

song meets katara while they’re both out at the market, and, in proper teenage girl fashion, they compliment each other’s outfits. they chat by the fruit for a while, song mentions how dealing with teenage boys can be annoying and katara’s just like tell me about it! then katara mentions she’s a healer, and obviously she and song geek out over techniques and medicines they can both use to supplement their efforts in the future. it’s a very wholesome encounter.

jin meets sokka and flirts her butt off. he’s funny and cute and a little awkward, but he tells her he’s got a thing with another girl. jin tells him she’s very lucky, and he says “actually, i’m the lucky one, she’s the leader of the kyoshi warriors!” and jin just flips out. the kyoshi warriors are her heroes. she used to want to run away and join them. holy shit dude DO YOU KNOW HOW COOL YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS??? and sokka’s just like i know! she’s amazing! and they spend half an hour talking about suki.

zuko meets toph, who vaguely recognizes his voice, but never really got an explanation about who he was, and since his uncle’s really cool, she doesn’t really care about the incident in the ghost town. zuko was so distraught over iroh at the time that he had barely even noticed toph (plus, even if she does look kind of familiar, that extremely powerful earthbender couldn’t have been a 12-year-old blind girl, right? right??) she compliment iroh’s tea-making ability, but admits she doesn’t really get the art herself.

“thank you!” zuko says, because someone else gets it - it’s just tea! then he blushes a little at his outburst and gets back to work. she chats with iroh some more before thanking him for the tea and leaving, and zuko lowkey thinks she’s really funny, and as she leaves she says “it was nice to see you again, mushi! well. hear you. i can’t see anything.” and zuko cracks up in spite of himself. (once zuko joins team avatar, their disaster-rich-kid-solidarity comes out in full force).

jet meets aang (again) but it’s via the graffiti he paints on the walls of the upper ring. it says stuff like “division is oppression” and “mr. earth king, tear down this wall!” and aang replies whole-heartedly, with something like “that’s what i’ve been saying! also this place is weird. have you lived here long? i’m aang bumi. i am called bumi. after the famous king. not the earth king. the other one. most importantly, i am not related to the avatar at all.”

i imagine sokka helped him write it, and since we all know they go into Stupid Mode when they’re together there’s a lot of crossed-out lines and rewrites.

jet responds by talking at length about the “resistance”, and aang’s just like “oh cool! power to the people! but also peace and love!” and jet thinks it’s dorky but he also is like “oh my god this kid is so stupid. when i find this idiot child i am going to teach him to about the revolution and then i’m going to protect him with my life.”

i like to think they all join team avatar, eventually, but the first meeting is just:

katara: song! why are you with zuko?

song: zuko? no, this is jet.

sokka: no, that’s jet! THATS zuko! he’s the prince of the fire nation!

jin, knowing full well zuko’s a firebender and suddenly panicking: he’s the what

jet: you think LEE is the prince of the fire nation? he couldn’t even lead this friend group.

i saw that you play genshin impact, so i’m kind of curious... what’d be the axis and allies’ vision and weapons?

Uh oh...now you got me started. Be warned, it’s a long one cause I have no self control

Some key terms for those who don’t play genshin impact and want to be included!!

Cryo -> ice, Hydro -> water, Dendro -> nature, Geo -> rock, Pyro -> fire, Electro -> lightning

Hilichurls: a common enemy found in the wild. Despite looking like hairy trolls, they have a district language as well as texts, art and song that they share together making them an advanced species!

Ruin guards: another enemy. Giant, scary robot...they scare me...

Knights of Favonious: an organization of knights within Mondstat that keep order and peace :) very nice guys and gals over there!!

Mondstat: modeled after Germany

Liyue: modeled after China

Alfred: pyro, claymore, Springvale Mondstat

Alfred would be a super heavy hitter in battle but his drawbacks are that despite his energetic nature, he’s slower because of the weight of his weapon

He blows stuff up a lot and sets all of the grass around you on fire so if you fight with him...His teammates will take damage from him Jeez Louise!!!

Since we don’t have all of the nations of Teyvay unlocked, I don’t know where he’d be from! I’d have to explore to get a sense for it so for characters that don’t have a place on the map yet, I’ll mark them with an asterisk from now on! :)

Idk where he lives but I do know that he’d be a devoted member of the adventurers guild! He’s always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need! Wether it be helping Granny Ann make hash browns or taking comissions to go kill a huge ruin guard who’s terrorizing the town!! He’s always leaping into new jobs! He isn’t even in it for the money or rewards! He just loves helping out!

Arthur: Dendro, archer, Mondstat

Artie is a beast in battle! Shooting vine Aries at enemies to tie them up or temporarily blind them??? Sick as fuck. Keep in mind, Genshin doesn’t have any Dendro characters that are playable yet so idk how they’d fight but I think I can guess :)

Artie is technically part of the knights of favonious because he works in their library. He translates books written in ancient texts into the standard language so historians and others can read what the old civilizations had to say

Instead of having normal eyes, they’re slit like snake eyes. And he has leaves instead of hair :)

He has a little seelie that floats around at his side. He talks to it but it doesn’t really do anything but provide company to a lonely guy :’) he needs more friends

Matthew: Anemo, catalyst, *

It’s always good to have a catalyst on your team! Ningguang is a great example of an underestimated catalyst cause she can do INSANE damage man!! So I think Mattie would be the same way

Matt isn’t violent and doesn’t enjoy fighting so his in-game voice lines would say that lol

Mattie is an alchemist! Well...A student alchemist. He didn’t take up an interest in alchemy until like, 3 years ago so he’s got a lot to catch up on still! He’s doing his best!

He gets very annoyed with Alfred since Mattie is detail oriented and gentle...Alfred is not any of those things. But he still loves his brother and on rare occasions, he’ll assist him with his commissions

Ivan: Cryo, catalyst, Liyue(temporary)

Ivan would be a support character for sure but he’d do a damn good job of doing it

He’s buff but he doesn’t do hand to hand combat, he’s mastered magic for a reason

Ivan spends most of his time studying hilichurls. He writes books about them, translates their texts and acts as a peace keeper when he can. He gets information from them about the Abyss Order in return for free reign of small portions of protected land where they can live without fear of being killed

Because he’s from Schneznya(spelling?) he’s kinda expected to be a bad guy but he left a long time ago. But he still sounds like he’s from there and...He’s super pale too so there really is no mistaking where he’s from

Ivan can’t stand how ignorant humans are towards hilichurls so he does everything he can to advocate for them. He’s covered in scars from when he first started engaging with the beasts. A huge scar runs down his face but he doesn’t mind it

He’s got big, sharp teeth!! So he doesn’t often smile cause he thinks he looks weird

Francis: Hyrdo, long sword, *

Fran is underestimated when it comes to combat (like Kaeya...I see you slandering this man) but he has so much potential!

