How to Post for Dramione Month 2024

We will be celebrating Dramione Month across four platforms: Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, and of course AO3.  We will be tracking the tag #dramione month (with a space) on Tumblr and #dramionemonth (no space) on Twitter. We will be reblogging all relevant posts tagged with #dramione month and retweeting the same on Twitter. We will be reposting all items tagged with #dramionemonth on our Instagram stories. There is also an AO3 collection. Feel free to post on all four platforms if you so choose!

If you post for a prompt that hasn’t come up yet, (for example, posting day 20’s prompt when it’s September 14th) we won’t share the post until the indicated day comes up. We will reblog/retweet for previous days’ prompts if you post past the indicated day!

We’ll go over the AO3 collection further down in the FAQ. Posting to the collection is not required. Feel free to post on whichever platform(s) you’d like! 

On Tumblr

- We will be posting the daily prompt as an image post every day! Feel free to reblog and add your relevant work underneath, we’ll reblog your post!

- We will also be tracking #dramione month and will reblog any stand-alone posts as well. If you are posting separately, please indicate the Prompt/Day your work is for somewhere near the top so we can tag it in our reblog!

- Please tag any relevant content or trigger warnings at the top, if applicable.

- We will be tagging all posts we reblog with both the week theme and individual day prompt for easier navigation.

- Again, we wanted to reiterate that Dramione Month is open to all types��of creative works. Feel free to post art pieces, sketches, drabbles, socmeds, ficlets, one-shots, WIP fics, etc.

- We will also be posting a round-up of works posted to the AO3 collection at the end of each day.

On Twitter

- We will be posting the daily prompt as an image tweet every day! Feel free to quote retweet and add your relevant work – we’ll retweet your post!

- We will also be tracking #dramionemonth all month and will retweet any tweets tagged as well. Please indicate the Prompt/Day your work is for at the top.

- Please tag any relevant content or trigger warnings at the top, if applicable.

-We will be tracking those who tag us @Dhrmonth on Instagram and those who tag #DramioneMonth on instagram. Relevant posts will be reposted to our stories.

On AO3

- Dramione Month’s 2024 AO3 collection is [here]. Each Daily prompt is its own Prompt that you can claim as part of the collection; this includes the weekly Free Days! You are free to claim as many or as few as you’d like.

- All works posted to the collection will be hidden and anonymous until the relevant day/prompt occurs, i.e. if you post a work for the Day 20 prompt, it will remain hidden and anonymous until September 20th. Works posted for a previous date’s prompt will not be hidden.

- Works with sensitive and explicit content, including dead doves, are allowed. Please use AO3’s tagging system for all relevant warnings and potentially triggering content. Works with ‘Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings’ will not be allowed.

- Works do not have to be complete to post. We encourage WIP works.

- The collection will remain open until October 15th 2024 after the end of Dramione Month to allow for late claiming and posting. Please feel free to post for past days during the month as well!

-When posting to the AO3 collection, you are free to post all your works for Dramione Month as a single AO3 work, with each prompt as a separate chapter. If this is the case, please claim one of the final Free Day (either Day 29 or Day 30) prompts. The only drawback we can see from this is that AO3 now limits how many tags a work can have, thus you may not be able to tag everything relevant for your single work. Another possible downside is that some readers may be turned off by a long wall of tags, with no easy way to know which chapter which tags apply to.

We recommend posting each prompt claim as a single work, and placing each of your works in a series (separate from our Collection) so readers can navigate easily through your prompt fills by clicking 'Next Work' at the bottom of each work.

-When your work is revealed, please remember to change the posting date to the current date!!

- Again, posting to AO3 is optional.

Sleigh bells are ringing and latkes are sizzling, which means it’s almost posting time for our exchange! 

Our official posting window runs from December 20th to December 31st at midnight PST. You can post on whichever platforms you like—AO3, tumblr, twitter, bluesky—as long as you tag your giftee somehow and let them know their gift is ready.

When you post, remember to do the following:

Tag your giftee via the socials sent to you with your assignment. (If you are not active on your giftee’s chosen social platform, reach out to the mods and we can make sure they get it!)

For image hosting, we recommend using a dedicated image hosting website like Squid Images, PostImages, or imgur. While tumblr, twitter, and bluesky also work currently, getting the image url from them may be tricky and they might change their hosting policy in the future. Please note that links to images on discord stop working after a few days.

Participants will be required to submit their work to the AO3 collection by November 24th. Works will be marked as 'unrevealed.' On your designated posting date, your individual work will be revealed and a preview graphic will be posted on all socials (with you tagged). You are free to post the full thing anywhere else you would like immediately after that.

Why is it different?

For two reasons:

This ensures everyone can see all the works no matter which platform they choose to view them on (Twitter, Tumblr, Bluesky, AO3).

It will be easier to track any potential drops and make sure we have an entire week for pinch hits if necessary, as last year we had people that posted their work at the very last minute, making it hard to tell if they were going to post at all.

Valentine’s Core Exchange Rules and Posting Guidelines

Welcome to the first Valentine’s Core Exchange! These are the rules that have been set for the event. Please follow them to make sure that every participant has a safe and fun experience.

Exchange Rules:

Do not share what number you are

Do not share who you were assigned to

You may post small bits and ideas of your work within your designated artist/writing channels, but no identifying pieces or spoilers

No incest, minor/adult (including age ups), big age gaps (this includes Dan/Vlad), or dubious ships. If you have a question, you can ask the Mods regarding a specific ship

No NSFW content and for minors keep content PG-13

Please keep up with the work and if you think you cannot complete your work, please let the Mods know and they will reassign your pairing

For all written works, the word count minimum is 1k. The maximum is 20k words.

