La Squadra Base from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, built as accurately as possible in the Sims 4! This is where they hold meetings (and where they received the Sorbet packages…). I included bedrooms, an office for Risotto, plus a kitchen and bathrooms for functionality. I personally believe they all live in their own apartments, but in my save file, they're in the same household lol ♥ Be sure to use bb.moveobjects and the debug cheats before placing. Enjoy!!​

my own personal headcanons about harry <3

always reading. always wants to talk about what he's reading. lovesss when you ask him about each book, even better if you want to read it WITH him. secretly loves when you ask him to read you to sleep, even if you only last 5 minutes. always carrying at least a couple books with him at all times. catching him asleep in random places with a book on his chest/face.

LOVES photography. idc idc idc this boy ALWAYS has a camera on him, loves to go on nature adventures for photo ops, constantly asking you to stand somewhere or look at him for yet another portrait. especially loves film & the process of creating a print by hand.

huge animal lover. especially loves cats & dogs. will stop and pet every stray he sees. will spend the majority of every visit to a friend's house trying to get their pet to love him. has a natural connection with them and always has birds, squirrels, and even insects coming up to him with curiosity.

physical touch is his love language. constantly touching you in some way, always wants to hold hands, laying his head on you whenever he can, just can't get enough of it. always looks forward to a night in spent on the couch cuddling & reading together. plays with your hair!!! all the time!!! will literally fall asleep with his hand tangled in your hair at night.

jealous. j-e-a-l-o-u-s. not to an extreme extent, but this boy gets real protective real quick. he's not insecure when it comes to you, he could just never forgive himself if he ever let you get hurt in some way. always has his arm around you in some way while in public, or at least keeps you within eye sight at all times.

music lover!! he loves anything from classical, orchestral, instrumental music to jazz to rock. he's taught himself a bit of guitar, piano, and drums, but is more interested in listening than learning. always asks to go to the theatre, stopping by the local jazz night, and listens to buskers on the street. always has a pair of headphones on him in case he gets a minute away to listen to a song and read a few pages.

It has been some time, now, since Book One was released, but I just recently found out about its existence and managed to buy it.

I am absolutely besotted with everything this interactive fiction has. Its characters are full of sharp, nasty, tender edges, from main characters to supporting roles, such as the Guardian of the Bridge. The setting, in regards to time, place, and the fantastic elements you weaved into it, fill me with lots of awe, perhaps especially so because it's no grandiose opening to a fetishized and depersonalised past, as it often happens with historical fantasy. Rather, the world feels alive and exciting in a very humane way!

(As it is, I've been often to 'Tarraco'. The sense of heat and dryness was spot on 😂)

And then, Romanus. Damn, Romanus. I've played a handful of IFs, having discovered their existence this late spring, but none have made me enjoy the player character as a character as much as yours. The choices of reactivity, the visceral descriptions, the horror and the narrative haunting... I had to allow myself some seconds at some of the sentences.

I simply wanted you to know your story has captivated me like few others, series, books, or games, have, and I look forward to Book Two's release to see what happens next 💚

hey has atlus ever commented about naoto being transgender?

I assume you're asking this because of the remark I made in the tags about the magazine?

To be honest, I don't see this topic as being as straightforward as many in the western fandom want people to believe. Like I have absolutely read garbage where people go, "You have poor media literacy if you think Naoto is trans". I used to see this crap every other day on Reddit until I quit browsing the Persona subs regularly.

To answer your question: To my knowledge, no, Atlus has never >said< anything about this. But here is what they >did< in their own game and the lore / setting book:

We all know about "show, not tell". Naoto says her struggle is about "being a woman in a male dominated field", but this feels largely like "tell, not show" since the story suggests Naoto's struggle is actually with age both internally and externally -- to the extent that gender feels very irrelevant. Naoto is never shown struggling as a detective due to gender and the only time it comes up really is in the dungeon dialogue, Naoto never brings up mom or reflects on how mom might have had the same issues and how mom might have dealt with them (Naoto's mom was also a detective), Naoto seemingly continues presenting as a male detective outside of school even after people at school find out (c'mon, Adachi somehow never says anything before or after the reveal, or even in Ultimax), the writing never takes any opportunities to compare/contrast Naoto with other characters regarding gender and work (e.g. Naoto wants to be in a male-dominated profession versus Yukiko who was born into a role passed from mom to daughter but starts off the story on the fence about it), and the other detective characters in the story only ever comment on Naoto's age / youth. When gender finally does come up in Naoto's Social Link, choosing "Your gender doesn't matter" is the option that earns the most brownie points (20 points, per the P4G guide) even though it locks the player out from the romance scenes. The "I'm glad you're a girl" option is what gets you Naoto's romance which I feel like is a roundabout way of Atlus admitting the audience they care about are straight men who would get insecure about someone they're dating being anything other than "girl".