Since he’s a hydro, he is so useful for elemental reactions! If he’s paired with a cryo or pyro user, he’d totally boost them!!

Fran is a traveling entertainer, he goes between the 7 nations as a singer and actor for small stage plays. He has a crew of friends who travel with him, they’re one jolly bunch!

He always acts all nonchalant and stuff but once he’s in a battle, he’s wild. Especially if the abyss order holds up his crew on their way to their next tour destination “We need to be in Liyue Harbor in four hours you are NOT holding us back!” *tidal wave*

He’s a regular tavern hopper! A very recognizable face since he’s been banned from a handful for getting too rowdy

He can make not one, but 2 special dishes :0

Yao: Dendro, polearm, Liyue

I just imagine him as a shorter, richer and cooler version of Zhongli

He’d do that kick move that Zhongli does with his polearm oh man that looks SICK dude!!!

Yao would shoot vines out and they’d strangle enemies for a few seconds before disintegrating but if he’s leveled up enough, they’ll totally strangle those stupid hillichurls lol

Yao sells rare gems and other miscellaneous items for very high prices in Liyue where he grew up. His shop is upstairs by the Fatui bank. Rich people enjoy looking at what his shop has to fifer and will argue prices with him. They’re getting scammed for sure. He’ll list a set of cor lapis earrings as $50,000 and the rich will be like ‘I’ll pay $25,000, no more than that’ and he’ll take it!!....Cause thise earrings are worth $5000 at most >:)

Hes close with a lot of the higher ups in Liyue and is often invited to fancy lunches or dinners where they discuss policy, contracts and vendor permits. He doesn’t really get a say in any of that but he benefits from listening

Kiku: Electro, claymore, *

Kiku would be SUCH an awesome electo user are you KIDDING me??? I can see it now, him swinging that huge sword around, purple lightning bolts flying all around and he looks like a total badass? Amazing vibes

When paired with cryos???? He’d do an insane amount of damage fr

Kiku runs a small restaurant where he...runs the place...but doesn’t cook. His restaurant is extremely exclusive and people often throw fits when they can’t get in cause the wait list is over 5 years long. He’ll rest his hand on their shoulder and smile ‘is something wrong? I’d love to take a complaint if you have one’...No one has even dared to complain to his face lol

Behind the restaurant front he deals with the Fatui, buying and selling minerals or artifacts. That’s where his knowledge is at, not with food. He pays his staff to ignore what goes on behind the scenes and the locals are too busy enjoying the restaurant to question what goes on after dark

Gilbert: Pyro, long sword, Mondstat

Gil would be one of the free characters given to you at the beginning of the game but hey, I’m not complaining

He’s highly destructive and very chaotic in battle, he can do that spin move even though that’s meant for claymore users

He’s Mondstat’s biggest trouble maker. He runs an underground gambling room that sits underneath a tavern. He isn’t really into gambling but he makes a lot of money by running it

The only knight who knows is Ludwig which is not good cause...Gil pretty much bribes his brother into not telling the knights of favonious (peace keepers of Mondstat)

Gil never got his gliding certificate cause he kept flying into buildings. He broke his nose doing that lol

Lovino: Pyro, catalyst, *

I can’t add anymore images so imagine a floating, red and black orb. Lovi doesn’t get a book catalyst cause he doesn’t read :) That’s the catalyst thing I’m talking about 😅😅

My guy has the angriest in game voice lines, he’s inconvenienced by every battle, every enemy is ugly and a fuckin disaster. He’s just. Angry.

He’d be a super weak character if he needed to rely on hand to hand combat but he learned magic for a reason babey

He owns a flower stand in his country and makes all kinds of beautiful flower arrangements. He even picks his own flowers in the fields when he can (but usually pays the town’s children to do it for him to ‘teach them the value of hard work’).

Everyone knows he’s a total hothead and will piss him off on purpose just cause it’s funny lmao. But then somehow...Their hair or clothes will just...catch on fire. So is it really worth it to tease him? :/

Feliciano: Hydro, archer, Mondstat(temporary)

I feel like Feli would also be a free character, not cause he isn’t good or anything! But you always need an archer on your team!

Feli has healing properties for his team and doesn’t do an insane amount of damage but when given the right resources, he’d be a pretty sick healer

He moved to Mondstat to join the church there. He leads prayers in front of the church and sings in the choir inside.

He is the sweetest and has never committed a crime in his LIFE but he’s afraid of the knights lol he’s terrified that he’ll get in trouble and be kicked out of Mondstat forever! That would never happen but he’s a worry wart cause of his brother

Ludwig: Geo, long sword, Mondstat

Lud is the only one that I could really think of as a Geo but Geos are awesome :)

He’s a hard hitter but has like...No shield so he’ll take damage fast if you don’t give him those artifacts with shield in them or whatever lol uhhhh I wouldn’t know anything about that cause I suck at building my teams ;-;

He’d totally be in with the knights of favonious! (I think that’s spelled right lol) but he’d take his duty as a knight very seriously!! He’s a familiar face around Mondstat, the elderly absolutely adore him and the local teenage girls swoon over him which he finds super embarrassing lol

He has to work hard to keep Gilbert in check cause even though Gil isn’t a knight, his actions reflect negatively back on Lud very often... :(

WRT the "Alone" choice, I think there's a factor that's missing from your analysis. A Magister (himself a significant threat, most people in Thedas are TERRIFIED of Magisters) shows up flanked by armed guards, in a location with no witnesses, far from the City Guard or the Templars. "Give me Fenris" implicitly carries an "or die". Isabella isn't going to judge Hawke for choosing safety over principle, and Varric/Merril will understand too. The danger of refusing to give up Fenris is non-trivial.

Oh come now. It’s utterly trivial. I prep a bit, for fighting the rock wraith or the high dragon. The Arishok is almost literal murder with that impaling attack. But for Danarius I can pretty much wander in with whatever is in my pockets. He’s a mini boss, no more.

