Now Danny would openly admit, if only to himself, that he had a type when it came to relationships. If they were strong, if they were a threat to him, then chances were he would develop some sort of crush. It was how he had dated Sam and Valerie (And Johnny & Kitty) when he was a bit younger, and hell, Sam had technically succeeded in killing him, even if partly. 

Attraction towards smart people who could kill him was honestly par for the course for a Fenton or Nightingale anyway. 

And he’d also admit he enjoyed a bit of time travel, learning about times and culture long before his time, to the point that he could blend in in ancient times just as easily as the time he had been born in. That it was natural to mutter in a language lost to time. 

So color him surprise when another man perks up in the bar he had paused to get a drink in, vibrant green eyes gleaming in interest and responds in turn. And not just in the language, but able to keep up when he talks about things that once existed but haven’t been rediscovered yet. 

And one thing led to the other, and there might have been some assassins and some shenanigans that end with them both laughing together in an inn and then more and- Okay he has a type alright, and he’s ticking each box! How is that fair?

After watching some monkey documentaries and primatology reports; I have discovered that a common theme among orphaned and/or socially isolated macaques is oral fixation - as they lack a mother, they subconciously seek out oral stimulation via thumb-sucking or chewing on twigs to simulate nursing. These repetitive behaviors follow them into adulthood, even when they've grown into healthy wild monkeys. Some even continue the behavior when they have their own infants, mimicking their baby's behavior via twig-chewing.

The Zone is down.

It is a horrible truth, the destruction of home was inevitable and that doesn't lessen the pure hurt he feels during the final moments.

Every life, every death, the memories of many. All seal in a sphere of a fallen sky, in the soft palms of their king.

Their boy king leaves, bringing along his people, infinite in number and all sleeping, none the wiser.

It will take time to re-create their home, nothing impossible, however. The sphere in his hands, pulsing with life and humming with power, the child and successor of the Infinite Realms.

Many lives are lost, many are ended and every single one will remembered.

So when he takes refuge in a strange dimension, he receives care in their base in space, a room and slowly opens up.

It's only then that he allows himself to grief.

暗い屋敷の地下に眠る謎多き男

The mysterious man who sleeps in the basement of a gloomy mansion

神羅屋敷地下の一室に棲まう、警備員自称する男。研究室のロックを解除する権限を持つようだが、ふだんは棺桶のなかでね眠りについており、必要最低限の対応しか行かわない。

元タークスという記録が神羅の端末に残されているほか、かつては研究者の護衛役として神羅屋敷に滞在していたと語るものの、それ以外の素性はほとんど謎。セフィロスと何らかの因縁があるらしく、クラウドたちがセフィロスを追っていると知り、彼らに同行する。

Dwelling in a single room in the basement of the Shinra Mansion is a man who calls himself a security guard.* He seems to have the authority to unlock the laboratory, however, usually he just sleeps in a coffin, and doesn’t do anything more than required beyond the bare minimum.

Records left on Shinra’s computer terminal state that he is a former Turk, and he has mentioned that in the past he used to serve as a bodyguard for Shinra researchers, but other than that, the rest of his identity remains a mystery. He seems to have some kind of connection to Sephiroth, and once he learns that Cloud’s team is pursuing Sephiroth, he decides to travel along with them.

(*Ok I am dumb this just hit me like a ton of bricks. “Security guard” that guards the entrance to hell? In Greek mythology, that’s Cerberus. They are not being subtle about this at ALL. Amazing.)

(This is purely conjecture, but. Are the first three monsters like the heads of Cerberus, and Chaos = Hell? And this explains why his ultimate weapon is actually Death Penalty and not Cerberus. Guyysssss the devs thought this THROUGH.)

speaking of the black materia scene, the way cloud flies off the rails while he’s chasing aerith is so wild. the deranged laughter, the begging, the whimpering! cody christian, you will always be famous.

Easily my favorite bit of acting in the entire game. Cody UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT. Honestly he brings so much to Cloud and I couldn't think of a better voice for this character.

What a legend.

You know with how much I post about my OC's and bounce around the stories like a merry-go-round, I realized- wait a minute, my audience probably doesn't know what the hell all this shit is!

So here you go, a mini-guide to my current OC fixations! Some I'm hoping to make into comics, some are just for fun. For anyone curious, I hope this helps with getting to know my original stories more!

my brain immediately latches onto Dasheng (Hero is Back) for some reason cus theres a bit in the song sequence of HiB where Silly Girl does a very baby-monkey esque move of clinging to his arm and climbing onto his back, and Dasheng just accepts it and carries her for the next scene.

He doesn't even comment or look mad that the baby straight up peed on him. To him it's just another tiresome monkey cub he's caring for.

Smokey (Reborn) does something similar to Fruitie/Qi Energy when they first meet where he offers his hand to them to grab onto. Btw in the first photo, Fruitie is sucking on Smokey's finger like how a unweaned baby monkey do. Also lets appriciate Smokey instinctually catching the baby one-handed when he fell off his shoulder like a monkey parent do.

Strangely enough, Fruitie directly calls Smokey a "stone monkey" after hearing that he was born from a rock. Little guy is pretty smart, probably he knew about them in the past.

Most of my aus is the different Sun Wukongs getting overrun by a baby monkey.