And lastly, when you get into the meta stuff, In Naoto's Persona Club P4 profile, she fills out [sex/gender] as "no comment". And the same book writes that Naoto's dungeon comes from Naoto's own desire to "become an adult man" (an important distinction as for the other dungeons the book specifies when the public of Inaba played a role in the design and whatnot of the dungeon and what it represents).

Some of this feels intentional to me, yet some of it also feels like incompetence on Atlus's part because of how Naoto's character was made...

Naoto's character was originally a cisgender boy and Teddie was originally a girl under the mascot outfit. Then Naoto became a girl, and as a result, they swapped Teddie to a guy (so it's 3 girl pt members, 3 boy pt members). I find it plausible that this whole arc about Naoto-F's age was originally something that belonged to Naoto-M, and they just copy/pasted it and added on the sentence, "Oh and also I'm a girl in a dude dominated field!!!" and just, uh, did not expand on that at all.

Things don’t just magically improve overnight. 

As much as you both want them to, it just doesn’t happen. It’s just not in the cards for you. No matter how much you both wish otherwise. Because most days, you still wake up in a puddle of your own guilt and anxiety and insecurity. It’s not the same river of negative feelings that used to drown and plague you every moment of the day. But an obstacle is an obstacle. And the chokehold those feelings have on you- it’s not to be taken lightly. When you’re not careful, it can keep you in cold, dark places for long, long times. When you’re not careful, it can consume your every waking thought. Fill every bone in your body. Paralyze you with feelings of self-doubt, self-hatred, and everything in between.

That said, you have many more good days. And they always start and end with him.

Some mornings, you’ll wake up to an email from your boyfriend. Something sweet and simple. A response from something you sent last night. A greeting hello. A reminder about something related to class. Or just a simple ‘I miss you’ when you were least expecting it. And some mornings, when you’re really lucky, you end up waking up with something a little more personal, like the sound of the ringtone you’ve set for him on your phone. 

“Good morning, my love,” He would say to you. Maybe you’d still be so sleepy and tired that you could just barely mumble a greeting back to him as you struggled to pull yourself fully from your sleep. Maybe you’d be more awake and ready to receive his call. Maybe you’d be a little something outside or even in between. It doesn’t matter really. Because all you know is that it’s something that you look forward to. Something that cherish and never want to go away. Something that improves your spirit. Something that brightens your day.

Something that makes you feel a little less like the mess of a human being that your boyfriend had to drag out of the shadows and into the light.

Still, it’s all a work in progress. And in the couple weeks the two of you have been dating, things have been getting slightly better. Throughout the day, you may experience an episode or two. A flare-up here. A moment of panic there. It’s truly something that you can’t escape. At least, not so quickly now that it has built itself up in your mind with a foundation meant to stay. 

But you’re working on it. And he’s helping you work on it too. Truthfully, you still haven’t found yourself feeling the way you used to be when things were fine and dandy unless you were

hand-in-hand with your boyfriend during lunch or tugged into his side after school while he talked to his friends. But you’re teaching yourself how to stop comparing yourself to all his female friends. And you’re reminding yourself that out of everyone he could have picked in this town- out of all the amazing, talented, beautiful people who he could have asked out in this town, he picked you. He asked out you. 

And that’s what makes moments like these absolutely and utterly too sweet. 

Moments where you get to spend the afternoons and evenings with each other. Maybe you’ll be at his place. Maybe you’ll be at yours. But either way, you’ll spend those moments together with your arms wrapped around each other. You’ll spend those moments lounging on top of each other’s futons, with your head in his neck and his arms wrapped loosely around you. Sometimes he’ll read out loud a few pages of whatever book he was reading the day prior. Sometimes he’ll urge you into talking about your day and your feelings. All of the good. All of the bad. 

But in these moments, you only think about him. In these moments, he’s the only thing that exists to you. Not your teachers. Not your homework. Not the looming threat of making sure you make it home to dinner in time to ensure that your family won’t make any fuss. Not the great, powerful, and pretty Risa Kujikawa and her usual antics of always getting a little too close to comfort with your boyfriend and always toying the line in a way that never failed to get you at least a little bit frustrated. Not the amazing, intelligent, and resourceful Prince Detective Naoto Shirogane. She admires your boyfriend in almost the same way you absolutely envy her. But at the end, of the day, you’re the one who’s lucky. You’re the one with something to be proud of.

