“Dude, pants,“ your roommate’s elder brother grunts as you make your way through the living room to grab a late-night snack from the kitchen.

Sam and you run around in your underwear all the time. You don’t want to jump his bones, and Sam is not into you.

You never had a problem with being half-naked around your roommate. That was until his grumpy brother decided to bunker at your shared house.

“I got pants on, Deano,” you coo only to rile the man occupying your couch at the moment up. “See.” As you point at your panties, Dean makes an odd noise.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Dean cocks his head to glance at your panties. “Open 24/7? Seriously? You can’t just show a man something like that. He could get the wrong idea, Y/N.”

“Like what?” you challenge, smirking cockily as Dean almost looks flustered. “Come on, tell me about all the wrong ideas a man could get, Dean!”

“Anyone could believe you want it all the time,” he grumbles as you look at his freckled face. His cheeks dusted with shades of pink now, Dean stares at your panties.

“Maybe it’s a simple truth. You know, we’ve got a hole down there to pee and all,” now he sucks in a breath. His emerald eyes flick up for a moment to meet your gaze. “Your little asshole is open 24/7 too, Winchester.” You point out.

He rolls his eyes as you turn around only to show him the same line printed all over your ass.

“That’s enough,” he jumps up to cover your ass the moment Sam walks into the living room. His hair is a mess. Your roommate is only in his boxers as you try to fend his brother off. Dean tries to cover your ass with the blanket you offered to him. “Sammy, look somewhere else! You shouldn’t see this.”

“Dude, what’s wrong?” Sam rubs his face with one hand. “I have seen more than her panties. We are living together for like four years. I have seen and heard things you wouldn’t believe. She did the same. We are cool with it.” You chuckle as Sam simply shrugs. “Jess knows I only have eyes for her, and Y/N knows I would never cross a line. She’s the same.”

“See,” you squeak and squeal as Dean changes his tactic. He wraps the blanket around your body to protect you from his brother’s prying eyes. “Dean! Stop this! Didn’t you hear what Sam said?”

“Yeah, but this doesn’t mean I let my baby brother stare at your perfect tits and ass all night. Even worse, your crotch. He’ll only get the wrong idea.”

“Perfect tits?” you smirk as Dean tries to keep you hostage in the blanket. You wiggle and grunt as he wraps it even tighter around your body. “You stared at my ass and tits, didn’t you?”

“No-what? Pfff…no way. Why would I stare at the goods?” He licks his lower lip, and grazes his teeth over the plush flesh. “You’re not that…uh…you know.”

“Dean, stop hitting on my roommate. I told you to keep your hands to yourself,” Sam points his index finger at Dean. “I won’t let you mess this up for me too.”

“Wait! You forbid your brother to hit on me?” gaping at Sam you don’t know how to react. “Hey, I can fuck whoever I want to Samuel cock-block Winchester. I never complained about the endless stream of chicks your brought home before you settled for Jess.”

“Wait!” Dean ignores his brother’s angry look. “You want to fuck me?”

“I was wearing nothing but a bra and panties saying, ‘open 24/7’ Dean. Do I have to spell it out for you before you jump the train or what?”

“Oh. Good…that’s good,” Dean chuckles, relieved you didn't want his brother to see you half-naked. “Sammy, I hope you can bear some more noises.”

You squeal as Dean grasps for you to throw you over his shoulder.

“About damn time, Winchester,” Jess chuckles as Dean runs toward your room with you hanging over his shoulder. “Be gentle. She didn’t get any for a few months. Girl needs a good dick.”

“Jess,” Sam mutters. “Don’t encourage him. What if he messes things up with her too? I will lose my best friend and roommate.”

“Sammy, the way they were eye-fucking each other tells me we will need noise-reducing headphones sooner than later…”

simon flinches when your needle breaks the tender skin of his brow. he’s lucky it’s not too deep, less chance for a nasty scar.

“he slapped your ass.” is his only reply.

your sigh is heavy, the puff of air ruffling the bangs that hang in his face.

“i’m an adult,” your fingers work quickly, “i can take care of myself.”

the statement has simon quirking his brow and you’re cursing him.

