Hii i don't mind, thank you for asking 😊

So, I used to love bangel sooooo much when i first watched the show. I was 100% into it, (with a crush for Boreanaz too) and i cried so much for them in s2 and when Angel left the show in s3. And I truly, sincerely, unironically hated Spike too (I thought he was a great character but i just loved hating him, you know? Lol). When we saw Spike's dream of kissing Buffy I swear i felt nauseous.

... and then they aired Fool for love.

By the end of that episode I was left in utter existential crisis in front of my tv because i felt my whole world shift. There was a part of me that still liked Angel and Buffy, but there was also this new part that wanted her to be with Spike now.

So anyway, that's when i decided to switch teams and i became team spuffy, and for as much as i had been obsessed with bangel before, it was nothing compared to how deep i was caught into the Buffy and Spike relationship. I never looked back. They were just much more complex and real and compelling. And it made me reevaluate Angel and her relationship with him too. Angel never really knew Buffy, always treated her like a child, and let's be honest--and that's something that hit me only years later when I got older--she was a child when they were together. He was spying on her and falling in love with her when she was just fifteen years old and he was a 240-year-old vampire who had been sired at like 26 years old, and they got together when she was 16/17 and he broke up with her when she turned 18... I don't think that's something the writers did intentionally of course, because (as everything else in buffy) it's just meant to be taken as a metaphor for the ideals and struggles and the intensity of drama of a girl's first love, but it still comes off as icky.

And before anyone comes at me, I know spuffy isn't healthy either, but that's kinda the point and the appeal. First of all, it's fiction and a metaphor, and secondly, it's about two broken people that are supposed to be mortal enemies but are actually two sides of the same coin, so different and yet so much the same, who can understand each other as a whole, light and darkness, in a way that no one else ever could, who yes, hurt each other along the way, but whose love saved them from the deepest darkness, ultimately bringing them into the light.

This is what spuffy is to me, and this is why i think it's not only the superior ship, but one of the best ships of all time (thee best, until i saw destiel, now they're sharing the podium).

So anyway, to get back to your question, the moment i became obsessed with Buffy and Spike (and i have been ever since 2005, lmao, they've been my first real obsession, alongside btvs, until spn and destiel) Angel sort of became the enemy 😅. And I hated him so so so so so much when he appeared in 7x21 and kissed Buffy (pure fanservice, but okay) and brought the medallion that ultimately killed Spike. So i spent years very maturely holding my vendetta against Angel (like, rooting for every demon that fought against him when I watched Angel, lmaoo). In most recent years, I've (sort of) made my peace with the character, after rewatching Angel. I mean he's still the enemy (of course, duh!! Who am i if not eternally petty??) but i appreciate him in his own show.

So i don't ship Angel and Buffy anymore, but I can understand why someone would (as i myself used to), and more importantly, i respect other people's right to ship them.

If we're joking, I'm going to insult Angel and keep saying he's the enemy. But on a mature serious note, I think Buffy and Angel were a great first love (for Buffy), but they were supposed to be just that, the impossible teenage girl's dream of a first love, eternal but doomed to end and break your heart.

I think Angel was much more well paired with Cordelia (which is something I'd never think I'd say), and i found myself shipping them so much when I rewatched the show. It felt so much more mature and profound than what we saw with Buffy and Angel (and that's probably due to the fact that we got slow burn for them - as we did for Buffy and Spike- and could actually see the feelings growing, while Buffy crushed on Angel in the pilot and she was madly in love (as teenagers do) in 0.5 seconds for no apparent reason than the fact that he was hot and mysterious.

So when I say the kiss in btvs 7x21 makes zero sense, I'm not just talking about spuffy, but also about cangel. I feel like both characters parted ways and lived on in their own shows to grow and become their own persons, developing other relationships that were more adult and meaningful, and that kiss was just disrespectful for both (but anyways, it doesn't change anything).

