Cait; Posts gym thirst traps and videos of her working out or getting into fistfights. Can be found in the comments and DMs of women, gay or otherwise. Lots of activity in sobriety and self-help communities. Doesn’t have a lot of followers, but does fundraiser streams for a week every three months she's sober. The money goes to child abuse prevention foundations. Her most recent charity streams had her trying to get all achievements on Just Dance after someone donated 10k requesting it.

Codsworth; self-help videos for people struggling to take care of themselves. How to tidy up, how to take effective breaks, what needs to be cleaned in a house and what supplies you need...very useful, very popular with college students and teens. Once posted a video of him going at wasps with a chainsaw and gained a million subs overnight.

Curie; children's educational YouTube channel that's, somehow, more popular with young adults. Science experiments gone wrong. Think Jackass and Mythbusters hosted by a tiny French woman who approaches everything with the joy and whimsy of My Little Pony. Her most popular videos are her 100k subscriber specials, a series where she goes ghost and cryptid hunting to disprove them and demonstrate the fraudulence you can find behind such things.

Danse; has a Facebook for work purposes. It has a profile photo only because Haylen insisted. Fears the internet deeply, thinks its the closest humanity can get to staring into the void and seeing something blink. Unbeknownst to him, there's a viral video of him teaching a workout regimen to trainees. The comment sections are pure thirst. All of his coworkers know and made an oath to never speak of it.

Deacon; Is the one who snuck into training and got that video. Posted it to r/NextFuckingLevel with 🥵🥵🥵 for a caption. Owns several large meme accounts, all with distinct personalities and lives. Someone tried to dox him after suspicions, but found all accounts had different IPs and info. He's just that good. His Facebook changes profile photo every. Single. Day. He consumes an absurd amount of audio books. Drops CRAZY money on charity streams to make the host do weird shit, like 100% Just Dance. Probably sells feet pics.

Dogmeat; The internet's darling. Nick Valentine's dog who doesn't help with catching bad guys, but with far more important things; Dogmeat cuddles and plays with victims at the scene or in court. Also trained in search and rescue. Much of Dogmeat's page is just Nick sharing important information (hotlines, self-defense, survival tips, et cetera) while petting or playing with Dogmeat. Kind of a McGruff the Crime Dog vibe.

Gage; Facebook that he uses to cyberbully cop pages and Craigslist to offer his...unconventional services (pretending to be your boyfriend at family gatherings to cause drama). His pet lizard, an Argentine Tegu, has an Instagram with 3k followers. The Tegu often wins pet competitions and Gage posts the awards captioned with 🖕🏻💚🦎💚🖕🏻. Works at an amusement park, posts tell-all confessions on Reddit.

MacCready; Facebook with friends and family, posts a lot of Duncan. His YouTube history is videos for Duncan. Lots of Curie's videos. Mac has a Craigslist and LinkedIn, does odd jobs when he isn't working as a security guard at a shooting range. Activite in communities about comics, shows, and video games. Sometimes he'll post a theory about a show or comic and he's usually right. Really enjoys the meltdowns of fandoms when the media takes a nasty turn, even if he's also betrayed.

Nick; Ellie runs Dogmeat's page, Nick just does the talking. As for Nick himself, has some pages for his work (that Ellie also manages) and a Facebook profile to stay in touch with friends and family. Much like Danse, consumes media offline—except for poetry. Most of his screen time is spent on Poetry.com, one of those people that leave comments. He likes how the internet makes information and art accessible. Very peaceful and wholesome internet time.

Hancock; The void that Danse is scared of. Also does streams, but not only for fundraisers. Streams high. Streams himself trying to find his way back to his apartment late at night. Always end up in a fast food joint, trying to convince the workers to unionize. Twitter shitposter until a politician needs cyberbullying. Organizes protests. Extremely active in Massachusetts' political scene, his fans are a force to be reckoned with. Has fistfought his own fans before. Occasionally cancels himself to prove a point. Makes mock apology videos whenever another celeb/influencer fucks up.

Preston; Park ranger and community organizer. Uses Facebook and TikTok to appeal to all ages. Is unfairly good at TikTok dances. Posts safety tips, upcoming event information, etc. Does a lot of work with Dogmeat and Nick. Posts bodycam footage of him arresting people, like shutting down fire-themed gender reveal parties, or poachers. Not a lot of followers, but the bodycam footage goes viral on subreddits like r/Instant_Karma.