Because in these moments, you don’t even think of some of his truly close friends- Chie Satonaka and Yukiko Amagi. The selflessness the two of them show. Their poise, their confidence. Their joy and their bright spirits. All things you struggle with. All things you used to think you couldn’t achieve. But when you’re in Yu’s arms, you don’t think of them. You don’t think of anyone or anything. Except for your boyfriend, of course. Because in your boyfriend's arms, you can and could be anything. Because in your boyfriend's arms, you feel like a better person. One who has no need to compare themselves to others. One who could find their own happiness. Even if it comes shaped like the very person you’re laying on.

And sure, you still struggle sometimes within these moments. And you still come across the occasional negative feeling or thought and apply it to yourself tenfold- whether or not you actually believe that feeling to be true. You’re not perfect, you’re human. But with him? But with Yu, things start to become a little easier. Lighter on your soul. Brighter in the sky. Little by little. Day by day. 

So you’ll take these moments, and you’ll cherish them. Because just a couple weeks ago, you couldn’t even bear the thought of being around him or his friends. A couple weeks ago, 

A couple weeks ago, you were nothing. An insecure nobody. A big mess. But now?

You’re Yu’s girlfriend. And in the future, you hope to become more than that once again. In the future, you hope to not have to rely on your boyfriend for all your happiness and all your peace. You hope that all the negativity and all the bad feelings will one day go away. Or grow much more quiet. To the point where you can’t be sure they even exist at all.

But until that happens, you’ll take things slow. You’ll take the days one at a time. And you’ll hold dear every phone call and email and cuddle session and kind word your boyfriend sends our way. It’s all you can. It’s all you want to do. It’s all you can handle doing. It’s all you’re capable of doing. Because when cleaning up a big mess, you have to start somewhere. You have to start small. You have to start here. And for you and for him?

That’s more than enough. That’s more than enough.

There are four main types of Batfam fans in regard to how people interpret Bruce Wayne as a dad (/Joking. This is mostly satire and should not be taken seriously):

Fans that think Bruce is emotionally constipated and isn't the best at being a parent but still tries (Differs per person). Don't necessarily think he's absuive but thinks he can be toxic or have unhealthy expectations for the Robins. Can smell the Oldest Daughter Syndrome coming from Dick and have Family Line (By Conan Gray) as their top song on their Dick inspired playlist and Daddy Issues (By The Neighbourhood) for Jason.

Fans that choose to believe Bruce goes to therapy in their own canon. Love B:WFA. Thinks the comic can be cheesy at times and so find a balance between B:WFA Bruce and Please Go To Therapy BruceTM as their middle ground. He struggles. They advocate that Bruce is not a bad parent, he just has bad writers that seem to forget Bruce wouldn't hurt kids, especially not his own. Love the humane moments and scenes he has in BTAS and the early JL cartoons. He may not be perfect but he's not literally abusive. Whores for Bruce being able to admit when he is wrong and for Jason and Bruce reconciling. I recommend Grow As We Go by Ben Platt for this one.

A mix between the first two. Was fine-ish when Dick was younger. Didn't help him in the healthiest way but eh. Still emotionally constipated but that happened more so after Dick left and Jason died. Started getting better when Tim came back but was still closed off. Should probably go to therapy with the kids so they can drag his ass about all the things he's done that have actually affected them negatively. Understands his mistakes and is also able to admit when he's wrong, eventually. It's not easy but he starts to do better and learns to be more emotionally available. Still has to get chewed out by Alfred sometimes but definitely better than he used to be and it shows. Reconciliation is slow and gradual but progress is made for everyone involved.

The one's I personally avoid for my own sanity and wellbeing:

Think Bruce is a complete bastard and abuser. Want him to choke. Hate any and all interpretations of him. Some of which will refuse to understand how anyone could have a different interpretation. Will point out comics where, in all fairness, he is a dick but forget that characterisation can significantly differ from one series to the next, as comic characters are constantly passed around to different writers and have been for decades. Not to mention movies, shows, etc.

if it was anyone else, they wouldn't mind making the first move. but since it's you, they know they could lose a lot if they end up being rejected

though whoever you end up with, yosuke and yu will both be supportive of you! the three of you are friends after all and that friendship is more important to them than a love triangle!