I have so many thoughts about all this honestly, and I hope I haven't gone too much off the tangent with my reply, but i couldn't just give you a simple reply because that would've had to be something like "angel is the enemy and i don't like bangel" but as you can see my thoughts are a little more complex than that 😅

Most would believe that Andrew would die for Neil but for me, that's not the case. Neil would 100% do like Ji-Yeong (240) did in the series and trick Andrew into winning. I can see both versions, let me be clear. But Neil is the "fell WAY harder" of the two and this man walked through fire in a cult and subjected himself to torture willingly just because of a vague threat to Andrew's safety. I highly doubt he wouldn't be more desperate than Andrew to ensure the other wins. Not to mention, he's an S-tier liar and gaslighter as well lmao.

Andrew sacrifices himself 100%. But I can't decide if they do it fair and square or if he tricks Kevin. Like, in my head I know Kevin wins. He just has that survivor's luck but I can't figure out how since the only way I see Andrew dying for someone is by protecting them. So, by that logic I'd have to argue he dies getting shot by a guard maybe after Kevin loses the game but before he gets eliminated, Andrew reacts first?

Alright now for these two, I'm taking two things into consideration. Like the previous, Kevin has survivor's luck, I can't see him losing (this won't age well.) and also, Neil plays martyr. Gaius turns the word over in his mind. Pretty. He understands what pretty means. What he did not understand was how he could be pretty. He had been called many things in his life: bastard, handsome, brute – hunky, even – but never... pretty.

He stood before the sink mirror now, turning his head slowly from side to side hoping to catch a glimpse of what prompted his partner to feel this way. The calloused tips of his fingers ghosted over the beginnings of his beard, leading his eye to trace along his jaw. The creases framing his mouth bowed outward when he frowned in confusion.

Without realizing it, he had narrowed his eyes to take in his image. Gaius caught the deep wrinkles of his brows come together in the reflection. His eye bags had become more apparent over the last few days – the committee had been working tirelessly on carving out details regarding future Ala Mhigan trade – and the wrinkles that outlined them only served to emphasize his exhaustion. He had since sprouted new gray hairs. Not that anyone could discern them from the crown of grays he already wore.

Pretty.

Gaius stood back to look over his reflection once more.

Despite everything, Gaius turns away from the mirror as a small smile appears on his lips, he thinks I am pretty.

anyways. all of these are based on personal appeal and interpretation. but also my personal appeal and interpretation rules above all ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

5. Chapter 373: FRIENDS :)

Yeah duh, did you see how crazy we went when this entire chapter dropped? The only reason it isn't higher is because I'm holding on for my most grand theory to pan out (or for like. anything lmao).

Especially special chapter to me because the two things in the ShigAFO fight that have triggered Tenko/Tomura were a) questioning whether he has friends and b) his anger and hurt seeing the heroes give everything they can to save Bakugou when no one has ever extended that kind of effort to him. And then Horikoshi followed that up with a chapter specifically titled "Friends" wherein someone who has consistently demonstrated that he cares about Shigaraki gives everything he has, how little it may be, in a desperate plea to save him. Might mean nothing :)

4. The Last Time Shigaraki Was Allowed To Talk to Anyone From the League LMAO

Literally the last time Shigaraki had any direct interaction with anyone in the League (besides being on panel with them for 240 and ShigAFO trying to warn Dabi not to charge into the final battle like an asshole) was with Spinner and Twice in Chapter 231. Which is crazy and drives me to a frothing fury on a regular basis. But it's also a moment I care about a lot because a) Twice :)

And b) there's this little discussion between Shigaraki and Spinner that's not really shippy, but still demonstrates this brief moment of - fairness, partnership? Where Shigaraki asks for Spinner's opinion, and Spinner gives an honest evaluation of the situation. A cynical read might say that Shigaraki is figuring out if Spinner is going to ditch at this point, but Shigaraki tends towards being straightforward and frank. So it's nice to read it as Shigaraki genuinely wanting Spinner's input on their situation. Plus the fact that Spinner has stuck with Shigaraki throughout all the chaos as they fight their way through Deika is so sweet - remember how many people thought that Spinner would ditch the League when MVA was ongoing? Remember how people STILL wondered when Spinner was going to ditch?

