okay currently reading only the brave by @solmussa on ao3 and when i tell you the song "sun to me" by zach bryan is so jegulus in that fic specifically-

like, look at these lyrics (also analysis contains some minor spoilers, nothing big)

like cmon. you can't tell me this isn't regulus talking to james. their relationship kinda starting when regulus was smoking at the party by the forest? the mention of a happy family like he never had? references to how james continues to see the good in him even after he does morally gray/wrong stuff?

and of course, the symbolism of james as the sun. literally a focal point of every jegulus fic ever.
