Okay I just HAD to devote the full Alibert inn scene from episode 5 here CUZ WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT YUGO GOING BACK TO EMELKA!! I know I already mentioned Chibi and Grougal (as well as the tree Tofu tower) in part 1 but part 2 will basically be about all the rest of the inn scene cuz tumblr couldn’t let me have more than ten images per post (I know the site apparently lets u have more but I always use the phone for it so shush.)

But first, we finally get to see Alibert again after all those years 💕

Alibert. Sweetie. Baby. You can take care of two (technically four) kids with the addition of a freaking INN, you COOK for the customers, AND, ON TOP OF ALL THAT, you’re the MAYOR of EMELKA, that same place where you run the inn and take care of your adopted sons.

You do much more than just “taking care of an inn”, you got three jobs AND you’re still sane. You’re three in one, a whole package, props to you king. He’s such a boss ass man I love him 💕💕

Love how Yugo doesn’t say that same shit to Ruel after all those years of cooking for his ass and never getting anything from him.

Like even the whole Brotherhood calls Ruel a “cheapskate” but the only time where we see Yugo say that same shit is when he says that to his own CUSTOMERS?!?

Okay now the next part of the Alibert inn scene is very important to me so listen.

Recently, I came scrolling on @moths-are-better’s recent posts about Yugo and I came up on the one where he drinks the “milk” that was in the cup in the scene below.

But like-

@moths-are-better STOP LYING TO YOURSELF THIS IS CLEARLY WINE!!!

Look at all the other people drinking in the inn before they left: they all had that same kind of cup, insinuating that they were drinking wine (and also cuz they confirmed it was wine while trying to avoid any possible future inflations with Alibert).

I just love how Ankama deliberately shows us small scenes like this to remind us that Yugo can do adult things even though he looks like a kid. Because THIS is one of those scenes! Just look at how Alibert quietly pulls the cup of wine away from Yugo as soon as the guy starts ranting about his problems.

That’s clearly not milk lol I just love your delusions @moths-are-better 💕💕

But not only did this scene made me realize that nothing can stop Yugo from doing adult things despite how he looks, it also helped me realize that Yugo is the type to only drink when he’s having problems. We clearly see him about to drink more while ranting to Alibert before he carefully pulls the wine away from Yugo cuz he KNOWS Yugo would drink more just for that.

That level of attention to detail is amazing and I’m so glad I managed to catch up to the hints early on.

Alibert be looking like Yugo’s bartender AND therapist in just that moment alone lol

Ngl I would’ve loved to see a drunk Yugo if he had been able to drink more before Alibert intervened.

His caring and calming attitude towards Yugo and the way he just treats him, cares for him, and acts like a responsible parent during all these years really makes me wanna do the same thing someday. Alibert is so good at his job(s) that he’s even beating a freaking goddess. Let that sink in. (actually any good parent like Alibert would beat the Eliatrope goddess’ parenting easily lol)

Alibert is genuinely so sweet, patient, thoughtful, and understanding of Yugo. Like even though he just heard Yugo say he finally found his true family, Alibert doesn’t take his words as insults and would rather just let him spill out all of his words to him.

When I said I missed these two like this, I really meant it. This inn is not only where Yugo was raised in but it’s also Yugo’s comfort place.

My ass knows this is foreshadowing.

It just knows.

Older Yugo where u at? We need to talk.

General Simon brainrot sketch page :3, as per usual, explanations under a cut. Apologies if my posts tend to be kinda huge and difficult to scroll past, I try to do the cuts to make sure they do the least inconvenience to anyone! (>-< ;)

Expression practice! Simon is feeling the weight of his situation rn alas :(. I’ve always imagined him being panicked the whole game; the overarching entire game timer really gives a pretty good feeling of dread imo. The two doodles at the bottom were attempts at multiple ideas I’ve seen floating around about the curse, but they’re kinda bad in execution looking at them no tbh. But the first one is based on the idea that the curse gives some vampire traits like sharp teeth and would probably lead to proper vampirism if he were to die from it. The second was general attempt at like skull practice and comparing facial features to skull structure, but oh my god the page kept smudging and I tried making it look ok with some random blood on there but it just made it look even sillier 💀.

These next two are based on two random like liminal space images I ran into on Pinterest and I drew them mostly because I suck at backgrounds and idk Simon’s Quest itself is like Castlevania: Liminal Space Edition a lot of the time, so it fits X,,,,D. The first one I really liked the composition of the path on the far side contrasted to the trees. Imagine the water is the purple cursed swamp :3. Hopefully Simon has laurels just standin around in there.

