My Hot Take on Parents with One Son and One Daughter
First of all, may all TERFs fuck off! Y'all are not welcome in any of my blogs!
I honestly hate parents who insist on having only one son and one daughter instead of two sons or two daughters (or even only one kid of any gender) because even though I don't care if you want to start a family, so many people tend to have only one son and one daughter and only for selfish reasons.
One of those selfish reasons is that in such families, girls are more often than not forced to be very sweet and docile at all times, wear girly clothes, go to grandma's house every weekend without complaining, go with Mommy to her favorite boutiques without complaining, wear designer clothes (especially haute couture clothes) 24/7 without fussing (even when they're just going to school), marry wealthy older men after reaching a certain age, obey their parents without question, dress up nicely everyday without fussing, go to church/synagogue without complaining and work in the kitchen all day while boys, on the other hand, can just get out there and do whatever the hell they want; therefore, boys can just run rampant, roam free, run wild and do tons of fun shit while girls just get turned into mini-adults. In other words, those families are definitely obsessed with strict gender roles!
Another selfish reason is that in those families, there are parents who deliberately refuse to raise their sons to be responsible, clean, well-behaved, mature, tidy, kind, well-adjusted, well-rounded and genuinely good people...all the while treating girls like criminals for purely being human. Those parents intentionally turn a blind eye on their sons' antics, habits and behavior and, thus, allow them to become bratty, immature, mean-spirited, spoiled rotten, messy, filthy, sinful, lazy, irresponsible and violent, especially towards their sisters. Those parents also allow their sons to not only make human mistakes, but literally get away with being disgusting monsters under this lazy, selfish, irresponsible cop-out excuse of "boys will be boys haha". As for the daughters, their treatment is usually different and not in a good way. In fact, every girl's free spirit is more often than not put into a very small cage and the same parents who unconditionally let their sons get away with everything may typically hyper-criticize their daughters' actions as "unladylike", "inappropriate", "not for girls", etc. and then when the girl naturally resists, her parents would end up abusing her and demonizing whatever little free spirit she may still have left, even saying that she's supposed to serve men at all times, that feminism is a farce, that they were going to strip her of all of her human rights until there's none of them left anymore (no matter how much that would hurt her), that she was awful as a person and that she should be ashamed of herself. Moreover, all the same things the boys can get away with, the poor girls will just get vilified for doing as the parents may continue to abuse their daughters, even to the point where the poor girls would eventually be all too broken down to try to defend their individuality because their parents refuse to separate themselves from this ever-vicious, toxic, male-dominated system called patriarchy. The patriarchy that they happily support.
Yet another selfish reason is that parents who have only one son and one daughter may usually get off on pitting their sons and daughters against each other in their process of refusing to teach them how to truly love and respect each other; they would also allow their sons to treat their daughters like shit and then intentionally refuse to protect the poor girls who would rightfully cry to them about it. These parents may also train and encourage their sons to abuse their daughters, the boys' own sisters, and literally enjoy it. And for what? What is their goal for this, you ask? To breed more and more generations of abusive sons and extreme doormats for daughters. All in the name of "siblings fighting all the time". I mean---this can happen in sons-only and daughters-only households too (yes, I get that), but with one-son and one-daughter household, it's truly terrible.
To make this long take short, I don't care if you have two sons or two daughters or even one son and one daughter; if you really want to start a family, you must be honest about it and then as soon as you have kids, you must love them equally, not separately!

for anyone who stumbles across my blog because i interacted with you, i need you to understand that i like whatever posts i like. i don't have time to click on every single profile to see if i'm "allowed" to interact or not. and expecting that of me, or anyone else, is frankly ridiculous.
if you don't want certain people interacting with your posts (and let's be real, liking a post is barely an interaction to begin with), then the internet is not for you. people are going to engage with the content they want to engage with. you cannot control who sees your posts, unless it's a private account that you only let certain people see.

I love it when women hate men. I love it when women are allowed to vent to each other about how horrible and creepy men are. I love it when women form friendships with and prioritize each other over relationships with men(whether they're attracted to them or not). I love it when women put men dni in their bios and on their nude photos and on posts on their blogs. I love it when women refuse to mollycoddle and accommodate entitled male feelings with "but this doesn't mean I hate all men, I know a few men who are great, I love my father/sons/brothers/uncles/male cousins/guy friends" I love it when women complain about men WITHOUT "not all men" being a disclaimer. I love it when women avoid socializing with/refuse to be around/befriend/get close to men because they know men can't be trusted. I love it when women make "kill all men" jokes. I love it when women offer absolutely no concern or care for men's feelings and if their misandry offends men whatsoever because why should we, men are the oppressor class who have raped and killed and abused us and kept us as subjugated as second-class citizens for millennia, they regularly mistreat us and the women in their own marginalized communities still every single day and make this world so much harder and more awful for us to be in, and if we choose to hate them and not spare them any sympathy then so be it, and I don't just mean "men as a class" either, you can be a woman who doesn't want to have anything to do with any man on an individual basis and completely cuts off men from her personal life too and ykw I will love and fucking support you in that because men deserve absolutely NOTHING from us. If they're so tough and strong then they can handle it just like they can handle being lonely. If you are a woman who hates men, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A LESBIAN AND/OR A TRANS WOMAN, then just know that I love you. I love you, I support you, and you are safe here.

will you ever draw masc sirius? not to compare artists but recently i've just noticed masc sirius pics get more notes and ppl get more pissed off bc of fem sirius. it's ok if you draw fem wolfstar (fem sirius AND fem remus) but it's kinda weird you only draw remus masc. kinda heteronormative. when wolf is gay. plus canonically sirius was masc and remus was fem (sirius was the biker and remus was short.) it's ok you're more into fanon but canon is real so i'm just curious if you will ever draw masc sirius. if you will it'll be very cool and i'm sure you'll get more notes too.
This is the LAST time I'm going to be talking about this because I'm so TIRED of this debate.
Firstly, the "canon" you speak of is written by this person. So think before you start arguing anything about canon.
Then, since apparently some of you still cannot read. I DO NOT DRAW FOR YOU; I DRAW FOR ME. I could not care less about notes or likes or popularity. I'm just here to have fun and enjoy my time. That you are so concerned about notes is your own problem, not mine, but I suggest you change that because notes do not equal any sort of value, and this mindset is just going to be bad for anyone's mental health.
My favourite thing as a person whose gender is literally all over the place is getting to express that through the characters I draw. For ME, this mainly happens through Sirius because his "canon" is this very HETERONORMATIVE man. The freedom of him being able to step away from that and to be allowed to be whatever he wants to be on that day is just wonderful. Sirius, for me, is a reminder that no matter what you're born as or whatever people say you should be, it does not say anything about how you feel or express yourself.
Remus will forever keep evolving for me. He's also allowed to be whoever he wants to be. When I read fics he looks different in every single one. And if you actually paid attention to my art, you can see that he does not always look the same. For me, Remus is a comfort. He will always be a long, wet noodle with bad knees to me. He will always have his scars and his freckles, and those are what make him beautiful. I'm not sure why people immediately assume this is something that makes him "the man" or "the top". If that's what you're thinking when you see them, then there's something gone wrong on your side because you are deciding what a queer relationship is supposed to look like, when in fact you are the one being homophobic and heteronormative.
Also that my Sirius is shorter and more gender-y so to say, does not mean he can't kill a bitch on sight. He could break Remus in half in a second if he wanted to.
Anyway, I'm off to draw some dead gay wizards in whatever way I want to <3 love you guys. Truly the majority of you make me feel safe and seen, and I couldn't have wished for a more supportive community
