An attempt at a rubber pride flag.

Sable, a barrulet bevilled sinister inverted Or cotticed Gules.

Based closely on the flag by Peter Tolos and Scott Moats, I’ve taken some liberty with heraldic language to try to capture the feel of that design.

A barrulet (diminutive of the bar) and other ordinaries and lines can be bevilled giving it a sharp bend. In the case of this ordinary we consider it to issue from dexter, so the normal form of the bevil turns the barrulet sharpy toward chief dexter, before it continues sinister slightly higher than it began. The resultant shape looks like a backwards Z.

I wanted a different shape, more reminiscent of the flag, so I have modified the bevil with the terms sinister (it proceeds sinister, instead of turning to dexter) inverted (turned upside down) so that instead of a sharp turn to chief dexter it exhibits a slight kink toward base sinister.

The cottices are another conventional heraldic embelishment, the thinner lines surrounding the main ordinary. There should be a third line, in truth, but I couldn’t decide how to blazon it.

Something I was curious about is that you say Hazbin and Helluva don’t follow religious or biblical accuracy, but you seem to forget that it’s not supposed too. It’s Viv’s own spin on biblical things so of course it won’t be biblically accurate.

I’m not trying to be mean or degrade you in anyway I just don’t get why you think it needs to be accurate to religion.)
