I've been feeling kind of down lately, so I decided to take a small break and make a little image of Jim Starling eating pistachio ice cream (I heard that was 90s Negaduck's favorite flavor). Also made his trunks kind of look like Negaduck's boxers from the old show.
I'm thinking of possibly doing a series of "ducks in swimsuits enjoying the summer," but we'll see what my schedule holds.

Dear diary,
I always feel better after workout and I seem to have stabilized at current weight so I'll give it a month or so and if haven't lost further weight I may just have to accept and make peace with where at weight related. As I don't think I can adjust what I am doing further in hopes of losing more weight.
Hopefully at the end of February my body will look closer to a model's as to be honest I have a few sexy swimsuits I want to buy but won't do so until I can feel better about how look and weight as well.
Sometimes I wonder why I mentally torture myself by looking at expensive items like I can't help I have expensive tastes but still. At the same time I find window shopping can be mood lift to just look at all the cute and pretty items as well.
It's horribly foggy out today like the setting of some horror film and imagine most will stay indoors given the option so you know that just makes me want to get out more.
Also I must say I know we've all heard it before but stretching before workout is important and not just something for fitness enthusiast or older people to do.
I found that out the hard way nothing like potentially pulling your muscle cause you overworked yourself to force you to take it easy and of course stretch more before workout.
I did feel better after completing it tho waiting and taking time to rest was necessary it was also annoying.
So if you wanna avoid unessacery interruptions during workout do yourself a favor and stretch before starting sets.
I feel like I should get a good girl and medal or reward here for resisting sweets despite being super into them.
They say you are what you eat.... well I feel pretty much like a bunny these days given my diet and how snack on vegetables etc.
I so want to go get an ice cream tho or some candy. Like just for a sec pretend to be a child again and eat candy while watching a movie of course that would lead to breakouts.
Thanks acne like I dont have enough self conscious issues just add to it ~

NOTE TO SELF: The crudo and the pistachio ice cream are worth coming back for, but none of the other dishes did much for me. That black pepper gastrique gave the tune a dynamic flavor and the slice of grape made it refreshing. I could have eaten it for hours. The chili butter on the toast had a nice flavor, but the toast had the texture of stale bread. The pasta was decent, but I have a low ceiling for pasta right now. The fish itself was good, but marinated olives, dill, and fennel is not a flavor profile I'm into. The ice cream and the little vanilla cake it rode in on are a contender for best dessert of the year.
Currently the only October meal I've had.

How would Melanie Malachite react to your cat Neo?
As a side note I kind of miss that ship, I thought it was really cute.
I've actually thought about this before and, there are two possible outcomes that I thought about- one in which Melanie has a hard time accepting it, but ultimately ends up alright with it because she decides to trust Neo, and the other is in which she doesn't trust Neo and puts her survival above the mute, mainly because of being scared Neo would lose it and try to hurt her at some point because, newest feral cat behavior- Neo commit cannibalism at some point due to it, I've mentioned it before, so she sees it as a risk.
One is just a good ending, in the other, Melanie kicks Neo out of her life LMAO

Pistachio Ice Cream

I’ve indulged in quite a bit of frozen treats in this long hot Summer, happily tucking into Pineapple Frozen Yoghurt or, licking a spoonful of Basil Apricot Sorbet or Rose Ice Cream. But so far, I had managed without the ice cream maker. Until this weekend, where I thought of putting the bowl in the freezer. A momentous occasion, so it called for something a bit more fanciful than Vanilla Ice Cream (although I do love Vanilla Ice Cream!) Thus, I made Pistachio Ice Cream. I don’t often eat it; there are far too many tempting things at the ice cream parlour for me to pick it. Mum would though, as she is quite fond of it. And I reckon she would be quite fond of this one, too! So, I shall be lazing the sunny afternoon, eating my Pistachio Ice Cream and thinking of her! Happy Sunday!
Ingredients (makes about 1 pound):
1/2 cup shelled, unsalted pistachios
¾ cup double cream
¾ cup semi-skimmed milk
1 plump vanilla bean, split lengthwise
3 large egg yolks
¼ cup caster sugar
1 tablespoon white rum
2 tablespoons shelled pistachios
1/3 cup double cream
1 tablespoon white rum
In a large frying pan, toast pistachios over medium-high heat until just fragrant. Remove from the heat and let cool completely. 
Once cooled, spoon toasted pistachios into a food processor, and blitz until reduced into a powder, the consistency of coarse meal. Set aside.
In a medium saucepan, combine double cream and milk. Scrape seeds off the vanilla bean, and add both seeds and empty pod into the milk mixture. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Meanwhile, energetically whisk egg yolks with caster sugar until pale yellow and the mixture falls from the whisk like a ribbon. Gently pour a bit of the hot milk and cream mixture over the eggs yolks, whisking constantly. While still whisking, add the rest of the milk, until well-blended. Pour mixture back into the saucepan, and return over medium heat. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon until custard thickens, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in white rum, mixing well. Then, thoroughly stir in pistachio powder.
Pour pistachio custard into a bowl, and cover with cling film directly on the custard to prevent a skin from forming. Chill in the refrigerator, at least three hours to overnight.
In a small frying pan, toast pistachios over medium-high heat until just fragrant. Remove from the heat and let cool completely.
Once pistachio custard is well chilled, pour cold double cream in a bowl and beat with an electric beater, increasingly increasing speed, until soft peaks form.
Gently fold whipped cream into pistachio custard, to loosen it. Fold in rum as well.
Pour mixture in the bowl of an ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions. Churning should take about 25 to 40 minutes.
Roaghly chop toasted pictachios.
Spoon Pistachio Ice Cream in an airtight container, sprinkling with chopped pistachios. Store in the freezer a couple of hours before eating.

New baby!
I'm still busy with work, and am still not too comfy in the apartment, but I popped on, got a notification from Sin about new Night Warrior dergs, and here we are!
I named her Mirabelle!
Nothing Encanto here, I just loved the name and asked Sin to name her that.
She's like Pistachio ice cream, or Cookies and cream, mixed with Pistachio and or mint.
Been on a pistachio kick as of late, but mint ice cream isn't that bad- I just prefer cookies and cream/cookie dough!
(Vanilla/Vanilla bean, and Strawberry are also good!)
