Could Omega potentially be a Jedi?
Does she have a higher Midichlorian-Score than the other clones? 🤔It would make sense, cause Hemlock needs her alive and Midichlorians are a microscopic life form found in all living cells. (ALSO they're always talking about some M-stuff)
Hoping the Jelly Bean won't actually become force sensitive though (I just enjoy her character the way she is, I think otherwise it might be a little over the top)....
Still, if you've watched "The Jedi Tales" you might remember Ahsoka's backstory in which she somehow "tames" that one tiger-like beast.
Tumblr media
Jedi have a calming presence. Same goes for Omega. We saw that when she cared for the hound. Of course, she's a very caring individual in general... But to me it still remains to be a very Jedi-ish trait.
It's also a very Jedi like scene, if you ask me.
Tumblr media
Also, Asajj Ventress might have to do something with that, I'm not sure though (she could teach her or something).
But again: I really do hope that she won't become an actual Jedi. Maybe she'll become force sensitive but please please please nothing more!!!!! (I mean, even if she was to become a Jedi she'd still be a lot better than Rey lmao)

Okay, I know this has come up on Reddit and other places, but I just haven't found any satisfactory explanations or theories to solve the mystery of:
Why is Omega so freaking "tiny"?!
Canonically, she's older than the guys; Tech said she was an unaltered first generation clone and also referred to her as an adolescent. When Order 66 takes place, the first gens are already 13 years old (born in 32 BBY). The Bad Batch season one spans several months, and by the time season two rolls around, it would be reasonable to assume they're 14, or close to it.
Omega is less mature than a typical teenager in many ways, but that is easily explained by how sheltered her life was. She is very insightful though, which is an interesting contrast to her childlike wonder at experiencing new things.
But her physical development has me stumped. Omega is 1.1 m (3'7")...that's the same height as my four year old daughter! Yet, she's supposed to be a 14 year old adolescent.
Tumblr media
Look at her standing next to Hera. Hera is 10 years old here (maybe 11 depending on when in the year her birthday is, but she was born in 29BBY). Not only is she a lot taller, she's also clearly a bit further along into puberty than Omega is. I don't know if that's a Twi-lek thing or not, but she definitely looks like an older adolescent. Compare Hera to the animation of Ahsoka when she was 14 and it's even more apparent. Meanwhile, Omega shows no signs of a maturing body. Even her facial structure looks more childlike.
At first I was just going to chalk it up to animators being inconsistent or not being able to properly depict a teenage girl, but now I'm beginning to wonder if there's more to it.
What if Omega's growth has been delayed as opposed to the other clones' growth being accelerated? What if the reason she looks like a seven year old when she's actually fourteen is because she ages half as fast as normal humans? And if that's the case, could that be why the Kaminoans wanted her DNA so bad? Think how marketable it would be if you could sell someone a way to make their natural lifespan twice as long?
It would also explain why Omega sometimes has moments where she has the reasoning capabilities of a teenager (because she does have fourteen years of life experience, such as it was), but retains the playful exuberance of a younger child, because developmentally, she's still seven.
What do you think? Have any of you come across any similar theories that I missed in my brief perusal of the forums?

