Initially, Bakugo is quite displeased upon meeting the eldest Todoroki face-to-face, finding his expectations shattered. He had pictured pro hero Dabi as taller and cooler, but with time, Bakugo gradually becomes fond of him, showing a basic, proper respect.

For Bakugo, interning with pro hero Dabi is the total opposite of interning with Beast Jeanist.

Instead of trying to fix Bakugo, Dabi's all about embracing the chaos. He encourages Bakugo's wild antics because, hey, scandal sells, and Dabi's the master of that game.

The real challenge for Dabi? Teaching Bakugo how to talk to the public. And trust me, public speaking isn't Bakugo's strong suit - never has been.

Dabi, in all his wisdom, throws dating advice at Bakugo, even if he didn't ask for it (because he's not a softie who's settling down, hell no!)

While fighting villains is important, Dabi drills into Bakugo that looking good doing it is equally crucial. Smile, dance, strike a pose – give the people what they want!

What Dabi appreciates about Bakugo working for him is the fact that Bakugo is very straightforward.

Dabi is thrilled with Bakugo's performance, and the younger man earns himself a spot in Dabi's Instagram highlights. This section houses some stories featuring that arsonist boy (that's Dabi's nickname for Katsuki)

Dabi asks his trusted gear designer to help improve Bakugo's hero costume, but Bakugo doesn't want to agree because he likes his costume the way it is. The young man ends up not talking to the oldest Todoroki for a day or two. Instead, he just barks at his orders, showing his unhappiness. "Tsk! when you entered the hero charts in japan, you didn’t know what to expect. your quirk had manifested much later than expected, but you seemed to be able to use it very well. you excelled in your hero studies programs in high school, but your home country was extremely sexist towards female heroes. so, you headed for japan.

you’d been living there less than a year, but couldn’t imagine your life any other way. you’d become extremely close with kirishima when you started working for his agency, which forced you and bakugou to be close. truth be told, you two couldn’t stand each other at first. you were both headstrong, stubborn, very stuck in your own ways.

but, he grew on you. not like you’d ever tell him that, but he did mean a lot to you. you two looked out for each other in battle at work, and went to war trying to out-drink each other when you went out with the rest of your friend group. even though sometimes he would unexplainably give you the silent treatment or be extra irritable with you at any given moment, you didn’t think too much of it.

so when you took a flying leap off the top of a skyscraper going after a villain, it really pissed bakugou off.

you, him, kirishima, and izuku had already been on the lookout for an anonymous criminal behind a child-trafficking scheme in the city. there was a call reported from a large medical complex building, to include a daycare center and pediatrician’s office on the floors there.

bakugou, izuku, and kirishima were handling most of the rescue aspects. thankfully, you’d all responded quick enough that no children were kidnapped or severely injured. meanwhile, you were chasing a criminal up the floors of the building, determined to get answers out of him.

“what are you doing with those kids?!”

“i-i don’t know, really! the boss just sent me here to get them!”

and he was adamantly refusing to name his boss. so when he attempted to jump off the roof of the building, you went after him without a second thought. you were wrestling with him as you both hurtled towards the ground, swearing you were either going to get answers or die trying.

bakugou saw all of this happen from ground level, using his explosions to get to you as quickly as possible.

the villain manages to clock you in the face, blurring your vision and disorienting you.

“deku!” bakugou grabs the villain by the arm, throwing him down to deku and blasting himself towards you, keeping an arm around you as he lowers you both down to the ground.

he rushes you back to the agency, the medic team examining you thoroughly. they determine that you don’t need any further medical attention, just suggesting that you rest for the remainder of the day.

you take an extra long shower in the agency locker room, surprised to see that you’re not alone when you enter the co-ed section of the locker room. bakugo is sitting with his head in hands, donning a red riot t-shirt and sweats.

“surprised you’re still here.” you open your locker, putting your suit into your duffel.

“i wanted to make sure you didn’t try to pull any stupid shit again.”

“again?”

“you’re kidding, right?”

“i have no idea what you’re talking about.”

his jaw clenches, making you raise a brow as he huffs in exasperation.

“that shit you pulled earlier! why’d you jump off the roof?!”

“oh, that.”

he stands, walking closer to you as his face heats with anger.

“oh that, like you couldn’t have died?!”

“and what if i did? that’s kind of in my contract.”

your nonchalant attitude is only infuriating him more, knowing you’re striking a nerve.

“and what if you did, seriously?? the people who care about you would be absolutely crushed and you fucking know it! stop trying to act so careless!”

“and just let that guy get away and put even more kids at risk? i don’t think so.”

“then why not send me or deku after him?! our quirks let us fly, yours doesn’t you idiot!”

