------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What if he says no?"
Stan snorts. "You think Richie is going to say no to marrying you? He would've married you the second you walked in that goddamn restaurant."
Eddie looks at Stan. "What are you doing here? You're Richie's best man, not mine."
"Richie's already waiting for you." Stan answers.
"Then what are you doing here? Go walk with Bill down the aisle! You have to go before me!" Eddie says.
He's been frantic with worry pretty much the entire time leading up to the wedding is no exception. Stan says it's annoying. Richie says it's adorable.
Stan rolls his eyes but walks out of the room. Bill gives him a warm smile before he follows him and Eddie is left alone.
He looks in the mirror, adjusting the collar of his shirt. He's kind of scared. Well, no. That's not right. He's not scared, he knows this is right, he's just...worried.
Worried about all the things that can go wrong because they can. Richie could say no or there could be a fire or fuck, Richie could just drop dead.
But that's not going to happen. At least that's what Richie says. And he can trust Richie.
He takes a breath and opens the door to the aisle. He almost freezes again when he sees Richie standing there. Fuck, he looks so good.
He walks out, having to bite his tongue so he doesn't cry. He's pretty sure he's never been this happy.
He stops when he stands in front of Richie, who has a bright smile on his face.
He'd wanted to wear one of those stupid tuxedo shirts but Richie had managed to convince him otherwise.
"Hey, Eds." Richie whispers.
"Shut up." Eddie giggles, sticking his tongue out at him.
"Such a child." Richie says, kicking him lightly until Mike, who they got to officiate, clears his throat.
"I'm just going to cut to the chase since I'm pretty sure Richie won't wait very long to kiss Eddie, so why don't we start with vows?" Mike says, looking between them.
"Right, yes. Me first." Richie grins. Eddie laughs and Richie clears his throat. "Okay. Eddie, my love, I don't even know how to start this. I've been in love with you since I was a little kid with glasses in a twin sized bed. I know forgot about you, you forgot about me too, but I never forgot that love. I love you, Eddie Kaspbrak, and I always will."
There's a silence while Eddie takes a breath, wiping the tears from his eyes before Richie takes his hands.
"Richie." Eddie says, voice shaking, making Stan laugh. "Richie, I love you. I don't-there's not words to express how I feel about you. I would...I would jump off a bridge if all you did was ask and you know how fucking scared I am of dying. I would die for you, Rich, but I don't want to. I want to live for you. I want to live for you and with you for the rest of my life."
Mike looks between them before taking the rings from Stan. "Rings." He says to them, handing them to each of them.
Eddie really does start crying when Richie slides the ring onto his finger and he realizes Richie is crying too.
"Alright," Mike says. "Do you, Eddie Kaspbrak, take Richie Tozier to be your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, till death do you part?"
"I do." Eddie says, barely above a whisper.
"And do you, Richie Tozier, take Eddie Kaspbrak to be your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, till death do you part?" Mike asks.
"Fuck, yeah, I do!" Richie says and Eddie laughs.
"I now pronounce you husbands! You may kiss the groom."
As soon as the words leave his mouth, Richie is grabbing Eddie by the waist and kissing him. The crowd cheers but Eddie can't hear it. All he can feel, hear, see, is Richie. And now he gets him for the rest of his life.

Enemies to Lovers but in that very specific way where Person B turns Person A's face to get a better look at a bruise that they definitely didn't put there and B says, maybe even growls a little bit, "Who did this?"
Let me explain.
Enemies, right? Your OTP fights with each other all the time. It's not unusual for someone to walk away bruised or marked up. It's what they do. That's who they are.
But they start shifting, right? The jabs and barbs soften, lose their heat but start burning in a different way. It become less about making their day miserable and more about just wanting to be part of their day.
But your OTP isn't alone in the world. There are other enemies, right?
They're basically lovers at this point if they would ever just admit it. The sexual tension between them has long been due to snap. They're meeting up now to just be together, not to antagonize or quip. But what's this?