He’s incredibly threatening to Fenris specifically, because of Fenris’s experience of trauma at his hands, but he’s not notably threatening in the general sense. And this is an Act 3 quest. By this point in time, some of your likely opponents will have been:

an ancient rock wraith

the Arishok of the Qunari

Duke Prosper and a damn wyvern

a high dragon

Corypheus (!!!!)

templars, numerous

blood mages, numerous

demons, very numerous

Danarius’s apprentice Hadriana

Danarius barely rates. This quest takes place in The Hanged Man, possibly with the captain of the guard present, possibly with a blood mage and a healer present, definitely with plenty of capable backup of your own. If your argument is that the average barkeep or dockworker would not be able to handle Danarius, I agree entirely. But this is the Champion of Kirkwall. Your friends are awesome, powerful people, several of whom like Fenris personally and/or object to slavery in general. You kick Danarius’s arse. It’s fine.

Also, I strongly believe that you are misreading the tone of that discussion. Listen to this. Danarius is a condescending aristocrat, but he clearly regards Hawke as a person in a way that he does not regard Fenris. He’s certainly prepared for a scrap, but he’s as surprised as Fenris when he doesn’t get one.

Hawke: If you want him, he’s yours.

Fenris: What?

Danarius: Interesting. I’ll make it worth your while, of course. The power of the Imperium will be at your disposal.

Fenris: Don’t do this, Hawke. I need you.

Hawke: You’re on your own, Fenris.

It is absolutely worth Danarius’s while to bargain for Fenris rather than trying to fight the damn Champion, and Hawke does not sound fearful. Hawke sells Fenris for favours and influence. And Danarius opens correspondence with them afterwards. This is Hawke being a terrible person.

However, to my larger point: it doesn’t matter. The issue here is that the story completely and utterly fails to give this the narrative weight it deserves. Hawke has known Fenris for years at this point. We are all keenly aware of how much he personally dreads being enslaved again, and that’s before we get to the broader moral consideration about supporting slavery at all. Fenris is a companion! A main character! This is a huge story beat. It’s questionable to even put something like this in a story. But if you do, you have an obligation to do something with it.

And Bioware emphatically does not.

If, as you say, the party was simply overwhelmed by Danarius then this ought to have been a scene of utter grief and despair. We got in over our heads and lost one of our own. And they would have needed to derail most of the third act to deal with it. Things just got much harder, but we are not out of options. There are a lot of Tal-Vasoth in the city, and they may well have respect for both Hawke and Fenris. Can we hire some mercenaries then and catch them on the road? Feynriel might be in Tevinter - can we get in contact with him to help Fenris escape? What about Maevaris? Could Varric reach her?

Of course, none of that happens. Bioware has a story about the political fracturing of Kirkwall, a step on the road to the mage rebellion, and the discovery of red lyrium that they’re committed to telling. They do not have time for this.

On the other hand if, as I would strongly contend, this is a Hawke at their most evil, then this ought to have provoked a crisis in the party. Most of their companions ought to have left, because a Hawke who will sell their friends for personal gain is incredibly dangerous. Merrill and Anders could be sold to the templars; Sebastian could be sold to his political enemies; Isabela to Castillon or the Qunari; Varric to business rivals; Aveline to anti-Fereldan interests in the guard. In all likelihood at least some of these people should have stepped in to fight for Fenris. At bare minimum they should all have walked away for their own safety.

That doesn’t happen either. Bioware is aware of the concept of a companion crisis: they’ve used it before and will again. They elect not to here. It would break the party combat system. You can have occasions in the game where a companion leaves, but if all of them break with you at once you have pretty much destroyed the gameplay.

So instead, we have some throwaway lines and some minor approval changes. Everyone just remarks on it and moves on in a way that is utterly disturbing if you think about it for five minutes. They make it trivial.

So while I agree that it is tacky that it exists, I’m not going to waste my time angsting about Anders’s +5 to friendship because I am also not going to angst over Isabela’s lack of approval change or the little +10 bumps to rivalry from the other party members. I’m not going to angst about Varric saying “That’s our Champion”, like Hawke just made an awkward faux pas at a party. I’m not going to assume that any of this accurately reflects the characters’ views on handing a person over to a slaver because to do so I’d have to assume they were all monsters.

This is just shitty writing. There’s some really awesome stuff in Dragon Age: good dialogue, heart rending quests, fantastic world building. I know I write way too much about it. Think too much about it too. Because the good stuff is fun. But sometimes you just go - “What the actual fuck, Bioware?” and move on.

1. So there’ve been like a billion Bleach analysis vids dropped in the last week. I was curious enough to check them out, but did my best to make sure I skipped past spoilers. That was interesting, especially since they dispelled a bunch of myths about the show (like getting ‘cancelled’ or ‘falling in popularity’), and validated something I’ve kinda begun to suspect: Namely, that Bleach is actually kinda good and most of the  critiques of it are things that are problems with any Shounen. Which is neat. Got me plenty hyped for this episode.��

2. Darnit we’re starting out with Ura’s fight. I’m still mad at you Ura. 

3. Rangi is so fiesty. Kick their asses Rangi! Also: So Hitsu is a full on WaterBender?! Damn that’s cool.

4. Oh Damn back to Ichi vs GJ. Ichi’s gonna get fucked up this time, I just know it. He’s so screwed. Thank god he’s a Shonen protag or I’d be worried he’d be dead. 

5. RUKIA WITH THE RESCUE!!!! YAS!!!! GO RUKIA VS GJ ROUND TWO. And Ruki Ices him up good and quick, then saves Ichi from being all bound. She’s awesome. I kinda have the feeling turning her back on frozen GJ is a bad idea. HE’s gonna pop outta that ice any minute now...

6.th YUP THERE HE GOES. GRabs Ruki’s head and looks like he’s sucking out her energy, only for...something to get in the way? OK who’s here to save Ruki now? (seriously we’ve got such a circle of saving). OK it’s uh...(checks subtitles) Shinji. Blond guy. OK. I guess he’s cool now.

7. So Shinji’s gonna fight GJ instead huh. DAmmit that’s so much more boring than Ruki fighting him. 

8. Wow GJ’s actually scared of Shinji huh? And damn that was a pretty big blast. Hope GJ’s not dead, he’s still a cool villain. LOL and Ichi and Ruki just stand there watching like ‘damn’. 

9. GJ yelling Damn really makes him seem like this show’s Vegeta. Like the badass villain rival whose role is to get his ass kicked all the time and be mad about it.

10. ULQUIORRA?!?! WTF WHY ARE YOU HERE? WHY ARE YOU INTERFERING IN THIS FIGHT? not that I’m complaining. I mean more Ulqui is always good. But wow they just left like that. Cause they  already got Orihime so they don’t need to bother with any of these losers I guess.

