Here’s a fun little thought exercise to all the toxic tumblr users who seek out accounts they disagree with (e.g. #gaylor accounts such as mine) for the sole purpose of harassing the account owner — why do you care so much about what I write on my blog? Why does it bother you so much that someone else has an opinion/belief that is different from yours — so much so that you choose to spend your precious time anonymously antagonizing people with shitty little comments and hateful direct messages?

Are you truly so arrogant as to believe that your personal opinion is the only possible way to think? Or are you just bored with your sad little life so you try to bully people (again, anonymously, like a coward) on the internet?

I've been alternating between rewatching dubbed One Piece and JJK as my background/comfort shows while I do other things. I started Solo Leveling recently, and I'm enjoying it, but WOW I didn't realize it was going to be so brutal when I started it.

Sweet/Spicy/Savoury: Bitter!

Lol, I love spicy/savory, but my favorite flavor type is bitter. Mainly for drinks, but I get made fun of for having an "old man's palette." I love to try new and interesting foods that others don't typically like.

Relationship Status: Engaged

We've been together for 11 years, and engaged for most of those. There were a lot of random reasons why we postponed, but now I don't think we will get legally married. Marriage inequality still exists for disabled people here, and if I ever can't work again, I wouldn't qualify for disability benefits due to his income. He's my golden retriever gamer boy with that bi wife energy 😅 We both have our gaming PC's in the open layout of the house, so we talk and make noises at each other while we do our own things. ❓ #QOTD What's your favorite rom-com (film or book)? ❓ 🦇 Falling through his hot neighbor's ceiling and landing directly into his bed probably wouldn't make Derek Chang hate Dylan Gallagher any less, especially with a poorly timed "It's Raining Men" joke. Though Dylan focuses all his ADHD hyper-fixation energy on getting the repair job done as quickly as possible—avoiding doing anything stupid like acting on his very inconvenient crush—Derek tries to ignore that the tattooed nerd sleeping on the couch is surprisingly witty, smart, and kind, despite the long-term grudge Derek’s been holding against him. But will squeezing all their emotional baggage plus a dog into a tiny one-bedroom apartment be a major disaster…or just prove they’re made for each other? Fall for Him combines banter, hijinks, and heart in a story of finding out what it means to fix things after your life crumbles.

💜 I was fortunate enough to read Andie Burke's debut (and this story's predecessor), Fly With Me, last year, but I didn't expect THIS. Fall For Him is so much more than an enemies-to-lovers, forced-proximity, gay rom-com continuation. There's no list of tropes that can contain the banter, hijinks, mental health rep, and heart within this story. There's so much grief, healing, and love within this story, matched by wit, banter, and fun, descriptive prose. All of it grabs and holds readers with the same beautiful intensity of an old-school rom-com. Andie Burke's writing has truly BLOSSOMED between Fly With Me and Fall For Him; a feat I'm always glad to see a year after discovering a debut author.

💜 Since I can't contain it all in a concise little paragraph, here's What I Loved: ✨ The mental health rep (including the misconception that someone is rude or antisocial or weird when really they're trying to manage a condition). ✨ Derek's outrage on Dylan's behalf, then fiercely standing up against Dylan's family. ✨ The. Bat. Man. ✨ Felicity, my quippy, hilarious, bisexual babe, and her Depraved Shenanigans. ✨ Jodi, just entirely, my demisexual, forest nymph queen. Andie Burke. Please. Please tell me the next book is Jodi & Felicity (my two emotional support gingers). PLEASE. ✨ All the home reno/construction puns. ✨ All the nerd references (the crack in Amy Pond's wall!) ✨ Every character description. Seriously. ESPECIALLY the boys describing each other pre-kiss. And after kiss. ✨ All the quippy, silly banter. ✨ Light blue scrubs. ✨ "Stupid, lovesick, radiant joy." / "Kay." ✨ The older sibling protective/fix-it mentality. ✨ Loving broken things.