This second liminal space for Simon to be in was this neat nighttime photo of a graveyard! Trees are HARD TO DRAW, especially just in pencil and a solid black background. There’s blood on the ground and stuff cause he was just fighting some monsters, probably those two headed lizard guys. It’s the awkward stillness after clearing out an area of enemies.

The pose for this one is based on the LOL~lots of laugh Miku figure lmao 💀💀💀

Simon is very fun to put in exaggerated poses! Especially cause you have to exaggerate them more to get the same ratio of pose to negative space because muscles and armor. I had no idea how to make metal belt armor thingies sit in a like legs up floating sort of pose like this so they kinda bend a little weird but eh he looks cute otherwise. The other doodles present are one that says “brainrot” which is kinda making fun of my own dedication to an NES character 💀 and also cause haha rot like the curse. Also, teeny tiny Simon with a heart!!! :3

Yippie! Simon posing again! I think the first pose was inspired by this like random old anime style angel figure??? Idk I think she was just an original character figure and the pose was pretty different, I just used the reference mostly for the arm position. Anyway, he’s vibin, just sitting curled up and momentarily comfy. Alas, the horrors persist in the second doodle that was an attempt at showing how the curse kinda deteriorates him but he just kinda ended up having a scarily snatched waist and it looks more stylized than like sick. Also the armor kinda bends around him in a way that makes it look like it shrunk with him which is so dumb lmaooooo (XwX). I’ll have to revisit the concept eventually idk, just look at his face for this one XD. Hahaha tiny doodle based on Larval Rin on the left there, nothing to see here—

The main doodle is just Simon looking into the distance bewildered and holding the whip, standard stuff. There’s also a side profile doodle and an attempt at drawing crying again cause I was getting kinda rusty at both of those things.

Simon Belmont but if he was 2000s anime lol. A fun little style experiment, I might keep this as like another secondary art style. There’s also some doodles of a hanged man skeleton, the eyes of Vlad, a skeleton hand, and a couple little chibi Simon’s of various expressions.

More 2000s anime Simon, but in a more silly way like the art style change for joke sections. One is him just goofily holding up Dracula’s head, but it’s contrasted immediately with a more gritty usual art style doodle of him with harsh shading lol. Get you a man who can do both I guess 💀

I gotta practice more on backgrounds and composition and stuff, probably also get some curse effects consistent augh. Lately I’ve been on and off working on random things or just staring into space tired, getting back to using social media is hard and an exhausting uphill battle unfortunately (_ _ ;). Sometimes I feel like I should probably split these up into multiple posts to make things more visible and to put more focus on specific drawings, but idk I don’t really want to, it just feels weird to me breaking up a doodle page like that, if that makes sense??? Eh idk.

I'm back to inflicting pain. skk Valentine's week day 5: soulmates. @bsdfanweek canon compliant. (in a longer fic, i would add post dark era scenes and have the ending be more ambiguous. but for this....it's just. pain)

Chuuya is seven years old when he wakes up.

He’s alone, cold, with no knowledge of what came before or what comes next. All he knows for sure is that tied around his pinky, is a bright red string. It’s thin as a strand of hair and seems to stretch on endlessly. It’s like a beacon, but he doesn’t know where to or why. He tries to take it off, but it only tightens. 

Frowning, Chuuya decides he has nothing better to do than try and follow it.

At eight years old, Chuuya learns what a sandwich is. 

He’s teased for it, but he also learns so much more. He learns what it means to be around people, to want to protect, and how to be protected. He learns that he has strengths that scare those around him, even if they won’t admit it. 

“Oh, these?” Yuan says one day when Chuuya blurts out something about the red thread. “Most people can only see their own, but I can see them all.” She giggles, young and carefree despite it all. “Rumor says it leads you to your soulmate.” 

Chuuya leans forward. “Soulmate?”

“Yeah, I guess they’re, like,” she scrunches her eyebrows together. “They’re like someone who is destined to love you. No matter what.” 

“Wow,” Chuuya says. There is a heavy weight on his shoulders, ratty clothes on his back, and a sharp need to destroy seeped into his bones that he can’t place. But, he is also a child. “That’s amazing.”

Chuuya is twelve and covered in blood and bruises. 

He looks down at his pinky. Too good to be true, he thinks.

Chuuya is fourteen when he is proven right. 

