Colors: gold/bronze, red for Trojan War. blue, white for his mother Thetis

PATROCLUS: hero of the Trojan war, son of Argonaut Menoetius

Colors: gold/bronze, red for war. purple for royal birth

Offerings: incense/fire, oil, olive, laurel, gemstones, gold/silver

Crystals: agates (moss, tree especially), amethyst, lepidolite, rose quartz, citrine

ADONIS: lover of Aphrodite, became god of rebirth and beauty

Colors: pink, purple, red for beauty and association with Aphrodite

Offerings: fast growing plants (lettuce, fennel, barley, wheat), anemone and other flowers, dead plants, cake, honey

Crystals: flower agate, rose quartz, amethyst, rutilated quartz, jaspers (specifically rainforest or other green ones)

ARIADNE: helped Theseus to defeat the Minotaur, later married Dionysus and became goddess of labyrinths

CASTOR AND POLLUX: Pollux was a son of Zeus who shared his immortality Castor, they were turned into the Gemini constellation, saviors of seafarers

ODYSSEUS: clever hero of Homer's "The Odyssey," favored by Athena

ORION: lover of Artemis, was turned into a constellation after death. Sirius is his dog and Scorpius the scorpion that slayed him

ORPHEUS: son of Apollo, famed musician and poet of the Argonauts, travelled to Haides to try to save his wife Eurydice

Crystals: aventurine, obsidian, black tourmaline, smokey quartz, selenite, yellow jasper, honey calcite

PERSEUS: son of Zeus, slayer of Medusa, has a constellation

Colors: gold and red for hero status. white, grey, blue for association with Zeus

Offerings: meat, laurel, snake shed, alcohol, fruit, honey, milk (to honor his mother Danae)

THESEUS: slayer of the Minotaur, united Attica, completed six trials for the entrances to the Underworld that he passed on the way to Athens

Colors: blues for ocean, being a son of Poseidon (in some stories)

Crystals: pyrite, sodalite, lapis lazuli, coral, blue aventurine, aquamarine

i know in the show a lapis + jasper makes malachite but. see she’s a rainforest jasper. totally different. trust

The hair is meant to mimic a river or waterfall, as another nod to Jimmy.

Two sets of arms so they can hug their friends with one pair and beat up their enemies with the other.

Single water wing for Aesthetic only

Horns are from Cleo but the little prong things are meant to mimic the little water stems on Jimmy’s ears!

Alexandrite (the actual gem) looks different colors depending on the light you look at it in! I feel like it fits these two well, since they seemingly have such contrasting personalities, but have very similar core values and views on loyalty.

Hello everyone! I have completely restarted this blog, and plan on organizing it better now. All posts, asks, and drafts have been deleted.

Anyways, I'm Jasper, and I use any pronouns but she :) (favorites are he/it). My main blog is @retic-pithon, and more info about me on there, but some things I'll include is that I'm autistic, I have a variety of anxiety disorders, my main theriotypes are czechoslovakian wolfdog and baryonyx, and I appreciate tone tags! I usually use them myself and sometimes forget.

How to request a moodboard -

Include an animal, your theriotype, and either the theme and overall idea, or a pride flag (pansexual caracal mood board in the examples section, and jaguar rainforest themed one)

Nickname/s: RJ, Rain, Rainy, Forest, Greenie. Gem Location: Neck Weapon/s: Club (It appears more like a baseball bat) Rarity and Status: Rare Working Middle Class Gem (Slightly defective) Role on Homeworld: Warrior/Tank Gem Unique Powers/Abilities: Soundwave manipulation

History:

