Throwing this out there because it is only a half-coherent thought but one that I fully can not shake.

A Darklina AU for Steter would be spectacular. Mostly because the parallels between Aleksander and Peter hit me so damn hard all the time, I am truly rotating these two in my head so much together.

Peter as the ruthless general whose people have been hunted and killed simply for existing and being different from "normal" humans?

The Argents as the royal bloodline of Ravka, the oppressors, the killers, the enslavers.

Peter, who lost everything to them, including his kindness and gentleness. Who is willing to become the monster they want him to be.

Centuries on his own, plotting his revenge.

And then he finally finds the Sun Summoner. The Spark. And they're just... nothing like what Peter had anticipated. Fierce, passionate, cheeky. Perfect.

And for the first time, there is something he wants as much as his revenge. He wants this power and he wants that power at his side.

ok maybe this is silly but i don’t think imu’s going to be the BBE of elbaph in an end-of-arc way bc i think narratively we need somewhere to go up in terms of threat level after this?? maybe i’m wrong but there must be limits to the possession and if luffy or loki can deal enough damage (like at the end of egghead with joyboy’s haki) then it will probably force imu back to marie geoise.

to me it feels like a teaser of the very real horrible threat of this power at the top of the world - both for us as readers and for the crew- and an opening into understanding their power/how to counter it (via gaban’s knowledge). which i’m sure will be difficult and stressful to get rid of - i’m not saying the possession isn’t a big deal - but clearly the priority for them is not elbaph rn, it’s whatever’s happening in the holy land. would be very interesting if we got the first imu/luffy face to face and then imu gets pulled away somehow.

then we still gotta get loki and the giants on side (plus figure out wtf is going on with the astral level yes i’m obsessed with it). if so, oda’s doing some very interesting narrative and sequencing work, which i think will involve a lot of flashbacks (harald and brook’s for sure at least, god valley maybe…)

it feels quite different to what he’s done before with arcs - we had the party at the beginning, we had the setup of loki and then the introduction of villains and high stakes, and now the introduction of an even bigger villain all within 12 chapters? usually the mass population death scenario comes at the end of the arc and the strawhats are scrambling with their allies to prevent it. i have a feeling he’s piling up the tension but we’re going to start cutting away both temporally and geographically soon, but also maybe this is just the pace from now on! who knows!! i’m scared!

PS: i miss my boys luffy zoro sanji and i want to know what’s happening with loki but i do want to say that those feelings are completely outweighed by how happy i am that the other strawhats are getting a spotlight and their time to shine especially in terms of fighting and holding their own 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 i’ve prayed for days like this i am thriving

Character 1: Noyan Fadel 💖

She was one of the first characters I ever came up with. She’s the first friend Jordan makes in her new school and her love interest. Most things that there are to say are said in the pic already, so I hope you enjoy! Of course her design might change over time but so far I really like it. Pink, blue, and yellow is such a cute color combo I love it so much! You’ve probably seen me use it a bunch, especially when drawing my persona. Wow I just realized I haven’t drawn myself in a while.

I wonder, does anyone else have OC’s they only really draw traditionally? I have a little OC universe that’s kind of fleshed out as well as another OC all in the sketchbook I take to school and stuff. They’re the first OC’s I’ve ever shown my friends, I think. Maybe I could draw them on my iPad or scan the pictures to show on here? They look good and I wanna show them but idk.

Ok, I might try to post 1 character from the lineup every day but THAT IS NOT A PROMISE I have a bad history with promising consistent content and stuff, especially since I tend to get art block a relative amount. I also might get busy but I’ll definitely try!

worldbuilding thing I've been wondering about:

how do you handle gender identity, gender expression, and/or gender stereotypes, within your omegaverse writings?

this goes for ocs and for fanfics!

if alphas are physically male in the way we'd consider a human to be physically male, that's a statement on their sex, yeah? not their gender.

you can have the body parts implied there and still be a gender that is not "man". so how's that work for omegaverse? especially if alphas can be male or female.

how do you describe gender within your omegaverse? is it based more around dynamic / secondary? (alpha/beta/omega) or around sex? (male/female/others if they apply)

do people get gendered expectations assigned to them based on their sex, on their dynamic, on the combination of both?

(ex: is there a difference between the gender roles given to a female omega versus a male omega? are the stereotypes for a male beta like or unlike those of a male omega?)

could there be such a difference between female alphas, female betas, and female omegas, that only some female people are considered women, while others are labeled with some other term due to their dynamic? or are all female people considered to be women? (assuming they're all cisgender...but if you've got trans headcanons I wanna hear those too!)

I'm curious about this because it's reasonable to say something like "our image of what is masculine appearance / behavior is shaped by our society and time period," right? (since male doesn't have to equal man or masculine, but there's often some connection)

but that structure wouldn't be built from the same stuff in omegaverse. since behaviors and such could be associated with different groups.

so...if a male alpha is seen as a feminine presenting person, what does that mean in your verse?

are masculine and feminine less about what exists in your verse and more about the limitations of our own language?

is it something else altogether?