Also not exactly cheating, I just want to call back to this moment from 224 where Spinner is the one who first clicks into Shigaraki's plan. Because of their gamer bond :) Between these two moments, I think we see that potential for synchronicity between them, as well as those early examples of Spinner's faith in Shigaraki's ability to lead the League.

3. Spinner Trying to Comfort/Check In on Shigaraki Post-SnS

I don't really have a big in depth reason for this besides the fact that it fills me with so much potent emotion. However while getting a screenshot I realised AFO was monologuing about his philosophy on friendship throughout. I am incorporating this into my most grand theory.

2. I'd Never Seen Anything Prettier...

Legitimately an insane moment that Bones WILL regret fucking cutting. But so insane, one day you're yelling at your terrorist boss about the gang's aimlessness, desperate to know where we're going, and 19 chapters later you get your answer. The warped, crumbling horizon of Chapter 239 is one of the It moments for Spinaraki, just a gorgeous scene with gorgeous commentary from Spinner. This moment was crucial to informing a lot of my early interpretations, of Spinner potentially having to decide between that promise of the horizon and the destruction of a society that has hurt all of them, or Shigaraki's health and safety, in case Shigaraki's actions turn self-destructive.

EXCEPT.

What I actually love more and think really enriches that climax is what we see from Spinner before all this.

As Machia rampages through Deika, demonstrating greater ferocity than when he was fighting the League, Spinner screams out for Shigaraki while being knocked down while fighting - and when Trumpet (beloved) decides to back out of the fight in order to get to Redestro, Spinner latches right onto the van and holds on for dear life into A Lot Of Destruction zone.

When the horror of the MVA adaptation was dawning on all of us, I had a bitch fit explaining the importance of Spinner's perspective and role as narrator, pointing out how it is that Spinner's changing feelings about Shigaraki as a leader and a person are the wraparound for Shigaraki's development this arc. I also referenced @stillness-in-green who pointed out how this arc was about how Shigaraki coming into his own as a leader and the Symbol of Fear looked to other people - Machi and Redestro are also there, awed by Shigaraki and pledging themselves to them.

Where Spinner differs is that this moment isn't the light switch for him on his Shigaraki opinions - it's a culmination of the past months. Shigaraki in the crater as Spinner waxes poetic is beautiful, but it wouldn't hit the way it does if Spinner wasn't already ride or die (literally). He care about Shigaraki before this, before he latched onto the van, before he ranted at Trumpet, before he saw Shigaraki barf after disintegrating a bunch of people - it was before the MLA ever got into contact with them that he was musing on Shigaraki's boyish smile while combatting Machia. It's good.

HONOURABLE MENTIONS BECAUSE I AM A RELENTLESS CHEAT

I already talked about brief moment when Shigaraki manages to order Machia and Spinner smiles.

Doki-doki

The VENERABLE Chapter 295 Hand Crowning Scene (plus Compress leaving Shigaraki to Spinner, and Spinner's realization that something is wrong with Shigaraki in the following chapters). It's beautiful and haunting and tender and sooooo ripe for angst. Only in the honourables though despite being a big deal because the AFO takeover means I've had to wait even longer for Shigaraki to interact with the League again :/

Not strictly Spinaraki but the energy of it. The flashback of AFO caressing Spinner's cheek when giving him more quirks. My dears has your father-in-law ever tried his shot on ya. Also as @codenamesazanka once noted it's SO different from AFO's normal quirk giving/taking like. Cmon.

Last honourable but certainly not least:

And now the moment you've all been waiting for. My Number One Spinaraki Moment (for now).

