hi! do you know any fics where dramione are getting caught by the daily prophet or witch weekly??? like the right thing to do (I think it had something like that it’s been a long time since I’ve read it)
Breath Mints / Battle Scars - Onyx_and_Elm - E, 51 chapters - For a moment, she's almost giddy. Because Draco Malfoy's been ruined by this war and he's as out of place as she is and — yes, he has scars too. He's got an even bigger one. She wonders whether one day they'll compare sizes.
Hunted By: Bex-chan - M, 36 chapters, Words: 191,497 - Forced to work together when their old schoolmates start dying, Hermione & Draco must overcome their differences to solve the mysterious deaths. The tension in the office is getting rather…heated. Mature themes. 4years PostHogwarts/War. EWE. DMHG.
Midday Lovers By: GrandeVanillaSkimLatte - M, 15 chapers, Words: 27,413 - They just can’t seem to keep their hands to themselves and this gets them in all sorts of trouble. But what happens when their secret is nearly exposed? DracoHermione.
The Interview by floorcoaster - T, one-shot - Draco Malfoy has declined the offer of Witch Weekly's Most Eligible Bachelor Award, and Daphne is determined to find out why.
Expose! by cleotheo - T, 12 chapters - While working, Ron Weasley stumbles upon a supposed sordid secret that his wife, Lavender, uses to promote her career as a journalist with The Daily Prophet. But have the couple gotten the true story, and just what will be the consequences of Lavender’s expose? Short, reunion style story.
The Reunion - shewritesall - G, one-shot - Draco and Hermione attend a ten year Hogwarts reunion after both creating very public lives. However, it’s a bit of a shock to everyone when it turns out the two are more connected than whatever rubbish Rita Skeeter likes to print.

Learning that fans hated Applejack and called her "boring" is crazyyy to me because I genuinely, unironically believe AJ's the most complex character in the main six.
Backstory-wise, she was born into a family of famers/blue collar workers who helped found the town she lives in. She grew up a habitual liar until she had the bad habit traumatized outta her. She lost both her parents and was orphaned at a young age, having to step up as her baby sister's mother figure. She's the only person in the main gang who's experienced this level of loss and grief (A Royal Problem reveals that AJ dreams about memories of being held by her parents as a baby). She moved to Manhattan to live with her wealthy family members, only to realize she'll never fit in or be accepted, even amongst her own family. The earlier seasons imply she and her family had money problems too (In The Ticket Master, AJ wants to go to the gala to earn money to buy new farm equipment and afford hip surgery for her grandma).
Personality-wise, she's a total people-pleaser/steamroller (with an occasional savior complex) who places her self worth on her independence and usefulness for other people, causing her to become a complete workaholic. In Applebuck Season, AJ stops taking care of herself because of her obsessive responsibilities for others and becomes completely dysfunctional. In Apple Family Reunion, AJ has a tearful breakdown because in she thinks she dishonored her family and tarnished her reputation as a potential leader –– an expectation and anxiety that's directly tied to her deceased parents, as shown in the episode's ending scene. In The Last Roundup, AJ abandons her family and friends out of shame because believes she failed them by not earning 1st place in a rodeo competition. She completely spirals emotionally when she isn't able to fulfill her duties toward others. Her need to be the best manifests in intense pride and competitiveness when others challenge her. And when her pride's broken, she cowers and physically hides herself.
Moreover, it's strongly implied that AJ has a deep-seated anger. The comics explore her ranting outbursts more. EQG also obviously has AJ yelling at and insulting Rarity in a jealous fit just to hurt her feelings (with a line that I could write a whole dissection on). And I'm certain I read in a post somewhere that in a Gameloft event, AJ's negative traits are listed as anger.
Subtextually, a lot of these flaws and anxieties can be (retroactively) linked to her parents' death, forcing her to grow up too quickly to become the adult/caregiver of the family (especially after her big brother becomes semiverbal). Notice how throughout the series, she's constantly acting as the "mom friend" of the group (despite everything, she manages to be the most emotionally mature of the bunch). Notice how AJ'll switch to a quieter, calmer tone when her friends are panicking and use soothing prompts and questions to talk them through their emotions/problems; something she'd definitely pick up while raising a child. Same with her stoicism and reluctance at crying or releasing emotions (something Pinkie explicitly points out). She also had a childhood relationship with Rara (which, if you were to give a queer reading, could easy be interpreted as her first 'aha' crush), who eventually left her life. (Interestingly enough, AJ also has an angry outburst with Rara for the same exact reasons as with EQG Rarity; jealous, upset that someone else is using and changing her). It's not hard to imagine an AJ with separation anxiety stemming from her mother and childhood friend/crush leaving. I'm also not above reading into AJ's relationship with her little sister (Y'all ever think about how AB never got to know her parents, even though she shares her father's colors and her mother's curly hair?).
AJ's stubbornness is a symptom of growing up too quickly as well. Who else to play with your baby sister when your brother goes nonverbal (not to discount Big Mac's role in raising AB)? Who else to wake up in the middle of the night to care for your crying baby sister when your grandma needs her rest? When you need to be 100% all the time for your family, you tend to become hard-stuck with a sense of moral superiority. You know what's best because you have to be your best because if you're aren't your best, then everything'll inevitably fall apart and it'll be your fault. And if you don't know what's best –– if you've been wrong the whole time –– that means you haven't been your best, which means you've failed the people who rely on you, which means you can't fulfill your role in the family/society, which makes you worthless . We've seen time and time again how this compulsive need to be right for the sake of others becomes self-destructive (Apple Family Reunion, Sound of Silence, all competitions against RD). We've seen in The Last Roundup how, when no longer at her best, AJ would rather remove herself from her community than confront them because she no longer feels of use to them.
But I guess it is kinda weird that AJ has "masculine" traits and isn't interested in men at all. It's totally justified that an aggressively straight, misogynistic male fandom would characterize her as a "boring background character." /s
At the time of writing this, it's 4:46AM.