11. So Arrancars ascend through their light columns while Ulqui thinks judge-y thoughts about Ichi while flashing back to capturing Hime. Cause again, they’ve got her so they win. 

12. OOH Ulqui gave Hime a Phaser/Invisible bracelet huh? She can say goodbye to one person? (I’m going to guess it’ll be Ichigo, though my heart wants it to be Tatsuki). And damn there’s some serious Phantom of the Opera vibes in this sequence, huh? Hey, he is letting her say goodbye and spend 12 hours getting chores ready for everyone. That’s something. Most anime villain kidnappers are not that considerate.

13. Invisible Orihime sequence! And Phasing! Damn it’s like being a ghost. Spooky.  

14. THAT DOOF SAID TATSUKI’S NAME. AND HIME HEARD AND FREKED OUT OMG. SAY GOODBYE TO TASUKI HIME. DO IT DO IT DO IT!!! OMG SAD TATSUHIME MONTAGE. YAS WELCOME BACK TO THE FOLD

15. Tatsuki be looking right at Hime even though Hime’s invisible. That’s some serious soulmates stuff. 

16. Sad Ichigo & Rukia scene next, as of course the minute Hime disappears nobody can heal him right away. Damn they’re gonna lose their white mage healer this arc! Without Hime the squad is gonna be so screwed, they’re  worse than Deku at avoiding getting injured.

17. OOH this guy described his powers as being like a ‘time reversal’. Is that how Hime’s powers work too? DOES SHE HAVE ERI’S POWERS?! (or maybe not since Eri doesn’t talk to fairies).

18. Rukia immediately tries to reassert her position as Hime’s main femslash pairing by worrying about her and ditching the injured Ichigo to go find her. Even though she’s hungry and Ichi’s nice sisters have dinner ready for her. 

19. I like how Ichi’s family has just kinda accepted that Ruki now lives in Ichi’s room. Like, it’s just the way things are.

20. ORIHIME KITTY PRYDES HER WAY THROUGH THE WALL. She’s picking Ichi? darnit. Ah well. OK let’s see whatcha got for Ichi, Hime. She lists all her ships to make sure we know she still remembers them. 

21. She’s sweet about Ichi’s sisters spending the night! And gets embarassed about being in his bedroom. This sequence is so wholesome. (except the “your scent” line wtf hime you been memorizing that?) Anyway, she puts her hand on his. 

22. DON’T KISS HIM WHILE HE’S UNCONSCIOUS HIME!! GUY CAN’T CONSENT IF YOU DO THAT!! Anyway we get a cute IchiHime montage, to make sure we’ve covered all the main Hime shipping bases this episode. And thank god her tears wake him up before she can kiss him unconsciously. 

23. DAMMIT HIME YOU’RE GONNA MAKE ME CRY. She wanted to do all this stuff. Damn she likes sweets huh? oh god she’s gonna make me start bawling. She wants to live 5 lives. “I would have fallen in love with the same person five different times” HOLY SHIT HIME. You are smooth. That’s a hell of a line.

Hunger Games Characters I picture in Disney  Characters. 

Katniss  I Put her with Merida ( Brave) Belle ( BATB)  Meg ( Hurcules) Elsa (Frozen). 

Why Merida. Well shes good with the bow and arrow ( I actually haven’t seen Brave fully so I don’t know much about her). 

Belle. Both are strong willed women Willing to do anything for family.  Both have no choice but to stay where they are “captured” both are like if I have a will to live through this I’m not gonna go down without a fight. Both have 2 men after their hearts, Both know how to survive on their own if needed.   She learned to fall in love with a beast. 

Meg.  This is more the love side  for Katniss. The Song I wont say I’m in love is basically Katniss’s theme song. Like she wont admit it she loves Peeta but girl we all know.. 

Elsa. In a way Katniss did shut out Prim to protect her. She didn’t want to hurt her sister strong willed to protect her sister at all cost.  Plus I know Cinna is to credit for this but her mockingjay outfit *Chefs kiss* plus they wear their hair the same. 

Peeta.  Hercules  Kristoff ( Frozen) Kovu ( Lion King 2)  The Beast (BATB)

Hercules he’s strong. But he literally gave up everything for love. Which is so Peeta. 

Kristoff. Okay this one both  have such a charm that attracts everyone. Tho both have obessions and flaws So they are a bit of fixer uppers.  But both are somewhat accpecting to the fact  I will wait until you make your choice. Both have kind and sweet hearts.  Both are kultzy but pull it off like a champ.  ( And Katniss didn’t fall in love with a man she just met. They knew each other since the age of 5) But Never truely met until the games. 

Kovu. Hes the sexiest damn thing. In Disney characters I freaking swear  He has a way with his words. Charming.  Loyal tho. He is willing to go against his families ( whos kinda a bunch of ya know bad guys) for Love and whats right. So Peeta. 

The Beast. This is Peeta in Hijacked Form ( Some parts). Besides the totally Hitting on Belle part. We all know deep down the love he had for Katniss never left. He never stopped loving her.  Not based on how good she looked but who she is.  Plus A Kiss broke the spell.  Also he had a bit of charm in his hijacking but so much anger and Katniss was the only one who could truely break him outta it.  Also I was hoping that He would of said so you came to look at the beast have you. 

Finnick  King Triton ( Little Mermaid)  Maui ( Moana) Flynn Rider ( Tangled) Aladdin. 

Kin g Triton. Well for that  Trident comes in handy.  ( The king is kinda a jerk why are most fathers in disney movies total jerks I’ll never know) But I hope that Finnicks son at least knows what a fork is compaired to a freaking trident ( and doesn’t use it as a hair brush) man that was stupid. Both are basically the big shot of  where they live.  Both  love water live  near or in water... ( What they hell do they eat under the sea ?) 

Maui. Okay Finnick is a bit of a show off a little.  Not his fault hes so damn good looking.  Both have that sarcasm that makes you laugh but your like oh my god please stop. Both have there  if Finnick had a song It would be your welcome. But still so much we never know about them both.  

Flynn Rider.  Okay  well both just have the certain personality that is strangely Alike.  Both know how to fight if needed. Both  are like well the ladies are okay but not intrested until they find the one..  Both have their charm.  ( Plus I love Flynn rider). 

Aladdin. We know that Finnick has a huge part of him he never opened up. Before when he spilled what the real price to winning is. That was not everything. There is a part that  Beetee said If you knew Finnick it’s amazing he’s still with us at all. So hes been though it.  

