imagine a world where Slimecicle and Mariana are married and yes they still marital issues and everything but they have Juanaflippa and she had 2 moments where she almost never made it home due to something medically but she's there and she's their baby, their sweet daughter and Juanaflippa loves to watch her parents dance and sometimes dance with them.

yup this is what my head came up with before I passed out so here have a bit more to the Au I came up with in the late hours of 3 am!!!

Slimecicle and Mariana do jam skating (dance rollerskating) and their local rink does competitions for couples so missclickduo will do what they do best and be competitive as shit with each other and the other couples, especially one couple and that who are they? foolish and Vegetta of course! though foolish is new too it there still really good. But Juana will always say her parents are better and Leo will deny that like "NUHUH!!" yaknow silly things.

But Juana is adamant that she gets good at roller skating so Charlie and Mariana help her, even if every time Juana falls they can't help the but worry over her excessively because what if something goes wrong and she gets seriously hurt? But she's fine and everytime they go back home they watch Juanaflippa's favorite shows (bluey and sonic prime)

Charlie is a stay at home dad mostly though occasionally he coach's the local swim team and or soccer team and for Mariana? I'm not sure I haven't really decided lol

He would deny it if asked, but John’s chirps made him want to smile more often than not. He could never help himself but talk back, and maybe to a more observant eye he was obvious—taking any excuse to skate past John’s net, putting a little extra into his shots at the net every game John started in, answering questions about John during post-game media he could’ve ignored or been more careful about with his wording. That fucking goal back in 2019 that Gale, too, could never forget, because it was pure manifestation of his desire to get under John’s skin as much as John got under his.

Gale doesn’t think sex between two guys who are just teammates is supposed to feel like this. Maybe at first it did, back in the hallway. It would have been incredibly easy to write it off as blowing off tension and frustration from the season, the bittersweet giddiness of winning that game, the left-over adrenaline from the fight and whatever complicated feelings John was battling with, watching Gale lose his shit. Hell, it could have been something as simple as taking the opportunity to hook up with another guy you know for sure is gagging for a cock in his mouth.

Whatever it could have been, it wasn’t, in the end.

What it was—it was John kissing him with an irrefutable intent, it was them touching each other like the both of them had been yearning for it for months on end, it was Gale’s tears and John’s unbidden affection.

It’s Gale letting John spoon him and kiss his neck, it’s Gale lying there, mind and heart racing, as he listens to John’s quiet snoring.

It’s Gale realizing he’s fucked up, because if John leaves him in the morning, if he acts like they’re friends after, Gale wouldn’t be able to collect all those pieces of himself John had so deliberately picked apart, into a shape that could even closely resemble a human.

is this actually new ramblings for the iteration or like one new lore bit and just a rerererererehashing of lore i sprinkled across the other posts.

so my Mondo was introduced in the Archie run, a funky guy with a metal band called Merciless Slaughter, dressed like a punk Hulk, all around good peoples, hung out with the Mutanimals.

His design cobbling isn't too deep, I don't think. Just thought it'd be more rad if he looked more like a guy who fronts a band called Merciless Slaughter while remaining the same ol' Mondo inside, post mutation.

Kept some of his original color palette around in his hat, his pants, his NYHC logo (links) knockoff, and his little dyed leather cord bracelets.

the letters for the logo are for, Skate or Die (across), and Merciless Slaughter (down)

hmm still waffling on if I'm more tickled by him being taller than Mikey or the same height (5'4")

and now for the rererererehash rambling because none of this design progression is coming out linear for me. so super quick, am an original 90s turtlemania survivor, Rise brought me back, gorged Rise then Bay then 2007 movie then rererererewatching of Next Mutation and the 90s trilogy for fun then hacking my way back through the Archie and Mirage runs then caught up with IDW and then just... slogging through 2003 and 2012 which honestly I feel like I got the gists of through gif sets alone.

one hand I can see why old fans (90s turtlemania) didn't seem to like the Rise designs, ours really were just the same li'l green dude but in different colors and hit sticks looks-wise. But here comes Rise with all the character design classics: different shapes! different sizes! exaggeration! and that's on top of all the nudges and twists made to the usual lore; Raphael is now the oldest, Leo and Donnie are now twins, they're different species of turtles, they're tools for war, brand new antagonists etc.

