my boss is having to get involved with her daughter's school, because the school won't let her wear pants instead of a skirt despite the freezing winter......unless she identifies as a trans man or nonbinary. and this is the case in multiple schools in nz (and i have also heard in aus). while it's still mandatory for girls to wear skirts, if they have a non girl gender identity, they can wear pants. how fucking absurd and backwards is that?

thinking that Price likes seeing you in office/corporate job clothing. loves the pencil skirts with nylon stockings and heels. Loves hearing the sound of your heels clicking when you come down the stairs. adores the button ups, loves it when you leave it just a little bit unbutton so you can see a bit of your neck and collar bone. drives him completely and utterly wild. let’s not even get started on your dress pants. he can’t help but stare or grope you a bit before you leave for work.

I think I found the actual boots Kim wore as Nibbly but they’re so expensive and I almost definitely wouldn’t wear them outside of cosplay :’)

...How does it feel? Having a female body?
Not bad actually! Not to sound surprised, but it’s fantastic! Many of this..body’s..traits are like my old one. Except, better? Plus, this body is really nice, not saying I didn’t expect it to be nice, but it’s like a fresh canvas I suppose. I can do whatever I want with it, make it my own. Fix it any way I need to, until I eventually get bored and leave. But I don’t plan on leaving that quick. I do need to file down these nails while I’m here.
It’s just nice to be back physically, it does feel a bit odd walking in heels though..

one of the funniest things about how much fast fashion has infiltrated /everywhere/ so thoroughly the past decade is the fact that when I went looking for christmas presents I was seeing exactly the same patterns of fabrics used for different outfits in totally unrelated shops- like when I was a kid it'd be unthinkable to see the exact same fabric being sold as a dress in a name brand surf shop and then seeing it as pants in sports girl and then seeing it as a jumpsuit in the expensive hippie shop- these are all completely separate shops, they aren't like sister stores or something, they even have varying price points and yet that exact same print of fabric is in all of them? this never used to happen. if something was sold in a surf shop, it was only in that surf shop. if something was sold in Ghanda, it was only sold in ghanda. Now though? idk, kinda seems like they all order from the same giant offshore manufacturers....

20dollarlolita’s February $20 challenge:
Metamorphose OTK’s, $16 // BTSSB socks (these were $42 for all three so technically $14 each and that qualifies IMO)
Angelic Pretty letter set, $17 // GLB no. 1, $20
I wasn’t really trying to find/make anything for this challenge so it’s not a lot but I figured I’d share ^^
I have bought a skirt and blouse before for $20 (my cheapest dress was $35), and tons of legwear/hair accessories for $20 and under so I don’t think it’s an impossible challenge for bigger pieces but an unlikely/difficult one. Still fun to see though! I think this should become a bigger thing

since we have been on the topic of fashion and ik you like long skirts, have any suggestions on where to get some from? ive been looking for long or midi ones for fall but they're all either crazy overpriced or old lady
charity shops!!! it's very hit and miss for obvious reasons but all my favourite skirts have come from charity shops, you just need to dig deep and find some shops that generally get good shit. never slate the old lady look either, one of my fav skirts is a blue floral one that was given to me by my mum's 80+ year old friend that she goes sewing with. she's the love of my life.
