I think Raphael would be a terrible father. At least at the beginning (we’re ignoring the fact he’s literally The Devil™. jk we can’t)
Welcome to my ted talk, it’s just a bunch of words. I doubt this makes any sense
Tumblr media
Despite my belief that he's adept at charming people and appearing nice, he still manages to do some terrible things to children (eeeh, Mol?). Like, seriously, a contract with a child? Even if we all know he could charm a piece of furniture into whatever he wants. So, handling a somewhat grown-up child wouldn't be a challenge for him, I guess.
A toddler? Absolute hassle. He doesn’t harbor strong feelings about them, nor does he find them repulsive, but he does consider them utterly useless. Requiring round-the-clock attention, they're a burden he can't comprehend why anyone would want. If handed a toddler, honestly, he'd let them cry until they're so exhausted they fall asleep.
Another reason why I think he would make a terrible parent (aside from the fact that he’s literally a devil) is his relationship with his own father, which is also awful. I mean, he absolutely despises Mephistopheles. I'd venture to say it's because Raphael feels like his father believes he's incapable of achieving his ambitious goals. Plus, our dear devil often behaves like a petulant child who didn’t get what they wanted (remember the whole crown of Karsus and so on).
Let’s continue… ehem, Enver Gortash? Like Raphael had this poor child inside his House of Hope where he was beaten by debtors and saw a lot of atrocities. Yeah, he doesn’t even have a paternal instinct.
Ugh, I’m feeling like a Raphael hater!
Let’s move on to the somewhat delulu part: Actual children of his own… finally!
Since our dear devil is a cambion, possessing this inherent humanity within himself (like his penchant for singing, poetry, and writing), I believe he craves things that mortals have, such as affection, closeness or even love (but doesn’t understand it). So, if someone is foolish enough to have children with him, I think he would see it as an opportunity to mold someone from their very first breath. Everything he does is connected to his grand ambition of becoming the king of hell, so having a child doesn’t sound too bad in that context.
He would completely ignore his child’s needs and would be pretty negligent overall. Would plot against Mephistopheles with them.
But to be loved is to be changed, and if someone is both brave enough to love him and start a family with him… well, I think we can appeal to his more human side. I think he could be able to feel ‘love’ for his child but he’s never going to be able to be a decent father. He will go from evil to mean. I really hope their other parental figure is treating them with love.
I think his first child ever will grow to resent him, even if Raphael tried to shape them to be a piece of his giant plan. Mortals are bounded to emotions.
But this is fantasy! I’d be delulu sometimes thinking he could be a great dad! Like actually being warm to his sons and daughters, reading poetry and living in a quiet home, away from the city and near a lake.

Top ten weirdest houses biology wise and why?
I recon House Lolita must be white high simply by virtue of being TARDIS and being able to reproduce the biological way.
What are the top ten Houses for weird biology?
The Houses of Gallifrey are notoriously secretive about what they get up to, so this is a bit difficult to answer, but certainly not impossible if you'll allow a bit of theory. You may have a different order, but here's GIL's 10 to 1 of the potentially most biologically curious Houses of Gallifrey:
10: The Sommeliers - 🍷House Heartshaven
Heartshaven was renowned for its exquisite vineyards and the coveted Hartshaven Wine, which it kept in a heavily reinforced wine cellar to protect it from earthquakes.
Significant biology: Because it's easy to fine-tune your loom to produce crazies, here's the nice one. House Heartshaven's affinity for wine could suggest they chose superior olfactory and gustatory receptors, enhancing their ability to discern wine's intricate flavours and aromas. Their expertise could include an internal mechanism like a spectrometer, analysing wine's chemical makeup, terroir influences, and fermentation. They might possess a unique temporal sensitivity to wine ageing, intuitively understanding and potentially influencing the wine's maturation process for the tastiest sip.
9: The Fashionistas - 👠 House Tracolix
Known for its ambition and adaptability, House Tracolix members are like that preppy kid at school who always had the latest trainers or tech. They love to follow fashion trends to exploit societal changes, making their members more adaptable than those from other Houses, but they are also noted to be arrogant and reckless.
Significant biology: Their adaptability and trend-following nature could rooted in a unique regenerative ability, allowing physical adjustments even after the post-regeneration moulding period. Their biology might be epigenetically responsive to cultural shifts, with heightened empathic abilities enhancing trend awareness. A sophisticated pheromonal communication system could trigger this adaptation, with aesthetics automatically responding to social surroundings.