Piper; a journalist and blogger. Posts videos of her political rants and makeup/hair routine. Joins Hancock in politician cyberbullying. Makes commentary essays and videos, sometimes book reviews. Appears on podcasts. Her media presence is decently known, but mild. She tries to keep herself distant from it. Despite this, has a good-sized following who appreciate the lack of parasociality. Her most famous video is her trying to find the best coffee spots in Boston.

X6-88; security guard for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who got stuck running the Twitter when the last guy got arrested on weed charges. Piper keeps DMing for an interview and he keeps blocking her accounts. He has LinkedIn for work. Half of it is redacted and involves NDAs. No other media presence except for one thing; he's an infamous esports cryptid. Across a few different shooter games, a high-rank player called X6-88 (its just his first initial and the numbers on his security badge) fucking curbstomps everyone in the match. He has never died or missed a shot. Never speaks in chat, never in team chat. He's a legend among gamers. For him, he's just relaxing on a Friday night, keeping his senses sharp. Doesn't realize there are compilation videos of streamers raging at him.

A/N: omfg school senior yaomomo (private school bc her parents are loaded). Just. Here:

You’re 15, she’s 17. You’ve seen her around school a lot. And not interacted with her nearly enough. ‘Til this year, that is.

Now she’s your house prefect. You purposefully fuck up your uniform so you get called out by her. You pretend you don’t know how to wear your tie so she’ll do it for you. She’s always so fucking nice about it. Your uniform is almost always wrong. She never questions it. You don’t know how she does it. Just tells you off really nicely sometimes. It’s fucking frustrating.

You run into her at the library once, and again, and again: you find out that she spends a lot of time at the library. You go there to read, she goes there to study. You find stupid reasons to talk to her. Like the time you told her that you’re thinking of taking chemistry and you want to know what to expect. (You don’t even like chemistry. And you don’t have plans to take chemistry— Ever.) She always stops what she’s doing and gives you her full attention. She never brings up the uniform mishaps. Ever. You don’t understand her.

You make her laugh sometimes and it makes your entire day every single time. The sound of her laughter becomes the background music in your head for days afterward. You show her crappy science memes that you looked up just to so you could show them to her and she says she loves them. (ohmygod she loves them! 🥺🥰💖✨)

It does cross your mind that she just puts up with you but you're just happy for the time you do get to spend with her.

Once, you forget to finish your lunch because- she walks into the hall after you sit down to eat and ties her long, black hair up before sitting down a couple tables in front of you and you’re so mesmerized by her that you literally forget where you are.

During the local sports meet — you managed to get yourself recruited by the track team early this year (A/N: just taking a moment here to say: F.) and after a gruelling month and a half of practice, your team loses; you’re a sore loser, that’s why you didn’t want to commit to this in the first place ffs— she finds you crying on the bleachers. You don’t notice her at first but then she leans closer and puts a hand on your shoulder. She asks what happened and you just shake your head because it’s so embarrassing; the thought of telling her why you’re crying makes you want to spontaeneously combust. (oh look!- on the bright side, you did learn one (1) thing about chemistry from listening to her talk) She sits with you till you stop crying and gives you a hug and you swear it’s The Best thing that’s ever happened to you, prior events of the day be damned.

One time you notice that she’s got a rainbow pin on her bag and you think about that for the next two weeks. Does that mean she’s into girls? But hasn’t she been rumoured to be in a relationship with that guy with the hair for the past three years? What does it all mean.

On Valentine’s day, you write her a card (addressed to her, by name) with a poem in it (you considered writing something by Sappho but decided that was too forward, instead you put a small piece of paper with a sketch you did of Sappho that you thought didn't bear all that much likeness to Sappho and wrote “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?” in some fancy writing on the back of it) and leave it in the space under her desk. You will never know where you got the courage.

You completely forget about it a few weeks later, when, after you bother her at the library again for something stupid and she’s getting up to leave, the card and the little paper with the sketch fall out of one of her notebooks. Your heart jumps to your throat. She puts it away so fast, you wonder if you imagined it, but the soft pink on her cheeks that wasn’t there before and the slight rasp in her voice when she says “bye” tells you more than you needed to know.

You start to stare off into space more often. And you start wearing rainbows and rainbow coloured things. And every waking minute of your life, you wonder if there’s a possibility she’s looking for the person who left her that card. You belatedly regret not signing your name.