idk, to me when I was watching that shit, it was fun and refreshing so... ionno, built different cope maybe to the other oldheads pissing their pantaloons still ig whatevs

what tickles me most, personally, is the utter fuckton of Rise AUs, and a few Rise-driven iterations, and also some of the other non canon media iterations. so tickled that I got hit by the makeaniterationigitis itllbefunoccocal virus too. UnU (i'm kidding, i'm having so much fucking fun) just I'm addressing the flowers I wanna give to the kids who took Rise's take on tmnt and just RAN with the "different turtle species" from full out coloring their turtles the same as the species they picked to mimicking Rise's design language with different markings.

God, the markings thing just really nestled into my heart, it's such a simple thing and yet it took Rise to just try it, not even a lot, just a little for flavorrrrr. It's just enjoyable as fuck to me tbh and I'm sharpening my teeth when I revisit my coloring choices for the 8th time... fuck where was I?

right, mine are mistakes. wrongright place at the wrongright time, mutagen was there and now they can swing swords around and eat pizza.

someone(s) was high tailing it outta a TGRI lab with some mutagen barrels, driving recklessly while a bunch of eco-vigilantes had broken out of a pet shop that was the face of a black market pet trade/medicine/exotic food racket of endangered species. hence where their bit of human pre-mutagenic contact comes from (the strike team of people who freed them from their cages because all of them were endangered species & destined for a tank, a cutting board or a pill box); including a sea turtle Venus, Leatherhead, Tokka, Rahzar, Man-Ray some others etc etc. Jennika keeping her origin because it was dope as fuck. splinter was just there watching this symphony of human fuckery happen and decided to adopt some kids with no one asking (it was tang shen's onryo that is rooted in Splinter's mind that was asking, shh)

and ever since it clicked when I was gathering ref shots, ✨sea turtle Venus just makes sense✨ to me, it's taken my brain stem and rung it like a bell for new year's nonstop and i am not mad

... fuck, I am but also am not looking forward to when I start delving into ninjutsu, ninpo, Venus' whole schtick and how the supernatural fits into this world that I definitely don't need to be fleshing out this much just to draw them chilling on April's couch.

coffee mysty!!!! based on instant coffee packets

theyre based on diner waitresses with those roller skates and instnat coffee, mostly because mysty doesnt make mdo stuff from sctratch: its mostly command block stuff so i liek that metaphor of prepackaged code for command blocks, since this au? design thing? the philosophy is that the coffee adn the act of making it is the programming magic

so theres a lot ig old diner desgin liek stripes and bright colours. she's more colourful compared to the other designs i have; less muted more saturated stuff and way less ont eh brown i wanted to make their design have moer of a packaging feel rather than pure coffee

also that coffee pot is my best idea ever

+ heres like a main coffee shop idea where they all, wel not work but more or less treat as a headquarters. my idea is that they all have a whole street of coffee shops and perform like those barista presentations; this one is the center of that whole town

idk if it was ig reels or tiktok where i saw it but i saw an edit of nct dream jaemin and enhypen sunghoon ice skating and my brain started glitching fr because imagine hockey player jaemin x figure skater reader x figure skater sunghoon au where you and jaemin have been best friends since like diapers and he's always been secretly in love with you ever since he realized that his little "crush" on you from middle school might've been more than just a silly little crush. so when you guys started high school and you told your parents you wanted to start figure skating, jaemin overheard his mom talking about it after she came home from having lunch with your mom and so he asked jeno who was planning on joining the school's hockey team when tryouts were so he could tryout too because he knew that if you started figure skating you probably wouldn't have a lot of time to spend with him anymore but if he joins the hockey team (who practices at the same ice rink as the local figure skating team) then he'd be able to see you more. and then now here is where figure skater sunghoon comes in and becomes mr. steal yo girl. sunghoon is also on the figure skating team and of course since there aren't many guys who are on the team, sunghoon has most of the attention of the girls both on the team and even girls from the neighboring schools; except you of course. unlike the other girls, you're more focused on practicing to really pay much attention to him. there are a few occurences tho where you guys do talk, but it's nothing more than a "hi, good work out there" while you're both on your break and bump into each other by the vending machine. these interactions don't really mean too much to you toher than a friendly encounter. however, of course sunghoon seeing that you have almost no interest in him compared to the other girls makes him a little more intrigued and attracted towards you. so obv he develops a crush on you and now you got two boys lowkey but highkey in love with you.

