I'm sorry if this comes out of nowhere, but I was thinking about r//nance, lol. So, like in canon for me, it was ooc for Robin to want to befriend the girl who broke her bffs heart so badly, bc why would she you know. So I keep thinking maybe Steve, who already blames himself, just doesn't really say negative things about Nancy, like he deserved this kinda treatment. I mean still I wouldn't want to be friends with that person who makes my bff feel that way, especially because I heard rumors about cheating and Nancy did move on pretty quickly, like not even a week so that would raise red flags. Anyway, if we all ignore this and Robin thinks of Nancy as this great amazing person who she wants to spend time together, wouldn't she then ask Nancy about Steve and their relationship?? And if so, wouldn't Nancy then have to admit to Robin how she used Steve as a placeholder? And if Robin finds the whole truth, wouldn't she want to stay far away from Nancy? Like it just wouldn't make any sense, realistically why Robin would want to be close to her after everything. It wouldn't matter if Steve would only say positive things about Nancy or reassure her the hurt he felt was only because of his mistakes. Robin is smart she would piece one and one together, Nancy hurt her best friend, and she wouldn't let this slide. This is why I hate this whole plotline about Robin kissing Nancy's ass in s4, I know the show doesn't acknowledge Nancy's mistakes in Stancy, but omg. Not everyone has to be best buddies, especially if there is history.

It was sooo ooc for Robin to act this way, like she should have been wary and maybe a bit cold to her. If Steve was my best friend, I would not whorship the ground his ex walks on. Robin seems like to have the same principles. In Rebel Robin, she hates it that Barb ditched her for Nancy, like idk how canon those books are but if it's true it's another thing why Robin should have been at least a bit bitchy.

The fandom and the show, but mostly the fandom, just wants everyone to be bffs, disregarding the major conflicts and mistakes. Like no realistically, Jonathan and Steve won't be friends, Jonathan is Nancy's boyfriend who knowingly cheated with her on Steve. Steve and Nancy can't be friends because of the messy breakup. Like every teen is like negatively linked to someone, which creates this clusterfuck. The only reason why the kids can all be friends is because they never cross-dated and genuinely like each other. The teens are only together in the group bc of trauma, not because they want to.

it’s totally cool! i love talking about this :) yeah it was quite weird especially cuz she had reservations before about nancy and now she changed it like at the flip of a hat - it’s so weird. yeah i think steve totally believes he was at fault for the relationship so i don’t see steve telling robin an unbiased version anytime soon of how he was the one at fault. yes about the hearing rumors! okay i find it odd how fandom has no problem judging what tommy says in season 2 and doesn’t realize the implications that the entire school knows something is going on with nancy and jonathan. also people were at a party when steve and nancy had their fight so i do not see anyway really trusting their judgement that something even happened between the two of them cuz everyone was drunk and not fully paying attention. all people know is that steve and nancy had a bickering over and steve left without nancy like i don’t think people would only come to the conclusion that they broke up. like there would be so many different rumors about this situation - none of them where nancy and jonathan come out to look like good people in the public’s eye so robin who already had reservations about nancy wouldn’t want to make friends with her after knowing that she possibly cheated or that she just didn’t care about steve. yeah robin kissing nancy’s ass makes no sense like why ‘she’s full of surprises isn’t she?’ like ngl that comment didn’t make sense to me cuz robin herself was never really surprised at nancy on screen about her guns or etc.

omg yeah robin would totally ask about it but ngl i kind of don’t see nancy even admitting that she was also at fault. like she already has no problem not admitting her mistakes in canon and she heard steve say that he was a shitty bf (which i don’t agree with) but i can hardly see nancy having to admit that steve was a place holder to his best friend of all people. also like i think it would be in character for nancy to not admit anything cuz she doesn’t think she did anything wrong.

yeah robin could have acted cold to her like i genuinely think she would have the same energy that she at first had with steve in the first place with nancy! like regardless if robin did feel comfortable now in her own skin - she wouldn’t just automatically trust nancy! or even enthusiastically try to make friends when she had reservations about nancy in the first place! SHE CALLS NANCY A PRISS! and like you said about the rebel robin - she has a bunch of reasons to not like nancy (although i don’t think the books are really canon but honestly i love robin being friends with barb and then being upset that nancy came along and took her from her)

OMG SEABIRD AHAHA that was like the first or second request i got for my event (and also ever) so i was really excited to write it even though lowkey i was like “sae 🙁⁉️” i got sooo carried away w it too (as you can tell by the 11k< word count KFJDJD) and it ended up being sm fun!! reader and sae’s relationship (as well as her little brother’s random cameos) was so silly summer cutesy so it rlly fit the vibe considering i wrote it in the end of may/beginning of june. ofc yk how i feel abt sae and the itoshi bros in general but i always try to set aside my biases when writing!! it’s my goal to write stories that you can enjoy regardless of the characters they’re for. and yes i really tried hard to characterize seabird sae as close to how i actually see his manga self!! i think his dry emotionless soccer-brained personality meshed really well w the reader’s which is probably a part of the charm he has in that story!! i’m glad you gave it a chance and ended up liking it though 💖