THEE Declaration Bonus Dynamic with Toga

It was obvious before this moment that Spinner had changed his tune on Shigaraki and was willing to keep following him, and this scene in Chapter 233 was the Official Declaration As Such. One might not know that, based on how he would still keep getting comments wondering when he'd ditch the League that have only recently waned.

But what always sticks out to me is the reference to Toga - I've got nothing I love, like Toga does. Nothing I really wanna do.

In Chapter 223, Spinner asks his Machia-battling buddy, Toga, why she's still with the League despite loving Stain and there being so little of his influence left in the League. Her answer is just: love. Being a part of the League allows her to pursue her vision of love without judgement (and there's a lot to say about the harm of Toga's love, both externally and internally, how it's impacted by her abusive family life and ostracization by society, but it's still love that's real for her and means everything to her, and that harm could have been mitigated if someone bothered to understand her and accept her).

(As a side note UGH there's so much you can do with Toga & Spinner. I've had a WIP for like two years now centering on them and it's driving me crazy.)

Spinaraki would never go like, makeout point-canon. It'll be a hell of a baller move on Horikoshi's part! Imagine how funny it would be! But the Shonen Jump ain't gonna go there. But in the hypothetical situation that it DID and we got a lot of people going, "Where the hell did this come from, I thought they were just friends why is it gay now", then this moment while fighting Trumpet would be what I point to.

Spinner says here that there's nothing that he loves like Toga, nothing that he really wants to do. But by 373, there is something he wants to do - he wants to follow Shigaraki, he wants to reach Shigaraki's side, he wants to see Shigaraki stand tall. It may not seem like much to someone else, but for Spinner who spent his life until now feeling empty and purposeless, it's everything. So now, who's to say he doesn't have something that he loves?

The Bids are Out!

Spoilers for Blue Lock Chapter 240 Below !

Most noteworthy stuff for me:

As expected, Nagi and Reo's bids went down. Rough stuff, but it actually made me excited to see - not only for their development, but it also raises the stakes for the PxG match and the NEL in general

Reo kinda got the short end of the stick with -4M difference; sure he probably didn't do much but as a midfielder, I'm sure he still did plenty of passing to Chigiri and working with the field? Doesn't make sense to me that he’d be lower than Kunigami who (in my opinion) has been kind of underwhelming for the entire NEL. I guess the difference in performance from last match really scared off investors. If anything, I think Chigiri should be slightly higher with Reo and Kunigami tied, but I guess this works better narratively for Kunigiri lol

Nagi makes a lot more sense, 88M from one goal was already overconfident, so to go from that to not making a single goal would crush anyone. Makes me wonder how Reo is gonna 'motivate' him, or if this is going to cause any kind of rift between their already fragile alliance

Rin's bid is almost double what Barou's was after both scoring a hat trick! Really wonder what the difference in their performances was to make Rin worth +80M more than Barou's hat trick (must've been TEARING UP the field 💀).

Okay, look, I am 99% certain this is a troll because in no way am I popular. But if you're serious here, I really wanna know how you're defining popular. Is it AO3 stats? Because I've only ever had one fic out of the 240 I've posted over the years break 20K. In terms of fandom popularity, that's laughable. The BNFs in this fandom can post a chapter and get that many hits in a week. So I hope you're not using fic stats for this, because that would be incorrect. (And to be clear, I do not want fandom popularity! People noticing me gives me hives. I took down that 20K fic lmao).

If you're defining popular as "this bitch is all over my dash all the time and people keep bitching about them in Discord servers that I'm in", well, that's what happens when you've had the same username for over 15 years! I've been on all the different fandom platforms since the early 2000s and I've never changed my name, so you can find traces of me everywhere. I've also been in a shitton of different fandoms. I also have had office jobs for basically my entire career, which means that I am online all the time simply because I'm already on a computer doing Day Job. It's not hard to pop over to Tumblr, stir up chaos, and then go back to my spreadsheets or code.