💙 By now, you know miscommunication and third-act breakups are among my least favorite story elements. However, this story STARTS with miscommunication; one moment seen from different perspectives that's therefore misconstrued. After realizing that, Derek actively tries to keep that miscommunication from breaking them. He's one of the first MCs I've seen that tries to avoid a third-act breakup before it happens. I do wish we'd lingered in that moment a little longer, seen it happen differently instead of time-jumping to a week later, but it doesn't shatter the story the way third-act breakups often do. I will say I did cry at the end of this one, so the conclusion amplifies emotions in a way that works.

UMINEKO X DRAWTECTIVES: OGALVY AND MARIA, YORK AND BATTLER

I have much to say, so sorry in advance for the length!

I was rewatching some of Drawtectives before attending one of the NezumiVA Umineko streams and I thought it would be fun to cross the two over! They're both mystery "games" but with vastly different tones and settings.

The first drawings I sketched aren't even the ones finished here but I'm sure I'll get to them soon enough. The one I started lining first was Ogalvy and Maria, or specifically Piss Boy and Sakutaro! They're cuddlie~ I even had my own Piss Boy plush next to me while drawing fo reference! I think Maria just deserves good things and she'd be such good friends with Ogalvy, I had them doing drawings together. The outfit swap was also fun, though a little tricky with how cartoony Ogalvy is. Maria's clothes were a bit tricky to put on him, but I like the way it turned out! Also proud of the facial expressions, hope I got the right kind of "enthusiastic to the point where you don't even smile, you're just totally focused and excited".

York and Battler got compared to each other a while back so I thought they'd be good to draw together, and I love the idea of Battler being a goofy bi disaster. Not only that but given how him being tall is mentioned repeatedly, I wanted to bring in the energy I feel whenever I see someone taller than me. I basically just hardcore projected onto Battler is what I'm saying.

The outfit swap part was a lil tricky but still fun, since York has two key design traits: he keeps on his armband with his outfits and he can't wear sleeves. "The technology just doesn't exist". I took off the sleeves of Battler's outfit, but I still decided to swap the armband around, mainly because the part of York's arm it would go on was geometrically confusing and I didn't want to draw attention to that. The hair was also fun to swap. Battler looks like that one rando from Overwatch and I'm not sorry, but I'm not proud either. It does still look nice to me.

Hey, peeps on the YouTube stream and on the Umineko tag: you should watch Drawtectives! It's a fun and silly mystery series! There is murder in it but it's still lighthearted for the most part, it's got charming characters, and season 3 is on the horizon! You could catch up pretty easily in time for it to start and have a gay ol time!

Hey, peeps on the Drawtectives tag waiting for season 3: you should read Umineko! It's an incredibly engaging and emotional mystery series! It's got a massive cast with lots of character depth and many puzzles to solve! It's on Steam (but please don't use the new sprites they made they're so much worse than the OG sprites, switch to them), a few other places too, and I'm pretty sure there's even a Kindle Port, but I've been enjoying the readthrough by the delightful NezumiVA!

We've got a really nice community of people who've read it before and people like us who don't know what's going on there. It is a bit longer than Drawtectives I'm afraid but it may not take too long to get caught up on the playlist. Nezumi's also pretty good at warning for the more sensitive content in the Novel which is always a big help. Only thing I'd watch out for is some gorey stuff toward the end of episode 2, which isn't even visually depicted.

Felt the need to update some of my queer headcanons after the Mochi Mayhem event.

Carmine and Kieran: Both are bi. This should be obvious, player gender has no bearing on their shippy interactions.

Briar: She has very pan energy to me for some reason. Must be the color scheme.

Arven: I originally had him pinned as pan too, but after seeing his conversation with Carmine, I'm not so sure. Maybe he's not "innocent", maybe he's just genuinely not interested in romance. I'm not decided on this, hence why I'm using two flags here.