i have a few ideas going brrrr in my brain and so im dumping them all here!!!

sooo that time capsule/hs au fic where it's almost the end of the summer?? and buck and eddie are about to start college. they used to be beat friends but kinda grew apart when hs began, but they buried this time capsule on buck's backyard when they were ten to open on buck's 18th bday. he does it alone and find that one of the notes/wishes for the future eddie left there was 'i wish evan was in love with me' and idk buck is shocked but he goes to eddie and things happen???

i had a weird kinda sad dream where like, imagine s5 eddie breakdown era and you know how he tries to call some of the soldiers he saved when the helicopter went down??? and they're all dead??? turns out buck was one of them and he's not dead. eddie calls him and he answers and they're both in a really dark place and yeah idk. (blame @monsterrae1 for this one)

bakery owner buck! who makes cookies for dogs and takes them to rescue vet clinics and stuff and vet eddie! (idk what im gonna do with this but also blame @monsterrae1 )

buck and eddie meet in peru. buck is a bartender and eddie is just on a vacation with his cousins before college?? idk. they have a party on the beach and it's late and there's a bonfire, buck takes his guitar and sings some songs and it's all very summer-y love fling vibes. they have sex on the beach?? idk

buck and eddie recently started dating when eddie has to go to texas??? chris and buck stay in L.A, chris gets appendicitis and it geta really bad and he has to be rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery??? buck is freaking out and he thinks eddie will break up with him bc he had to take care of chris!!!! and he failed!!!! and the kid almost dies!!!! (eddie turns out is just thankful buck was there and buck comes to the realization oh, they really are family and he is chris' second dad idk)

You felt Gally gripping your hand stronger, almost breaking your fingers with his strength. You turned your head to see him with a terrified expression “Trust me Gally, you’re not going to fall” you reassured him as you took a more significant step on the ice.

He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. You chuckled “Follow my movements,” you said as you threw your right leg forward and then swung your left one, never leaving his hand “You need to do bigger steps” you advised.

Gally reluctantly did as you said, stumbling a bit “You’re doing great” he looked down at his feet and started to lose his balance. “Look in front of you” you said with a laugh.

After half an hour of stumbling, he was finally able to skate on his own, with you right next to him so you could catch him (well softening the fall because he was way taller than you) if he ever fell.

He gained confidence and trusted himself to do a lap of the lake alone, you were obviously watching him. When he came back, you threw yourself on him, making him panic a bit “Be careful!”, you brought him close and capture his lips, taking his hands in yours again “See? You can do it!” you said enthusiastically. You observed Gally’s cheeks turning red, he offered you a shy smile “Yeah.”

I didnt actually get very far w the au BUT I did decide that it’s like. Skate jam sorta influenced. Like, SK8 but roller derby??

There’s prob different rules loosely based on actual derby stuff but teams of 4 with 1 jammer, 3 blockers but no rules regarding protective gear (rip get concussed ig. This au is built on the back of hurt/comfort everyone is always gettin hurt prob) Only 4 players per team to (hopefully) have less contact and probably played like a city block instead. Longer bouts than actual derby, it’s a game of endurance. Jammer wears their star wherever as part of their fit. IDK who would be on a team?? I’m thinking Isagi, Bachira, Kunigami and Chigiri as jammer.

I think Isagi would come from a street hockey background and meet Bachira in the park. Bachira’s a banged up jam skater and Isagi gets curious about the bruises so Bachira drags him along one night.

Sae and Rin probably have figure skating backgrounds, Sae introduced Rin to derby but left when he got bored. Rin keeps going and winning just to try to get Sae’s attention. They’re both still world class level figure skaters meanwhile.