As for people bitching about me in various Discord servers: well that's what happens when you make fun of Remus Lupin. 😂 If you want people bitching about you in "private" (Discord isn't actually private y'all, screenshots exist) or subtweeting you on here, refuse to put a popular character on a pedestal and see what happens. i struggle hard. i get about $240 in child support a month, and if u total everything together, my car, my car insurance, gas, diapers, wipes, food after my food stamps run out, it doesn’t last long and i basically have no savings. while saying all this, before anyone attacks me for being poor and having children despite being poor, i wasn’t poor before domestic violence, and i chose my child over everything. i have always taken care of myself and my family, and now i can’t. many such cases. nothing is ever as black and white.

i will say i but my wipes and diapers from target, with a target account, so i earn money back, and whenever i earn enough back, i pick out small little toys. like he has a gardening set from target and a little car, bought entirely with points from buying diapers.

also, i have amazing friends. a little while ago, when my house flooded, a mutual sent me a large sum of money, with that money i was able to shop secondhand and purchase a lot of 2-4t clothes, meat, and things like oats, fruit i can freeze, and i’m still living off that. i do take advantage of the churches food banks (but i only take whole, real foods, never in cans or packages unless they’re like plain no seed oil raisins) not too long ago, i was able to pick out free clothes from a ministry, so i was able to get clothes that actually fit me:)

i relied on my tax return a lot for extra stuff like getting clothes, more activity sets that i don’t have to makeshift (i don’t mind doing this, like using cardboard for a little hands on activity set) but i have been “randomly selected for screening” by the IRS. LOL many such cases. i haven’t gotten my taxes at all.

basically, i struggle, and some times i get scared bc my car is old. i have amazing friends, lin, rayce, my mom LMFAOOO she’ll buy my child’s milk some times and some snacks that she knows i approve of. most importantly, i pray. and i put lots of faith in god to take care of us. i have a water dispenser, where i fill up water for around $5, three 5 gallon water containers last me around a month or so. i make my own laundry detergent, i have a costco card where i buy bulk toilet paper, use flour sacs as paper towels. i literally just try my best and it always ends up working out. i have debt for sure, like i have my car debt. but i don’t worry too much about it. i’m almost finished paying it off. i should really get into selling my precious moments figurines because i have hundreds.

thank u for such a good question. at the end of the day, i know we go without a LOT of things. but i know that gods earth is totally free, we can walk around the park and run for hours, and that’s our entertainment. i would much rather be with my child than put him in some state funded daycare and work for a dead end job that actually doesn’t care about me. i don’t pay attention to what we don’t have, but rather appreciate what we do have and love my sweet baby with all my being. i just want to be present for him. i don’t know if i’m making sense LOL. i’m sorry. but if i had to be honest, i would say, fuck a job, i’d rather be here with my son. i have been looking at farming positions, and maybe helping someone on their farm in the early mornings, i’d want to bring my child with. and at home positions (as crazy as this sounds) aren’t that much better. constantly in front of a computer would drive me absolutely batshit insane… and would still take time away from my baby. i’m just letting go and letting god. i hope this isn’t too crazy sounding :( i could rly ramble on about this topic!!!

She let out a deep sigh as she looked down at the sight in front of her, trying to keep her hand from shaking. The tremors were starting to make their way through her body, and Aelin really hoped that she was going to be able to keep it together for the sake of everyone, but mostly her’s. 

It wasn’t her fault. 

It was the idiot who was currently speaking to the police a few feet away to explain why in the ever-loving world he decided to run a red light and pretty much T-bone her car. Thankfully, it was a residential area and the speeds weren’t too high so she wasn’t hurt, but Aelin knew that her car wasn’t going to be salvageable. The entire passenger side was caved in, and Aelin wanted to cry.

She huffed, rubbing at her eyes, trying to calm herself down but the fear and anxiety was coming back in full force as the adrenaline passed.

