Smartphones have become an indispensable part of our daily lives, revolutionizing the way we communicate, access information, and interact with the world around us. In this video, we'll explore the evolution of smartphones, what to expect in the future, and how artificial intelligence is changing the way we use and interact with our devices.
The evolution of smartphones has been a remarkable journey that has transformed the way we communicate, work, and interact with the world around us. From their humble beginnings as simple communication devices to the powerful pocket-sized computers they are today, smartphones have gone through several phases of innovation, shaping our modern society in the process.
One of the most prominent trends was the advancement of foldable and flexible display technology. This innovation allows smartphones to transform from standard-sized devices into larger tablet-like screens. This could enable users to carry a single device that serves multiple purposes, bridging the gap between phones and tablets. This trend might lead to a revolution in multitasking, productivity, and media consumption on smartphones.
As AR technology becomes more sophisticated, smartphones are expected to integrate AR capabilities seamlessly. This could transform the way we interact with our environment, overlaying digital information in the real world. Imagine using your smartphone's camera to identify objects, navigate unfamiliar places, or even play immersive AR games that interact with the physical world.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) was expected to play a larger role in smartphones, making devices more personalized and intuitive. AI-powered assistants could anticipate users' needs, provide contextual recommendations, and automate various tasks, making smartphones more integral to daily life.
Future smartphones were projected to offer even more sophisticated biometric security features, such as facial recognition, iris scanning, and possibly even advanced vein pattern recognition. These methods could offer heightened security and privacy, making traditional passwords and PINs obsolete.

the world is going a little insane right now. ai weiwei tweeted some quotes by osama bin laden about palestine and now he's claiming censorship cause it was deleted but blaming israel's "soft power" (this has nothing to do with Israel???? You're a celebrity quoting bin laden in a usamerican website) and now Elon Musk told him he was "speaking the truth" and he's now posting that response from musk on instagram but people in the replies instead of pointing out the hypocrisy are calling him antissemitic like!!!! none of this makes any fucking sense!!!!!!!!!! The world has collectively lost its grasp on reality

I think it's really really funny that a few years ago if you mentioned any of the potential evils of social media use you were summarily flogged in public for yucking someone's yum and people just trying to get by, and now every other post is 'omg Tumblr is a HAVEN in this time of INTERNET APOCALYPSE, Tik Tok/Twitter is poisoning peoples' MINDS, notification systems game your attention span!' oh is that so?
I agree that there are sometimes bigger things you need to be worried about. But social media is social, and it reflects social dynamics. Which, as social creatures, has a pretty big impact on us. It's just annoying when hedonism is such an incoherent philosophy and we're trying to protect people from the wrong things. And the reality is that you can keep doing things that you might know aren't the best for you but you can also curate the way you interact with these platforms lol. I even know people who left Tumblr because they felt even that small amount of online interactivity was 'bad'.
I am glad the conversation has opened up a bit though, no fingerwagging. I also think that looking at the ways in which social interactivity online is good is as beneficial as looking at the bad: yes, it's true that the Internet opens up for more inclusivity (housebound people, like the disabled, have the opportunity for more interaction) and like with the case of Tumblr, clearly there's something to this whole thing of sharing creativity. Lol
It's interesting to watch it evolve though. I do get annoyed when it swings in the other direction and introduces neurobabble or flatly reduces the issue to 'social media bad!' with all the accompanying clickbait of being someone with a slightly different marketable lifestyle, though. The problem with that - and any other lifestyle someone is trying to sell you on the Internet - is that it's all in the doing, and you don't overnight transform into the Right Person. It's not really how life works. This is why I think the individual journey matters, not the person who accrues all the correct behaviours from certified influencers. Hence issues with social media.

it is inconceivable to me that over 70% of people access the internet SOLELY through their phones when the experience of completing any sort of web-based task on mobile is so absolutely agonizing. you people really live like this?

Title: 6 Creative Ways to Boost Online Sales Today
In the fast-paced world of e-commerce, staying ahead of the competition requires continuous innovation and creativity. If you're looking to increase your online sales, here are six creative strategies to implement today.
