I've had the idea of this image for some time in my head, ever since we found out that my puppet druid Amento is the second artificial version of the jester in the original Ravenloft court. He's been having a tough time trying to live up to his past lives, and the fact that h̸̳̜͛î̵̙̦́s̴̝̳̆̏ o̴̧̯͗̓ň̴̞l̴̙̥̓y̸̹̒̒ p̷̟̱̼̱͉̋̓̓͒̽u̷͎̎̏͑͆̀ř̴̺p̶̺̦̑̈̕o̸̘̿̃̈́͑s̵̹̥͕͕̊̃͊ȩ̵̢̻͍̥͒̂̄ is̶̢͈̱̟̾̿͝ to̶̠͋ k̵̞̥̥̀̍̕e̴͔̩͗̈͠e̴̠̬͍̜̊͊̽́̊p̵̧̛̀̽ Ir̸̟̖̳̗̦͌͒͠ȅ̴̥͂e̴͍̽̿̓͐n̶̡̧̛̹̞̤͂͠a̶̧͔̪̻̮͒̈́̈́̎͑ h̶̬̼͈͉̄̒͐̀a̴̛̝̳͔͌p̴̪͒͌p̸̛͇͕̽͗̽ỷ̸̢̖̚ is not helping. He has met both of his past versions, and both of them feel very uncanny to him, like that strange repulsion you get when hearing your own voice played back to you. 🌚

Talking about the voices, we had a part where our party heard their own voices reciting the prophecy back at them, and I love imagining how Amento thought that it sounded like the voices of his friends + Pidlwick, as it has never occurred to him that they share the same voice. ✨

Hello!!

Well, it's actually a lot simpler than you'd think! All the puppets have blank faces, and I have their expressions, opened eyes, closed eyes, side-eyes, mouth pieces, the whole lot!! Then it's a matter of putting it on the face, which, simply put, is just slapping them on. No kidding. They're made of felts, so there's some grip, emphasis on some... (the amount of time's eyes pop off during animation is nightmare inducing-) But they stay there most of the time! It works!

AU INFORMATION:

An AU taking place after EPIC. Antinous is saved by a god [I won't say which yet] and wakes up in Aeaea, much to Circe's disgust

The two are extremely annoyed after being informed that Antinous will be the Eternal Servant of Circe for as long as the Gods make him do so.

Antinous is relatively the same, but he's scared. He can't risk angering his Goddess, and he knows something bad could happen if he spoke out of line.

Antinous, for once, is finally being Held Down.

Circe and Antinous are as opposite as opposites could go, the two standing for everything the other despises. They'll obviously grow a bit closer as the blog continues! But they'll start off despising each other