Person B greets A as usuall, waves at them from a distance. B notices that A is doing anything they can to avoid looking right at B. That won't do. That won't do at all.
"Hey," B says, grabbing A's arm, not too hard but hard enough to make sure A knows this is an inescapable discussion, "What's wrong?" They've come too far to lose it all now.
But A still won't turn their face towards B.
B softens their grip when they can feel A trembling. "Hey," B says, whisper-soft, concerned. B places a hand on A's cheek and forces their eyes to meet, a small gasp escaping at the sight revealed to them.
A's bruised and scuffed up. Beneath B's immediate concern is a boiling pit of rage. B's gentle press around the worst of the bruises belies their dark tone. "Who did this?"
You get what I'm saying? Enemies to Lovers in this very specific way.

Blind Steve, while happy that Robin isn't treating him differently, doesn't really appreciate it when she steers him in wrong directions. Although, he was happy when she pushed him into a chair, and it turned out to be Eddie's lap. Eddie was happy, too. . . Who wants to write this?

A offers B a hip massage after taking it up the ass for the first time and it just leads to more sex.
Or it maybe it doesn't. Maybe it just leads to some nice cuddles and emotional intimacy. That's super cool too. If not much cooler.

Not sure if you still post for the IT fandom but 18+reddie pretty please
Thank you! Number 18 was Ghost Towns by Radical Face, so here's a bit of established-relationship Reddie returning to Derry.
-
no past or future here
~800 words
-
Just past the Derry town line, Richie swerves the car to the right so suddenly that Eddie thinks an animal must have run out in the road. Then he brakes jerkily and guides it onto the shoulder, gravel crunching beneath the wheels. The close-growing goldenrod brushes against the passenger door as he throws it into park with a lurch.
Eddie lifts his head, blinking heavily. Usually, he drives—Richie likes to tease him for being a control-freak, but the truth is they’re both happier when Richie can fuck around on his phone and Eddie can focus on the road instead of biting his tongue on complaints about how fast Richie tends to take the turns—but he took a Xanax on the plane and he's still a little groggy.
“You okay?” he asks.
“Yep,” Richie says tightly.
“You're not about to throw up, are you?”
Richie shakes his head. His shoulders heave, and he says, “No, I think I'm gonna fucking cry.”
“Oh,” Eddie says. And then, “Oh, shit, sweetheart, come here—”
Richie folds into his arms. It’s awkward with the center console between them, the cup-holder digging into Eddie’s hip, but he pays it no mind. Richie is clutching at him—shoulder, hip, the back of his head, quick frantic touches like he’s reassuring himself that Eddie is here—and his whole body shakes with sobs. It’s deeply jarring. Richie is a self-proclaimed crybaby, inclined to get teary-eyed at movies and romantic gestures and often enough during sex, but the only time Eddie has ever seen him cry like this in all the time they’ve been together was at his father’s funeral.
Just like he did then, Eddie holds him close and tries his best to hide his shock.
“Hey,” he says softly, into Richie’s hair. “Hey, it’s okay, you’re okay, come on.”
“Yeah,” Richie says raggedly. His face is still pressed to Eddie’s shoulder; Eddie’s t-shirt is wet with tears and snot, but he’ll worry about that later. "This fucking place. Do you remember?"
"Some," Eddie admits. He's been getting bits and pieces ever since Mike's phone call. It's all still tangled up: the playground and the Barrens and the bridge with friendly phrases like suck my infected cockkk carved on it. Big Bill. Stanley. Mike and Beverly and Ben. Sepia-toned flashes of memory, all out of order. Playing Chutes and Ladders on the floor of the Denbrough house with Bill and Georgie. Standing in the funeral home in his one good suit, watching Bill stare at a tiny coffin with a blank, stunned numbness that seemed beyond tears.
There's more. He knows there's more. More, and impossibly worse.
