robot!chris is your favourite thing to have around when you’re on your period
TW — period talk, tampons, very intimate
Tumblr media
his head lay on top of your bare skin, hand rubbing over your lower stomach. being a robot meant that he was constantly warm due to all the energy surging through him. and although that meant you’d had to deal with him overheating often, it also made for a great cramp reliever.
he hummed lowly, staring at the little freckles on your tummy, drawing constellations in his mind. you lay propped on a few pillows, tv remote in hand as you scrolled mindlessly through the boring film selection on Netflix before pausing with a huff.
“you think it’s weird… that I think this is nice?” you voice was quiet, eyes roaming over his messy head of brown curls.
“I did pull a stuck tampon out of you ten minutes ago, I can’t say for certain but compared to that, this isn’t weird at all.”
you nodded, lips pursing while your mind leapt back to the moment before.
“chris—ow! could you be any less gentle?” you hissed, holding his shoulders for support. you had to admit, he looked good between your legs like that. but it was not the time for those kind of thoughts.
he gripped your thigh, trying to get you to stand still. “wait, I think I feel the string…”
you switched off the tv. “don’t you care that I’m on my period? you were pretty far up there.” a blush formed on your face, embarrassed that you’d even ended up in that situation.
he shook his head, the end of his hair tickling you. “how else was I going to get it out of you? it’s nothing a good hand wash can’t clean.”
what would you do without your robot boy. sure he was a piece of work. literally. but when he was working, he was flawless. the more you thought about it, the less awkward it was. why would he care? he’d go above and beyond if you asked him to.
because he didn’t see it the way you did. the way anyone else would. he just wanted to be of use to you. no matter the task.
you raked your fingers through his hair, massaging to spot behind his ear where his sensor triggered. where he liked it the most. his rhythmic breaths became slower, head nuzzling further up, just under your tits.
the two of your lay there, in the dim lit bedroom. for the first time in a while, you took a deep breath and stayed there. in silence. a comfy one.

Mission mode change detected, now in Monument Mode Goodnight friends. After exchanging our final bits of data,
I will hold vigil on this spot in Mare Crisium to watch humanity's continued journey to the stars.
Here, I will outlast your mightiest rivers, your tallest mountains, and perhaps even your species as we know it.
But it is remarkable that a species might be outlasted by its own ingenuity.
Here lies Blue Ghost, a testament to the team who, with the loving support of their families and friends, built and operated this machine and its payloads,
to push the capabilities and knowledge of humanity one small step further.
Per aspera ad astra!
Love, Blue Ghost

Chris Sanders characters who were built to be mindless machines (of destruction, in Stitch's case), but grow a compassionate heart thanks to bonding and develop a strong link to ducklings and goslings, my beloved!

I’ve only seen it once so forgive me for not saying more—
—but my favorite sequence is by far the part where ROZ is watching Brightbill finally take flight, and she looks up to try and see him as he gets farther away, but then her view of Brightbill is blocked by the pop-up screen saying “Task Complete.”
And she has to rush after him to get her final look, because of that. Because the Task was getting in the way of her seeing him.

I never wanted a human and a robot to be a couple as badly until I saw them!

So glad they are a couple, I love Herman and Keats so much! Their silly little relationship is so wholesome that I was so happy to hear the love confession!!

I cant stress this enough after reading the summaries for the Lilo and stitch remake I feel so so lucky how the original was made.
Not many know this, but disney executives didnt even really know what was going on with the production of the original film because it was made in the now non-existent flordia studio.
The remake shows what the original would have been like if they had known.
Disney isnt like this "now" they always have been like this.
Anyways watch the wild robot. Chris Sanders is a genius and Disney 100% did not deserve him.

Hey there! I read both Reprogrammed and Decoded and was blown away. Unfortunately (sorta), my odd little brain had one little question that was burning from the end of Reprogrammed till the end of the story: what about the Wild Kratts Kids? How did they react to Chris's disappearance/return? I know if I were 8 and my teacher (i guess thats an okay metaphor? maybe?) randomly disappeared for 3 months and came back 10 pounds lighter with dozens of new scars and white hair in their early twenties, I'd be a little torn up/curious. How would Chris feel about showing up on screen in front of a bunch of kids in his state? Would he...wear a...hat...or something...? I don't know, just thoughts lol
They never told the public that Chris was missing (Didn't wanna scare the kids or give the Villains the knowledge that they were vulnerable)
And being out in the most rural parts of the world, it's not uncommon for them to go months without any sort of public appearance. For now, Martin is handling any sort of press alone until Chris is ready to be back in the public eye.
But of course they still run into a wild kratts kid every once and a while.

In more joyful news, I received this book today, The Art of The Wild Robot, which I warmly recommend, it's beautiful.
Small blurb about Fink and Pedro Pascal below:
"Over time [Fink] lets his guard down, and it opens him up to new ways of thinking. [...] He's funny and sharp and goes through incredible growth as a character as he realizes that he needs connection with other beings, and Pedro Pascal brings so much humor and warmth to the character."
While fleshing out the character for the screenplay, writer-director Chris Sanders wanted the character to come across as self-serving and edgy, but not "evil." It took the production team some time to find the right actor to embody the multidimensional red fox. "When Pedro finally came into the recording studio, he brought this impish, mischievous tone to the character that was completely unexpected," recalls Sanders. "It reminded us of a little kid in the back seat of a car, constantly asking 'Are we there yet? Can we stop and get some ice cream?' [...] Despite his self-serving tendencies, he really is quite charming, and Pedro was just spot-on in finding the character."