In the middle of the night, fire races across his ribcage. The flames weave in and out of the spaces between, finally encasing around his heart. Lurching up, Chuuya tries to catch his breath. The flames seem to smolder, just a bit, but then if feels like something is cutting his pinky clean from his knuckle. 

Chuuya looks down, sees a bloody stump where a string used to be, and throws up.

Chuuya is fifteen when realization hits him with the full force of his own gravity. 

Dazai Osamu, with his irritating words and lifeless smile, manipulates Chuuya into his life. Which is fine, he thinks. Two can play at this game, and now, at least, he seems to have some agency over his life. Now, he can learn what it means to be a leader without fear of someone stabbing him in the back, or without the fear of his power being used against him. Besides, there is no better way to learn how to kill someone than to be in forced proximity to them often.

Which leads to the discovery. Chuuya stares at Dazai’s hands, unsure how he never noticed before. Maybe it’s because the bandages always distracted him, or that Dazai wore his black coat like a cape that swallowed him whole, or maybe because Dazai’s hands usually are most visible when they’re holding a gun or otherwise carving suffering upon someone. 

But now, as Dazai lounges with a game in his hand, Chuuya can’t stop seeing it. 

Without looking up, Dazai says, “It’s impolite to stare, you know. Honestly, did no one ever teach you any manners?” 

Chuuya can’t even muster a retort. His eyes are glued to Dazai’s left pinky. Or, rather, lack thereof. 

In the resulting silence, Dazai lowers the console and looks at Chuuya. His expression is bored, one eye a swirling mass of darkness. “Oi, chibi, are you in there?” 

“Your hand,” Chuuya says before he can stop himself. 

“Hmm?” Dazai looks confused for the faintest moment before he looks down and lifts said hand. “Oh, this?” He wiggles what remains of the appendage. 

Chuuya’s throat is dry. It constricts as bile tries to work its way up. “What happened?”

“What, curious about me?” 

Finally, finally, Dazai’s teasing lilt pulls Chuuya from his trance. “Shut the hell up. I’m leaving.” 

Chuuya is halfway out the door when he hears, just barely, Coward.

At sixteen, Chuuya gives up any hope of finding proof of his humanity.

Though, when Dazai thinks Chuuya doesn’t notice, he can see the flickering look of confirmation reflected there. He can hear, through the grapevine, that despite all the shit he says, Dazai believes in it. He can see a boy with a bleeding heart, held in his hands with no idea what to do with it, believing in something so fiercely, that it sparks something in Chuuya’s chest.

His phantom pinky aches.

At eighteen, Chuuya is left behind again with no thread to guide his way.

Wallpaper requests!!

I had the idea of doing wallpapers for people’s phones. So that being said if anyone has a favorite character that they want a wallpaper on you can just put it in my inbox or message me below. Also just so you know you can also have a color theme with the character background so it could be a certain flag or flag color scheme. These will be free but do keep in mind because of this fact it will take a bit to get to it. But I will try to be quick with them. Please understand as well that these will have my art in them so if you are not a fan of my art then either don’t ask or request it’s specificly without my art and instead the original character because I will not use artwork from random creators. On RWBY's Klein Sieben, and system jokes...

When looking for more information about Klein's DID, I found this post which bothered me for several reasons. The post was about RWBY's depiction of mental health overall, and it made a lot of good points on other disorders, and a lot of bad points.

But I only care about the part on Klein.

First, I think that it's silly to expect mental disorders to be called by name in a fantasy setting. In contemporary settings, you should absolutely confirm disorders the characters have by name. But hearing someone talk about DID, PTSD, Autism or Schizophrenia is going to immediately take you out of a fantasy story.

It's the same reason Shallan in The Stormlight Archive is only technically confirmed to have DID outside of the story.

But my bigger problem comes down to the argument revolving around using the disability as a joke. The reason is that these are the same types of jokes systems make all the time.

I've been in the plural community for a couple years, and jokes about not being able to decide on little things with the rest of the system, or sharing personal experiences where one headmate will order something at a restaurant only to switch out and leave the next headmate with a plate of something they don't actually like, are super common.

Plenty of system jokes and memes utilize this same premise.

In a comedy show like (the non-canon) RWBY Chibi, it makes sense for similar jokes to be made using a similar premise as well.

So what is the issue then? If systems make these same jokes about themselves, is it WHO is making the jokes? Are system jokes only acceptable when they come from verified systems?