“Something really bad happened to us here, didn’t it?” Richie asks eventually. His voice is still thick.
Eddie nods. That memory still feels slippery and shadowed, like he’s digging through dark mud to grasp at some slimy wriggling thing with sharp teeth, but it’s there. The echo of that fear. Richie’s voice, young and terrified and furious, screaming, welcome to the Loser’s Club, asshole!
“Yeah,” he says. His voice is rusty, creaking, strange. An old door hinge on an old house with something terrible underneath it.
His mind slams down on the thought nearly as soon as it surfaces, but the dread remains.
“Yeah,” Richie says. He straightens finally, wiping ineffectively at his face, and Eddie allows annoyance and instinct to override him for a moment.
“Stop that, Jesus, you’re just going to smear snot all over your hand,” he says, leaning down to root through the bag at his feet until he comes up with a packet of wet wipes, which he hands to Richie. Richie takes it, and gives him an extremely wobbly smile.
“I love you,” he says.
Eddie squeezes his eyes shut. “Yeah.” And then, “I don’t want to go back.”
“We don’t have to,” Richie says immediately. “Seriously. Say the word and I’ll turn around right now. We can be at the airport by three. We don’t owe this town shit.”
For some reason, even though he was just thinking exactly the same thing, that gives Eddie pause.
“Not the town,” he says, “but.”
“Them, yeah.” Richie sags back against his seat, then sets the wipes down to drag both hands through his hair. “Fuck.”
“I don’t want to go back,” Eddie says again, and this time he finishes it. “But we do have to, don’t we.”
He doesn’t phrase it as a question, but Richie nods anyway. His hands drop, flex in his lap. Eddie can see the scar on his palm—the familiar little white line that he’s run his fingers over so many times, marveling thoughtlessly at its similarity to the one on his own hand. And no fucking wonder. They both came from the same piece of broken glass. He reaches out to touch it, then brings Richie’s palm to his lips. Richie lets him do it, then cups his chin and draws him into a brief kiss that still tastes like salt.
“Okay,” he says when they break apart. “Okay.”
Eddie drops back into his seat and re-buckles his belt. Richie nods, and then turns the key, puts the car back in drive, and pulls out onto the road.

For the soft fic prompt thing could you maybe do number 3 or 30?
sorry anon that this took forever to reply to!!! hope you enjoy reading :D
3: forehead kisses
There were lots of things that Richie loved about his boyfriend.
He loved Eddie's smile, and the loud laugh that he let sometimes slip whenever he heard something really funny. He loved the way Eddie cared for him- both in a physical way, in making sure Richie ate lunch every day, as well as an emotional way, in giving Richie a shoulder to cry on and giving him loving reassurance whenever he felt down. He loved the way Eddie cuddled into him at night like a koala bear, wrapping his arms and legs around Richie so tightly that Richie wouldn't be able to get up if he tried (it's made Richie late for work a few times, but he doesn't mind in the slightest).
One of the other things that Richie loves about Eddie, is that Eddie is the perfect height for forehead kisses.
When Richie is cooking dinner and Eddie comes to stand beside him, Richie can easily plant a kiss on his forehead. When they're sitting on the couch together and Eddie falls asleep, he is always just at the perfect height and angle against Richie's chest for Richie to wake him up with a gentle kiss to his forehead. When Eddie comes home from a bad day at work and he walks straight into Richie's arms for some comfort, automatically tilting his head up ever so slightly to give Richie access to his forehead.
Richie showed his love for Eddie in a thousand different ways, but a gentle press of his lips to Eddie’s forehead was definitely one of his favourites.
BONUS: Growing up, Eddie had always… disliked his height. He had always been short than his friends, his classmates, and even throughout college and his young adult years, he always found himself to be one of the shortest in whatever group he was in.
For nearly 40 years, he had always disliked his height… until he started dating Richie, and discovered that he was just the right height to receive a forehead kiss from Richie.