- my mom got so sad at the el getting bullied scenes :( she said it rly struck a nerve with her bc it reminded her of when i was getting bullied a lot during middle school and it rlly broke her heart to see el going through all that :(

- they really like eddie and think he’s a lot of fun

- they rlllllly love joyce and hopper and have been campaigning for them to get together (just you wait)

- my dad is obsessed with the music they used this season

- they keep talking about how much older the kids look especially the og party boys

- they loved the scene with robin and nancy in penhurst, and especially loved robin’s monologue :))

- they are suuuuppperrrr into the hawkins plot (as they should be) and love how everything just flows a lot better this season compared to st3 and love all the plot about learning more about vecna and the upside down

THAT WAS SO GOOD!!! I am truly just blown away by this season so far. My worst fear was that the show would just keep getting worse and worse until finally dragging to a stop but they really turned things around here. I don’t know if it’s surpassed season 1 but it’s right up there with it! Lots of happy, incoherent rambling and spoilers under the cut!

BYLER STANS RISE UP!! I said before everything was too good to be true but nooope I really think they’re going there. Only time will tell if it’s a one sided crush or if Byler is on its way to becoming canon. Depends on how the last two episodes go. But anyway, it’s really subtle but it’s so there. If you know what to look for, then you know. But if Byler isn’t even a passing thought then of course it’s not going to click for you. So obviously the reviews are skewed one way or another. And there are enough hints for a proper Mileven break up so really, who knows?? Like I said, last two episodes and then we’ll see

Of course the Byler stuff isn’t the only stuff I’m excited over. It really is such a good season. The whole time, except for maybe the last two eps, was really evenly split between all the plots. Pretty much hitting A, B, C, D, A, B, C, D like clockwork. I never felt bored with any part of the story. And despite the introduction of so many new characters, it never felt too cluttered to me.

Obviously El’s story is pretty heavy, since it’s only focused on her. And the Hawkins plots are harder to juggle bc you have so many characters on that side. But I still think they did a really wonderful job, considering. The only time I was really reaching for my phone was during the Russia stuff. But for the people only here for action, I’m sure they won’t have a problem with that :P

THEY FINALLY LEARNED SHOW, DON’T TELL. I’m in complete and utter shock that some romantic aspects could happen organically. It’s so easy to spot the Steve and Nancy hints and it made me sooo happy. But then of course they ruin it by having Eddie flat out tell Steve that Nancy is in love with him or whatever lmao alskfjsdlkfjs no one is perfect I guess. Still. It’s an improvement 

THE NANCY REVEAL HAD ME GAGGED. Genuinely did not see it coming and it caught my by surprise. We were screaming. But I’m 99.99% sure she’s going to be okay lmao. Although now I’m not so sure about Steve. All the hopeful optimistic talk of a future romance has me thinking that one of them is definitely going to die. And not saying I WANT that to happen but I mean come on. It only makes sense

I said before but I’m so thankful of Max’s friendship montage, and for her calling for Lucas AND Dustin when in distress. One thing I hate about Mileven is how singularly focused they were on each other. When El was in distress she was only calling for Mike, like Dustin and Lucas were just dust. So you know. It’s good to see close relationships being acknowledged even when they aren’t romantic. It’s good to see everyone being actual friends

And I’m so glad we’re shaking up the groups again. One reason s3 is so annoying is bc you knooow they saw people talking about s2 like “omg weren’t Steve and Dustin so funny together?? need more of that next season!” and as a result Steve and Dustin almost exclusively only talked to one another. I haaated that. So I’m glad Dustin and Lucas are close again, that they’re with Max, that all the teens are together, that Erica is there but not too much lol. And I loved all the Byler interactions, obviously. The trio of them with El. Them with Jonathan and Argyle, even. Fuck I even can tolerate Murray this season!! They’re doing such a good job with all the characters, it’s literally insane. I still can’t believe it

And everyone feels important. No one is just standing around. So many times last season half the characters or maybe just Will would literally just be standing there in a scene like 🧍🏼‍♂️ it was sooo frustrating. But no everyone actually manages to feel like an active part of the story this time around. It’s so impressive like I am still in genuine shock that it was so good

I’m sure the more I think about it and rewatch it the more I’ll find to complain about but I’m not interested in that right now. I just genuinely had such a wonderful time. It was hours and hours of content, I’ve been up since 3 am watching, but it felt like it just flew by. It was well worth the obscenely long wait, which I’m thankful for. It’s just a great fucking time and I’m so fucking excited for the last episodes and the last season. I really hope they can pull this energy through to the end and not ruin it for themselves!!