Like all Quartz', Jaspers are noted of being beings of pure strenght. But unlike other quartz's like Agate's, Chalcedony's, Jaspers were made to be large tanking beings. Capable of withstanding large amounts of damage and preforming feats of great strength. If not on the battlefield, Jaspers are usually made to be guards. Their large size being one of their most known attributes. So Rainforest Jasper first emerged, being one of the first, in fact. He was early. He had come out of the clutch of Jaspers just a bit earlier than planned. At first, they assumed nothing was wrong, but after more started to appear. They quickly noticed this Jasper wasn't quite right... while he was still tall, he lacked the iconic shape most Jaspers do. He was skinnier and shorter compared to most Jaspers, his flaw being made completely obvious when forced to be among others of his kind. If it wasn't for his rarity and the fact that his defect was 'small', Rainforest Jasper was spared from a fate of being shattered... but it was agreed by the gems in charge of his production that he would be put in a guarding position. They had little faith that this defect could survive long in battle. RJ always wanted to try and prove this wrong, unfortunately he never had the chance. Not one that Homeworld would know of anyway... His new position was eventually sorted and he was taken to the gem that he'd be made to follow and guard wherever they went. Opalised Petrified Wood. A rare elegant gem who was made to be in charge of the production of Ambers for Homeworld. It didn't take him long to admire her utter beauty as she looked down at him, a tall radiant gem... but when they first got to talk and he got to hear this gentle, kind being treat him the nicest he has since he's come from the ground. He fell for her immediately and swore to himself that he was going to protect this gem with his very life.

Their bond would grow stronger, even if it was unusual for both of them. They were both aware their closeness was not deemed appropriate... but with spending so much time together. RJ always at her side, listening to her, talking to her, cheering her up. It was no wonder Petri grew to love this gem, as he did with her...

Unfortunately, RJ's loyalty and drive to protect her was one of his biggest mistakes... one that almost cost him his life Something had happened and Petrified Wood was asked to see Black Diamond himself, of course RJ accompanied her. He was doing as expected in front of other gems, stand quietly, his job wasn't to speak or do anything aside from protect her from threats. But his anger was rising himself, Black Diamond was a cruel being, they all knew this and had to deal with it, But Petri didn't deserve this... and he couldn't take it anymore. So he snapped and began yelling at Black Diamond, coming to Petri's defense. It all just came out. His voice boomed and echoed around Black Diamonds throne room... and then silence. It finally hit him what he had just done... oh stars. He was dead. He had just mouthed off to Black Diamond, the ruler of Homeworld.

Black Diamond said nothing but stared at him, death in his dark eyes. RJ just fell back into silence and went back to standing next to Petri in quiet terror. While both he and Petri had expected him to be poofed and shattered at that very moment, it seemed Black Diamond had not been in the mood to do the dirty work himself. Instead demanding that Petrified Wood were to dispose of this Jasper immediately and she'd get a replacement. And she agreed, obeying her diamond as she turned to leave with RJ being made to follow. At this point he had been fighting off tears and shaking terribly, he was going to die. All because he couldn't keep his mouth shut. However, when they had a moment alone, Petri stopped and turned to him, her hands on his shoulders and looking into her eyes desperate. "Go", she told him. She couldn't bare the idea of shattering him, but he couldn't stay, his best to chance to survive was to flee. She told him she knew what to say but he wouldn't be able to come back. He needed to run and never look back. RJ didn't want to leave her... he loved her. He wanted to be by her side forever, but she was right... there was no other way. So he had to say goodbye to the love of his life.

And to this day, Rainforest hasn't seen her since. But he has never stopped thinking of her, and he's never stopped loving her. He just hopes that she's still around and maybe... she still thinks of him. RJ had made a small team of companions of other rebel gems, ones he'd call his close friends. And joined a large group of rebels that wanted to fight for their freedom and explore the galaxy to their hearts desire, fighting against Homeworld if they tried to stop them. His life had never been better but even now, he still hopes for one more thing. That maybe one day, he and Petrified Wood can be together again.

Stobotnik!StevenUniverse AU character sheets number two!! Yes, there's still more😔

Sonic the hedgehog– tanzanite in a teardrop shape and located on his back. When going supersonic by basically fusing with the seven chaos emeralds, he becomes a blue amber (the version with flecks of yellow) his character, along with sonics gang, replaces the humans in Steven universe, but being mobian x gemstone crosses.

