I love him so much. He is my most favoritist sunshine child ever. He is 17 at the start and 19 post skip and is one of the most infamous pirate captains out there. He is not a hero. But he will fight to protect what is His. This includes objects as well as people. And honestly ideas too. None of his crew set out to be his crew but each would lay down their life for him, tho he 100% expects them to Fight for him (as he would and they would too). He is an idiot but he is going places! He doesn’t care about knowing anything extra, just the very basics of the goal and who is with/against him and who is a bystander. Boy is beautiful inside and out. Plus his greatest treasure (hat aside) is his freedom and that he is 100% willing to share with anyone he sees oppressed. Also, his ships are equally important and even thought Merry is no longer sailing, she deserves all the love. Just like how Sunny has yet to make her biggest contribution, but is still worthy of all the seas.

Janeway's the first female captain to be portrayed on a Star Trek series. Groundbreaking, badass. Extremely capable, gets her crew through challenges of isolation and various external threats and as yet uncharted regions of space. Loves coffee.

One: Government incompetence killed everyone he ever knew or loved, tried to end his life by joining a pirate crew run by an actual sociopath, got saved by said pirate's brother, watched the pirate captain kill his savior in an attempt to save him, then swore vengeance on the pirate and held that grudge for like 13 years.

Two: Was too serious as a kid already, even before his whole family and town was slaughtered in a genocide. Anyway, that was long ago. He's still too serious. Isn't really one to join festivities, but he should. He should be at the club, have some fun for a change.

Is both a scythe and a sniper rifle

Has a storage mode that makes it more compact and easy for travel

Ruby uses its massive recoil to enhance her mobility

Can use different kinds of Dust ammunition with different effects

Dangeresque's Nunchuck Gun (Homestar Runner)

It is a gun with one end of a pair of nunchucks taped to the barrel

Purchased from Cool Weapons Surplus

Typically, only the nunchuck part of the weapon is utilized

Gungnir (Symphogear)

Comes from a spear owned by Odin that is said to never miss and always kill its target

Fragments of this gear are imbedded in the area near Hibiki's (the user) heart

Every time she activates the system, the fusion between her body and it increases

This also caused Hibiki to sometimes enter a berserker rage

Can be used as a sword, but mainly serves as a lance or spear

Can clone itself and spin like a drill to create tornados or whirlwinds

Baby 5 (One Piece)

Baby 5 is a member of the Donquixote pirates

The devil fruit she ate, Buki Buki no Mi, lets her transform all or parts of her body into weapons

This includes a giant sword, a sickle, a pistol, a rifle, a cannon, and even a missile

If her body is broken apart by the weapon she turns into (like a bomb exploding) then her body will reform

IzSmo: They go so well together! Listen. Smoker being this grumpy but righteous guy, he knows what justice is. He knows pirates can't be trusted. He knows pirates are the enemy and even getting slightly friendly with one is not good (but sometimes temporarily necessary). He would NEVER fall for a pirate. But Izou? Izou is something else entirely. Izou gets under his skin in the best way possible. Izou is that dangerous, forbidden fruit that just keeps tempting him. He's so pretty, so hot, so badass, and knows just how to push the right buttons... Smoker has fallen before he even realizes what's happening. she's a sword fighter! she wanted to be the best sword fighter in the world and was until she died the best in her class. while practicing with zoro she was giving him tips on how to improve (even before they become friends). she has a really cool sword (which zoro takes after she dies to "carry on her legacy" or something). we dont know anything else about her :)))))))))

Listen Oda normally writes the women characters well but this... this was not it. Other than giving Zoro motivation she doesn't really have much of a role in the main story and idk she could've had a more "honorable" death or something

Ace's introduction is the civilians thinking he was dead because he fell asleep so suddenly. Every one piece character has a trait and his is falling asleep while eating.

Ace Propaganda I have a legal obligation as an Ace kin to fight for my man - The narcolepsy thing happens multiple times both in the anime and in the prequel books. - Every time he does that, he wakes up and wipes his mouth on the nearest person’s clothes, save for in the first Ace light novel where Deuce scolded him awake - He also does this on Buggy’s ship and once again they thought he was dead. Why he was there I don’t know. - Also he’s got fire powers so therefore human heater and the coziest of naps

Jade Harley:

She has narcolepsy due to some meddling from another character, but it's narcolepsy nonetheless. She spends a lot of time sleeping, but that does hold her back as she's able to get a lot done on Prospit (a sort of dream world). She cares a lot about her friends and has a lot of interests like nuclear physics, cartoons, her dog, and being a markswoman.

She loves sleeping and dreaming!

She's got narcolepsy (....kinda, it's complicated) so for most of her initial appearances that girlie is just off in sleepy town, absolute snoozeville. Also I have great respect for her ability to look so comfy while sleeping in objectively uncomfy places, like a greenhouse floor

sometimes the world just needs a sleepy whimsical puppy girl. that's how it is

she falls asleep at random moments, and she has a robot that acts out her dreams for her so she doesn't sleepwalk and potentially get hurt, but the effect of this is her online friends aren't always sure when chatting with her whether she's awake or asleep. they don't tend to realize they're talking to dreambot jade until she says something completely bizarre and nonsensical, but then sometimes she says strange and silly things while awake because she's a very silly girl (/positive) and trying to parse whether a thing she said is just her being silly vs her being asleep can be difficult. also she sometimes has visions of real events happening somewhere or some*when* else in her sleep.

Left by her mother with her abusive aunt, got called a monster for her weird powers and only found solace at the library studying with the scholars there, but they left her out of their biggest main researcher of Forbidden History because the government kills whoever studies it. Made a giant friend anyway, just in time for the government to come and blow up the entire island because of the Forbidden History, leaving her the only survivor. They put a huge bounty on her head (she was 8), meaning she was never safe and couldn't trust anyone, surviving by betraying people before they could betray her, until twenty (20) years later when she finally met people she could trust.