Hunter is probably going to die this season.
You know I’ve theorized this if you’ve been following me since Season 1. As the season keeps rolling out, the more and more I really do think this will happen.
We know that the ending will be bittersweet, and we know that the emotions behind the ending has a lot to do with fatherhood in particular (according to DBB)
They are putting a huge emphasis on Crosshair and Omega’s relationship. Particularly how he could fill a paternal role for her. Omega mirroring Crosshair is a huge sign to not only us as the audience, but to Hunter as well, that Crosshair can (and will) become a father figure to her. They didn’t have to show us that Hunter noticed Omega mimicking Crosshair. But they did. They’re masterfully crafting that something is going on in Hunter’s head. He’s thinking about Crosshair and Omega’s relationship, and what that could mean.
Crosshair still has a long way to go in regards to his guilt. They could easily have him sacrifice himself at the end to ultimately quell all of his guilt, but I believe that they’re going the route of subverting everyone’s expectations. Crosshair could sacrifice himself for full redemption (like they do with most Star Wars characters) and he probably would given the chance. But story wise, he doesn’t really need to.
If they were planning to go that route, he wouldn’t have been reintroduced to and accepted by the group so early on in the season.
They are actively showing Crosshair paving the way to his redemption. He’s putting in the work. He is protective, helpful, and actively putting himself in danger for the benefit of his family. He’s redeeming himself already. Him dying isn’t necessary to resolve his story. In fact, I think it would diminish the power behind his change. People can make bad decisions. They can hurt others. They can change. And they can live to see happier days. That is hope. And that is always the overarching theme of Star Wars.
Hunter, on the other hand, has been incredibly uncertain and indecisive throughout the entire show. Where Crosshair knows and acts on his decisions, whether good or bad, Hunter has been unsure of himself and his role in everything. His path is way less cut and dry. It almost feels like, in many ways, he has lost his leadership. And he feels it. He regrets his decisions. He probably blames himself for everything bad that has happened. He clearly doesn’t fully trust himself to keep his family safe.
How can his story be resolved, short of him simply finally deciding to take a stand and fight for the other clones?
By giving up his life for his family, for a cause he never wanted to be a part of, as a leader should. So they can go on and live the life he so desperately wants for them.
I don’t think at this point in the story Hunter would allow anyone else to sacrifice themselves. He would stop it from happening. He’s learned from his mistakes.
My theory is that we will see more and more instances of Hunter recognizing Omega’s growing relationships with others, especially Crosshair. And when the time finally comes, he’ll be able to let go of needing to be her primary protector. He’ll see the growth in her, and in his brothers, and finally trust that they’ll be okay. Whether he sacrifices himself or gets mortally injured in a fight/accident, he will be at peace.
I don’t know if his death will be ambiguous or unseen, like him dying in an explosion or something like that, or if it will be more obvious.
I could see him having a Fives-esque death. Where he can say goodbye to his family, and finally pass off the responsibility he held so close to his heart to Crosshair and his brothers.
And if Tech really is dead, he won’t have to be alone anymore.
They’d put Hunter’s helmet above his grave, the last real symbol of the Bad Batch, and a last goodbye to the Clone Wars (since his helmet resembles the regs’ helmets the most)
They’d leave Tech’s goggles on his grave (if Tech stays dead) along with Lula. Omega would leave a bouquet of flowers from Pabu. What a powerful image that would be.
Omega could then go on to lead her own little batch. She’s made the friends and connections to do so. Crosshair and the others wouldn’t be too far behind.
It would be a touching resolution to Hunter’s and Crosshair’s and Omega’s arcs.
Other clues I think they’re dropping that support this theory:
-Omega’s new hair design. It’s perfect for her to wear Hunter’s bandana.
-Batcher joining the squad. She fills the tracking role.
-Crosshair’s increased screen time with Omega.
-Hunter’s increased desire to do whatever it takes to keep Omega safe, and the hints that he becomes reckless upon doing so.
-The Marauder exploding. Something about losing the home and the head of the home making for great storytelling.
-The idea of passing the torch of leadership to the next generation. From Clone Wars (TBB) to the new SW content (Omega)
-The fact that Jen Corbett said Hunter is her favorite character, and I’ve never known a female writer who doesn’t whump the hell out of their favorites the most (fr one of the most compelling arguments lol)

OK wait. Hold the fucking phone for a minute. I think I'm onto something here.
Omega has reached a new level of badass since returning to Tantis. From the moment she entered the vault she's been cool, calm, and confident.
Tumblr media
This is the face of a girl with a plan, and with absolute faith in her brothers.
We've all been assuming that faith is in Hunter, Crosshair and Wrecker. But what if it's faith in someone else, too?
Tumblr media
And hey, come to think of it, remember how we all thought it was weird that one episode ended with Omega alone with CX-2, then the next opened with him handing her over to Hemlock? Remember how rushed and unnatural it felt to have our protagonist alone for hours with the mystery villain and not get to see a single second of it?
And OH MY GOD look at this fleeting expression the moment CX-2 bends to undo her cuffs, before she quickly averts her gaze.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now let's go over her dialogue with the kids again:
"Want to know a secret? I escaped from this mountain before"
"Really?"
"How?"
"I had training. And I wasn't alone. Know what else? I'm doing it again. And I'm taking you all with me."
What if Omega told us a lot more than we realize? She has a secret. She knows she's not alone.

