How I picture the noble house of Black cousins

They all had very sharp features and aquiline noses. And curly hair but to different degrees. All (except Andy) of them had grey eyes. They had had thin lips. Fey like features

Bella: again very sharp features and high cheekbones. Jet black hair. She had big curls, and would use magic to keep them defined. She would also charm her hair to look like snakes #medusaagenda. Her eyes were between grey and black. Naturally dark lips.

Andy: I like to hc that her and Bella were twins and that’s why they look so alike not incest, so the differences in her and Bella. Her features were all a bit softer, still sharp though. Her hair was a few shades lighter, thicker and she didn’t define her curls with magic or product so it looked more wavy but she could easily have it look the same as Bella’s. In contrast to her whole family she had warm brown eyes.

Narcissa: her hair was less curly than her sisters but still black. Her eyes were on a blue/purple grey scale, but still clearly grey. When she dyed her hair blonde, she would make her features look more delicate. Not softer but simply more delicate and feminine. She also would straighten her hair when she dyed it.

Sirius: his features were about as sharp as narcissas. When he was younger he would have very small curls but they loosened as he got older. When he was in Azkaban he obviously couldn’t care for his curls so it eventually just became wavy. And when he escaped he let it stay that way to separate himself from his family. His eyes had hues of lots of other colours.

Regulus: slightly sharper features than Timothee Chalemet (he IS regulus). He also had curly hair but since he kept it short it wasn’t that noticeable. His eyes were void of all colour, perfect grey.

The Black family is just so hard to fancast because I just have such a specific imagine of them. Also the Black sisters are so underrated I will definitely be posting about them.

Opinions on some fan films

Let's start from the assumption that I love the idea of ​​fan films, because they are practically fan fiction interpreted by enthusiasts with shoestring budgets. Moving forward I would like to focus mainly on two fan films, which are in fact my favorites: Voldemort: Origins of the Heir and Sisters of House Black. I'd start with the first. I find that the story told in Voldemort: Origins of the Heir is very unbelievable, so I would never include it in my canon, but from the point of view of the costumes, the settings, the acting (especially that of the young Voldemort) and partly also I find it a real source of pride for us Italian fans (yes, I'm Italian, so forgive me for my imperfect English). Moving on to Sisters of House Black, however, I find that the story (except perhaps Cygnus' abuse of Bellatrix's memories) is quite good and also credible. The costumes are very beautiful and I really like the acting of the three girls. I admit that I have seen other fan films besides these two, but I don't remember them very well, but I liked these so much that I watched them again several times. In general, especially for those who love the characters of Voldemort and the Black sisters, I recommend them.

Regulus is the type of sibling that would make fun of the way Sirius dresses (calling him tacky and tasteless every chance he gets) and then turns around and steals the very clothes he this is “unfashionable”. He’ll walk around the house in Sirius’ band tshirts and be caught leaving the house in his leather jackets because “they look better with his outfit” than anything he owns himself. Regulus will look him up and down and without blinking say “you’re going out dressed like that” and then copy the outfit word for word a week later.

all the hidden meanings!

colors:

red is the color of sirius’ shirt, narcissa’s lips and regulus’ pocket handkerchief. red represents how they rebelled against their family (sirius ran away and was openly against their morals, narcissa lied to voldemort and basically helped defeating him w her words, regulus turned against voldemort at the last moment, dying for his cause)

narcissa and andromeda are the only ones not wearing black, and they’re the only survivors in this picture.

clothes and accessories:

andromeda is wearing a white dress that resembles a bride’s dress, because she ran away to marry ted. her and sirius’s clothes are also less restricting than regulus and narcissa’s, because unlike their younger siblings they got their freedom.

andromeda, like her cousins, is wearing silver jewelry, aside from a gold ring (her engagement ring), and with her hand she’s covering a family pendant (she chose love over her family). regulus is wearing a pin that looks like salazar’s locket.

poses and such:

andromeda isn’t looking at the camera because she was the first to “look away from her family”, and sirius is looking at her because he would soon follow in her footsteps (andy also has a hand on his shoulder to further represent her influence on him). similarly, bellatrix (who is the only one smiling) is keeping an hand on narcissa so she wouldn’t leave. narcissa has a hand clenched in a fist, covered by her left, (as a way to hide her defiance).

I feel like the Blacks are so completely and possessively in love. They go fucking insane when it comes to the love of their life. Family is one thing, they try to kill each other on the regular but don't you ever lay a hand on the person they love. Bellatrix, Narcissa, Andromeda, Regulus, Sirius. You so much as look at they're significant other wrong and they'll have a dagger to your throat in minutes.