She was tall, had long blonde hair and was as slim as you were before James was born. She was really pretty. Maybe if you would work out more often you could like that again too. You smiled sadly and when you saw her face, you felt sick. It was Stacie. She was probably still with Bucky. You just couldn’t compare to her. Your eyes wandered up and down her body. And then you saw something sparkling on her hand. A ring. Correct...on that finger. Something stabbed your chest. Of course they’d get married. You still had hope that she would have a new partner, but that hope was shattered when HE turned around the corner and put his arms around her. Your shopping list fell to the ground, and you immediately turned around and ran to the checkout. You couldn’t see that. You quickly went to your car and put the groceries inside. Your heart was racing uncontrollably, you were trembling, sweating. Please don’t have a panic attack in this parking lot. You are cursing to yourself. You took the shopping cart away and went back to your car. Your hand narrowed on the door handle as you heard somebody call your name. “Y/N!” Before you could go into shock, you sat in the car and locked the doors. “NO. No no no, not right now. Never.“ you laughed and hit the steering wheel with the palm of your hand. You started the engine and drove backwards out of the parking space. Bucky didn’t have a chance to reach you because you were already in the exit. When he saw you in the store, or rather what you left behind, he wanted to talk to you. Stacie would call him crazy if he ran after a car. He stared at the shopping list in his hands. On the back was a self-painted picture. It looked like a children’s drawing. He folded the paper carefully and put it in the chest pocket of his leather jacket. Then he looked at the car until it disappeared from his sight.

Steve POV

I was sitting at my bed , staring at nothing . God , life was so easier before .  I was visiting Peggy's grave yesterday . I think I'm ready . To move on . To live again . Maybe , just maybe , I have a chance of being happy again .

I stretched my arms and looked at the clock . Five am . I jumped out of the bed , changed into my training clothes , grabbed a water bottle and made my way out of the compound , for my everyday morning run .

It was sunrise , and the sky was painted beautiful shades of rosy pink , orange  and baby blue . Looks like an amazing day is ahead of us . I came to one of my favorite parks and slowed down a little . I looked around myself . People who are rushing into work with coffee in one hand , and phone in other , probably talking to their other halfs , to pick up kids  after lunch . Dog lovers with their pets running in front of them . Some people on bicykles , some roller-skating , and some are skateboarding . I see one or two younger couples , just enjoying the time they have . I smile to myself as I remember the old times . Bucky flirting with all girls , who were crazy about him , constantly trying to get me to date someone . The good old times . I miss them .

In the distance , I see older couple , maybe around 70 years . They are holding on to each other , as if nothing else mattered . Talking and smiling , feeding pigeons as they did . They looked so happy . So peacefully . As I was watching them , they saw me and smiled . And in that moment I knew . I want that sometime . I can't save the world forever . I want a normal life . Well as normal as I can have it . Guess , we'll just have to wait and see what life has prepared for us .

I ran into some fans , took some photos , signed some things and stopped for coffee . I looked at my phone and saw that it's already six . Better head back to the compound and have some breakfast.

-time skip-

After breakfast , I've gone grocery shopping , and than training . As I was cleaning the mess I made , Bucky walked in with a smile on his face .

" Hey Buck . " I smiled at my best friend .

"Hey , listen ... I know you're Captain America and your life is all about "GoD bLeSs AmErIcA" and "LaNgUaGe" , but it's been sooo long since we've done something together , and there's this new bar opened just nearby , and guess what , it's 40s themed !" Bucky rumbled at the speed of light . Maybe this could be an oportunity to try to live again .

"And I know you're gonna say that you have responsibilities and-"

"Ok." I cut him off .

"Wait , what ?"

"Ok , let's do it ."

"Are you serious ?! Okay , go get ready . We're leaving at 8 ." I chucled at my best friend . Just like the old times ....

When we arrived to the bar , we were met with dim lighting and people dancing . It really was 40s themed . Bucky has authomatically found some girl to flirt with so I made my way to get a drink . And that's when I saw her . A beautiful girl , no woman . Her Y/H/C hair were gently braided in an elegant updo , her beautiful Y/E/C eyes reflected the lighting , her perfect rosy lips were curled upwards in a gorgeous smile that could outshine thousands of stars . She was perfect .  And then she looked at me and I froze .

I looked at my phone . Only 5 minutes until my shift ends . I smiled to myself as I made a drink for random customer . I could feel eyes at me and when I looked to my right , a tall , insanely handsome man was looking at me . He had a dirty blonde hair and piercing blue eyes . And then I figured it out . HOLY SHIT IT'S CAPTAIN AMERICA INFSDHNNKD !!! Oh no , he's looking at me . Fuck , what am I supposed to do . Ok Y/N , chill . Play it cool . I looked at the clock and saw that while I was talking here to myself , my shift ended . I swiftly took off my apron , as I made my way over to him because , duh , I'm a fangirl , I need my pictures .