Director Cyrano and Director Clavell: "And they were roommates!" "Oh my god, they were roommates..." I get SO MANY "ex-boyfriends" vibes from these two. I like to think they dated in college, broke up, Cyrano married a nice lady and Clavell married his job as Naranja's headmaster (educating people is far more important to him than silly love affairs). I don't think the two of them are bitter about the break up (it was a mutual agreement), but Clavell finds the fact that Cyrano keeps talking to him like they're still a couple annoying.

Lacey: DEFINITELY think she's aroace. She refuses to let you call her cute, intentionally tells boys that Clay's her dad so they won't ask her out and seems aware of Crispin's crush on her but clearly doesn't reciprocate. Even if she isn't aroace, it's clear she's not interested in romance.

Drayton: Yet another case of "your gender does not affect his willingness to hit on you", but this time, it's actually acknowledged in universe.

Amarys: I picture her being trans, and I was going to make her a lesbian too, but then I discovered she's implied to have feelings for Kieran, so I removed that. She could still be bi/pan though. (I lowkey ship her with Carmine lol)

Crispin: Crispin's definitely not aromantic, since he's crushing on Lacey, but for some reason I do think he's ace. There's another headcanon about him I'll share later, but it's not an LGBTQ+ one.

Florian, Nemona and Kieran: I was already shipping the Protagonist with Nemona since before the game came out, so I was conflicted when Kieran showed up and I started to see all the subtext-bordering on-text between him and the player. But then came Mochi Mayhem and Nemona instantly hitting it off with Kieran and giving him exactly the advice he needs as a trainer, and I'm like "YES! I KNEW FLORIAN HAD TWO HANDS FOR A REASON!" so yeah, my second poly ship for a set of protags and rivals (the previous one was Brendan, May and Wally, and thinking on it again, they have kind of a similar dynamic don't they?). Also, Florian's still nonbinary in my headcanon.

Emma's powers were kind of developing at a young age. When she was 5? Haha. You think chasing a regular kid is hard enough? Try Emma who could travel through cameras like her dad. Her parents had to search for every corner of the tower that had cameras cause she couldn't have gone that far.

Mal figured using powers too much can take up Emma's energy so she just let it happen until she tires herself out

Okay so for starters he was my friend's DnD character that I kidnapped and made my best boyo, my silly rabbit, my poor little meow meow

His full name is Hernet Lysander Winz of the Fire Clan, he's a wizer (a homebrew race from my friend's DnD setting) and he's a menace to society at large. When he was a toddler his mom got arrested and sentenced to death for high treason and his father was either banished or died, he doesn't know and doesn't care. He was raised by his father's family, alongside his twin cousins, Leon and Leona.

His people are basically a xenophobic cult so Hernie grew up hating everything and everyone who isn't a wizer, until he got banished and actually saw how the world works, befriended people and even fell in love with a half elf, the race he hated the most as a kid.

See, he's a nerd, a wizard, an artificer and an inventor, he's basically what would happen if Edward Elric and Natsu Dragneel had a child together. He's scary powerful, touch starved, loyal to a fault, has a hair-trigger temper and has the fashion sense of a colorblind 12yo

Also he's very short for human standards (1,58m) but he's outrageously tall compared to other wizers, that range between 1,30 and 1,50

He's the kind of bisexual who was fully convinced he was gay until he fell in love with a girl. And then he was suffering because he thought he wasn't really bi since he was also having the hots and the feels for another friend of theirs, until he 1) found out that she was also in love with said friend and 2) was introduced to the concept of polyamory

Also wizers are extremely attuned to their native elements and his is fire, so his fire magic is way above the regular standard of power and he has the side effect of always being very warm, so his gf usually uses him as a heat pack

And his bf is the party's doctor so he's the one picking Hernet up by the scruff like a naughty kitten at 3am and putting him in bed whether he wants it or not

He's addicted to coffee, to energy drinks and to shiny new things he can poke and prod

Also he literally invented wifi in his world so there's that

And he's very, very, VERY squishable if you ask his partners
