Fandom is so exciting! It’s a blessing to be part of fandom and to get to simp for your faves with other people who share similar lists, especially since there are so many to pick from! 

Seeing your list of faves lengthen, shorten and develop over time is exciting, but when was the last time you really looked at your list and decided how much of it is truly based on your interest, or if you’re just a victim of the dash? 

Just how basic are you? Are you a flavor of the month type or is there a healthy amount of diversity? Are you selective? 

This game is easy. I’ll give you a bunch of fandoms, and you’ll simply tally how many you get at the end. There are some special conditions at the end, so make sure you read to the very bottom if you play!

I recommend you be familiar with at least 4 of these fandoms to play! The fandoms mentioned are BNHA, JJK, HQ, Tokyo Revengers, Blue Lock, Demon Slayer, AOT, One Piece, Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Naruto, Hunter x Hunter and a few others.

if you have periods where you go mute or cant move or respond in any way , your f/o will never get mad at you for it. they know its not something you choose to do , they know you're not ignoring them either nor will they pressure you to answer they'll let you do things at your own pace , whatever that pace may be

and out of these moments , maybe they work with you to try and figure out the best ways to communicate whether that be through communication cards , sign language , letter boards , pencil and paper , text , or more simple methods like blinking or moving a finger or some other part of your body

they want you to feel safe and unpressured with them because they love All of you , not just the parts that are "convenient" for others

im fine with other mortimer selfshippers interacting with my blog it's just that i, as stupid as this sounds, feel more entitled towards mortimer because i've formed a genuine emotional bond with him as opposed to someone who just likes him casually

and im fully aware that i don't "own" mortimer and can't stop anyone from also liking him, but i just get so... irrationally possessive of him whenever i accidentally stumble across a mortimer double or a canon ship that involves him

Fun things to do with your selfship!!

for when you want to do some fun stuff with your f/o and have no idea what.

Make yourselves on the SIMS 4! The game is free on Steam, and there's a whole modding community where you can find lots of fun (and sometimes kinky) things to play around with. :3 You can just make each other and have fun watching you interact in a domestic environment! Orrr torture the shit out of them in game. /l-h

Make moodboards! This is really fun to think about and you can spend hours looking for pics online. What objects are important to you and your F/O? What colors define you? Is there a specific aesthetic that you two fit? Etc.

If moodboards are not enough, make stimboards! Yeah! Selfship stimboards! You can look for stims here on Tumblr, or on YT if you know what you're looking for, or cool niche products on Etsy and the like. If your selfship reminds you of a starry night sky, or about a creepy storm at sea, you can find and gif those things and have fun!

Make SMAUs! SMAUs are the shit these days lmfao. Either write how you and your selfship would interact on Twitter, or silly convos you'd have over text, I can assure you these are addicting and stupidly fun to make. There are plenty of sites and apps that let you create these, depending what social media you are looking for.

Make online collages! (Thanks bae for the idea) You can use something like Picsart with their huge free sticker selection, or import your own images and just throw a bunch of things together that remind you of your F/O!

Make PicMixes! Kinda like collages but with gifs lol. Just go to picmix.com and have fun creating!

Make a playlist! You can get inspo for character-inspired playsts, POVs that align with your selfship dynamic, using YT or Spotify or whatever app you use for music.