Johanna  Bo Peep ( Toy Story 4)  Mulan  and Mulans Grand mother ( Mulan) Tiana (Princess and the Frog) 

Bo Peep. From the first toy story to the 4th one Bo peep has changed a lot. ( Kinda like Johanna from  after her games to who we met in Catching fire) Tho a lot of them is still there that hasn’t changed. But their will to fight. and that they dont take BS as an answer.  That they  both may look weak but inside them so much more then that. ( I was shocked to see Bo Peep kinda like Johanna in toy story 4). Not scared of a little fight and blood.  Frankly I’d be worried that they both would try to kill someone in their sleep.

Mulan. I love in movies where the weakest person goes to the strongest like that. Totally Johanna.  And they are the girl worth fighting for I see more of her in Johanna then Katniss because  Johanna went from faking being weak to deadly like that. Where as katniss she didn’t hide it at all really. Plus if this wasn’t a disney movie i would of love to say what Mulan would of said  when they found out shes a girl really.  But both are bad ass females. Who really had no choice to go into this ( Mulan had to save her father Johanna got picked to be in the games) 

Mulans Grandmother ( I didn’t realize I did this) But I Johanna’s humor she says what she wants and no damage. They don’t ruin the moment they make the moment 100 times better. 

Tiana. She was totally fine not finding love ( But its disney she did) I really like her will to not give up no matter how many changes are thrown at you.  and  tolerting her best friend but I freaking love Charlotte She is the one who knows what to say in a moment where no one else would understand basically the girl talk that Katniss hates but we all have it in us. 

Prim  Repunzel ( Tangled) Baymax ( Big Hero 6)  Anna ( Frozen) 

Lets Ignore the fact that I brought up 2 of these lovers before to other characters 

Repunzel  The healing part Prim has it is in her born with it.  and she has a nack of many talents. And In a way is locked up in District 12 ( But Protected by her sister) 

Baymax He is the cutest thing out there. Caring knowing when you need a hand ( Like katniss)    a healer  ( I might of went out to look for the healer of disney).  Not much of a fighter ( But I swear if you did what  Hiro did if you did that to prim oh my god the fight in her but the healing will always be apart of her) 

Anna. Okay I basically but Anna here because she is Elsa’s sister. Simlar hair styles but.. Both are willing to do anything for each other.  Prim had a knack to see if the fence was on to see if Katniss was gonna be late coming back from hunting. Both are gental who wont hurt a fly (Unless your almost husband is a total jerk)   

Effie Charlotte ( Princess and the Frog) Dory (Finding Nemo )  Yzma ( The emperors  New Groove) 

Charlotte. Oh my god If this isn’t effie I have no clue what is. She  does stuff to get a better district. But then Truely cares about her district 12 tributes 74th Games. She would almost do anything in her power to make them on time and for her victors.  

Dory Okay Effie is a bit clueless in her own little world.  Telling them about the pearls lol and whitty. Effie doesn’t have short term memory loss she has I’ve been living in the capitol and this is what I know. 

Yzma This is the effie we dont wanna see Frankly I am happy we didn’t see this side of her. It’s the one who gets really pissed off I’m sure it would be something else tho to see. 

Cinna.  Fairy God mother (Cinderella) Genie ( Aladdin)  Nick ( Zootopia) 

Fairy God mother. Cinnas out fits are like  bibbidi bobbidi boo I make an awesome outfit for you. Also He takes good care of Katniss.(  Like sent from up above) On her side beyond his end.  A bit of a rebel but over all a really good guy 

Genie. Cinna is like the Genie without 3 wishes.  But he is there and supports Katniss fully.  And just  helps her out when se needs it.  and Is a friend in Katniss. Basically the one  she trusts first and fully, 

Nick  Okay this is an odd one But he  rebeled from his bad guy character to help Judy ( Police officer) with a crime.  Cinna helped out katniss and pretty much a rebel to go beyond to help her. To show shes the symbol of this war... To show that she  should go a head fight for it all its worth. Plus I got your back making your costumes not only good looking but you wont have to worry about death yet your costumes prevent that. 

Haymitch.  Mushu ( Mulan) Lumiere ( BATB)  Crush (Finding Nemo) 

Mushu He is that reality check that Katniss and Peeta needed but also will do almost anything to protect them ( Even lying for there own good)  But also oh my lordy funny. 

Lumiere. It’s his carefree side where Katniss shot an apple at the gamemakers and just like oh well. That happened... Plus not playing by the capitol rules and  He is just like a good mentor to Katniss and Peeta hell the best. He really wants them to try to win this thing.  

Crush. Okay that turtle was the most stoned turtle I’ve met. To this day. And as for Disney Characters this might not be the most drunk but It’s one i can Find. 

Gale Robin Hood  Hans ( Frozen) Gaston ( BATB)

 Hans  Not only did he confuse Anna for a love  But we see his true colours too. I mean they were not even friends first but still. Like so Gale.

Caesar Flickerman  Kuzco ( Emperors new groove)  If this isn’t him I have no idea what is. Total Kuzco vibes the but also somewhat caring but most of the interviews is how he does.  Its beauty and its grace its Caesers face. But He does try to help out to the best of his ability. 

Boggs Mattias. Frozen 2  Basically he actually cares for Katniss doesn’t want to see harm done to her. A  rebel against his leader. ( I think he would of honestly be proud of Katniss for Killing Coin). But Only hopes for the best. 

Cato Prince Eric ( Little mermaid)  No offence but  holy crap hes an idiot lol  ( Eric I mean).  Cato is smart but clueless.  If he beileved that 2 could win. ( I honestly have no idea why I chose him for Cato)

Yeah  Mrs Everdeen did leave her daughters to fend for themselfs but bits of her came back to life every day.  and if she had a choice she would of died with her husband but she is the strongest damn person because she could of  died if she wanted to but she stayed for her daughters sakes. I would like to think Iduna would of done the same if she had that chance.

Let's be honest, I saw It 2017 only bc of James McAvoy in the second chapter and I found it boring. And then the second part I found more like a comedy than horror. I didn't like films that time but I liked characters (Richie). Some weeks ago I rewathed both It 2017 and It 2019 and second one is still too long and a comedy but first I found interesting

So remake is great at least on the second time watching and that's enough

Yeah, that's not that Pennywise is meant to be but that's adorable

And I love Bill's version bc he does look scary (in a some way, of course). Yeah yeah new effects are doing their work and the costume is less friendly than Tim's but the most important is Bill's acting. His mimic and expressions are perfect he fits this role way too good. And, damn, he's so funny like... Yeah, I'd spend my last minutes with him he's great, that would be the most hilarious death I could ever get

Chapter 5: Banter

“Were you waiting for long?” Ladybug asked, panting a bit from her underwater dash.