Respond to the Check-In and deadlines

General Rules:

Be respectful to everyone

Try to keep conversations PG-13 within the server

Cursing is allowed, but it is asked that it is not excessive

Mark for spoilers any content or messages that may not be suitable for everyone. This includes sensitive topics or messages that others may not want to see

Do not spoil anything for anyone. If you find out details for any other works do not talk about it publicly

Don’t be mean

No ship discourse. This is a ship based creation event and not everyone will agree on ships or will like specific ships over others

Ask before you DM other participants. Mods will have the ability to message participants about the event as needed

Posting Guidelines:

Tag posts as Valentines Core Exchange 24 verbatim.

When posting, tag the event blog and your recipient so they can easily access it.

When posting on Tumblr, put all written posts or long posts under the cut.

Properly tag content on AO3 and submit the fanfiction to the event collection. The event collection will be posted within the Discord a week before posting day.

When posting art, use image description for accessibility. This is not mandatory, but heavily encouraged.

Fill out the submission form with all locations you have posted your work on.

It is asked that you follow all of the rules. Mods will issue one warning for mild behavior and for second offenses there will be time outs within the server. Third strike or extreme/harsh behavior will cause removal from the event. Misunderstandings do happen, so if there is a mistake please inform the mods. If you see any behavior, you may contact a mod or request help from a mod in the Help Desk.

WIPBB Mini Bang 2025 - How To Post Your Complete Fic & Art  

Between February 15th and February 22d, there is a specific form we would like you to fill out to post your fanworks. It allows you bragging rights for finishing your fic/art, and also links to the location of your fic (it should be up somewhere like AO3/FF.net/your personal Tumblr under a tag/any other fic or journal community) in its completion. We also have an AO3 collection for this round where you can post the AO3 postings of your fic and art to when you are finished posting new chapters.

People honestly portray Tuvok as far too "rolling his eyes, reluctantly going along with Janeway's silly little shenanigans" - he's literally so serious about being right there with her on every decision she makes. Janeway's like "I'm going to stay behind if the ship blows up" and Tuvok's like "I'm staying with you." Janeway's like "I'm going to deliver every member of the Equinox crew into the jaws of death via an alien revenge massacre" and Tuvok protests a grand total of one time before being fully on the bridge assisting her. He was the only one with her when she made the decision to honor the caretaker's wishes and save the Ocampa, dooming them all. He was willing to get court marshalled in order to fulfill a wish she couldn't grant by her own hand: Get them home [no matter what happens to me] <- wherein 'me' is Tuvok. This was the same wish that spurred him forward when he had to leave her on that planet and everyone left thought him cold for trying to fulfill it without her when in his mind it was akin to a dying wish, the last thing she'd ever express to him: Get them home [no matter what happens to me.] <- wherein 'me' is Janeway. He told Seven that the golden rule to follow is that the captain is "ALWAYS RIGHT" <- (His ACTUAL words) and when Seven asks if the captain should be followed even if someone KNOWS she's wrong he says "Perhaps." This man is perhaps the most ride or die dude in the universe about Janeway. Despite her labeling him her 'moral compass' he is by NO means impartial or unbiased. He'd defend her to his last breath. He canonically makes detailed psychological observations about her and has for years. He accounts for her luck when calculating the success of certain plans. It's implied in 'Twisted' that Janeway typically listens to Tuvok's suggestions and follows them nearly without fail - to the point that he's surprised and obviously irritated when Chakotay doesn't. Despite this they've been inside one another's quarters so infrequently that Tuvok can remember each instance. They call each other "Captain" and "Mr. Tuvok" even though they've known each other for twenty years. There's something wrong with them.

Updated Guidelines for Dramione Month

Hello everyone! Although Dramione Month has now officially ended, we would like to address the following updated guidelines. We have three main points that we wanted to make explicit:

NO PLAGIARISED WORKS

Plagiarism is the act of stealing and passing off someone else's ideas or words as your own. This includes any use of AI in the creation of your work, whether using a chatbot like chatGPT in any capacity or utilising AI generated images to trace or reference. Plagiarism also includes the lifting of art concepts/style/composition from others’ art without credited references or permissions.

NO MONETISATION

Dramione Month's mission has always been to encourage creativity and engagement within the fandom. As a free non-commercial event, any monetised self-promotion or solicitation connected to works created for Dramione Month is not permitted. Additionally, we do not allow the sale of any works created for Dramione Month.

NO PREVIOUSLY POSTED WORKS

All works posted for Dramione Month must be new fanworks created specifically for the event. Any work that has been shared previously (whether posted independently, part of a previous Dramione Month, or part of a separate fandom event) will not be reshared to our social media platforms. Previous works will not be accepted into the AO3 Collection.

yes. it’s the moralization of a disgust response based in fatphobia. most people’s only familiarity with feedism comes from like. nikocado or people posting ragebait videos on tiktok about how they were “forced to gain weight” by an abusive feeder. feedism is literally just a kink like any other. it bears zero resemblance to pro ana and ed content because it. is. a. kink! anyone who has been in feedist spaces would know that so many of us are in ed recovery ourselves and attribute a lot of our healing to the feedism community

all this new content guideline does is give fatphobes a convenient button to press to target and remove any fat person they encounter who has the audacity to enjoy being fat and be sexual at the same time. including many people who are not feedists!!!