"Good evening , miss ..." Ok , act cool .

"O-Oh , umm Y/N ." Yeah girl , that's the definition of 'act cool'. I mentaly facepalmed . Ok , here we go .

"Um , I'm sorry to bother you but , could you maybe , take a picture with me please ?" I'm a mess . He chuckled . Good God , Y/N stop swooning about him .

"Of course , but could I maybe , I don't know , buy you a drink ?" I blushed and screamed internaly . Is he seriously asking to buy me a drink ? If he would told me to jump off a roof I would do it .

"U-Um yes , please ." WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT Y/N ?!

We made our way over to the bar , he bought me a drink and we started talking . He was actually awesome , kind and a true gentlemen . Not to mention he was extremely good looking .

"So you're from around here ?" He asked me , with his deep , velvet voice .

"Yes , actually my apartment is just above the bar ." GOD DAMMIT Y/N THAT SOUNDED SO WRONG .

"Oh , ok ." Now you've scared him off , great . Just great .

"Oh , um look , I was wondering if , maybe , and you totally don't have to , you know what this was a stupid idea . Forget about it ." What is he trying to say ?

"Chill , it's okay . Anyways , just ask me anything ." Breathe Y/N , breathe .

"Wouldyoumaybewanttogooutwithmeitotallyunderstandifyousayno-" What the hell ?

"I don't understand a word you're saying , breathe . Slow down ." I chucled . He took a deep breath .

"Would you want to go out with me ?" Wait did he just-? OMG he did . Ok Y/N keep yourself together  . Be chill .

"Yes , I would like that very much ." Ok , that was actually good .

"Really ?! I-I mean cool , cool ." I smiled . Adorable . He's like a happy puppy . Snap out of it Y/N .

"Can I have your number ?" He was more relaxed now .

"Yep , give me your phone ." Did you just said yep to Steve Rogers ? Yes . Yes you did .

I wrote my number to his phone . I looked at the clock and realized , that it's already late , and I have an early shift tomorrow .

"I really loved this evening , but I must be going . I have work tomorrow . Text me !" I winked at him from distance . What the hell Y/N ?! Why would you do that ?

As I was leaving the place , I heard distant shouting .

"WOOO GET SOME STEVIE !!!" I chuckled and looked at Steve . He was bright red .

Who knows ? Maybe this could be something good .

Omg I also don't ship b*ler not because I'm homophobic but I don't see Will going for El's ex or at least have reservations about it. I mean that's his sister right there and El clearly loves Mike so much. It would kinda fuck up the WillEl dynamic. Now I don't think M*leven will stay together forever, they are 14 years old but Mike and Will getting together immediately after that is impossible. Also if El doesn't make it out alive in s5 it would take Will some time to date Mike, his deceased sister's ex. I just think every time you say you care about El's feelings about the matter people will jump you or say El's just gonna be fine. Same with R*nance and Steve being fine with his best friend dating his ex. Like characters outside the ship are allowed to be upset if it's affecting them in a negative way. The treatment of El in this fandom is so atrocious sometimes, like she's getting tossed aside or her feelings never matter when it involves her current boyfriend. B*ler like r*nance is so messy and I don't like when people take it away. Pointing out this dynamic doesn't mean we hate gay people. B*ler not happening or being complicated doesn't take away that Will's gay. It would still be a happy ending for Will to come out and be accepted by his friends without b*ler being endgame imo.

-       Scorpio – The scene in ‘’Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, where Steve unmask Bucky. Unexpectedly and tensely. It is actually very important scene, the beginning of hard and dangerous story.

-       Sagittarius – Interview with Chris and Sebastian. Just some interview for others, but not for the Stucky shippers. Hidden power and love. We know it.

-       Capricorn – The Winter Soldier. Cold as the top of Everest,  hot as volcanic scoria. Able to kill fucking everything if he wants to. Hardy man in black mask, charming hair and perfect eyes.

-       Aquarius – SAM AND BUCKY’S BROTP, omg. So cute, I can’t just avoid it. Unusual, knows what does the real friendship means. Seems a little bit angry, but it’s sooo nice.

-       Pisces – fan art about Stucky. All clips, pictures and stuff. Talented and truly beautiful. Seems like dream image. Pisces, you’re unbelievable.

WHO THE HELL KNOWS TBH… If I were a betting person I’d say it’s really just a tease (since they do torture tease the fans a lot). Even Seb mentioned before that they love to dangle the cheese in front of him, sooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

A couple of people on twitter are speculating that maybe it’s damage control to counter Seb’s remarks about filming some particular scenes with Steve, and that’s… actually plausible..? Again, who knows. One thing’s for sure though: I’m already dying at the prospect whether it’s true or not lmao