Aelin glanced up as she heard a car slow down, only to immediately regret it because she probably looked like a mess, and she recognized the faces in the car.

“Yo! Is that Aelin?”

Been feeling raider-y for a while but didn't wanna make a new character. It took me like five years to get my current character to LVL 240. Not doing that again.

So I got my Settler-aligned boyo and just fucked him up. Now he's a Raider. Crater loves him despite the fact he gave all that gold to Foundation.

Kars is the leader of the Pillar Men, and also the creator of the Stone Masks.

The Stone Masks are Masks which if put on with blood splattered on it will turn people into fricking vampires.

His so to say "evil" plan is to evolve from his natural form to become immune to the sun's rays, and for this he needs to find the Red Stone of Aja to make his masks more powerful, to do this he tries to beat a lot of people and one of them is Joseph Joestar(obiviously the jojo of that time).

He is absolutely the smartest and strongest of all the Pillar Men. He created all the Stone Masks aaaand because of that, "artificial" vampires too so Kars is one of the more important characters in all the anime and manga!

Basically his invention, in the long run, caused all of the shit that happens in jjba lmao. It will affect the Brando, Joestar and Zeppeli families.

And to think a lot of people skip this season. Respectfully, go watch the fucking thing, this shit's important

Superhuman Senses He is able to hear anything from whale calls to bat screams. His vision is akin to an astronomical telescope (can you imagine that? That's so cool tbh)

Superhuman Strength Kars possesses incredible strength, estimated to be almost 900 kg/cm2 (mmm I'm having feelings about this idk what that meant but yes)

Regeneration Kars can heal any wound in a very short time I'M FAST AS FUCK BOIIII

Immortality Kars is immortal, invincible and nearly indestructible it seems. He doesn't age and he can survive only having himself as a source for everything (he's even ecologic would you look at that/hj)

Personal rambling and praising of the subject

I LOVE HIM. No no no no no. Love is too weak of a word. I ADORE his character. He's just so perfect, every time i see him on screen I flap my hands so much because of how excited I am, I know he's a mass murderer, I know he doesn't care for humanity, I know he's a dick but he's also my comfort character.

Every time I see something about him I freak out. I feel so connected to him for some reason. He's such a self assorbed bustard but I love it tbh. If I could draw anatomy well i'd draw myself with him a lot more but I could draw him decently like once or twice so yea... wryyy...

There are no words able to describe his character as beautiful as I see him fr.

His hair is perfect, I adore it, like bitch you been in there for 100,000 years and you're hair is majestic points to you for sure. He's elegant, petty and arrogant and A LOT of other things that just make him Kars and they are all so spot on. He's so well written I could feel him through the manga if I wanted to.

His powers are great, just great. I'd let him experiment with them on me fr. Example... super strength? Crush please and thank you.

I love his eyes, they're so cool, aswell with his makeup ofc.

38 cals - coffee

240 cals - chocolate protein drink

610 cals - spinach & mushroom mini pizza from cobbs, and a bowl of gumbo soup that i added steamed carrots and green beans to

395 cals - pb&j on protein bread

257 cals - strawberries & grapes plus 1 serving of vanilla greek yogurt to dip them in

daily total - 1,540 calories & 60.5g protein

this weekend was pretty bad calorie wise to be honest. on saturday i got a bagel and iced coffee for breakfast then wendy's for dinner, managed to go 800 calories over my budget. sunday i was only 200 over, but at least it wasn't from takeout.. just made way too big of a stir fry for dinner lmao. whatever. i'm glad i still tracked everything despite going over my calorie budget. i'm still slowly working my way back into a calorie deficit so not every day is going to be perfect. as long as i keep trying i'll get there eventually.

and even though i haven't been hitting my target every day, i'm still actually down 5 pounds this month. not the best progress lol but i'll take it. now that i'm going to the gym regularly again i'm hoping to make much better progress next month!