You figure you should talk to someone. But you don’t really have a someone to tell this kind of thing to. You have friends but they don’t know you, not really. And you doubt they’d understand any of this. How would you even begin to tell them about this?

You’ve avoided her and you’ve tried to pretend this hasn’t affected you for weeks. You even wore your uniform nearly perfectly every day for two weeks so you wouldn’t have to get called out on it. But you reach a breaking point. And you tell Momo. You tell her you think you might be… gay. Or bi. Or some kind of queer. She says nothing for what feels like the longest minute of your life. Then, she just reaches into her bag and pulls out the card. And the sketch. And lays them on the desk between the two of you. Then she looks at you and she says, quietly, “Me too.”

You don’t say a word. You don’t even blink. You don't dare to even move a muscle for fear of reacting wrong and ruining everything.

You realise you waited a moment too long, when you catch a look of defeat in her eyes as she reaches to pick up the paper and the card, probably to put them back inside her notebook and then forget about it and never bring it up again-

You don’t know what comes over you in that moment, but you hear your mouth say, “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?”

Her eyes shoot up to look at yours. Then her face relaxes minutely in understanding and she says, “Thou art more lovely and more temperate.”

and you swallow, hard, before nodding and saying, almost inaudibly, “…yeah.”

Then she looks at you and smiles— and you have to pause to take a breath because it’s definitely brighter than any and all of your possible futures holy shit.

You reach out tentatively to touch(? hold?) her hand. To your relief, she doesn’t pull away. She just says, “It took a while for me to realise that was sappho. But the sonnet helped connect some dots.” Your brain doesn’t give you enough time to process that she just called your sketch shit. But— fair enough, you're not an artist.

And then she asks, “How long?” and you tell her, having the decency to look sheepish, “Two years. Give or take.”

She mindlessly rubs small circles into your palm with her thumb and says, grinning slightly, “Two months. It was easy enough to figure out that you didn’t give two shits about Chemistry.”

I'm somewhere on the aromantic spectrum; happily single for over a decade. A little over a year ago I was on a deserted beach on the Atlantic ocean and found a wedding ring that perfectly fits my ring finger, so I consider myself married to the sea.

Current obsessions?

In addition to the obvious BL/GL/Queer media obsession I have going on, I sometimes throw on live dives of ocean exploration when they have them (fave is Schmidt Ocean Institute, they have a YouTube channel here). The scientists live stream and offer commentary, and it's such a cool way of seeing parts of the world never before seen while learning something about both our world and how they undergo the science to inform what we know about it. And the camera quality has gotten incredible. My favourite thing I've seen is baby octopuses born live on camera at ~9k feet below the surface! It's a little addicting even though there are hours of nothing between the cool moments.

Last thing you googled?

Whether there's a difference between mayak eggs [Korean] and ajitama eggs [Japanese] (slightly different recipes but very similar in essentials).

"What if Kaoru & Haruhi kissed?" — meme is linked but for SCIENCE... i might send a few....

Kaoru holds up his hands in mock surrender as he's questioned, any onlooking eyes on the edges of their seats. It's another Host Club day, another ridiculous theme to conform to. Around Valentine's day, a kissing booth is situated in Music Room #3, that no one but their resident commoner batted an eye to.

Any girl could request any host for a harmless 1 second cheek or hand kiss, in case any authority caught wind and thought it was more debauchery than tomfoolery.

Surprisingly, Kaoru hadn't been requested yet, not that he was complaining. In fact, he was absolutely relieved in a way he can't explain. Something about all those strange girls getting way too close to his face... he was mainly here for Hikaru and Tamaki, after all.

... but when Haruhi asked, even with his knowledge of her being a girl, she didn't set off the same bells... although Haruhi didn't have a habit of looking too feminine, in his experience.

There's reasons though, that the twins were the first to know, and all of them had to do with when Haruhi requested him. Kaoru, sitting by himself and reading a textbook. He was not enthused about this event, and she was only the first to witness it as the boys have the year prior. It was simply her turn to find out.

And he was okay with this method, because at least it meant he got closure... on what he hoped Haruhi would be, not that he would ever impose that on her, but the booth was getting closer and his thoughts were narrowing until they were sitting separated only by the shitty cardboard stand.