For the first time in his life, Eddie hoped his growth spurt would never come.
30. ‘this is my husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/partner etc.’
"Oh my god, did you see who's over there?"
"No, who?"
"Over at the bar- that's Richie Tozier!"
"Who?"
Bill raised his eyebrows at his coworkers. "Richie Tozier?" he repeated. "The comedian? He's like, one of the most popular guys in comedy these days? He's starring in that upcoming movie with Brad Pitt?"
Beverly rolled her eyes, taking a sip of her drink. "You know I don't watch that kind of stuff, Denbrough."
"That's not the point," Bill said, looking back across the room to the tall, curly-haired man standing at the bar. "What the hell is Richie Tozier doing here, at our office party?"
"It's a public bar, Bill," Ben pointed out. "Ever think that maybe he's just here to get a drink?"
Stanley frowned. "A rich, world-famous comedian is getting a drink in a tiny, crowded, 2-star pub in Brooklyn?" He shook his head as he watched the comedian chat animatedly with the bartender. "Doesn't add up."
"Well, you can't be implying that he's here for the office party, right?" Mike said.
"No, but, I mean there must be a reason-"
"Hi, everyone."
While they were all indeed curious about Richie Tozier's attendance at their little party, Stanley's theory was cut short by a new addition to their table as Eddie Kaspbrak squeezed himself into the spot in between Beverly and Mike.
Eddie Kaspbrak was very much a part of this little office friend group, though he was the most mysterious out of all of them. He didn't talk much about his personal life... or anything other than work, really. So while things like Stanley's marriage and kid on the way, Beverly's side business, and the novel that Bill was attempting to write when he wasn't in the office were all common knowledge amongst them, the most that any of them really knew about Eddie was that he was married- and only because of the ring on his finger, not because he had told them. They were all definitely curious about the mysterious life of Eddie Kaspbrak, but they also respected him enough not to pry.
They all returned cheerful hello's and how are you's in reply to Eddie, but when Bill noticed the comedian at the bar move out of the corner of his eye, their conversation from before quickly resumed. "Hey, Eddie, do you know who Richie Tozier is?"
Eddie's eyes widened slightly, and if Bill wasn't mistaken, he seemed to have the slightest hint of a smile on his face. "I've heard of him," Eddie replied.
"Well, he's here, apparently," Beverly said. "And Bill's getting all excited about it."
"I am not getting all excited about it," Bill said, to which Beverly grinned. "I'm just wondering why he's here."
"Maybe you should go ask him," Ben suggested. "Maybe he'll even give you his autograph."
"Oh, shut it, Hanscom."
"What do you think, Eddie?" Mike asked, after the laughter and Bill's blush had died down. "Any ideas on why a famous celebrity would be here, at this bar, at our office party?"
Eddie glanced between his friends, his cheeks flushing a light pink. He looked almost nervous, but the smile on his face seemed to grow. "Ah," he said after a few moments of thought. "Well, actually, you see-"
"Eds!"
A voice cut through the music playing and all the conversation around them, and when Bill looked over to the source, he couldn't believe his eyes.
Richie Tozier was walking towards them, a big grin on his face, and his eyes set on Eddie. Bill thought he must be mistaken, that Richie Tozier was definitely not approaching them, that he was calling for someone else who just happened to have a similar nickname to Eddie, there was just no way...
So Bill could only watch in amazement and confusion as Richie Tozier stopped directly beside Eddie, and handed him one of the drinks in his hand. "They didn't have your favourite wine," Richie said as Eddie took the glass. "Or your second favourite, either. So I got your third favourite, which I know is not ideal, but it's the best this place and their pathetic wine selection could do."
Nobody could quite believe what they were seeing, or hearing. The five of them had worked with Eddie for almost six years now, and collectively they probably knew five facts about Eddie Kaspbrak... but somehow, celebrity comedian Richie Tozier has the knowledge of Eddie's favourite type of wine, as well as his second, and third? And he even has a nickname for Eddie, who as far as Bill knew, hated when people tried to give him a nickname?