Tumblr media
Interactive Product Demos:
Transform the online shopping experience by incorporating interactive product demonstrations. Utilize virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) technologies to allow customers to virtually try out your products before making a purchase. This immersive approach not only engages customers but also builds confidence in their buying decisions. By providing a unique and enjoyable experience, you enhance the perceived value of your products, ultimately driving sales.
Personalized Shopping Journeys:
Tumblr media
Leverage the power of data to create personalized shopping journeys for your customers. Analyze their past purchases, browsing behavior, and preferences to curate tailor-made recommendations. Implement personalized product recommendations on your website, in email campaigns, and through targeted ads. The more relevant and personalized your suggestions are, the higher the likelihood of customers making additional purchases.
Limited-Time Exclusive Offers:
Create a sense of urgency and exclusivity by introducing limited-time offers that are available only online. Whether it's a flash sale, exclusive discounts, or bundled packages, time-limited promotions can trigger a fear of missing out (FOMO) and drive immediate action. Promote these offers prominently on your website, social media channels, and email campaigns to maximize their impact.
User-Generated Content Campaigns:
Encourage your customers to become brand advocates by incorporating user-generated content into your online strategy. Run contests, giveaways, or challenges that encourage customers to share their experiences with your products. Feature this user-generated content on your website and social media platforms to build trust and authenticity. UGC serves as social proof, influencing potential buyers and fostering a sense of community around your brand.
Subscription Services and Loyalty Programs:
Introduce subscription services or loyalty programs to incentivize repeat purchases. Offer exclusive benefits, such as early access to new products, special discounts, or members-only events, to encourage customer loyalty. By providing added value to your repeat customers, you not only increase customer retention but also create a steady stream of revenue through subscription models.
Gamification Elements:
Gamify the shopping experience to make it more enjoyable and engaging. Implement elements like reward points, challenges, or interactive quizzes that offer discounts or exclusive perks upon completion. Gamification not only adds an element of fun to the shopping process but also encourages customers to spend more time on your website, increasing the likelihood of making a purchase.
In conclusion, boosting online sales requires a combination of creativity, technology, and strategic thinking. By implementing these six creative strategies, you can differentiate your brand, engage customers, and ultimately increase your online sales today. Stay agile, stay innovative, and watch your online business flourish.

silly Doctor Who headcanons !!
for every regeneration, The Doctor and The Master/Missy have a truce for a day, or however long it takes, to complete a game of chess. often these end up being a "best of..." situation that leads them both down an array of increasingly absurd challenges to name a victor. some notable ones include Eleven suggesting a space hopper race, Twelve and Missy competing in a battle of the bands, and even Thirteen dominating in her speed stacking skills against Dhawan!Master.
The Doctor has to keep track of what communication device is from what era that companion originally lived in and finds it funny the way humans have evolved the idea of telephones to mobiles to smartphones for the simple act of communication (they still think its funny calling their multi-dimensional time travelling space ship a telephone kiosk however)
when asked what their favourite colour was, The Doctor spoke gallifreyan to describe a colour only time lords could perceive, but the TARDIS not translating it telepathically meant the companion just had The Doctor speak what sounded like mathematical gibberish to them, smile, and then proceed to carry on like normal.
The Doctor is actually terrified of cars and thinks it is incredibly brave that humans launch giant metal objects with the power of combustion around for transport, despite themselves using a perpetually stabilised collapsing star to power their space and time breaking capsule. when questioned how safe the TARDIS engines actually were, all they could do was laugh nervously and mention how time lords were adventurous mechanics.
there are actually a number of stray cats and dogs that have wandered in, the TARDIS finding them all cute beyond measure and thinking it would help The Doctor feel less lonely. however, the dimension inside being almost infinite, they tend to get lost and are never seen again. but every so often, The Doctor just finds a random adorable animal looking up at them expecting pets.

