Thinking about how Effie wore a head scarf in Mockingjay part 1 to express herself since she didn’t have her wigs. How they used to be all the rage and we see that in TBOSAS and that makes me feel things.

I also love seeing the similarities in Effie and Tigris. Their love of fashion and expressing themselves through it. How they’re both Capitol, but caring people. And the growth that Effie goes through with Katniss and Peeta vs the Tigris and Coryo. Like Tigris continued to be kind by seeing the evil in Coryo and Effie grew more understanding because of Katniss and Peeta going through this trauma that she finally sees.

i always rotate how silva isn't actually . like . a hybrid . she's an yveltal. that's it, plain and simple. genetically by the halfway point of her journey(a year in) she's basically entirely yveltal, the cells are just dormant...waiting to be awakened. that "awakening" often happens when she gets injured. she gets hurt and the cells suddenly shift--they wake up. certain stimuli can also wake the cells up, such as the crater's influence can very quickly cause silva's body to shift the deeper she goes.

once all of silva's cells finally wake up, like a cicada, she would shed her skin and all that would be left would be the yveltal clone.

To be classy in my long-form TBOSAS/THG “Reformed Coryo” AU, describing kissing but going with the Matt Mercer-style “fade to feathers” approach or Suzanne-trademarked “So after, when he whispers, ‘You love me. Real or not real?’” method to convey These-Characters-Definitely-Just-Had-Sex?

Or to broaden my recovering-prudish- Southerner/internalized phobia horizons and just write what happens, because sex really shouldn’t be scary or something to be ashamed of, and a little smut never hurt anyone?

Transformation

Change is here. I am surrounded by all the beings of change and growth. I think of The Fool in Tarot when I look at this however, I am no fool even if I may look foolish at times.
