Y/n and Matt had known eachother since they were 12, her coming to boston for holiday, and running into who she had no clue, would be her best friend, Nick and Chris also coming as a pair. Y/n had recognized she liked matt when she was 15, now being 19, yet nothing ever came out of it. Her living close to the triplets now L.A. house, seeing them a lot more, made a then crush, now an obsession.

After getting the texts, Y/n got into a very comfy outfit, consisting of, Dark grey baggy sweatpants, a cotton tank top, white nike low rise socks, and Tasman Ugg Slippers. She grabbed her purse, and keys, before doing a final take in the mirror, she had in her mudroom, and headed out.

After arriving at the triplets house, she took out her spare key unlocking the door, and ofc when she entered, locking it again, heading up the stairs, to be greeted by Chris in the kitchen, accompanied by his hourly pepsi, and his phone.

“Heyyy”, “Oh, hey wsp”, “Idrk Matt just wanted to hang out” she says kinda chuckling, “oh ok, have fun, me and nick are abt to go to target with madi, if you want anything lmk.”, “I’m ok, thanks for the offer tho!” she saying walking over to the hallway to be greeted with matt’s closed door, as she opens it with a smile greeting her best friend, he looks kinda sad and nervous yet still smiling, “you ok?”, “oh, um, yea, you just kinda caught me off guard.”, “how, you literally invented me over?” “Yea ik, it’s nothing really” he says patting the spot next to him, on his bed.

She sits down next to him silently, looking at him, as he seems very nervous. “Matt are you sure you’re ok?”, “yea, but I do wanna talk to you about something” “Go on..”, he takes a deep breath, and a quick sigh before looking her in the eyes, “do you like me? Like in a more then friends way?”, Y/n, being very caught off guard, looks at Matt with her jaw so low, feeling like it could fall off at any second. “Oh um, why do you ask?” “Y/n, I just need to know, do you or do you not.” he starts to sound angry, now raising his tone. “jeez, um ig I do, yeah.” “Omg, she was right.” him now standing up clearly extremely upset, Y/n stays stunned, never seeing him like this before. “What, who was right?” “This girl i’ve been seeing, I was talking to her about you, and our FRIENDSHIP, and she said she thought you liked me, I STOOD UP FOR YOU, NOW SHE WONT TALK TO ME AND ITS YOUR FUCKING FAULT.”, “Matt, what? How is that my fault? I didn’t ask you to defend me” “You didn’t have to, Because that’s what real FRIENDS do, they stand up for each-other.” “so what, are you saying i’m not your real friend?” “NO BUT YOU ARE! I’ve never done anything to lead you on” he says now sitting down, “look, Y/n, I love you more then anything, but in a friendly way. And with that Y/n stood up, giving matt one last sad look, before walking out of the room, leaving almost 8 years of friendship behind with her.

but u bringing up alolan ninetales reminds me of a thing thats been going on 4 a while, n that were only starting 2 figure out how 2 fix it. ill give u a quick summary, but u can also see all the posts abt it ive made by going into the ninetales saga tag.

warning under the cut 4 evil teams, pokémon abuse, n... brainwashing? ig? uh also some crime stuff like pokémon theft n trafficking. if the stuff team rocket or team cipher does is 2 much 4 u, u should back out now.

it all started (4 me anyway) when a bag was left on the door of the icirrus gym w a pokéball n a note in it. the note was anonymous, n just said that the person who wrote it couldnt take care of this "alolan ninetales" anymore.

it wasnt actually an alolan ninetales. it was a shiny kantonian one. n i noticed rite away that smth was wrong w her. basically the only thing she was doing wo instruction was breathing, n w instruction she was too compliant. i kno what well behaved looks like bc i have lace. this wasnt just "well behaved." im not going 2 get into the details of her behavior, but u can probably guess.

i wasnt the only one who got a pokémon like that. some other ppl including @pkmnsciencej, @iheartnimbassacity, and @caoimhe-from-hoenn got pokémon like that 2.

caoimhe was p notable bc up until they got theirs we all thought this was just some kind of horrible shiny mill doing this. but then caoimhe was part of a raid on a warehouse used 4 pokémon trafficking n along w rescuing some pokémon they also found out that this was tied 2 smth called "glimmer," which we found out later was a crime group called team glimmer. theres some details abt them but the short version is theyre terrible ppl n kinda like if team rocket had team flares ideas abt beauty.

fast forward n were trying 2 figure out what exactly happened. we get the word "perfected" with some help from @ask-spamton-gpory-spamgon, which is kinda creepy but also the best name we have 4 these pokémon atm. n the people on the science end start trying 2 work out what happened physically.

then dave gets attacked by some team glimmer grunts n they steal his rotom, quincy. she comes back a few days later, but glimmer "perfects" her before that happens. which is obvs not good n it also tells us that this is smth that can be done 2 adult pokémon n theyre not just fucking w eggs.

one person brings up shadow pokémon, n i figure its as good a lead as any n ask if theres anyone who knos abt them who can help. 4 some reason @ariadosanon comes on my post n i dont like her 4 obvious reasons but she also does kno stuff abt shadow pokémon so there was a short talk. n she says these arent shadow pokémon n their hearts arent closed, but smth else mite b.

you always loved talking. it could be about potions, a new book you got, a muggle movie you’ve seen, anything! but no one ever seemed to pay attention.

one day you were in the ravenclaw common room with some of your friends, you were with luna, astoria, draco, theo, and blaise. you enjoyed spending time with them of course but you hated when they didn’t pay attention and were just sitting on their phones.

“oo! i forgot to say i watched this new movie this weekend! it was amazing, the main character was hilarious, my favorite character was this one girl named alice she’s so coo-“ you cut off your sentence as you looked to your friends all on their phones besides your best friend luna. “are you guys even listening!?” you questioned. “yea of course we are.” they mumbled not looking up from their phones.

“guys y/n is talking! get off your phones and listen!” luna said “no it’s fine luna don’t worry” you smiled at her quickly trying to hide your teary eyes. “i’m just gonna go to my dorm.” you mumbled. none of them even said anything! not even a bye, or an okay just nothing!

you slowly stood up and started walking to your dorm. your eyes were getting teary and you were shaking.

once you got to your dorm you jumped on your bed and started crying. you hated when your friends didn’t pay attention to you. it made you feel ignored and not special. luna is the only one that listens to you and you’re really grateful for her.

as you kept crying you heard someone open the door and you immediately jolted up and wiped your eyes.

“oh noo y/n/n! don’t cry my love” luna said frowning. “i’m sorry luna it’s just that sometimes the others don’t make me feel that good” you spoke “aww my baby” “i feel like when i’m talking they just ignore me and i don’t like it that much, i feel like i’m annoying them and i’m just a burden.” you continued while getting teary again.
