I managed to extract Emmrich’s jacket and import it to blender (yay!) . My goal was to port it to the sims 4, but I’m failing miserably (when I import it to a sims 4 mesh it becomes flat? I give up for now).

If anyone knows how to do it, I’d happily share the model + textures with them, so we can make them available for everyone to use (as was my intention)

I can extract more models if anyone’s interested, with that condition: make them free to use for everyone.

Okay so since I'm apparently not the only doofus who didn't know this

S4S has an eyedropper function for swatch previews!

I'm using Star 3.2.1.7

Right click one of those bad boys. Instead of the palette/sliders, now you have an eyedropper. Point it at the color you want from your texture, and left click. Wait a half second for the eyedropper to switch back to the regular cursor.

Now you know! :D

🦇 Description: The medical plasma packs in the game have always annoyed me for one reason: they can only be purchased, not harvested (unless you have Cats and Dogs).

I wanted to make plasma packs available to produce by clicking on sims, so I made this mod. You can extract one plasma pack if you're feeling nice, or drain a sim of their blood.

Vampires, as well as humans, can take their own blood. They will receive a 'Vampire Blood Bag' - which can be sold for 10,000 simoleons or drunk by a human, instantly turning them.

I think the current co-front combination of Connie and Imogen is incapable of ending in anything but disaster, Connie had an idea for a Sims storyline involving a hypothetical mod for the simray/spellcasters that swaps the gender of another sim, so now Imogen has gone down a rabbithole of trying to learn to mod the sims because with the simray specifically it seems pretty easy, just override the "transform sim" interaction so it changes their gender settings instead of just their hair and race

TS4 Mod/CC Request

Curious. Idk how to make mods/cc myself, so I'm hoping someone'll maybe use this post as a prompt to make something; regardless this is something I'd like to see sometime. Rain World Creature/Character inspired skins/tattoos/3D parts for the Furry Mod/Furry CC: (Specifically) -Lantern Mouse skin/tattoo pattern -Yeek skin/tattoo pattern/tail piece -Scavenger/Elite Scavenger skins/tattoo patterns/3D heads + eartlers/3D back spines/quills (images of scavengers provided below + on my blog account) -Slugcat character inspired skins/3D pieces -Lizard skins/tattoo patterns/3D heads + tails + spines/frills (Hoping for at least BaseGame lizards, maybe DLC Exclusive lizards as a bonus) (some images provided below) -Vulture/King Vulture skin/tattoo pattern (maybe vulture mask pattern/mask accessory; if possible) -Axolotl Gills 3D pieces (hopefully can be applied to all heads, maybe I can make an accurate Rivulet! hooray!) --

Ok so the first thing I think I’m going to work on for my sims 4 autism mod is a special interest system, because I noticed that hasn’t really been much of a thing in any of the mods I’ve seen and also it seems fun to make. Basically I’m thinking autistic sims will get assigned a special interest randomly, with a chance for it to change when they age up. You’ll also be able to choose a specific one for your sim if you want. They’ll be based on skills and activities in the game, and maybe even just some certain topics. Sims will get moodlet buffs when doing things related to their special interest, and that can be from interacting with the activity, but also from using the computer to research it, talking about it with other sims, and reading about it possibly. Sims will get wants related to their special interest and may get a negative moodlet buff if they can’t engage with their special interest. I have some ideas for some special interests to make, but I definitely want suggestions if you have any. The topics for the special interests are probably going to be relatively broad, but should be able to encompass some more niche ones. The ideas for the interests I have so far:

-voidcritters (I downloaded a mod so adults can play with them because come on why is it only kids lol)

-some skill related ones like cooking, handiness, logic, painting etc. there would be kid specific versions too, so a kid might have a special interest in crafts on the craft table instead of painting since they can’t do that

-some related to the in game video games and tv channels

-types of music

-a certain genre of book maybe

-certain toys or activities

please let me know if you have any specific suggestions I really only have the voidcritter one super planned out rn. The mod is going to be mostly base game compatible but certain ones might be limited without some expansions
