Hey guys! Surprise post! Here's a new flower, that I started a while back but never finished it. Well, I did today! It's a hibiscus flower. The part that was giving me the trouble? The stem and leaves. I figured out how to do the leaves, but I didn't know what to do with the stem, so I just did that. Pretend that the stem is connected to something, hehe.

putting little summer glitter tattoos on pope! ₊˚⊹ 𐦍༘₊ ⊹

you and pope decided to spend the warm sunny day sitting by the beach to get some fresh air while he studies, you honestly wanted to keep him company and needed to get him to spend some time outside. 

seated on a towel you watch as the light hits the side of his face as he continues to write in his notebook. 

"wanna go in the water?" you ask softly, poking his arm.

"i'm just gonna finish this first, you can go in if you want, i'll watch you from here" he smiles but doesn't look up from writing.

"nooo, i'll just stay here." you huff and turn to look in your tote bag to see if you can find anything to entertain yourself with. 

you dig around and find some temporary glitter tattoos that you had bought earlier that week. 

you smile to yourself and look back over at pope who is still busying himself with his work, you take off your shirt leaving you in your bikini top. 

taking the water bottle that was lying on the towel you soak a corner of your shirt and scooch closer to pope.

all of a sudden he feels something stick on his arm and your little fingers pressing it in place.

"what are you doing?" he asks like he's about to scold a child, his head turns over to look at his arm.

"giving you a tattoo!" you press the wet shirt onto the little paper to get the tattoo to stick.

"where'd you even get that?" he continues to inspect what you are doing

"it was in my bag... it's going to look so cute! you'll see." you peel off the paper to reveal the little hibiscus flower on his arm, glittering in the sunlight. 

"yeah it is nice..." he grins, flexing his arm a little bit which makes you giggle.

"i have more! you wanna pick another? look," you show him the little pile of tattoos in your hands, he looks at your hand and points to the blue shiny dolphin one. "this one..."

"ohkay! where should i put it?" you roll up his sleeve and point to the bottom of his shoulder. "sure!" he nods and watches you concentrate on sticking it on.  

"there! it's sooo cute!" you admire your work by squeezing his arm a bit. 

"want me to put one on you?" he asks holding up another of the little tattoos.

"mhmm, so we can be matching!" you smile and bring your arm up so he can work on putting it on you. "this is very relaxing, we should do this more often..." he mumbles softly, the waves crashing in the background. 

"i agree" 

he peels back the wet paper to reveal your little glittery flower tattoo, you bring your arm up towards the sun so it shines. 

"wowww, it's so shiny" you twist your arm around to see how the light bounces off the sparkles. 

"now we are twins..." he brings his arm up next to yours making you both smile. 

"yeah! i feel like a mermaid..." you wiggle your hips a little making pope smile. 

"you are a mermaid, do want a book to read while i finish this?" he asks, handing one of the books he had in a little pile on the edge of the towel. 

"mmhm shure..." you lay on your stomach, placing the book down on the towel to read in the sun while pope continues his studies, little birds flying over and sounds of the water crashing in the distance.

Before the proposal.

-You saved Jack in many ways, obviously he knew that he wanted you to be his bride.

- you looked out for him, getting coffee when he was tired, being a shoulder for him to cry on, warmth for him to hold whenever he got cold.

- after college, you two settled into a small apartment, and he immediately started brainstorming ways to bring up marriage into conversations or finding out which rings you like the most.

- when you said yes to wanting to get married soon, he got to work, setting up a bank account to put money in for just the ring, and then another for the actual marriage and honeymoon.

- he would show you rings people from your college got their s/o and asked you to rate them.

- the ones with the highest ratings he wrote down.

During the proposal

-proposed in the living room, and no it wasn’t one of those “shut up and take the ring” proposals it was beautiful.

- candles everywhere, flowers with meanings.

Pink camellias for “longing for you

Red camellias for “you’re the flame of my heart.”

White carnation “innocent, pure love.”

Daisy “loyal love”

Hibiscus “delicate beauty.”

Honeysuckle “bonds of love”

And many more.

- he also had balloons aired up, filled with confetti and sparkles, all the way on the ceiling, the with string hanging down.

- he attached little paper hearts on the strings.

- his speech was so good.. like what.

-he told you all about what he felt when he first saw you, everything he thought about when calling you or while holding you.

The wedding / wedding planning

- he lets you go crazy with the money he saved up in his wedding bank account.

-well, not too crazy but you get what I mean, he’s a doctor, he has money.

- doesn’t care if you wanna take him to pick out the dress or not. But he would like to see you dolled up only on the day of the wedding.