Hi! Hope you're doing well. I was reading a fantasy webcomic with some Deaf characters and was wondering: what adjustments to the language creation processes would a conlanger have to make for creating a sign language? Thanks!
The short answer is relatively few. Sign languages are languages and do all the same things with a different phonology. So long as you understand the phonology of a sign language you can create a sign language.
The long answer is here. That's a thing I wrote up called SLIPA (Sign Language IPA). Due to the fact that the potential for iconicity with gesture is greater than with sound there's a lot more onomatopoeia in a sign language than in a spoken language. To explicate, onomatopoeia in spoken language is a word that imitates the sound of the referent (splash, crash, plunk, boing). In a sign language, it's a sign that imitates the look of the referent (ASL TREE, for example). Since it's possible to be more iconic, sign languages take advantage of that fact. Consequently, you don't find sign languages that DON'T take advantage of it and are purely abstract. There are also things that are hard or impractical in a spoken language that are simple in a sign language simply due to the medium (e.g. full number incorporation in the ASL words for WEEK and MONTH). Finally, there are a lot of "on the fly" verbs that are created that have no obvious analog in a spoken language. It's something like the sentential words of a polysynthetic language combined with imitative sounds in a spoken language to describe a body in motion.
In other words, because there are things you can do in a sign language simply due to the medium that you can't do in a spoken language, sign languages often do those things. It would be strange (i.e. non-human) if they didn't. If you're aiming to create a secret sign language, perhaps you intentionally don't take advantage of those things. It's possible to create a purely abstract sign language, but it would be a fairly obvious construct the way Ithkuil is very obviously not a plausible human language (i.e. it could never have evolved naturally to be the way it is). This might be a fun thing to do for a fictional setting—a totally non-iconic sign language created for secret communication. This is, essentially, what I did with the Atreides sign language in Dune (as opposed to the other sign language I created for the first film that wasn't used). Even that one, though, takes advantage of iconicity in a way that a truly abstract sign language need not. This is because part of the secrecy of the language is the way it's used. Others aren't even supposed to see it—and if they do, they're supposed to dismiss it as hand twitches. You could make an obvious sign language (i.e. it's obvious these characters are signing to each other) but with really, really weird associations—like pointing to your interlocutor means "sky", where eveyrone looking on will think it means "you".
Anyway, just some thoughts. This is an underexplored area of conlanging, but due to the simplicity of video creation and sharing nowadays, it's something that's worth exploring. Back in 2006 when I wrote up SLIPA it wasn't practical to take videos and upload them. It was possible, certainly—we had high speed internet and websites—but we didn't have smartphones, I don't think YouTube existed yet, most frontend UI didn't have video embedding as a feature of its platform, etc. We were lightyears ahead of the internet as we understood it in the 90s, so 2006 would be much more familiar to the people of 2024 than the people of 1994, but smartphones and social media (and its infrastructure) really changed the nature of capturing and sharing video. Conlangers have taken advantage of that in every way EXCEPT creating, documenting, and sharing CSLs (created sign languages).
Like (I don't want to go off on a tangent here) you can have an entire YouTube account that is just a dictionary. ASL already does this. Go on YouTube and type "ASL sign for [whatever]". There are tons of videos that are like 10-15 seconds long that are just demonstrations of a single sign from different angles, all made by Deaf signers. And the videos don't need sound! You don't have to worry about audio quality, microphones, etc. You can actually use YouTube to document an entire sign language. No one's done it yet. Why not?
Anyway, those are my thoughts. Hope this helps.