“because i don’t value my own life over doing my job or those of children?! why are you acting like this?!”

“because you are trying to downplay the stupid ass decision you made! just because you’re a hero doesn’t mean you turn everything into a suicide mission!”

“and if i did die taking that guy down, who fucking cares?!”

he lets out an infuriated yell, punching a locker a few doors away from yours and completely caving in the door.

“kirishima cares! so does fucking deku, and mina, and god damn dunceface! i care, for fucks sake!”

“listen, i appreciate you all a lot. but im not gonna put any of that above saving kids, bakug-“

“katsuki.”

you pause, raising at eyebrow at his demand

you’re both breathless and red in the face, staring at each other as you both process what’s been said.

in one move, he sweeps you off your feet, wrapping your legs around him and sitting you on the counter in the lockerroom under one of the mirrors. your hands are exploring all over his upper body, one settling in his hair as you pull him impossibly close to you.

“you’re the biggest brat in the world, you know that?” he mumbles against your lips.

En was killed by being cut in half by AFO. It wasn't that he couldn't handle OFA, but that AFO just decided to nuke him

All Might says using One For All with an untrained body would make your limbs fly off. But

This isn't his limbs? Yes, that's his arm, but that's HALF OF HIS BODY

Yes, there's also the argument he could've used it on his whole body and that's the consequence but there is a small cut on his thumb. It matches the line in which he was cut in half, and blood spurts from his hand.

The translation hides it, but his thumb got cut too from the slice. His thumb wasn't the focus, but still got hit. It at least shows when En passes on OFA to Nana

Since Banjo's arms got wrecked by using OFA, maybe En used it in one leg and that's why his leg is differently-colored and looks more beat up. En probably couldn't handle the Quirk either.

This means that En was being logical and saw OFA as a tool, and only used it in a leg so he could run.

All Might specifically says an unprepared vessel's limbs will fly off. Even if En used it on his whole body, that means only his arms and legs; but that's his torso. His leg didn't go flying either; at least until they both went flying cuz he was severed.

Hawks X Reader | When You Two Started Getting Closer

A/N: I've had this idea in mind for sometime so here it is.

I could see that he would be a little bit uncomfortable at first. Not that he doesn't like it. He did, but he has never let anyone this near to his REAL personality. He always put on a show for the world, but you could see right through it all.

At first, he always brushed it off, but every encounter with you ended with him thinking, "Am I that transparent?" So to test it once more, he ends up "accidentally" bumping into you a lot. And every time, you left him even more insecure in his abilities to hide it all from the world.

You always would ask a question that'd hit a nerve but ended the conversation with such soothing words that would make him look at himself differently, in a good way.

You can see the good in him, and he always saw the bad. You were determined not to be his support system but rather to show him what you can see because you want him to be independent in his ability to bring himself up when he is down emotionally. But you ended up as both in the end.

After a couple of months, he was hooked on you! The people he hung out with were other pro heroes who would repeat the same nonsense things repeatedly or he was with press & media people who were toxic as hell! They knew exactly how to use him for their profits and hawks knew it all. But the cycle of always being in the limelight was so natural to him that now he cannot live without it.

But with you, it was all different. You could see his insecurities and his own "made-up flaws" oh-so-clearly. You confused him with your kindness and your affection. His mind would be running with questions like, "What are you even getting out of this?". This is why with you, he could feel like he just wants to let out all the emotions that he has been burying for all these years. 

He felt safe but he didn't know it yet because he never felt it before. He didn't know how it felt to be emotionally safe with someone. This broke your heart because you could see how kind he was and how observant he was for others and would sacrifice a lot for them, who would never do the same for him. Also, you can see how he is wrapped up in these materialistic dopamine kicks that are actually hurting his inner peace and happiness.

You had no motive to be with him at first because of his Playboy persona. So all you wanted for your favorite hero was to be happy off-camera too. But as you started understanding him more, somehow helping him healed you as well.

He'd get distant at times when you were too straightforward because you scared him. And you understood that, so you tried to be as subtle in helping as you could, but sometimes you just couldn't help but state the obvious. And he cannot stay away from you for long too so he'd come back around.

It came to a point that you two had very deep feelings for each other but were just confused if these were because of the way you two can see through each other or do you actually like each other.

If you could see from a third person's perspective, it could have not been any clearer that you two were in love.

Note: I will admit I approached it differently than I have with the other's ideal types. As people can grow at any age, the heroes have solidified their identity, and while personal growth will happen, I don't believe it would be as dramatic as it is when I write for students.

I will be adding Hawks sometime in the future, but I need to finish the latest seasons so that I can avoid spoilers in my research. Would you all be interested if I did either demon slayer or love languages next? should I do a Haikyuu part 2? 