- staying up wedding planning with each other, falling asleep laying your head on his shoulder and you with his head on yours, the laptop lightly dimming In front of you

- he cried silent tears when you walked down the aisle. His hand over his mouth staring at you with tears pouring down

- your first dance was a slow dance to unchained melody. Fight me on this.

- he won’t throw the cake in your face. Not even if you want him to. That dress, hair, and makeup was expensive to get done.

Honeymoon/ aftermath

- your honeymoon was wherever you wanted, but he definitely wanted to go somewhere with pretty nature. Like mountain tops, flower fields, and expansive forests.

- he’s so sweet during the honeymoon, carrying you everywhere, calling you nothing but his wife, running to open doors, pressing kisses everywhere 24/7.

- you’ve never seen him smile SO MUCH.

- gets you flowers every week without fail, a date every month, a vacation to yourselves every year.

In conclusion? The best husband.

Lumina of the Nightwing/Sandwings

Lumina is a female NightWing/SandWing animus. She is elegant, smart, and compassionate.

Lumina is the eldest daughter of her Sandwing mother, Mariposa, and her Nightwing father, Prideful. She also has a younger sister named Inca. Lumina holds a grudge against her father for cheating on her mother when she was young, pursuing a younger dragoness named Hibiscus. When her mother confronted him, he chose Hibiscus over Mariposa.

Enraged, she cursed him to experience inconveniences from time to time, such as misplacing a paper or almost getting crushed under rubble.

It would have been worse if her mother hadn't pleaded to let him be. Her sister Inca, on the other hand, was just confused and frustrated by why he would choose to leave the life he had to "start fresh." Lumina and Inca tried to help their mother get through such a low point in her life, either with presents or just lending her a shoulder to cry on. Her friends consist of Barracuda, Terrane, Tumbleweed, Inca, Raven, and a couple of other locals. 

Although she was closest to Tumbleweed due to her kind and enduring nature, and to Terrane for his advice and realness. They would go night-gazing and talk about things like crushes, their families, or making jewelry for each other, like the necklace she is wearing.

She initially felt indifferent towards Barracuda but eventually befriended him despite his aggressive and threatening nature.

After Tumbleweed's death, she and Terrane were the first to come up with a plan to avenge her.

Their health began to deteriorate as they focused solely on the plan, which involved an enchanted dagger capable of cutting through even the toughest of scales. The plan was to use the dagger to stab Barracuda in the heart and end the war.

After the war, she and Terrane became roommates. He's a famous healer, and she sells rare gems. They get along just fine. They also make sure to visit Tumbleweed's grave every full moon with Raven and other dragons she knew, to give her flowers and celebrate her life.

(She also had a crush on Tumbleweed but wasn't sure how to act on it.)

today's flower is hibiscus, scientific name Hibiscus rosa-sinensis

It's native to warmer regions around the world.

It is also used in paper making, specifically the kenaf type of hibiscus

hiniscus tea is also very delicious

The hibiscus flower has many different meanings depending on what color you have in mind.

For example, if you see a hibiscus flower with a deep red color, then this could mean that someone is very passionate about something.

If you see a hibiscus flower with a light pink color, then this could signify that someone is happy and carefree.

White hibiscus flowers could mean that someone is pure and innocent. Yellow hibiscus flowers might indicate that someone is optimistic and cheerful.

And finally, a hibiscus with an orange color could mean that someone is energetic and full of life.

i used eyeshadow to only accentuate today it wasn't my primary colouring medium. that was pencil colours

Calling my bf, "My Husband" Prank

(There's a prank trend where significant others are are calling their partners "My Husband" instead of their bfs. Some are very cute and some are heartbreaking if ya'll ever look it up on TikTok. Anyway for punk flower it's always cute!)

Miles set up his smartphone on a phone stance, while him and Hobie got some lunch together. The prank idea came from Miles watching some TikTok videos of one partner of a couple would say their boyfriend is their husband and wait to see their reaction. He send those videos to his friends, Gwen thought he should try it with Hobie. Pavtri said it would be cute to see his reaction, since the two been together for a long time.

The punker and artists had been dating for nine years going on ten! Miles is already twenty four, while his Hobie is twenty five. Their relationship been so long and close that Miles figure Hobie wouldn't be the kind of partner to have a negative reaction.

"Ready?" Miles happily asked as the two sit outside of HQ on a modern design courtyard to enjoy the bright sunny day on Earth 928.

Hobie nodded having to take out their take out containers and their drinks. "Yup, do I look good?" He checks himself at the camera seeing himself looking handsome. He noticed the live symbol on the Spider So-City app, "Are we live?"

