I also wanna personally thank Serg Acuna for helping me figure out Dick's anatomy and hair. I have been struggling so hard with drawing Dick and it finally feels like something clicked right in my brain this time.

I had a fun color palette idea where you pick a couple colors from a character and then crank the saturation up to 100% (+ no greys!!!)

I'll probably use these at some point but they're also free to use with credit :)

ok ok i was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did!!!! I really liked trying to make the face look good by playing with how i placed the highlights and shadows and im honestly very proud of how this looks 👍👍👍

#palette challenge!!!!!#ok ok I don’t normally say this about my art but BARK BARK BAKR BARK GODDAMN EHAT BARK BARK #like I feel like it’s such a big improvement over the first one because I was more mindful of contrast #like I know it’s not perfect; the leave kinda blend into armor and I probably could’ve added more highlights but I really like it #ok ok I should go to bed now; but this is really fun :)#I’ll try to keep working on these tomorrow 👍#uni art :)

#mcr art #gerard way #my art #get the commentary on this:#i spent an embarrassing amount of time on it #this is bc i have a hard time synthesizing shadows and shapes #unless i have a clear picture of it #so my exercise was trying to reduce the shapes directly from a picture. idk if i succeeded #also this palette only uses red which was also a nice challenge!#the bg is roughly rotoscoped and i slapped a bunch of filters over it 🤷🏽‍♀️

I think Vlad was the first high rarity Berserker I ever got in gacha, so I got a soft spot for him. I still have no idea how to use him though, so with me he always just dies :^)