the fucking GALL of racist radfems to claim that men of colour are more misogynistic and violent than white men because of culture is incredible! "immigrant men of colour are more likely to assault white women because of sharia law" like please show me the stats?! and tell me why this is 100% a cultural thing and not a class thing while you're at it. no one is telling you to trust any man, but the idea that men of colour are just culturally more barbaric is not only untrue but deeply offensive. the idea that child marriage is purely a brown people thing is so laughable i can't fathom it. it is borderline gaslighting women of colour by saying that white men are socialized to somehow be more humane because of "european culture."
after all, most sex tourists/serial rapists are white men and most serial killings are committed by white men. which better demographic to get away with sexual violence against lesser humans like the coloureds? :) we all know that the richer men are the more they use that freedom to exploit and victimize. what do you think your little storm troopers the government sent to our backyards are doing? keeping peace? :) not raping innocent women and children here while they train for a war your emperors will invent? :) are white men just more evolved or are white women just better protected by their financial status? fucking morons.
but more egregious than anything is the complete lack of accountability when it comes to white culture. y'all LOVE to talk about how european/western culture is all about ethics and scientific discovery and progress and IT'S A FUCKING JOKE. white supremacy is white culture. imperialism is white culture. pornography is white culture. incest is white culture. colonialism is white culture. consumerism is white culture. who do you think enforced patriarchy on egalitarian, matrilineal and matrifocal indigenous people groups? like wHitE cULtuRe is one of the most violent things to happen to this planet and the human race. white culture is holy wars and grand conquests. white culture is brute force and large-scale violence for the sake of the elite.
white so called radical feminists LOVE to argue like men so often, throwing the "but where would the rest of you be without our accomplishments?" FUCK YOU. The answer is not so fucking traumatized and probably more populous! the sun wouldn't be this hot. our wildlife wouldn't be so diminished (your white men love hunting our wildlife for sport and prestige). our people wouldn't be so poor and sick. and yes, even our men wouldn't be so violent if white men weren't spreading pornography propaganda in every media outlet. "where would you be without the suffragettes?" (tell me how that's different from "women wouldn't have rights if we hadn't allowed it") we wouldn't have needed the suffragettes if your fucking grandfathers hadn't landed on our shores with guns and bibles. what, you think we just sat in the sun and diddled ourselves for centuries? you think we didn't have philosophy, medicine, language or science before you? you think we were just stagnating in a marsh, waiting for some guy called John to tell us how to make clothes and teach us hygiene? are white cultures the only ones capable of progressing? you think the only way humans would have been able to make smartphones is if a white person did it?
culture my FUCKING ASS.

"Digital Self-Care: Setting Boundaries Online"
In our increasingly interconnected and digital world, setting boundaries online has become an essential aspect of overall well-being. The omnipresence of smartphones, social media platforms, and constant connectivity can lead to information overload, digital fatigue, and potential negative impacts on mental health. Recognizing the importance of establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries in the digital realm is crucial for fostering a balanced and fulfilling life.
The Importance of Setting Boundaries:
Protecting Mental Health:
Constant exposure to digital stimuli can contribute to stress, anxiety, and burnout. Setting boundaries helps in preserving mental well-being by allowing individuals to detach from the digital world and focus on real-world experiences.
Maintaining Healthy Relationships:
Unchecked screen time can interfere with personal relationships. Establishing digital boundaries ensures that quality time is dedicated to offline interactions, fostering stronger connections with family and friends.
Productivity Enhancement:
Excessive use of digital devices may lead to a decline in productivity. By delineating specific time slots for work, leisure, and rest, individuals can optimize their productivity and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Preventing Information Overload:
The constant influx of information from various sources can be overwhelming. Setting boundaries on information consumption helps individuals filter and prioritize content, preventing information overload and promoting a more focused and intentional use of online resources.
Tips for Managing Screen Time and Creating Balance:
Define Clear Work and Leisure Hours:
Establish specific time frames for work-related activities and leisure pursuits. This demarcation helps in preventing work from encroaching into personal time, promoting a healthier balance between professional and personal life.
Designate Tech-Free Zones:
Identify areas in your home or specific times of the day where digital devices are off-limits. This could be during meals, in the bedroom before bedtime, or in designated relaxation spaces. This practice encourages more mindful engagement with the physical environment.
Utilize Screen Time Tracking Tools:
Many devices offer screen time tracking features that provide insights into digital habits. Utilize these tools to monitor and manage daily screen time, enabling individuals to make informed decisions about their online activities.
