Why the moon doesn’t have a moon of its own.

The moon changes her mind. She shines less whenever she needs to but would always find her way around and shine brighter than ever - just for the earth. The moon always try’s her best. The moon tries to shine as bright as the sun every once in a while, but the moon isn’t like that, she couldn’t give much. She needs love in return. “But Sun, you have so many others..” the moon said “let me have this one, leave her for me” The sun shrug his shoulders and just looked away. Earth never looked at the moon the way she looked at the sun but the moon never blamed the sun. She wasn’t capable of the negativity of holding someone else guilty. Earth may be the most beautiful thing the moon has ever seen. Earth was born from magic and rapidly continues to create magic and the moon just couldn’t get enough. She would sometimes just stare at the earth for days wondering what would just a little taste of that magic feel like. But earth had a bad side. Earth killed magic. Earth was greedy for everything it cannot have. The earth influences the 7 billion in a bad way, but never the moon. The moon recognized but loved. The moon was capable of changing it all. The moon thought of getting a moon of her own but the moon never did. She never would want to float for anyone else. She always wished she could but she just won’t. All she could do is wait for the earth to choose her. The moon never gave life, the moon never was beautiful, she knew she’s not much but she knew that in another universe where the earth would look her way - the last piece of the puzzle would fall into place.
