i think we’ve got to start rejecting “small artists” selling low quality mass merchandised garbage using exploitative labor. i know we’re not supposed to be mean to artist led businesses but it’s embarassing to be charging $60-$100 for a plush that’s basically a png printed on a pillow the same that you get at walmart and using the same manufacturing processes, at the same manufacturer in many cases, especially when an artist a table over is selling plush at the same price that were made by hand. i don’t think them having 1-3 employees really excuses this behavior honestly.

If you are experiencing issues with something you have purchased I would like to ask you to contact me on Etsy so I can better look into it. This is rather vague and I would like to be able to pinpoint what I should fix.

I offer only a few digital items: PDF copies of my books and phone wallpapers. Due to Etsy's upload limitations, the file sizes for the books need to be optimized so that you can actually download and view them on your device.

I used a guide to walk me through the making of the phone wallpapers and I tested them on a couple of phones and for that purpose they seemed to work fine.

I also intentionally keep the resolution to the digital files I sell high enough for the product to be good for its intended purpose but low enough so that it's at least harder for people to exploit them. It's sad that I have to think about this but it is what it is. It's a tough thing to balance.

Digital items are rather new to me so if there is anything I can improve on I would like to know!

Now that I have a couple thousand followers on here, I just wanted to take the opportunity to share a link to a project I have been using and keeping up with for years now.

This is Trace an Object, a Europol project that allows civilians from all over the world to view objects found in exploitative content featuring children and send in tips to help narrow down locations and remove children from harmful situations in cases where all other investigative leads have been exhausted.

I would highly recommend everybody take 5 minutes to look at the objects and see if they recognize any logos, brands, cultural crafts, artworks etc. Obviously, nothing explicit is shown and these are pngs showing ONLY an object or logo. New objects are added regularly, so I would encourage people to just check this website from time to time to see if you may be of help. This saves lives.

Not about the pets, it's more about having something you purchased getting removed with no warning and with no fault of your own. Feno and team chose to delete everyone's pets just so they can "catch" the exploiters quickly over saving the names or temp banning the few.

Now we just can't trust them and what shit they will pull off next.