Establish Social Media Boundaries:
Set limits on social media usage to prevent mindless scrolling. Designate specific times for checking social platforms, and consider detox periods where you take a break from social media to recalibrate and refocus.
Prioritize Face-to-Face Interactions:
Actively schedule in-person meetings and activities. Physical interactions contribute significantly to emotional well-being and can provide a necessary break from the digital world.
Learn to Say No:
Be mindful of overcommitting to online engagements. Learn to say no to invitations, notifications, or requests that can contribute to digital overwhelm. Prioritize activities that align with your personal and professional goals.
Practice Mindfulness:
Incorporate mindfulness practices into your routine, such as meditation or deep breathing exercises. These practices can help create a sense of presence and awareness, reducing the stress associated with constant digital connectivity.
By consciously setting boundaries in the digital realm, individuals can enhance their overall well-being, improve personal relationships, and cultivate a healthier balance between the online and offline aspects of their lives. Digital self-care is an evolving practice that requires mindfulness and adaptability, empowering individuals to navigate the digital landscape in a way that promotes their holistic health and happiness.

I COULDN’T HELP BUT WONDER…
How the Hell Did Dating Become So Dump-Friendly?
An essay by Nery Sommers
Introduction
Dating in the 21st century has undergone a significant transformation. The traditional dynamics of romance have given way to a more casual, disposable approach, leaving many to wonder how and why dating has become so dump-friendly. In this essay, we will explore the factors contributing to this shift, including the rise of dating apps, changing societal values, and the impact of technology on interpersonal relationships.
The Rise of Dating Apps
One of the key factors responsible for the shift towards dump-friendly dating is the proliferation of dating apps. The advent of technology and the accessibility of smartphones have made it easier than ever to connect with potential partners. While this convenience can be a blessing, it also encourages a disposable attitude towards dating. Users can quickly swipe through profiles, discard matches that don't meet their immediate expectations, and move on to the next without investing much time or effort.
The "Paradox of Choice"
Psychologist Barry Schwartz coined the term "paradox of choice" to describe the overwhelming impact of having too many options. Dating apps offer a plethora of potential partners, but this abundance often leads to feelings of dissatisfaction and an endless quest for someone better. In this quest, people are more likely to give up on a current partner or connection, leading to a dump-friendly culture where it's easy to walk away in search of an elusive "perfect" match.
Changing Societal Values
The values and expectations surrounding dating have also evolved over time. In the past, relationships were often approached with the intention of finding a lifelong partner. Today, the emphasis has shifted towards personal fulfillment and self-discovery. People are more likely to enter relationships with the attitude of "I'm in it for myself" rather than "I'm in it for us." This self-centered approach can make it easier to end relationships when they no longer serve one's immediate needs.
Commitment Phobia
Commitment phobia has become more prevalent in modern dating. The fear of settling down and the allure of endless possibilities drive individuals to keep their options open, leading to a lack of commitment in relationships. This commitment-averse mindset contributes to the dump-friendly nature of modern dating, as people are less inclined to work through challenges and instead opt for an easier way out.
The Impact of Technology
The role of technology in shaping dump-friendly dating cannot be overstated. Online communication, which often lacks the depth and intimacy of face-to-face interactions, has made it easier to disconnect and break up with someone through a text message or a few clicks. This depersonalized approach further desensitizes individuals to the emotional consequences of ending a relationship.
Conclusion
The evolution of dating into a dump-friendly culture is the result of a complex interplay of factors, including the rise of dating apps, changing societal values, the paradox of choice, commitment phobia, and the impact of technology. While modern dating offers many conveniences, it also comes with a challenge: balancing the pursuit of personal fulfillment with the ability to build meaningful, lasting connections. Understanding these factors can help individuals navigate the dating world more consciously and foster healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

OK SO mine isn't really a request because I have ideas but I can't write so they go nowhere and stay in my head because I'm incapable!!! anyway, I was thinking about a situation where reader and tangerine met on the train and they hit off right away like there's something special between them eheh, like they like each other but turns out that they're both on a mission and have the same goal - so they fight because reader steals the WHATEVER IT IS IDK that's in both their interest and manages to get off the train right under tangerine's nose when he was about to stop them, doing so in a fight reader rips tangerine's necklace, and basically breaks it and ultimately keeps it (and fixes it) . just in case. because they like him. genuinely. in fact she's very sorry for ruining the mission of the twins but it's a matter of life or death sooo rip AND they're also indirectly but maybe directly? the cause of the nasty scar tangerine now has on his neck because he risked his life because of this failed mission. and then I mean we all know what happens canonically but we Dont Care do we.... it's all a scar and a memory in the end.
