Forgot to do this earlier but I just watched Dead Poets Society. Though at times it was boring, it certainly was an interesting film. I don't mind cliffhangers or open endings so much, so the ending was fine for me. The scene where Neil killed himself was beautifully done; it gave me and my friend a whole lot of suspense. Love everyone's reactions, as well. Mr. Keating was... alright, I guess. I don't have an opinion on him, though I do think he was misjudged and used as a scapegoat. From the start, the whole school gave me cult vibes, and the dead poets society did, too. It was an interesting film; I wouldn't mind rewatching it, but only for the latter half and scenes with Todd. I really, really like Todd. More than the others, anyway. I tried reading the book, but it was kind of hard to read and dialogue heavy, and the person I was reading it with found it boring as well. So we just skipped to watching the movie; although apparently it came first, so it was fine in the end. 8/10 imo

I just love how Madoka Magica is known for being a dark magical girl show and yes it is, but i love that at the end Madoka magica is actually pretty hopeful with it's message and how Madoka's character is handled specially. I could write an essay, but for now i just wanted to say how beautiful it is given it's mostly known for its dark themes yet it is one of the most hopeful and positive messages that it ends up with (or at least in my humble opinion)

(Even if Rebellion changes the rules of the game in a sense i find it delightful cause it explores into Homura which is my favorite character, i mean a whole movie centered around Homura yes please)

The fact that I actually really like Bungo Stray Dogs is amazing to me because it has like everything I normally hate??? It’s chock full of generic anime bullshit, made sexy anime characters based off of real historical figures, and references wars and societal issues in a way I find kind of insensitive- but holy shit it’s like. It’s good?? Like even with all that it’s genuinely well written?? It has this weird effect on me where I literally just get sucked in. I started the 4th season today expecting to realize I don’t like it anymore because I was literally in middle school when I first watched it, (and unsurprisingly thought it was like the coolest shit ever) but damn I was like 6 minutes into the episode and instantly just into it. Either it’s nostalgia, or I need to realize this series that made the weirdest story decisions I’ve seen in my life is actually very well made

Okay, so more work banter revolving around Ace Attorney, and this time, I feel like I need more opinions. 

So when AA7 finally happens, would it work as it has done before, that being one main story that swaps between character per chapter

OR

Have three separate storyline that focus on each protagonist, but have them intertwining with each other?

That way, we could get to play as Phoenix, Apollo and Athena all equally, with none of them, plus the secondary characters, being shafted to the side. But I was told this may make the game too long or loaded, and that it might get confusing or boring.

But I think it could work, we could even swap characters around to keep it entertaining. I want Phoenix and Trucy to work on a case together, it would be hilarious and adorable.  And  Athena and Maya together, my god, that trail would be a riot! XD

I just binged Geek Girl on Netflix and honestly it's one of the best cheesy teen tv shows I've watched in a while. Harriet is 100% autistic and I see so much of myself in her!

Although yeah, obviously everything has a happy ending which is very unrealistic given the circumstances it was very fun to watch! I was invested and most importantly I really enjoyed all the character work!

Often in these kinds of shows, nobody other than the MC gets any development/exploration but we get a small slice of everyone's life in a way that doesn't feel infodumpy. Every character felt like a real person who had their own goals/objectives that didn't centre entirely around Harriet.

Anyway! If you enjoyed Julie and The Phantoms, or are in the mood for something silly and sweet I definitely reccomend! :D

You know what - as brutal as it sounds I wish they’d left bobby in a coma over hiatus - they still could’ve brought Gerrard back to captain the 118 etc but we could also have had a much better arc for bobby than him magically waking up and being alright and back to work 3 days later - picking up after hiatus a couple of weeks on from the episode end - the firefam struggling under Gerrard and seeing the firehouse regressing and Bobby waking up in 8x01 and recovering before trying to take back the 118 from 8x02 onwards would’ve been much more powerful and given the story time to breathe
