Last night I prayed to an Dagda for the first time. I’m going on a new journey with Him and while it’s super personal, I’d like to share what I prayed for, in case anyone would like to pray for this too:

An Dagda, Ollathair, fáilte. Steadfast father, I am shrinking from the weight of my rage. I am struggling to discern when it can be put to meaningful use toward change. The rage at injustice turns into fear. I struggle to sever the shame enough to remain focused, hopeful. My patience is still too thin.

I ask you for inspiration and strength to be patient and wiser with my rage. I ask to expand the breadth of my patience. I ask that my shame and fear not cloud my hope and determination. Go raibh maith agat, a chara, agus slán.

While I do not really plan to seek community here in the settler-states in things like spirituality, I’m hoping that there are others out there who feel the way I do about our crimes and injustices and who seek to be ready accomplices to liberation. This would require strong principles in line with liberation. A lot of us are isolated and otherwise alone as of now, and that does make for some dark times where fear can warp us easier.

I’ll keep praying for and reflecting on what I’ve asked of an Dagda. He is a deity I wish to learn from and to emulate in daily life.

Peace,Gratitude,Abundance,Joy (add other attributes of your choice),that i am capable of holding at this time.(Feel your energy shifting)...Help me to ground this energetic vibration into Divine Mother Earth’s being...May it spread like wildfire through out her grids,ley lines,every cell,molecule,atom,

and all the spaces in between,

I now fully,completely and consciously trust that today everything I need in my life which is in divine harmony,and accordance with the highest will of my soul will come into being,gracefully,harmoniously and miraculously…

I now align my divine will,with the will of Mother ~ Father God/Source,and I command,by the authority of my Divine will,that the will of Mother ~ Father God/Source act through my life this day,for my divine will and the divine will of Mother ~ Father God / Source are one and the same…I now consciously align my magnetic energy field, with the magnetic field of abundance,of joy,of peace, and of miracles…I now align my awareness with higher wisdom, knowledge and light…I now create the manifestation of the highest will of my divine plan, and I now create and manifest an abundant life filled with the positive qualities of Mother ~ Father God / Source’s creation…