Prompt 198
Now Bruce was not expecting to reincarnate upon his death. At least he thinks he died, he’s pretty sure he did. There wasn’t any other reason for him to be a well, literal baby. Around two he thinks, which fits well with the fact that it’s around that time that babies start forming memory recall, if he, well, remembered correctly.
But while he knew about reincarnation thanks to Shayera and Carter, he’d never exactly given it much thought towards himself. Because seriously, what were the chances of such a thing as him being given another chance?
So he was quite surprised at his situation, experimentally opening and closing pudgy hands that looked well, just a tiny bit off. He’d never been that pale before, he thinks, even back when he never went outside like, ever.
He turned his gaze towards the mobile above him with a sort of idle curiosity- a mixture of bats (ha) and other trinkets he wasn’t familiar with. It also caused him to get his first good look at his parent, asleep on a rocking chair right next to the crib.
Huh. They had the same pale skin he did, albeit in the light it looked like it was slightly tinted blue, and while their hair was white they didn’t exactly look old. They looked surprisingly well rested for raising a toddler too, unless they had a nanny or something similar… He rolled over, managing to very shakily push himself to his feet with the help of the crib.
Why was standing so hard as a toddler? And why did he have his memories of everything except how he had died anyway?
His head whipped up from where they were staring at his feet when he heard a snort, finding his parent awake and standing. Somehow silently enough that he hadn’t noticed- or he was that easily distracted by the unfamiliar giddiness bursting in his chest.
“Morning little bat,” his parent easily picked him up and held him while he inwardly sighed at the nickname. Of course his bat motif would follow him into this life. A low rumbling almost caused him to jump, his body relaxing before he could fully register the sound. The… purring?
Oh.
He wasn’t human this time around.

Hi! Looking for a fic where Hermione and Draco are secretly dating? are Soul Mates? I just remember this one scene where all Hermione gathers all her friends to tell them but has them take a vow first because the truth of their relationship could be dangerous. Neville already knows or suspects and everyone takes it well except for Harry because they are pureblood and understand the implications? I hope you had a lovely break. Thanks
Anyone?
(The break was great, thanks for asking :D)

I love how a well-written romance is so often structured as a mystery. A person starts with a certain idea about another person, and over the course of the story, they uncover more evidence that gives them a fuller picture of who the other person truly is. They learn about layers to the personality and backstory that give the other person more depth. They learn how the other person's personality meshes with theirs. Even the third-act misunderstanding fits the mystery structure--it looks like they've uncovered the final secret to the other person's identity, which is that they're not the worthy person they seemed to be, but then discover that they misinterpreted that evidence, or the other person takes steps to apologize and repair the level of trust. When the mystery is resolved, they've reached a full understanding of each other and know they've found a partner they can trust their whole future to.

“…so we decided to live out our secret fantasy of doing it in the Gotham Museum of Antiquities.”
“What-?” Clark groggily sat up at the sound of Bruce’s voice, rubbing the sleepiness from his eyes behind his glasses. He was shocked into full alertness by the sight of a crowd surrounding him, flashes of cameras going off.
Bruce, almost naked with only half a blanket wrapped around his waist like a towel, stood nearby. Clark, realizing his own nudity, hastily tugged the blankets tighter around himself, almost pulling the entire blanket off Bruce.
Bruce tightened his hold on his half of the blanket and grinned at Clark, but the murderous look in his eyes told a different story. “Good morning, sunshine! Here I thought you’d be sleeping like the dead for the entire morning,” Bruce said, bending down to plant a kiss on Clark’s cheek. “We’re going to have a talk about this later,” Bruce growled and stood up to face the crowd.
As Bruce continued his interview with the scandalized crowd and press around them, Clark tried his best to recall the night before. He remembered going to bed with Bruce at Wayne Manor. Did he fly during his sleep again? The last time he did that, he had woken up on top of the Great Pyramid of Giza. He realized that this time, he must have been unfortunate enough to bring Bruce along with him on his nightly travels.
“Anyway, I don’t understand why you lot are complaining when you’re paying to see the naked statue man behind me, but you get the extra benefit of seeing 2 real-life naked Adonises for free! I could be charging you to see his giant snake too! I call BS!” Bruce cried, crossing his arms. Clark quickly scrambled to stop the blanket from completely sliding off Bruce’s hips before he could get an additional charge for public indecency.
“Sacrilege!” Someone cried out.
“Brucie, are you in a relationship?” a reporter asked.
Bruce plopped down on Clark’s lap and wrapped his arms around him. “Yes! Isn’t he cute?”
And that’s how Bruce and Clark’s half-nude photos ended up plastered on the front page of various newspapers, accidentally revealing their relationship to the world.
