I've said this before in various places, but Eidolon Playtest is the greatest actual play show currently being made, including the two big ones. Luke is the best GM in the business right now, full stop, and the players consistently create deep, compelling characters. It has some of the best queer narratives in fiction, and isn't afraid to allow them to be messy when necessary, while weaving those story threads through some of my favorite overarching plotlines in any media, let alone just actual plays. The game system is incredibly well-made, giving both players and GM the flexibility to make an amazing story and have fun, while being given flavorful jumping-off points for how every action is completed instead of just a concrete number. And this is all on top of the fact that each season is actually two simultaneously run, intertwined campaigns, each of which affects the other in various ways. It is truly, genuinely a masterful series, and it should be getting far more attention and accolades from the pen and paper rpg community.

The Duchy of Clarmonda has only one Customs Office, but ever-changing laws.

Are chickpeas imports forbidden? It could be allowed next week, while alpaca yarn gets banned! And now, only two pairs of socks can transit duty-free!

In this game, you will role-play a dialogue between the customs officer from a small country and a traveller.

The Traveller wishes to go over the border with their luggage. The Officer cannot let them, but the Traveller finds a way!

~Asenath Waite: Cult of Dagon~

Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's work we tried to go for a Cthulhu cultist themed session. Based on the only really remarkable (at least seemingly) female character by Lovecraft, Asenath Waite, I wanted to create a glamorous look with only one single detail that would seem rather offputing. Its a fast paced, explosive game filled with witch hunters, wars of religion, demons and witchcraft.

I already teased on Day 2 that this wouldn't be the last time Rocketbeans' brilliant pen and paper RPG triology "Tor nach Carcosa" would make an appearance in this Creeptober. In this case, I'm also going back to the first campaign - to be precise, to one of my personal favorite scenes, the artwork of Frau von Stockhausen. Once again I can just recommend this awesome RPG Round. If you are able to understand German, please do go ahead and give it a try. Gorgeous story, brilliant GM and the players and their acting talent truely are impressive!