He feels that legendary lightbulb in his head go off the same way that it did the day they met. Their lips meet, and the kiss is soft and definitely not what the club agreed on, but the shocked and pleased screams of the girls in the background spoke louder than the words in his mind. He presses in, lets it last well past the 1 second mark and even holds her face for delicate measure. Kaoru is still a gentleman, even so.

He still gets it when their kiss ends, and she would possibly never know what Kaoru could've learned from that. He presses her hair down and grins, pleased.

His cheeks redden, Kaoru slightly preening himself to keep up with the bashful persona. A large part of him is truly taken aback though, at a loss with that dopey little smile on his face.

🌹 ROSE - do they like valentines day? have they been confessed to before? have they confessed to anyone before?

-> HMMMM. i think she likes it as a Concept (especially since themes of love does always find itself to be a core concept of a lot of tales) but doesn't like to be involved in the holiday herself. ever the observer and never the one participating! B)

AS FOR THE OTHER QUESTIONS I HAVEN'T THOUGHT ABOUT THAT IN SPECIFICS but i think she's had a few relationships in the past. i feel they didn't really end up well no matter who confessed. if asked she'll spin up a story about how the other person had an incredibly surface level red flag that she just Tooootally couldnt deal with but it actually always leads back to the inevitable estrangement

💐 BOUQUET - create a bouquet for them! what do those flowers mean? are any of the flowers their particular favourite?

-> i actually do not know how nice this bouquet would look in practice so don't think about it too hard BUT thinking dahlias (dignity), and queen of the night tulips ("eternity in small moments"). she would like both of them as well.

🍧 SHAVED ICE - do they still have any objects from their childhood? what significance does it have to them? what would their reaction be if they lost it?

-> she does not! anything that she could have brought has been left behind whether it was because the object is simply unusable now or would have been too much of a hassle to carry along. it leaves her a bit sad of course (not that she'd ever ever say it LOL) but she places more stock in the memories she has and can share rather than still owning the material itself

📚 BOOKS - how were they at school? what is their best subject? what is their worst subject? do they have a favourite subject?

-> NOT GOOD! the type to think 'if i don't get this right The First Time then eh i might as well never try again ^_^' which doesn't translate very well academically oooops. her best subjects would be writing of course but i think i can see her being interested in some history or natural sciences. doesn't really care for much else.

"Mm I got the cornstarch," Ash came into the kitchen with a few unusually additional ingredients, nose down to the paper recipe his mother had mailed over to them and they wanted to give it a shot. He handed the paper over to Charlie with a shrug, best give it to the chef before he tries to analyse it like a science experience, "I'll follow your lead, my mom's cookie recipe is in your hands."

💐 - To give my muse some flowers 🍜 - For our muses to go out for a dinner date together. 💋 - To give my muse a kiss.

Gigi made sure to give her gift to Draculaura her gift before the day was over and apologize in advance of not being able to attend her birthday party tomorrow. She had met Atem after Mad Science class, while carefully taking out any eyeballs that got stuck in their hair after that throw fight, and he had said he had something special for their very first Valentine's Day. Despite the reason behind the meaning of the day, the pink genie was always curious of those couples spent the signature day of love.

Well, she was about to find out.

The first thing she received in the morning was a bouquet of rare and exotic flowers. From memory, Gigi could recognize the flowers by meaning thanks to her botany studies with Whisp. Jasmine flowers, white lotuses and interesting with an Immortelle in the center.

Later on, Gigi was escorted to the newest restaurant in town with her prince waiting for her dressed up so nicely. She couldn't believe how exclusive it was... it made her a bit nervous how Atem went so much out for her. It was like the vacation with his family, and she wasn't allowed to pay for anything. She never said anything then because she wanted to show her gratitude and respect.

During their evening walk, Gigi eventually confessed to the feeling of being doted on so much and how it made her feel strange and a bit uncomfortable. She wasn't used to be waited on or given so many gifts. She didn't need them, but appreciated because Atem was thinking of her at all.

       ❝ I don't need gifts to know you care for me, Atem. Just being with you and to know you care says so much. I don't care if you are a king, monster or human. I love you just the way you are. ❞

She worried he would be upset... but he only smiled at her and returned her feelings just as much. They decided to end the night on tallest hill in town and stare at the stars. They also could see the party at Monster High from way above. She turned to her prince just in time for him to gently caress her face before bringing her into a small yet loving kiss. The couple spent the rest of the date in each other's arms.

Valentine's day... was a loving holiday indeed.