Shadow the hedgehog – black and red opal, but shaped like a diamond on his chest fluff. It was hand chiseled, as a result of him being made by white diamond (Gerald robotnik) as a replacement for red diamond/Ivo, because he believes that eggman wouldn't be good enough for the role of a diamond, especially because of the plan for a war going on at the time

Miles "tails" prower – citrene, triangle shaped and located on his left shoulder. His character is a lot like Steven and amethyst in this universe, and he's the youngest of the main group, like in the actual sonic universe. He's not very powerful compared to the other mobians, due to the fact that his gem is alot smaller and his being was formed alot later than most gems.

Knuckles the echidna – garnet, circle gem located on the back of his hand. It's technically covered by his gloves, but it bulges out of the fabric, and that part is painted red by kuckles to show where his gem is. Like in the games, he protects the master emerald. His race (the echidnas) we're one of the first gem/mobians formed on earth

Amy rose – rose quartz, heart shaped and located on her stomach. Her hammer is made out of pure red mimetite and carved herself. She was the first gem that robotnik saw when he was examining earth from homeword, and he based his gem form off her, that being the reason why they're both quartz variants

Rouge the bat – blue beryl, a circle located on her chest/upper sternum. Her race (the bats) was the second to form on earth, after the echidnas. The bats immediately tried to steal the master emerald, and were fighting with the echidnas for a long time. Because of this, rouge got her instinct to steal and her shared hatred of knuckles

Silver the hedgehog – parabia tourmaline, cushion shaped on he palm of his hand. The hedgehog kind was the first mobian x gem mix who were able to possess actual magic, the type varying on the gem type and placement. Thus why shadow was made with the DNA of the hedgehog species. Alot of silvers powers come from his hands, due to that being where his gem is placed

Blaze the cat – dragons breath opal, placed on her forehead. She has a very rare gem, the only one of its kind, made as a last ditch effort for the gem war, but quickly abandoned when they weren't able to attach a consciousness to gem. The gem was only given a conciseness years later, when it fused with mobian DNA. The uniqueness of the gem also gave her the power to use magic like the hedgehogs

Cream the bunny – amber gemstone placed between the collarbones. Like tails, it's a much smaller gem, therefore she is alot weaker than most. Other than that, there's not much more about her character

Espio the chameleon – golden beryl, placed where the horn (??) is on the game character design, in-between the eyes. Though, even if his gem is yellow, has the ability to change his skin color, and usually keeps it as purple. He has a similar gem type to rouge due to both being stealthy thieves and warriors

Charmy the bee – honey calcite, a rectangle that goes all the way down his spine and is between where his wings are attached. He has two sets of arms

Victor the crocodile – rainforest Jasper, but with small flecks of red. the location of it replaced one of the red spines going down his body, specifically on the back of his head

Big the cat – red capped amethyst, his gem is placed just above his belly button, where the buckle of his belt would usually be in his original sonic form

For context bc I don’t think I’ve actually talked about it too much here, Sharpstone is my beloved supernatural story that I’ve had churning in my brain for woof. Like 7 years now? A lot has changed/is being changed but it revolves around a forest/mountains/park (Sharpstone) that’s a hotspot for supernatural events and home to many creatures and mysterious forces. The primary characters are Jasper, a resident of Sharpstone town and somewhat of a caretaker for the forest, and Lio, Jasper’s ex-best friend/situation ship who is called in as a researcher. Also Kate, Jasper’s adoptive sister who manages the forest and its dealings with the human world. Very pnw/temperate rainforest inspired landscapes because I love them ❤️

A young forest elephant trots along with its parents in Lopé National Park, Gabon, along one of many paths that generations of the animals have cut through the fruit-rich rainforest. Elephants pass on the knowledge of what to forage, where to find it, and when it’s likely to be ripe. Researchers have discovered that Earth’s warming temperatures could be lowering the fruit yield of many species of trees at the park, which in turn seems to be causing some forest elephants to go hungry.