“Nah, it’s all good. So, how was your day today?” Chat asked, smiling as he languidly plucked at the grass nearby while laying on his back.

 “It was wonderful. We had an impromptu mermaid’s ball which was for, well, me, and uhm, it was supposed to run late till the night but—”

 “You ran away? Or should I say,  swam  away?” Chat chuckled.

Ladybug shrugged. “You got me.”

“How funny,” the man grinned at her. 

 There was a moment of silence before Chat asked ruefully, “A ball for finding a suitor?”

“How did you know?” Ladybug gaped at him.

 The man chuckled again. “We both ran away from our balls. Guess we  mermaid  for each other, M’Lady.” He winked at her.

 The mermaid stared blankly at him. “Did you — did you just pun,  chaton ?”

The blond flopped himself to lay on his stomach, staring into the eyes of his lady love. “Maybe I did, maybe I didn’t. My green grassy eyes are just enjoying the heavenly rains of your eyes, Bugaboo.”

 “Oh, so we are being flirty, hm?” Ladybug rolled her eyes. “No wonder I want to drown you right now.”

 “Aww, Bugaboo,” Chat cooed, tucking a stray hair behind her ear and making her breath hitch, before he continued, “Trust me, I am drowning in your eyes. I bet it was hard for God to make your eyes out of pure, crystal-clear ocean water.”

 For a moment, Ladybug was transfixed. Seeing Chat’s eyes twinkle with mischief, she caught the implied meaning.

  Oh, two can play at this game, mister, Ladybug thought to herself. Then, smirking, she leaned a little closer as she stared deep into Chat’s eyes.

 “Well, if He took mine from the ocean, kitty, then yours are purely emerald.”

Given his flabbergasted expression, he certainly hadn’t been expecting a comeback.

  Ladybug 1, Chat Noir 1.

 As silence stretched on between the pair, Ladybug started noting the proximity the two shared. Somehow, the way his breath fanned her face and his eyes stared deep into hers, it made her feel as if she had left her stomach back at the mermaid ballroom. Even Chat was panting, his slightly dilated pupils giving his transformation a more realistic, feral appearance.

 “Do you feel it too?” Chat asked in a low tone. A tone that undeniably sent a slight shiver through her spine to the end of her tail.

“Feel what?” Ladybug asked, her voice quavering a bit.

 Chat reached forward to cup her face as he lightly brushed his thumb across her cheek, his voice barely above a whisper. “I bet the water’s temperature must have gone up, now that you are here, Ladybug.”

 A wave of feelings that had been stirring in her heart for Lord knows how long crashed upon the mermaid now in full force. She hadn’t wanted to attend the ball because—because it felt like double-crossing her kitty. Even if she was uncertain about her feelings for him. 

Passion and love were fighting against sanity for dominance, with her emotions winning the battle.

 This conversation, it wasn’t a competition or  banter now. It was the truth of the denied emotions being revealed in the passion of the moment.

 Her mind was confuzzled, her heart feeling heavy with the burden of denial. And finally, she decided to let loose her burden.

 That was when a sound caught her attention. It wasn’t the ragged breathing of her or her kitty, or their racing hearts. It sounded more like a gasp of surprise, exclamation and—

 Warning signals flashing in her mind, Ladybug leaned back in an instant, her brow furrowed as she lowered herself into the river till her eyes were the only body part of hers peeking out.

 “Someone’s here,” she whispered to Chat as he looked at her in confusion. 

 Eyes widening a bit, the man gave her a subtle nod before getting up and walking leisurely around the place, whistling nonchalantly all the while. 

Returning after what seemed like eternity, Chat laid down on the grass again, causing Ladybug to resurface.

 “No one was there, Bugaboo. I checked with my awesome six senses”

“But I am sure—”

 “You know,” Chat interrupted her, his serious tone causing her to look at him. “Maybe my senses are affected by the lack of the vitamin my healer told me about.”

“Lack of a vitamin?” she echoed back, clearly confused.

 “Yes, a very essential vitamin for the body,” he answered somberly.

“Oh goodness, Chat!” The mermaid clasped her hands around her mouth in worry, “Are you okay? Why are you not eating well and—”

 She was interrupted again, this time with his fingers on her lips put in a shushing motion. As she stared at him in shock, he whispered, “You.”

Ladybug just blinked.

 “Vitamin U, that’s what I lack, M’Lady,” the blond claimed, his eyes sparkling with mischief and lips pulled in that stupid, lopsided grin of his.

 The mermaid continued to look at him blankly, before without any word, she dived into the river.

 Chat took a quick look behind his back, his faux ears trying to catch any suspicious noise. Earlier, he had been distracted enough to not notice anything. But it was best to not take any chances.

However, there wasn’t anything suspicious at all.

 Maybe she had left because he had crossed a line?

Worried he might have made her uncomfortable for a second time in a week, Chat dashed towards the river bank and laid down on his stomach, peering into the dark river waters below.

 If she was angry with him, he was surely in so much troub-

 Suddenly, the water surface trembled as Ladybug emerged again, causing Chat to nearly yelp as he leaned back in shock and surprise.

 Unlike the times when she rose out of water seeming completely dry, this time her entire form was noticeably covered in water, the droplets glimmering in the moonlight and making her skin shine like crystal. Her raven locks, too, clung to her face and form, the front bangs framing her face in a way that made it look both mysterious and enticing. 

 Well, he was definitely in trouble now.

 Before Chat could open his mouth to ask if she was alright, Ladybug suddenly leaned forward till their noses were almost touching. Chat let out a small yelp of surprise as his breath hitched, the sudden proximity causing his stomach to flip-flop around in anticipation and excitement. 

 “Say,  chaton ,” she said in a low whisper, her left hand curling around the top of his shirt as she traced his jawline with her right, “If I were to take out two of the 26 letters of the English alphabet to give you an answer, which two will I take out?”

 As water droplets fell from her body on his leather costume, he gulped audibly, his throat parched dry. And Ladybug’s smirk wasn’t helping his case at all.

 “Uhm, ‘Q’ and ‘T’?” he chuckled nervously, trying to get over the effect Ladybug was having on him.

“Nope, try again,” she said in a low voice, giggling a bit as her fingernail dug into his cheek and caused him to inhale sharply.

 “‘O’—’O’ and ‘K’?” He panted out hurriedly before leaning in to capture her lips. But she just dodged him at the right moment, her voice teasing.

