People so often talk about parallel play as a thing children do, but adults do it too! I love just hanging out with others while we do our own things. The fact that we're not doing something together doesn't bother me. It's simply being together that's important.

Being friends/mutuals with people in other fandoms truly is a form of parallel play. You check in with them like, "Are you having fun playing firetrucks? My other friend is playing gay pirates. And I'm playing hospital and making the doctors kiss. :)"

And absolutely!! I Adoreeee parallel play.

They do it when ever they get a chance, they sit there, doing paper work, they will all do it in the same room.

Ghost sits on Gaz's bed fixing his mask, while Gaz sits there painting his own nails.

Prices office is the perfect parallel play spot, the whole team migrates in there. (Can you tell I love prices office shit?)