"Yup! Just for fun!" Miles giggles, "You be surprised how many views we get from Punkflower fans."

"Because of Pav?" He asked already noticing a lot of hearts, likes and Pavtri commenting a big happy face emoji.

"Yup!" Miles waves at the camera, "Hey guys! Today, we got some Jamaican food from my world, it's a new mom and pop shop. So we wanted to try it." He holds his drink, "Today I order Rice and Peas with jerk chicken and fried plátano, which is ripe plantains. I got Sorrel which is Jamiaca basically sweet hibiscus tea." He took a sip trying his drink, "Mm, it's good." He shows off his plate seeing how delicious his food look.

Then, Hobie took a bite of his Jamaican patty being in a white paper bag separate from his main order tray, "This Jamaican Patty is scrummy. MMM! Been craving this for a while." He mutters having another bite of his beef Jamaican patty tasting the savory fried flavors.

"Ohh, is that good?" Miles asked as he tries to open his plastic packet where his utensils are in. His boyfriend hold out the patty out for his to try.

"Try, luv." He said letting Miles taking a bite it.

The Spider-man nodded at the flavor, "That's good! Oh wow, so much flavor. That aunty don't play."

"Hahaha, she doesn't. I knew once she started rushing us to order." Hobie chuckles.

Miles chews, "Mmm, so good. I wonder if she makes it spicy or she adds bread." He turns to the camera, "For someone people, some Jamaicans or people like to eat bread with their Jamaican patties." His eyes on some Spider-heroes being confused or asking why or why carbs on carbs.

"What are they saying?" Hobie asked.

"One said Why?" Miles giggles at the question, then saw a lot of Spider-Heroes posting Jamaican flags.

Hobie shrugs, "Because it's bloody good. I do it most of the time. It's also to make you full, too."

"Someone said carbs on carbs is insane!" His boyfriend read the comment, "Ya'll are forgetting some Latinos or Mexicans like eating bolio con tamal de dulce con café! I've seen that's a thing."

His boyfriend arched his eyebrows, "What's that?"

"It's a Mexicans corn dough that is sweeten by fruit like strawberries or pineapple and they wrap it in corn husk. I think steamed. It's a big thing during the winter times. Me and Ganke have a friend, she's Mexican and her mom made like so much and gave us some." Miles sips his drink, he look at the comments.

Miguel put a Mexican flag and wrote: Que rico! Así se come! Bolio con tama dulce y cafécito

Gabriella commented next: I love it with Champurrado! You should try Tamal de Pińa!

Miles giggles, "Gabi said we should try the pineapple one. I think you'll like it. It's pretty good if you got it from someone that knows how to make tamales."

"I'm def, luv. I rarely hate anything, I just like to stick what I like sometimes." Hobie commented, he sips his drink, "I got myself a Sorrel!"

"Oh, I forgot to talk about your order!" Miles fake gasp, "So my husband order rice and peas with a side of Oxtails..." Hobie stop eating his Jamaican patty his head slowly turns to his boyfriend then his lips twisted to a big grin. "And he order fried plantains-" Hobie interrupted his boyfriend, "What?"

"What?" Miles asked pretending to be confused.

Hobie chuckles having a big smile on his face, "What you said?"

"I said I forgot to mention your order." He playfully said having a small shy smile.

His punker shook his head being playful, "Nooo, Sunflower. After that. What did you say?" His eyes gleaming, his whole body turning pinker than before.

"My husband." Miles giggles while answering his boyfriend question. That made the punker to get up being out of camera's view and jumps up and down.

"Yes! Yes! YES!" He shouted up with joy.

Miles smiles widely at the positive outlook of his boyfriend, what he did expect is his boyfriend came running to hug him and sweep him off his feet. "Say it, again?" Hobie happily carries his boyfriend in a koala hugging position, he kisses him on the cheek.

"My husband." Miles' face all flustered but he said it much louder and prouder tone.

Hobie gave his a nose nuzzle, "That's more like it." They happily kiss forgetting their lunch for the moment.

The live stream went on with many Spider-heroes sending hearts and excitement emojis!

It's a bit later than I usually post, but I may or may not have procrastinated finishing this. Anyway, here's a post for Music Monday! It's from Sweet Hibiscus Tea by Penelope Scott (that's what it says on the mug). The hibiscus isn't my best one, not by far, but I'm going to cut myself some slack since I've been a bit stressed all day. If you can't tell, the mug is supposed to be filled with tea. The lyric on the top is "And I am not your protagonist, I'm not even my own."