Not exactly spoiler-y but just in case…
Also I’m so sorry
What if we get a mirror of Techs death with Crosshair.
He initiates Plan 99 to get Omega out of there.
It was his fault that she’s there this time.
They are back on Tantiss and they are so close
Omega is with them. Maybe someone is injured.
There’s no way they all make it out. Someone has to stay and stop the troopers from overwhelming them
Crosshair would never forgive himself if he let anyone else get hurt by the empire again.
Omega tries to get him to stop. Who would she be if she didn’t. She tells him “I lost Tech and I’m not losing you too”
But Crosshair just looks at Hunter. Who understands. He gets it. They would both do anything to get Omega and the rest of their brothers out of there.
Crosshair kneels to be at Omegas level.
“Hey. Put this with his goggles won’t you?”
And hands her his scope. He won’t need it. Not in close contact.
Crosshair nods at Hunter who picks Omega up in his arms. She kicks and yells at him to put her down. Hunter and Crosshair make eye contact one last time before Hunter runs to the hangar with a crying Omega in his arms
Crosshair looks at Wrecker and sighs
“Fine this one time”
And Wrecker grins through his tears giving his younger brother one last hug.
Wrecker runs to join Hunter and Omega.
Crosshair watches them leave. He chuckles and lifts his blasters.
“Plan 99 eh Vod?”
He says to no one in particular but he swears he can hear a faint “the probability of success…” in the distance as he slams his hand into the door controls ready for one last fight.

She was putting the batches artifact there tech glasses and the doll use to belong to wrecker. They will truly be artifacts when wrecker dies . This makes me super sad because he is my favorite . But I think it's forshadowing on how the series will end

So I just saw a post saying that Wrecker listens to metal but doesn't know what it is (think Star Trek Jaylah's "I like the beats and shouting!"), meanwhile Hunter listens to metal but DOES know what it is. And I, a heavy music enthusiast, just HAD to expand on this
Wrecker listens to thrash metal, it's big and loud and sounds like explosions. He also likes Viking metal and folk metal (I can imagine him loudly chanting along to "DIGGY DIGGY HOLE! DIGGY DIGGY HOLE! I AM A DWARF AND IM DIGGING A HOLE!" with Omega giggling on his shoulders). But he doesn't only like metal, it's just one of many things he finds fun and exciting
Hunter, on the other hand, is into alt rock and a bit of metalcore and deathcore. He has a deep understanding of harsh vocals and can probably do some of it himself (he would be FASCINATED by the types of screams that impersonate animals, like pigsqueals and growls), he has a lot of strong opinions but prefers to just go to the woods and scream than to participate in fanbase discourse
Tech is a math rock and prog metal nerd. He would listen to jazz, but he got kicked out of all the local jazz bars for commentating the music too loudly ("Interesting polyrhythm, though I don't believe it adds to the composition so much as subtract from the previous syncopation- Ah! Genius use of the chromatic scale! In fact-" *gets decked*)
Crosshair is a post-punk gatekeeper and hates people who wear joy division shirts without knowing the band. He (obviously) had an emo phase in his teens and instead of growing out of it he just moved on to gothic rock. He sticks to his subculture and, like him, feels it is deeply misunderstood
Echo is into 80s pop and rock because its REAL music that makes you MOVE and BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER, he says as he turns everyone else's competing radios down. But secretly, just maybe his preference is partially because it reminds him of belting out classics with domino squad when they had access to radio for the first time on rishi...
Omega, of course, loves all of it. Oh, but she's also a K-pop stan. Also, Hunter managed to get her into Babymetal some time ago and is starting to regret it because she is certified OBSESSED

I’m going to say it. The last episode of The Bad Batch series, The Cavalry Has Arrived, will be Rex arriving with his crew and fucking shit up.
Bonus points for Ahsoka being there as well and Wolffe just saying “fuck this shit” and turning on the Empire with his men following suit.
Extra bonus points: all the clones in the facility who are not prisoners turn on the Empire as well. One big giant fucking clone rebellion.

To the “Tech is alive” truthers — all of them — I hope you’re okay. Some of you stuck it out to very end. Some of you still haven’t given up. Your theories were amazing and you actually got me to believe that there was a possibility Tech would come back. You’re all awesome.
To the 130 people who voted on my “Bad Batch Finale” poll: none of you chose the “watch the finale and then dropping the show for good” option and I’m so glad because that was not the correct answer.
And thank you to the entire Bad Batch fandom: I likely wouldn’t have gotten too into this show without you. Thank you for making this experience more amazing than I possibly could have imagined.
That being said, since we have no confirmed answer on CX-2, let’s just all agree he was the soup clone so we have some closure.
