Found out yesterday that my anxiety meds and my hormone therapy (post-cancer treatment) together “can cause electrolyte problems and heart rhythm problems” so when I was a fucking barely functional bi disaster all of last week over my now-boyfriend, having a 115BPM sometimes, and maybe taking more of my anxiety meds than I should have DO NOT FUCKING DO THAT, turns out it may have been way more emotionally intense due to the drugs in my body so that’s cool I guess :/

I know it's late to say, but I hope that Hbomb's video will encourage people to not only cite their sources but also have a good source to begin with. Don't tell me Snow White is 14 years old and then show a screenshot of a featured snippet from Google that leads back to Screenrant.com. Don't tell me Judy Garland was forced to take drugs and smoke 80 cigarettes a day by MGM and have your source be social osmosis or "Hundreds of other videos say so!" Where's that info from? Does it's source truly make sense as a source? Are there more reliable routes for sources to take outside of looking online, like reading books about the subject from people involved or seasoned/trusted in the topic? I know "Google is free", but that doesn't mean it's always good for research. Try Google Scholar at least...

also apologies in advance: my dumb ass accidentally double-dosed my meds again this morning (I tend to operate on autopilot when refilling my pill organizer every week and often forget that I already took the friday dose earlier which is why it's empty) so don't be concerned if I'm like....SUPER online and talkative in the tags today. I did some research and math to make sure I shouldn't, like, go to the ER to get my stomach pumped from 80 mgs of adderal and it's pretty clear I'll be fine--one of the rare perks of being over 200 lbs I guess lmao. But yeah expect a LOT of activity today. It's not a manic episode or anything crazy just a side effect of a higher microdose of meth than usual

Doubling up my sertraline dose for this last trimester and postpartum, on the recommendation of the midwives. I do think I've been feeling the new imbalance over the last few weeks especially. Extra weight and blood volume means that the low starter dose I've been on for years just isn't cutting it anymore. I've been doing so well with my capital-D Depression for the last few years, I sort of forgot what this lack felt like. Today I said to my partner, that even after having a spiritual awakening or whatever the fuck happened to me last summer, I still have to recognize my physical body has this chemical imbalance. The inherited biological wackiness of my brain is not magically fixed by wisdom or meditation or... really much of anything except a re-balancing of chemicals that it fails to produce on its own. I can help that along holistically with diet and other habits to reinforce a healthier hormone balance, but the majority of the weight is pulled by a single tiny pill. It's good to remind myself of this, and to remember to take the damn pills so you can remember why life is worth living???