Pluralphobia And The Danger of Gatekeeping Who Can Make Plural Jokes in Media

I can understand that some people are burned and are wary of how singlets will handle plurality in media.

I think that there's an idea with some that if you're not a system, then you can't write jokes about systems or plurality in media. And I think this thought process is extremely dangerous to the plural community.

It places actual plural writers into a position where the only way they're allowed to write about plurality is by publicly disclosing their own to the world.

This is dangerous with any sort of plurality. Whether DID, tulpas, spiritual, etc. Publicly revealing that information can endanger your relationships with friends and family. It can make you a target of harassment. (Look at what happened to Aimkid.) It even can endanger job prospects.

In the case of disclosing DID, this would be disclosing that you likely had severe trauma as a child, which could lead to public denial from family members who didn't know, or were themselves responsible.

An environment where plurals have to be out of the closet to make plural content is a dangerous one for everybody.

The Solution: Combating Singlet Normativity

Here's my solution: Criticize every work of media that features plurality with the understanding that someone in the writer's room could be plural.

Currently, we live in a singletnormative world where everyone is assumed to be a singlet unless otherwise specified. We need to break this perception. We need to do this by normalizing systemhood.

And statistically, it's not like it's that improbable. Some high estimates of DID show it appear in as much as 3% of the population. There are several writers involved in RWBY. And plurals tend to be drawn to writing plural characters, making it statistically more likely at least one of the people who created Klein could have DID or OSDD themselves.

Maybe one or more of the writers have DID. Maybe they don't. But if you treat every writer as if they're a singlet when you don't know if they're plural or not, because you see singlet as the default, you create an environment where closeted plurals can't write about their own experiences in fiction.

The Importance of Klein

In the RTX video that confirmed Klein had DID, the person asking the question had DID themselves and talked about how happy it made them to see someone like them. To get a character they could relate to, one that's not portrayed as a villain as so many other DID characters tend to be in media.

Maybe Klein isn't perfect representation, and I'm sure some people will take issue with some aspects of his portrayal, but no representation is ever going to be perfect.

What matters is that Klein presented a character that some DID systems out there could relate to and see themselves in, in a way that doesn't stigmatize or demonize the disorder. And on top of that, he's a beloved character by most of the fandom which can hopefully build acceptance of real life plurality. And that's something that should be celebrated.

This Plural Acceptance Week, I would love to help create a positive environment in the plural community that encourages systems to write their own Kleins. To make the next character that systems can connect with like this person connected with Klein. Whether DID systems, endogenic systems, tulpas, daemonists, etc. We should strive to support positive plural characters in media where we see them.

Springtime Snowy Mountain Frame (Handcrafted)

Today we have another piece from my favorite ultra light clay artist.

I had previously bought a scene-in-a-frame from this artist that was a little smaller, and a little more chibi style (Mid-Autumn, Snow Mountain Edition):

I really like the cute chibi style - you know cutie smiling figs are my weakness! But, I saw this little frame in her store and was immediately taken by how sweet the scene was. I do prefer full body figs, chibi or otherwise, so this half-body size was something I had to wrap my head around. Eventually I was like, wait, why am I dithering around about this? It made no sense! So I stopped, and tossed it into my cart.

The fig maker sent it in a hard box, and also well wrapped and padded to protect it. Additionally, once I unwrapped the plastic there was some synthetic cotton batting all around the figs. This is the infamous "pearl cotton". Why infamous?

Let me tell you, I was pulling out microscopically small, invisible coils of this stuff for AGES. I kept thinking I had gotten everything, and then I would take pictures and find a big coil threaded through their hair or curling around their neck, or tucked into one of those little folds.

The plaque wasn't affixed very strongly to the frame, and freely moved around. It ended up being held in place mostly by the little flower branch. I can't take this kind of anxiety, so out came the glue.

Before I fixed it into place, though, I thought I'd take a few pics so you could see the detail that it was hard to get otherwise.

Here we have the underside of the layers and layers of robes. Just amazing detail.

Without the frame I was able to get the best shot of Lao Wen's face.

I glued the piece down, and it's pretty solid. This thing isn't going anywhere anymore!

These little displays aren't easy to photograph, so I'm going to do my best to try and get as many angles as I can.

Here we have A-Xu's beautiful face with his hair utterly perfect, and the a rosy bloom in his cheeks. His hair really is amazing here, with some individual strands arranged into his neat high bun. He's also wearing a beautiful white pin in his black hair. I very much think of this as his married hairstyle!