ANYWAY they finally meet again when they're forced to team up by their handlers for another mission and like tangerine and lemon are mad mad because everyone was about to die on that train!! because of reader!!!! duh. also R feels very guilty because all that has happened / could've happened. and tangerine of course is angry because he was losing his life but also because he kinda was disappointed in their behavior and maybe in himself for trusting so easily a person.. anddd idk maybe there could be some angst because I love it and that's it THIS IS SO DUMB AND LONG I'm sorry I know I'll probably look to this request in a while and cringe so bad. but I'm just curious to see how you would continue it, like what do you think would happen, what are the first things they say to each other, how does it evolve things like that 🥰
of course, if you don't feel like writing anything that's totally fine and don't worry at all❤️❤️
p. s. : im sure ive taken the prompt where reader steals / ruins tangerine's mission from other fics as well so kudos to whoever came up with the idea :)
Dear Anon, first of all, thank you so much for your patience. I’m usually slow to answer, and with things being very busy at work I’m even slower. Please, do not cringe, it was awesome to read your ideas, and I was so happy you sent this message. Thank you so much ❤️ , and I hope you enjoy how this turned out!
A Darling Mess
"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" you groan, letting your head hit the wall behind you. The golden necklace glints between your fingers.
You didn't mean to steal it. You really didn't. You didn't mean to run into the Twins and most certainly didn't mean to hook up with the moustached one in one of the bathrooms on that cursed train either.
More accurately, you shouldn't have wanted to hook up with him, but as soon as the two of you had crossed paths in one of the carriages, you knew it was going to happen. And when it happened it was quick and glorious and earth-shaking, and you hoped you were going to see him again.
Then everything went to shit, you two fought for that damned suitcase - his hands apparently were really good for many different things - and you barely ran away from that train with all your limbs.
Your smartphone buzzes incessantly. It's your handler.
"Where are you?"
It's not like him to sound so distressed.
"Not sure about the exact position, it's an alley near Nagoya station. I think I need a lift."
He tells you about a derailed bullet train and how it seems a lot of people - assassins like you, but still... people - died. One of the Twins as well, according to the info he got. The moustached one. You feel a pang of pain in your chest, which is stupid because he was just a stranger you fucked on a train.
A year has passed. Tokyo has slowly just started to become a mission you will remember with regret for a long time when you find yourself pointing your weapon at Moustache Guy again. While he's doing the same. And his brother is aiming a gun at you as well.
Shit.
You are more surprised to see him most definitely alive than to have him threatening you.
“You owe me a great deal,” he hisses, low and dangerous “You fucked up our mission, stole my fucking necklace, and almost got me killed. Almost got my brother killed as well! Why shouldn’t I murder you on the spot?”
You frown “First of all, the necklace got caught in my jacket while you were using me as a human punching ball. Second,” you add, eyes only quickly flickering on the huge, angry scar on his neck “one of you is going to kill me for sure, but I can guarantee you I will take the other down with me.”
Anger blazes in his eyes and you push further, adrenaline pumping in your veins “Third, asshole, you and your brother here screwed up since the moment you decided to leave the suitcase and the boy you were supposed to escort unguarded! What utterly morons do that?”
A pause and then you decide to further test your luck “Last but not least, I’m sorry you two almost got killed. I can apologize for my part in that, even if it’s a small one. But I won’t accept you blaming me for the rest, Moustache Boy!”