“Nuh uh, wrong answers don’t get you kisses, kitty cat.”

 The man just grumbled, wishing upon any star for this torture to get over.

“I—I give up. Please.”

 Ladybug didn’t answer but just smirked, her eyes twinkling in challenge. 

 Sighing, Chat hung his head down, rolling his eyes a little. 

“Okay, I give up. You win this round.”

 “Yay!” the mermaid cheered, flapping her tail in water in excitement and hugging Chat tight. He let out a relieved chuckle as he wrapped his arms around her. 

He could deal with an excited, bubbly Ladybug. A finned seductress, though, was out of his league right now.

 “So—” Chat asked after a moment as they broke the hug, “—curiosity’s killing this cat. What was the answer to your question?”

Chuckling, Ladybug pulled him close as she whispered lightly in his ear, “The answer is ‘N’ and ‘O’. And this is a consolation prize for you.”

 Giving the surprised man a small peck on the cheek, the mermaid giggled as she dived back into the river and swam away.

 Chat stared stupidly into the space for a moment or two, sighing in bliss, before the answer hit him.

 “I DIDN’T JUST LOSE TO YOU ON THAT STUPID QUESTION!”

One of my more recent posts, and one not all too involved in the posing. Though, like I said in the post, the MOMENT I saw that arena, I fell in love with its lighting. OST is also a banger. Glad that people enjoyed random glamour shots with Gshade improving the already good lighting.

In-Game

- Levelled all classes to 80! Though it does feel a bit hollow not being able to get xp for doing stuff now...

- Started Raiding... Well, seriously. I used to be a scrub and only do e1,e5 and e6 savage in PF, but a friend’s static needed a healer and they all but convinced me I was good enough to join. It’s been a hell of a ride, I’ll finally be going into e12s soon, but my experiences thus far have been awesome to say the least. I feel like I’m actually getting the most out of this game now that I both savage raid and take the time to RP.

- FINALLY GOT A HOUSE ON BALMUNG. 

God was the release of the new wards hella stressful. Stayed up all night, logged on the second I could, booted up next to the ferryman. Didn’t get my ideal plot, but got the neighboring one. I finally got to house something with more than 100 slots, and for that, I am eternally thankful.

- Finished those goddamn Shared Fates. And all so I could get a piece of music and possibly make a few million gil selling other SHB area themes. Crystarium night theme is the GOAT and you cannot tell me otherwise.

Roleplay

- Actually RP’ed outside of my circle of friends! Now I haven’t had the time recently to seriously go back to it like I once did, but the things I’ve learned and the people I’ve met... I wouldn’t trade it for the world. With this upcoming new year, and me taking a small break from Uni, I think I’ll begin in earnest again! First I’ve gotta update all these damn sites first to better reflect where Saerno is now.

- New Plotlines realized, old ones closed up. It’s cathartic and oh so satisfying, in a way, to see your OC go through legitimate change and to have them put a cap upon a phase of their life, slowly moving on to the next. While Saerno is still as brash as ever, he’s begun to realize just how fragile his life is. To slow down, to sit back, rest, to think about the direction his life is headed, that is the essence of his new arc.

- Secrets to uncover. To keep things brief and without many spoiler, Saerno has made the transition from Arcanist to Summoner, but with it comes its own host of problems, ones that Saerno has to grapple lest things take a turn for the worse.

- Potential Alts. Well, now that I have money again... I may actually follow through on one of the many alt ideas I’ve had, some tangentially tied to Saerno’s own story, others completely unrelated. A tailor with an unrequited love that’s inspired him throughout his hardships? Perhaps the prodigal daughter of a family whose cunning nature only fuels her desire of pure freedom? Or maybe the son of Doman liberators, trying desperately to gain the approval and praise of others so that his parents’ name do not die out completely. So many choices... 

And, well, that’s all! So far while 2020 has been quite terrible, at least I have these moments to look back upon fondly. Thanks to any and all of your who have been here this year, and here’s to hoping for a wonderful 2021!

Tag Challenge: Top 5 Female Characters that I Love

I was tagged by @lostinbl​, and as I too have done my 5 favourite male characters, I’m gonna mention 5 of my favourite female characters of all time.

1. Bae Doona as Han Yeo Jin, Secret Forest/ Stranger

Anyone who has ever read my tags on actors/ characters I love knows that I love this woman and I love this show. Han Yeo Jin was perfect as the hard working intelligent detective, who walked step by step with Hwang Si Mok Prosecutor. Her detective skills were next to none, she recognised problems before anyone else and didn’t cut corners when her own colleagues were discovered to be involved. I am a fan of her principles and everything she stands for. She was a fun loving woman yet serious in her work, she was warm and empathetic, but pragmatic and realistic enough to know the realities of the world.

2. Gabriella Anwar as Fiona Glenanne, Burn Notice

Burn Notice is one of my all time favourite shows and Fiona is my favourite character in it. The trigger happy ex girlfriend whose fucking badass in everything she does. Smart sexy badass fighter who loves guns, cares about her friends and family. A lot of the times, she was the one how rescued the rest out of trouble. played by the very beautiful Gabriella Anwar, Fiona is just all around awesome.

3. Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine, Star Trek: Voyager

Seven of Nine is one of those characters who you can’t look away from. Her character development was phenomenal. She was righteous, every episode focused on her was amazing. Her little snippets, her mannerisms, everything was just awesome. She is probably my favourite character in all of the star trek universe. She never shied away from a challenge, was extremely intelligent and she never lost her soul. 

4. Park Min Young as Chae Young Shin, Healer

Healer was one of the most well written shows in the kdrama world. Chae Young Shin was naughty, quick witted and was well matched with both the other protagonists. She had a good head on her shoulders and thought things through well. She never gave up on people, even in the face of extreme adversity. Although she couldn’t even look at violence happening, she tried her best to protect others around her and walked headfirst into conflict. Park Min Young was perfect in this. Just as in this gif, she was always beside Healer and not behind him.

5. Bae Jong Ok as Ahn Jang Mi, Live

Okay I had to think long and hard for this one. I couldn’t decide which character to choose, but Bae Jong Ok as Ahn Jang Mi is a show stealer for sure. She was a strong woman, head of the women’s cell police department. She worked hard to prevent crime and never cut corners, she never let people get away with bullshit, no matter how high up or how self righteous their motives may be. She was a hard working career woman at the top of her field, but didn’t cut any slack for her husband. She loved him, and knew he loved her, but he neglected her because of work. She understood that but was not okay with it because she knew she deserved more. Ahn Jang Mi was an inspiring character.