Aizawa:

Aizawa needs someone who's driven. Now one initial assumption would be to push Aizawa forward but I honestly believe that Aizawa is already highly motivated himself so it'll be a relief to him on a personal level. Aizawa isn't a softy-worded man, I honestly think he'll need someone who can roll with it. I don't think he'd care about appearances like Best Jeanest, or even All Might, (after showing how he resents All Might). I think he could genuinely wind up with someone who's silly, a cutie, or a cat lover, I don't think those would be dealbreakers, but they cannot be helpless. As He's said to Deku, I don't think He'd be at peace with someone who's a liability in battle. that said, I think Aizawa would be a great partner.

Fatgum:

I think Fatgum would enjoy a partner with a lot of integrity. Fatgum always strives to do what he finds just and has a very difficult time waiting for long drawn-out plans. I don't think he'd enjoy someone who stubbornly procrastinates, but he'd love to help motivate them. I think he sees potential in his partner, not only as a hero but as a wonderful person. I honestly don't think it would matter to him if they struggled with illness or any disabilities, I don't even think he'd care if his partner was quirkless. Overall I think he's on the level of Mirio in positivity and I think He'd be a wonderful partner.

All Might:

This one was hard for me, but I think All Might would admire someone who's emotionally mature. Hear me out, All Might has worked his entire life to be the pillar of hope to the people. I think he would enjoy someone grounded and sweet. That pressure must get to him, and I think after he retires he'll find someone who really believes that he's just as special in small-might form. I think he'd crave mutual safety and someone to listen to, someone he doesn't have to smile for. If he found that in a partner, I think He'd be the happiest person in the world.

Hawks loves Dabi’s piercings. He’s so entranced by them, captivated by the way light shines on them and reflects on Dabi’s skin.

And speaking about being in love with Dabi’s features, he’s totally enamoured by Dabi’s different skin tones, bird view etc. In his eyes Dabi’s the most gorgeous person he’s ever met and is unable to understand Dabi’s jokes about his appearance.

Hawks sees the sky in Dabi’s eyes, Dabi sees the sunset at golden hour in Hawks’. They could stare in each other’s eyes for hours.

Dabi realizing Hawks is definitely very different from his public persona. He loves that Hawks is so calm but has such a sharp mind; most of all, he’s surprised he actually cares about people. He’s the only true hero he’s ever known.

Dabi not taking any bullshit facade from Hawks and pushing him again and again until Hawks finally understands and breaks from his shakles and riots against the Commission. (Best flavour).

Dabi always brings one of Hawks’ feathers with him. Pre-PLF he used to keep it in his coat’s pockets, but when they lived at the villa he has around his neck as a necklace, like a declaration.

Same for Hawks, who switches his trademark ruby studs with turquoise ones, even outside the villa, when he’s on patrol.

Hawks isn’t ashamed of his bird traits, he’s just not used to indulging in them. Dabi’s shocked when he finds out and absolutely loves them to the moon and back, both when Hawks softly trills and chirps during cuddles, and when they’re in bed.

Hawks getting super protective over Dabi when he's in feral mode or during a fight, shielding him with his wings and snarling at their opponents, while Dabi thinks it's fucking hot.

Hawks helping Dabi touching up his roots without ever asking anything and taking care of his staples and scars; Dabi helps Hawks preen his wings (finds it relaxing too!). Also, he gives a killer back massage with his warm hands.

I just love that their story unfolds in winter, bc Hawks hates the cold and is drawn to Dabi’s warmth. He could doze off just laying with his head in Dabi’s lap, surrounded by his warmth. The best’s at night, when they sleep together and Hawks drapes his wing over Dabi’s body.

Hawks has freckles, your honor. Dabi counts them absentmindedly every time they’re close to each other and Hawks isn’t watching (already asleep, staring at the city on a rooftop etc)

Once they're comfortable enough with each other, they become super cuddly. Also, Hawks’s wings unconsciously and lightly brush against Dabi or almost-wrap around him when they’re close together, even when they’re in public.

Nicknames! Birdie/pretty bird/angel/dove/hot stuff. They barely use each other's names when they’re talking to each other. Hawks can understand Dabi’s mood by which one he uses and how he pronounces it.

Postwar, Hawks visits Touya when he’s recovering at the hospital. Doesn’t dare to hold his hand though. He doesn’t even talk to him, but is unable to stay away from him while his heart clenches. He still feels guilty. 

Hawks fully supports Touya’s recovery and therapy but still doesn’t dare to actually address anything until Touya just has enough, pulls him close and kisses him.