Eddie glanced down at his wine, not looking too happy about having to settle for his third choice, but looked back up to Richie with a smile and thanked him anyways. Richie beamed proudly as he took a sip of his own drink, before glancing over to the group standing around them, and the five pairs of eyes staring at them in surprise. "So, Eds," Richie said. "You gonna introduce me to your friends or what?"
Eddie returned his attention back to his friends, and Bill noticed that his blush was even more prominent now, though his smile was as big as Bill had ever seen it. "Right," he said. "Uh, Richie, these are some of my coworkers, the ones I told you about- this is Bill, Mike, Beverly, Stanley, and Ben." Richie eagerly shook each of their hands, greeting them with a genuine-sounding, Pleasure to meet 'ya!
Eddie hesitated for a few moments after Richie let go of Ben's hand, as though he was trying to figure out what to say next, but was having trouble. Bill found this rather odd, as at work Eddie never seemed to have a problem with speaking in their meetings, but Bill was still trying to process the fact that Richie Tozier was standing in front of him and just shook his hand, that he didn't spend too much time pondering over Eddie's behaviour.
Finally, after taking another sip of his third-choice wine, Eddie spoke up again. "Guys, I'd like you to meet Richie- my husband."

I just read one of ur fic's on ao3 thank u for keeping reddie alive in 2022 🥺
Alsoooooo not sure what type of prompts you want but I'll just throw this out there... something to do with diners. Diners are so kitschy and grungy and I think the vibes are soooo Derry. I love the idea of one of them working at a diner and the other always coming in to order something and bother them. Or maybe going to the diner at 2 am and splitting a shake together is like their secret thing.
Keep doing what you do!!! ❤️
first of all, this made my day you are so sweet tysm! i've thought about writing this before and i absolutely adore the idea so i hope this does it justice! and bc i couldn't decide, i give you both in the same fic bc i said so.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As soon as Eddie turned 16, he got a job at the diner down the street from his house. He works there pretty much after school every day and all weekend long. Richie complains about it, saying he misses when they used to just read comics in the clubhouse hammock. They have the same argument every single day. Or, not so much an argument. Conversation.
It isn't a real complaint on Richie's part anymore. He's fixed the problem by coming in to the diner every single fucking day. It makes it really hard to focus and his boss has yelled at him multiple times for just talking to Richie when he's supposed to be working.
Richie doesn't stop, though. No matter how many times Eddie tells him to or how many times he kicks him out on the days he really can't focus when Richie is around. Sometimes he just ends up staring at him like some lovesick teenager. Which he kind of is, but he goes to great lengths to not be that kind of in love.
It's the same today, the bell on the door jingling when Richie walks through the door, all smile and blue eyes, making Eddie shake his head.
"Hey, sweetheart." Richie says in the same stupid voice he uses every time he greets him here as he slides into his seat at one of the bar stools.
"What do you want, Rich?" Eddie says, a smile now on his face as he tries his best to act annoyed.
"Just you. You look so cute in that uniform." Richie says.
"Shut up." Eddie says, flicking him with his pen. "It's literally just a shirt. Now either get the fuck out of here or let me work."
"You know I can't do either of those things, Eddie, my love." Richie says, the obnoxious grin never leaving his face.
"You are such an asshole!" Eddie laughs. "Can't you just go hang out with Stan or something instead of bothering me?"
"I could but why would I when I get to hang out with you and see how pretty you are?" Richie says.
"Just-be quiet. Let me work. I will hang out with you after, I promise." Eddie says and he really wants to kiss him but he can't.
"But I want to see you now." Richie argues.
"Stop acting like a child. You should get a job too, you know." Eddie says, starting to actually work while he talks to him, making Richie frown. His efforts never work for long.