His nostrils flare, and he glares at you. It’s unfair that he looks even more ravishing with that savagery seeping from him in hot waves. Also, you probably shouldn’t get distracted by that, since the danger of being shot is a very real one.
Lemon’s laughter is short, and he nods at you, interrupting the impasse “This one got quite a temper, uh? I kind of see the fascination with the... situation.”
Tangerine snarls an insult at him, but it carries no real venom.
In the end, after some calls from your handler and his reminders to the Twins that they have to collaborate with you on this mission and an offer to triple the pay for all of your messed up trio, guns are put away, hands tentatively shaken, and scowls mostly kept under control.
You know they still blame you for your part in the train debacle. Yet, true to their professional reputation, they carry through the mission. It’s a long one.
Living in such proximity inevitably leads to some kind of tepid intimacy. Lemon is the first one to soften up a bit. He starts to ask you if you want some coffee. He asks you about your favourite book, once he spots you reading it to fight your insomnia. He thanks you after you retrieve a USB pen that will help with the job. And one day he gives you a sticker of some train and tells you that despite everything you are not a Diesel. You are not sure what it means, and Tangerine indeed scoffs at the words, but after that things are a little less tense, between the three of you.
Tangerine slowly stops glaring at you and once he almost compliments your ability in combat, after you knock out a goon that was going to stab him.
The progress is little but steady, and one night, for a hilarious twist of the events, the moon finds you two looking outside the same window, in the little apartment you have been given as a base.
“I’m sorry you got shot.”
He nods at your words, slightly sniffing and making his moustache move over his very kissable lips.
“Thanks,” he hesitates before quickly murmuring his own apology about blaming you and only you “I think my ego got a tad hurt realizing you shagged me just because of a honeypot mission.”
“I didn’t,” it's the quiet murmur that gently interrupts his gruff confession.
He scoffs “I very much think we did it in that bathroom, love.”
“Not that,” you roll your eyes at him “I meant it wasn’t a honeypot mission. I- I did not hook up with you because of work. I didn’t even know you and Lemon were the ones having that cursed briefcase, at the time.”
Tangerine just looks at you, and you look back at him “I have your necklace. It got a bit damaged, but I had a jeweller fix it. I know it’s stupid, but I thought-”
Your voice dies down a bit and you are not really shocked to feel his calloused hand gently cupping your face, making you look at him “What did you think?”
You swallow “I thought I was going to find out where Lemon put your grave and bring the necklace there.”
You feel a tear roll down your cheek, and then another, and another. He kisses them, one by one, his lips lingering on your soft skin, and you sob “I’m so stupidly glad you didn’t die.”
He chuckles against your lips “So am I, my darling.”
You kiss him and he kisses you back, and the morning after Lemon is not surprised to catch you coming out from Tangerine’s bedroom.
Sensing your hesitation, he winks at you “Glad it happened. Be good to him, ya?”.
And of course, you nod back, with all your heart.

Those last posts got me thinking about the moonlight fam when they're finally in modern era, that got me curious, which of the brothers would have an easier time to adapt to modern technologies (mobile phones, smart tvs, cars, etc)? Which would be like the clinche vampires and go, fuck this i'll read the newspaper? Lmao, now i'm imagining mc (as the youngest of all) trying to drive a car for the first time and all the brothers are just screaming their heads off😂
Well, the one who would adapt best to the technology is (unsurprisingly) Jere. He would still be creating new things and even apps for only Mond’s vampires to use :) ✨
Max and Alex would adapt well, too. Nothing to an expert level like Jere, more like everyday use. Smartphones, cars, etc. And won’t think much of the changes. They would only adapt to what is normal in that era.
Derek and Enrique would accept the change as well. But, every so often, they will think about how quickly things change for humans and the need to keep evolving technologically. Very philosophical those two :)
And as for this:
Lmao, now i'm imagining mc (as the youngest of all) trying to drive a car for the first time and all the brothers are just screaming their heads off 😂
Yup, a very accurate description of the boys with an MC who’s either a bad driver or likes to drive at top speed 😂