“stay still-“

“what were you saying last night,” he interrupts you, “ ‘s-sir, please, need you so bad’ was it?”

your mouth goes dry, face flushing in an instant. the smug, satisfied grin on simon’s face makes you physically angry. you want nothing more than to rid him of it, render him just as speechless as you are. unfortunately, he’s far quicker to the draw than you.

“where’s all the bite from earlier?” he questions and he’s lucky you don’t make his stitches any more painful than they need to be.

“fuck you.” you grit out, lips pulling into a thin line. you don’t want to entertain him any further but he’s got other plans.

“plenty of that later sweetheart.”

you pretend to gag.

“you’re not as smooth as you think you are.”

simon huffs a laugh at that, face aching at the pull of his lips into a smile.

“still gets you hot under the collar.”

you frown, tying your thread into a knot before snipping the loose end. he’s not wrong but you don’t think you could live with him having that satisfaction.

“you’re insufferable.”

simon lifts your chin up towards him with a bloodied knuckle.

“you love it.”

you roll your eyes.

“yeah, sure, whatever helps you sleep at night.”

“would you kick me out if i said it was you..?” he asks, tugging a clean shirt over his head. you stare at the way the material stretches across his back before meeting his glance from over his shoulder.

“no, but i would tell you you’re getting a bit soft.”

that makes him scoff and roll his eyes, lips ticked up in a slight smile.

“maybe, maybe not. i think i just like a warm bed and a nice ass.”

“SIMON! you’re such a jackass!” you cry out, cheeks warm with embarrassment.

He flashes you an apologetic grin, arms raised in defense.

“okay, okay. maybe i am getting soft,” he tugs you towards him by your wrist, “but i only have you to blame.”

Red Hood and bookstores

Red Hood aka Jason Todd is a crime/drug lord. This is established.

I would like to suggest that Jason launders the drug money almost exclusively through used bookstores he opens up throughout the poorest places in Gotham since it's not like he needs to make a profit with the stores so he can afford to do things like price used college textbooks at fifty cents a pop. They are open 24/7 because Jason understands the need to get the next book in a series at 3am when you've just finished the one you have. He also understands how it can be hard to find someplace warm to hang out in in the wee hours, especially when you're a kid dodging Gotham CPS aka basically human trafficking. Each one also has a tiny cafe area and employees are allowed unlimited coffee/tea/hot chocolate. Kids also learn that they can get the unsold baked goods for free when the goods are judged to be almost stale and thus unable to be sold. This is helpful to him since it means that he has a place to send the results of too much stress baking and if he has to bribe Tim into helping him deal with the ledgers of the stores all he has to do is promise Tim free drinks/snacks from any of the bookstores for a certain length of time as long as everything comes up clean in any audit that quarter. He'd go to Barbara but she's harder to bribe.

The bookshops are also useful because they are nice places for any of his goons to work when they want to get out of the goon life for whatever reason while they look for something more long term.

All of the bookstores have different names. Jason has gathered a number of favors from his family for, or was allowed to offer in place of a favor, the right to name one of the bookstores.

a female character isn't allowed to be a character that is also female. she isn't allowed her own agency and complex motives nor any deeper emotions without it being centered around the male cast around her or a child. even if she's not a mother, she remains one because she could always potentially become a mother or she is the ‘mom character’ to the men/children around her and her actions MUST reflect that. if they don't, she's labeled a selfish bitch. if she is an (actual) mother than that's all she is—she isnt allowed deeper characterization or discussion because thats all she'll ever be, that's all she was made to be. male characters are allowed to be fathers (lireral or in the sense of providing for the people around them) with deeper feelings but a mother? never a mother.

Solid Stone Turns To Clay by @randyzorra - MK fic

A solid Johnshi fic set in a pirate au, I'm absolutely obsessed with it. It's a beautiful slow burn, where Johnny is a disgraced bounty hunter who's trying to regain his fame by stealing The Shadow, legendary cursed ship. Ship that so happens to have a certain someone as her captain. Honestly not only I love the romance, but also the friendship between Johnny and Kung Lao and Johnny and Baraka.

Back There by houndhead - MK fic

Ehy, have you ever thought that Raiden wasn't there when the others went to Outworld to find Shang Tsung? Yeah what if they never told him what happened back there because of good ol' classic trauma? I'm in love with this concept and houndhead explores it in a very interesting way, showing us how each character would act after experiencing what happened at the lab. I also really love how the characters interact with each other, in the last chapter Tanya and Tomas are just perfect.