"Nah. I'd rather just bother you at yours." Richie says, resting his head in his hand. "I'll shut up, though. You just work and look pretty. I'm content where I am."
Eddie only shakes his head but he doesn't argue.
The strange part of all of this is is that as much as Eddie does his best to force Richie to act like he's just his friend, to leave him alone at work, they still go there every single night. Bev works the night shift and she would never care even if she didn't know them. So every weekend night, Richie sneaks in through his window and they walk down the street to the diner.
"Richie, for the love of God, you're going to wake my mom!" Eddie laughs as he lets Richie pull him out of the window.
"You're the one who won't shut up!" Richie argues and Eddie rolls his eyes as he jumps to the ground.
"Come on, dumbass." Eddie says, lacing their fingers together and pulling him down the road.
"You think Bev will give us a free milkshake?" Richie asks.
"You know she won't." Eddie says. "She never does."
Richie only laughs in response as Eddie pushes open the door of the diner. Bev sits on the counter, legs crossed as she flips through some paper. She looks up when she hears them, a smile on her face.
"Hey, lover boys. The usual?" She asks.
"Yep." Richie says, hopping into his seat and pulling Eddie along.
"I'm sorry he's such a bother, Bev." Eddie says as Richie slaps him lightly. "He never leaves me alone at work either."
"He doesn't leave me alone period." Bev says, placing a milkshake between them.
"Hey!" Richie says defensively. "I do too!"
"Richie, I love you, but you really don't." Eddie says, placing a kiss on his cheek.
"Did you hear that? He loves me." Richie says, entirely changing the subject.
"That's painfully obvious." Bev says. "I'm going to leave you to it. I have more work I have to do than I have time to talk to you."
"So rude, Marsh." Richie says, shaking his head.
"Bye, Bev." Eddie says, elbowing Richie.
Bev chuckles and walks off into the kitchen, leaving the two boys alone.
"I really do love you." Eddie says, taking Richie's hand with one hand and taking a sip of the milkshake.
"I'll have to tell your mom I've found someone better." Richie says with a soft smile.
It makes Eddie laugh but not for the reasons Richie wants him to. It's so wildly ironic. His mom would fucking disown him if she knew where he was and yet Richie can make jokes about it so easily. It makes him feel light. And free.
"Say you love me too." Eddie says, tilting his head up in defiance.
"I love you too, Eddie. I love you so much." Richie says and before he can say another word, he pulls him into a kiss.

A story about a 'kook,' who keeps calling the police about supernatural elements that he swears are real, and eventually one of the cops gives him his own number so this weirdo doesn't keep waisting their dispatch.
Two things heppen. The cop starts growing fond of the kook, and he also sees this supernatural thing firsthand.

one day i'm going to finish writing my two reddie wips but today is not that day. but have this snippet. can be used as a prompt if anyone gets inspired 😏 (not me trying to trick someone into writing my fic) but of course credit etc.
Richie is made of triangles and rectangles, like math gone so wrong it went back to right again. Like his body parts were made in different factories, boxed, shipped separate and scotch taped together by an untalented and uncreative hand.  He moves languidly, nonetheless, like he’s gotten used to body parts that move without him or loom where they shouldn’t. He’s not very conscious of his presence, Eddie doesn’t think, but he sure does impose one.  “Do you realized you have the tendency to hover?” “No, but I’m guessing you did.” “And you slouch.” “You try holding this head up! It’s like balancing a basketball on a bendy straw.” “You’re always moving.” “No arguments there. I’m a jittery guy. And I’m either no sleep with liters of coffee, or fully rested and ready to fight some suburban mom who will and probably already has called the manager on me.” “You don’t work retail.” “What the hell did you think I did before comedy? The things I’ve seen, I wouldn’t wish it on like, Hitler. Or no, maybe especially him. So are you done roasting me…” “I’m not roasting you, or whatever, I’m just mentioning your habits. Roasting you? I don’t even know what that means.” “Funny, because you're great at it.”
