Any advice on taking screenshots and making them look pretty? Yours are the BEST on this app

omg T-T this is so lovely and I WISH this were the case hehe - every day I log on and I'm blown away & intimidated in equal parts by the screenshots & edits I see here. I actually sometimes wanna cry over it lmao. I don't really do much to mine tbh, I use reshade to get that yellow tint & soft blur. It's a preset, I think it's Tofu by Ellcrze but I could be wrong, and I've just tweaked a few things to suit me.

Aside from that I just try to be aware of keeping the backgrounds interesting & composing the shot nicely. Rule of thirds etc. Lately I've been playing with the position of characters in the screen a bit more than I used to, like, zooming in further, focussing on things like hands, looking at the scene through the leaves of a plant, all that kinda stuff. I'm still learning what works best for me and my content but it's really fun!

Do you have any good resources/references/advice for drawing (late republican) Roman clothing? I want to draw a couple of historical figures but thinking about drawing a toga makes me feel like 😖😖😖...

-build a screenshot reference library from movies and shows that have costume designs you like, that kind of thing. grab a blanket and wrap yourself up in it toga style and take a photo if you need a specific angle. etc. museums usually have a lot of their galleries online, and places like the met often shoot statues from multiple sides.

Orange: My secret is finding a bunch of people that are in the same situation that you are in and then getting together and dealing with it together. I think there’s a lot of times when we feel that we’re isolated and alone but if you really look around and ask around, there are people that feel the same way that you do. You can all band together and become friends. The Conglomeration is all about that. tips on drawing mikes curls? they always give me pain lol

first of all, i want you to know that i saw this and thought you were asking for "tips on drawing milk":

second of all, i feel honored that you felt like i was qualified to give you art advice! just remember that this is all my personal preference and not a tutorial.

for me, when i draw mikes hair, i usually just focus on the overall silhouette/shape of it rather than the individual curls. his haircut is usually tighter on the sides and fluffy on the top, so i try to keep the sides pretty simple and put the detail on top/in the middle.

heres another example that includes the little front curl that he gets sometimes that i like to include in my depictions of him:

for more detailed stuff, my main advice is to just keep your lines loose and mostly curved, with some points thrown in sparingly. the red lines in the image below are some of the shapes i was keeping in mind while i was sketching this:

I’ve been relistening to TMAGP keeping in mind the theory that the audio glitches when people lie. I’ve only gotten through the first episode so far but just from that there’s quite a few examples!

Red is where I’ve noticed the glitches. All of them (arguably excluding Lena’s?) are fairly obvious lies, even without noticing the glitches.

(Disclaimer: I have auditory processing issues, so I’ve probably missed some, and I may have noticed some that aren’t there. If anyone notices any mistakes, let me know and I’ll correct them)