Raise The Blade (Make The Change) by cherrycola94 - MK fic

A very fun Johnshi fic that's written a little bit like a script, it has some added scene set before the game, some exploration of the canon through a Johnshi lense, ad finally it continues as a post canon, with a very fun story. While I was reading it I could see in my head the scene perfectly, like it was actually a movie. The second chapter has an AMAZING SCENE, like I was so in love that I have a wip of that scene. I should come back and finish it honestly. The new chapter had exactly the kind of scene I was craving for recently, I'm so happy they wrote it!

But I lowered my sword when you held me and swore (you'd stay, stay, stay) by @necromanticzz - MK fic

It's a johnshi fic with a Kenshi pov, where Kenshi has so many walls up doesn't want any help but Johnny just seems to be able to go through them without any problems. Honestly I also advice the other fic necromanticzz wrote about them, the way Kenshi gets chracterized in both of them is just *chef's kiss* perfect, beautiful, amazing. The two fics are just my favourite in the way Kenshi is written, applause all around, love it.

Koffee Shop Kombat by @loujitsushotsoup - MK fic

Because a classic coffee shop au is always needed. We have multiple ships, different writing styles between chaptes, changing with which character's pov we are following, and I love the creativity that was put in it. You maybe saw this post where I drew one of the scenes in this fic, so YOU KNOW that I mean it when i say that I love this fic. And I'm a big sucker for coffee shops as a setting, really love them in real life as well.

Cole's Chilli Recipe by @before-time-had-a-name - Ninjago fic

Another fic where I drew one of the scenes and it's because it deserves it. It's a lostshipping fic, very sweet, very cozy, honestly Cole and Geo make me incredibly emotional everytime and this fic also straight up picked me up and squashed me. I saw in some of the reblogs on my post that people went to check out the fic and I'm so happy about it because they deserve his work to be checked out. And honestly if I can give her more spotlight I will take the chance. Go check out this fic, it's very cool.

Here Comes Casey Jones by Invader_Sam - TMNT MM fic

Very sweet rasey fic that takes place post movie, with the turtles going to highschool and Raph meeting for the first time Casey Jones. What can I say? I just really love Rasey, and I love they're both clearly crushing on each other but they're not really saying it. And the fact that there's no unecessary teenage angst, they just really like each other, and I love that for them ❤

Think Of It As War Paint by less_depresso_more_espresso - TMNT 2012 fic

Another Rasey one, short and sweet, where both of them honestly are giving so much gender in my humble opinion. It's hard to explaning it without just saying all the fic, so we could say it's about them just chilling on a roof.

A Garden Across Our Collarbone by PittedPeaches - LMK fic

I think everyone and their mom already know this fic, and if you don't it would be my honor to talk to you about it. This for me is THE spicynoodle fic, it was one year of my life and honestly at the end of it I cried. This is a soulmate au, where demons sometimes have soulmates, and when that happen it's like they share skin, so they can write stuff on their body and it will appeared on the skin of their soulmate. It mostly starts like a rewriting of seson 1-2-3 by Red son's pov with this new dynamic, and then it becomes a new original timeline. The way this fic is everything to me, every chapter was an incredible experience, I fell in love with this fic at every chapter. So many beautiful scenes, written so beautifully, as I said this fic was 1 YEAR of my life. It was also a very difficult year, and I'm honestly so happy that this fic was there for that time of my life.

Desde el Principio by ShippingMyWorld - Nicktoons United fic

Okay idk If you saw me reblogging a bunch of Nicktoons fanart like two days ago, but just so you know I'm totally going into the rabbit hole of this fandom and I will be lost for a while. Now, this is a Danny Fenton/Manny Rivera fic, the tag has only two fics and both of them are from this writer.

I wish I had this commitment in my life, to just being THE ONLY one creating a specific content for something and still having the motivation of doing it

I read this fic last night, I finished it at 5 a.m. and I do not regret it at all, this was amazing

I actually recommend reading both fics because they are very good, I'm giving a shout out to this one because I think it's the one that made the biggest impact to me personally. ShippingMyWorld you did it, you converted me, I ship this now.