3. What is the meaning behind their name? Do they have any nicknames?     Her full name is Anneka Sinclair, but she goes by Annie. I totally stole it from the Skyrim character Anneke pfft

4. Do they have any siblings? How many? Are they older or younger?  Which sibling are they the closest with? She has a twin brother named Alexander, who goes by Alec. They actually made a promise when they were little that they would never call each other their full name unless something was really wrong. They’re best friends!

5. What’s their relationship with their parents like? What about other relatives? When they lived with their parents., they were as close as a family could be. Annie and Alec moved out when they hit their early twenties to explore and find out who they are. They have cousins spread far and thin.

6. What would they give their life for? Any cause she truly believed in, and her brother.

7. Are they in a romantic relationship? With who? How did they meet? HAAA so I’m deciding that. In Skyrim (and my upcoming fic!) she is with Kaidan. The decision for Fallout is between Hancock and Nick, but I’m leaning towards Hancock. Annie rescues Kaidan in Skyrim and he vows to pay off his debt to her. 8. What do they believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them? She likes to believe in Heaven, she is a Christian after all. Death scares her a little, but she knows it’s inevitable.

9. What is their favorite color? Favorite animal? Light blue and yellow! Dogs, probably, or dolphins.

10. What are some of their talents/skills? Annie is pretty athletic, and she can sang. She loves drawing, even if she’s not that great at it, and she’s an awesome motivational speaker. Also has a good sense for fashion

11. If they could make a mark on history, what would they like it to be? Whale, as the Sole Survivor, she unites the Commonwealth into the United Commonwealth, and in Skyrim she’s the Dragonborn so

13. What do they do for fun? She is very easily amused, so almost anything entertains her. But she loves reading, practicing magic (ES), singing, and playing with kids 

14. What is their favorite food? How often do they get to eat it? She’s not a picky eater, so she likes anything. Mainly sweets. She’s a scrounger, so it’s not rare for her to find something she likes

15. What was something their parents taught them? “Bad things will always happen. But if you focus on the light at the end of the tunnel, you’ll find that it wasn’t as long as you thought.”

16. Are they religious? Yes, she’s a Christian.

17. Where were they born? Cyrodiil (ES), Smoky Mountains (FO)

18. What languages can they speak? Where did they learn these languages? English and some sign language. When she discovers she’s the DB, she can suddenly understand Dovah. 

19. What is their occupation? In ES, she’s a spellsword/healer. FO, healer/dual pistol wielder

20. Do they have any titles? How did they earn them? A popular nickname “The Happiest Woman in the Commonwealth”. Pretty self-explanatory lol

21. What is their favorite thing about their personality? Her optimism, and ability to hide pain well

25. What is their biggest flaw? Naivety for sure, but she’s also a huge klutz

31. Does this character ever put somebody else’s needs before their own? Who do they do this for? How often do they do this? Annie never puts herself before others. When she has to, she hates it. It doesn’t matter who

34. How easily do they trust others with their secrets? With their lives? Her brother knows every little thing about her, and they would literally die for one another. She can be overtrusting and overshare sometimes, but she knows what to keep secret and what to share with others.

41. What does their laugh sound like? Do they snort when they laugh? How often do they laugh? Annie’s laugh ranges from a giggle to a belly cackle to just wheezing. Laughter and snorting happen very frequently

46. How easily can they express emotions? How easily can they hide emotions? Happy emotions are never hidden, and she’s pretty good at hiding sadness and anger. But when she’s visibly upset, something is really wrong...

50. How would you describe their style of clothing? How would they describe their style of clothing? Usually something bright and aesthetically appealing, she loves styling outfits.

54. What is their current hairstyle? What have been some of their past hairstyles? Which was their favorite hairstyle? Almost always in a high bun. Occasionally a ponytail or down when she doesn’t feel like putting in the effort. Her favorite is a french braid, which her mother used to do for her.

55. What is their alcohol tolerance like? What kind of drunk are they? How bad are their hangovers? Super lightweight. She’s what you may call a “crazy” drunk which turns emotional, and then can sleep for 24 hours straight. She’s out sick for the whole next day. 

56. What do they smell like? Why do they smell like this? (Is it the things they’re around or a perfume they wear?) She loves anything lemon scented, so that’s typically what she may smell like if she can find it. Second to that, coconut.

57. How do they feel about sex? Are they a virgin? Still a virgin, and she’s incredibly shy about that kind of stuff. Cuddler all the way

58. What is their most noticeable physical attribute? Come for the blonde, stay for the striking blue eyes

59. What does their resting face look like? Do they have RBF? More like Resting Surprised Face almost? Wide eyes and high eyebrows

60. Describe the way they sleep. She is a sleeptalker. Will actually hold a full conversation with you in her sleep and remember nothing about it the next day. Only bits and pieces. Very cuddly, snores occasionally.

Environment:

61. Which season is their favorite season? Spring

62. Have they ever been betrayed? How did it affect their ability to trust others? Not by anyone closer to her, but outside of that, she’s kind of used to being taken advantage of. “As long as they’re happy!” she says.

63. What is always guaranteed to make them smile? Almost anything, but mainly the smile of others.

64. Do they get cold easily? Do they get overheated easily? Does get cold, yes, prefers the cold though. 

65. What’s their immune system like? Do they get sick often? How do they react to getting sick? She’s pretty average, just the usual allergies during changing of the seasons and maybe a cold. She keeps away from people to protect them from getting it and sleeps it out.

66. Where do they live? Do they like it there? In Skyrim, she starts off in Breezehome and then builds a house in Falkreath. In Fallout, she buys Homebase. She loves both places.

67. Is their bedroom messy? What about their bathroom? Kitchen? Living room? She forgets to clean sometimes, but never lets it get out of hand.

68. How did their environment growing up affect their personality? Annie and Alec grew up in a loving home, with parents just as cheery as her, so she has always been upbeat and chipper.

69. How did the people in their environment growing up affect their personality? Uh, same question? She had a lot of friends in school and never payed attention to the negative much, so, yeah

70. How do they feel about animals? Do they have any pets? LOVES animals. She has Dogmeat of course, and in Skyrim she befriends a fox named Misha.

71. How are they with children? Do they have any? Do they want any? Annie worked in a daycare pre-war (FO), and a school (ES), so she is all about kids. Doesn’t have any, but definitely wants one someday.

74. What weather is their favorite? Do they like storms? She likes warm weather (not hot) and a beautiful sunny day, but she loves watching thunderstorms
