Mary Jane x Peter/Spidey: As basic as this ship is you’re not basic you’re just a logical realistic non-risk-talking probably will name their child Brad person and I am okay with you

Gwen Stacey x Peter/Spidey: You’re really like turning fluff into angst or a bit delusional and probably you’re favorite cinematic Spider-Man is Andrew Garfield,you’re also probably really sweet and kind

MJ(Michelle Jones)/ x Peter/Spidey :You 100% like the Tom Holland movies and don’t care about what anyone says(same) you’re favorite dynamic is ‘She was a punk x He did ballet’ and ‘Tall queen x Short king’ a lot don’t ya? Maybe I’m a bit manic at the moment after being stressed and low yesterday, but I can’t stop laughing at this idea:

So it starts back in highschool, Peter creates a voice activated sex toy for whatever reason, he gets overheard and it creates a misunderstanding that he had a secret partner during that time

It’s now several years later, Harry still hasn’t given up on this, wondering why Peter would hide a partner from him and MJ, they’re his besties!! They wouldn’t judge him

This somehow leads to Harry (and maybe MJ if we’re deciding she doesn’t know his secret identity yet) that his secret partner has to have been Spiderman, and no one knows Spidey’s age, did Spiderman groom his friend??

Peter is adamant it wasn’t Spiderman (but still isn’t saying who it was because how do you say “I created a voice activated sex toy and you heard me masturbating” with a straight face), Harry’s not sure he believes him, but continues his search, wanting to cross everyone off the list, now inspired to figure out who it was in case his friend was taken advantage of

This all somehow leads him to Sister Margaret’s School for Wayward Children, because it’s run by Weasel who’s formally known as Jack Hammer, an old rival of Peter’s (Harry used his money and Oscorp’s shady connections to find Jack), Peter also ends up there trying to stop Harry on his mission

So now it’s a ton of old high school drama bubbling up in this bar for mercenaries (at some point Deadpool shows up and doesn’t like the implications that Harry’s swinging around about Spidey)

I like to imagine that there’s as many of the people from high school as would reasonably make sense just all bringing up petty grievances from highschool and blaming all their life problems on each other and just. the whole time. there’s scary mercenaries in the background.

For “MJ wanting Peter to stop being Spider-Man” (although I hate the trope of love interests wanting their partners to quit whatever it is) I would love a version or just a fic where MJ’s issues with Peter’s Spidey persona stem from her issues with her own stardom

Where when she first gets into it she feels on top of the world and like her best self and free (if we’re using one of the canon versions of MJ that has a horrible home life) but then she realizes that it’s sucking her dry and she’s giving too much of herself to her fans and her image and she had to put her foot down and have a healthy boundary between her celebrity life and her personal life

And she sees the Spidey “persona” as Peter’s version of that; something that originally made him feel amazing and free but is actually shackling him and he needs to break free from it before it’s too late

But! their situations aren’t really the same, it’s more projection (although Peter could stand to face healthier boundaries between his hero and civilian life) and I would love to get into how being famous has to be fucking with MJ on some level even if she ultimately loves what she’s doing and once Peter sees how it’s affecting her and how her not liking the suit comes from her issues with her own career that she doesn’t know how to articulate, they both work on encouraging the other person to have healthier boundaries with themselves instead of begging them to quit their careers

And besides, it’s not like being Spider-Man is actually draining him of life

(And that’s when the venom symbiote shows up)