A close up of the painting on the faces. I don't know how this artist manages to get so delicate a look, but she does an incredible job.

Here we get Lao Wen's mass of white hair, pulled back in his simple mountain hairstyle. A-Xu's hair also looks great from this angle! I also really like the open expression on his face - he looks light and free of worries and cares.

Lao Wen looks singularly focused on A-Xu's beautiful face. Who can blame him?

The top down angle gives a lot of nice detail on their hair styles - you can really see the bangs and the the wispy, soft look of the twists of hair. That hairpin alone is just so delicate.

So underneath this readmore are the more problematic Chibis I mentioned in my last post (link to that here)

They're underneath here due to both whitewashing characters (Piston Hondo and Don Flamenco) and depiction of racist caricatures (Two of the fictional characters, Doc Louis and Bald Bull, and one of the real life Mike Tyson).

I do encourage you to view this if you can handle such material, as I believe recognizing and acknowledging the racist past of the Punch Out game series is important (as it is in any media with problematic elements), however I understand if you cannot due to triggers or otherwise.

Which, I feel I must add, Bald Bull would consistently be depicted with the racist caricaturized lips in both games and advertisments up until Punch Out!! Wii (but alas I cannot provide examples due to Tumblr's photo limit)

Now let me say, my intentions in making this post isn't to say that you can't be a fan of Punch Out; in fact, I still consider myself a fan of the series even after seeing this.

I just think it's important that we, as a fandom, recognize Punch Out's racist past instead of ignoring it. Especially since such depictions have caused harm to real people.

The series has come far, especially thanks to the Wii's strive to characterize the boxers past their stereotype-based personalities and even let their characters speak with their native tongue. But the history of the game series still happened and it's best we don't forget that.

i just finished the first season of link click and what the fuck?? this series is amazing. almost every episode made me cry, and the show just kept getting better and better. sorry to come to your inbox and ramble, but your posts made me want to check out this show and i just wanna say that i appreaciate it <3 i have sooo many feelings haha

love how you described it bc you're so right, it does keep getting better!!! the first season is truly so so dear to my heart because all the emotions are so raw, you know? it's honestly such a masterpiece in show writing with the way it tricks you into thinking it's a fun episodic show and then it's just one punch after another and everything is revealed to be interconnected at the end like it's insane??

i can't wait for you to experience s2!! it has a very different vibe to s1 since it's more linear and action-packed but in a way that doesn't stray far from the show's core, if that makes sense? the animation really stepped up and the storyboarding in some eps felt very experimental and unique which was fun to see! also the music literally never misses as always. just a heads-up bc it can prob feel like a big shift but it's worth it by the end i prommy

also i'd rec watching the shorts before you watch s2 so you get the full experience! they're not really connected plot-wise, but there are several easter eggs from the shorts that you'll miss otherwise and they add so much flavor. don't be deceived by the cute chibi art style and 5 min duration btw bc some of those eps can and will inflict emotional damage like you would not believe

hi! finally posted this, i made it like a week ago. anyway, i think i would have some extra powers, as a treat.

first of all, enhanced spidey sense. i don’t only perceive near danger but FUTURE danger as well. basically i get visions, premonitions, prophecies, whatever you wanna call them. they are always about danger and there IS a way to change them. i dont know how that would work with time and space continuum and all those complicated things, but who wants logic, boring!! (i’ll solve the plot hole soon, dw 😭🛐) (if any of y’all have any idea how to solve it, pls tell me)

i would be able to break the 4th wall cuz i constantly do irl anyway,, sometimes life follows a specific storytelling pattern and has very notorious plot armor and that makes me think “huh… weird”

i would also have sensitive senses, and that includes night vision! (i already have sensitive hearing irl and it’s a nightmare! good luck void-crawler). i could also “change” my appearance? i would not physically change it, but i would release some kind of chemicals or stuff that would make people see other thing. this is inspired by the ant mimicry spiders do. spiders DO change physically, but i think mine would be just psychologically. idk, i thought that would be cool :P

the design of my spidey suit is inspired by, spidey of course, but also by deadpool’s suit. cuz i’m obsessed with both of them atm, so had to add that to my story 👍 AND IT WILL MAKE SENSE STORY WISE MUAHAHAHA! cant wait to tell y’all the backstory.

Idk how I just realized that Oikawa and Suga are both nickname people but with completely different styles. Suga uses nicknames almost exclusively in game settings where he comes up with dramatic over the top things like "block crusher. I think he might've used one to annoy Tsukki once too but otherwise, he doesn't really use them in his normal life and when he uses them in matches, it's a result of how adrenaline filled he is and are otherwise complimentary and goodhearted. Oikawa, however, uses them to cause maximum annoyance to the person he's referring to because he thinks it's funny to annoy people OR just generally derogatory ie "refreshing-kun". He also like actually uses them the way nicknames are used, ie in liu of their actual name. For instance, I don't think he refers to Hinata by name until maybe the Brazil Fling. It's always some variation of "chibi-chan" or "Karasuno's runt". I think he just doesn't like using people's names lmao.

Anyways, point is, you know if oisuga date post-timeskip, Oikawa would be using the cutesiest, most gag-worthy nicknames out there on purpose while Suga would come up with questionably just as corny names when Oikawa's in a match. Though in this scenario, I also think Suga would retaliate with the awful nicknames outside of games too because why not

You remember a few days ago you responded to that post about Donnie being a separate entity from Galois.

Well, you know about OK K.O? that cartoon created by Rebecca Sugar's husband that was unfairly cancelled because CN executives neglect almost everything but TTG? Well (SPOILERS) One of the most important plot points of the series is that the protagonist develops an alternate personality which embodies all the characteristics he doesn't like about himself, but which at the same time is, like, way more powerful than he is. Anyway, at one point the alternate personality takes over and the protagonist becomes a prisoner in his own body, TL:DR at the end the two personalities make peace and merge in a nice metaphor of self-acceptance.

I swear as I was reading I was imagining Galois and Donnie in a similar situation, K.O and T.K.O are the same person, as are Donnie and Galois, except the last ones have different memories. I don't think Donnie would hate Galois, at least not genuinely, but he couldn't help but have negative feelings towards him either, Donnie knows it's not Gale's fault, but the frustration combined with the helplessness, as this version of himself take control of his life and swallow all those lies... I wouldn't put it past Donnie to get to a point where he might hurt Galois just to get to Draxum.

(As I was writing this I realized that the person who helps create the alternate personality of the protagonist in Ok ko is also his father, who also happens to be a scientist specializing in biology, WHO ALSO happens to be Gay, well, bisexual).

Cartoon must have a deal with DC or something to constantly shove TTG down everyone's throat because I have never met anyone who actually thought it was a good show. Even kids in its target age range are at most 'meh' about it. It's just bizarre otherwise.

And you know, I find it real ballsy of them to try and recapture the success and acclaim of the original Teen Titans when they fucking cancelled the first series over a toy deal. It would be like Nick trying to put out a shitty chibi version of Rise in 2030 and whining because no one wanted to watch it. Let people make good shows, coward.

Ah, I haven't actually seen it, but that description does remind me of another character. But mine's kind of like

...Yeah. This is Dog or God, depending on which personality is in charge. He's not a zombie, he's a super mutant (a nightkin, but explaining the difference would involve explaining the plot of Fallout 1) and he's not supposed to look like that.

Dog is the slave of this asshole named Elijah, small-minded and suffers from violent outbursts and ravenous hunger. God is his voice of reason and restraint. Which doesn't mean he's on your side-if anything, God is much more difficult to work with because he actively antagonizes you. He sees Dog as a little brother he needs to protect, while Dog thinks of God as an intrusive voice in his head. All those scars are from Dog mutilating himself, even going so far as to shove his arm into a bear trap to keep the voice at bay.

It's never stated which identity was the original. Elijah thinks Dog is a second gen super mutant, who are intentionally made stupid (for lack of a better word) during the mutation process to make them more obedient soldiers, but God proves himself to be first generation, who generally have human intelligence. Yet nightkin are almost universally mentally disturbed as a result of their mutation and stealth radiation exposure, and super mutants are often shown to have voracious appetites and eat humans. His big finale takes place with Dog trying to kill himself and God frantically trying to save him, and you can either kill him, bury one of the consciousnesses, or reunite them and let him figure out for himself who he is.

...Looking at all that, it looks more like Tigerclaw if Tigerclaw had a split personality disorder.

But in general, Galois is not a split personality nor a separate consciousness from Donnie. He's just Donnie. He remembers things different and yes that's changed him a little, but Leo and all the other characters aren't the same people they were at the beginning either. It would be a lot easier if Galois was just some other guy living inside his head, but nope. It's all been Donnie.