8: The Unfortunates - 🏚️ House Catherion
Once a ruling house, House Catherion met a bloody end when a rogue babel massacred its cousins. The event stopped further generations from being loomed, marking the house's decline into extinction.
Significant biology: Even though it was more experimental, House Catherion's tragic end hints at a genetic foundation in the loom prone to instability and malleability. This inherent flexibility might have allowed for diverse genetic expressions but also led to volatile outcomes like the babel, so their advanced genetic practices, while ambitious, seemed predisposed to anomalies, ranging from potentially advantageous mutations to catastrophic failures.
7: The Angry People -🪞 House Mirraflex
Originating from the valorous General Mirraflex, this House stands as a testament to military might and strategic acumen. Known for birthing generals, enforcers, and strategists, Mirraflex members wear their supercilious entitlement like armour, viewing lesser species with disdain. Their aggressive defence of the Laws of Time is legendary.
Significant biology: House Mirraflex likely exhibits unique biological enhancements suited for combat and strategy. Enhanced adrenal systems could provide rapid responses in battle, while an advanced prefrontal cortex might underpin their strategic acumen, enabling complex decision-making. Emotional regulation mechanisms may suppress empathy, favoring pragmatic decisions crucial in military contexts. Elevated levels of aggression-associated hormones may enhance physical capabilities and assertiveness, and increased pain tolerance would allow members to endure and continue fighting despite injuries.
6: The Wolf Pack - 🐺 House Dvora
The first of the Newblood houses and by far the most successful. Its cousins are very self-assured, extremely practical and like to remain impersonal. It has a strict power structure that works on the premise of a pack with a pack leader. Arooo.
Significant biology: House Dvora's pack mentality suggests advanced social cognition, possibly through a specialised brain area for understanding hierarchies, and pheromonal communication for silent social signalling. Their cohesion hints at a developed empathy centre, aiding in group dynamics. Practicality may stem from enhanced problem-solving areas in the brain, with stress response adaptations enabling logical decision-making under pressure. Heightened non-verbal skills further facilitate their strict hierarchy, ensuring efficient internal communication and adherence to the House's power structure.
5: The Old Men - 📚 House Lineacrux
Famed for its scholarly pursuits, Lineacrux is a bastion of Gallifreyan history and law, obsessed with stability and non-invention and filled with fuddy-duddys walking around pondering. Their loom makes the cousins have the appearance of extremely old and senile people; however, its members wield considerable influence, often serving as advisors within Gallifreyan society. They’ve been known to shy away from the limelight, not taking credit for their input.
Significant biology: The aged and decrepit appearance members could serve as an intentional societal camouflage, a biological adaptation allowing them to blend into the background of Gallifreyan society. By appearing old and frail, members of House Lineacrux might be more easily dismissed or overlooked, to their advantage. They could subtly guide discussions and decisions without being seen as the driving force. The decrepit appearance might lead others to underestimate their vitality and longevity, potentially giving Lineacrux members an advantage in long-term planning and strategy.
4: The ShadyMaybe Vampires - 🩸House Deeptree/Redlooms
Deeptree/Redloom/whatever we’re calling it these days is characterised by its servitor-class status, producing military. Known for its loyal yet maverick cousins, the house has a history of quelling Time Lord traitors and sharing tales of vampires with its children.
Significant biology: Could this House’s obsession with vampires indicate a deeper historical and biological tie that’s beyond just ‘good victories’? Advanced healing capabilities could enable rapid recovery from combat wounds, while an enhanced circulatory system might offer exceptional endurance. A mild aversion to bright lights could lead to specialised nocturnal combat tactics. A telepathic bond, inspired by vampire bloodfasting, could facilitate silent, instant battlefield coordination. Heightened senses, including superior night vision and acute hearing, would aid in reconnaissance. Cultural and tactical practices may be shaped by traditional vampire weaknesses, like discomfort around running water. Unique dietary needs might support their advanced physiology, requiring a specialised intake to maintain their regenerative and enhanced functions. But this could all be rumour, of course.
3: The Timeship - 🛸 House Lolita
Founded by the 101-form timeship Lolita during the early years of the Time War, initially consisting only of Lolita and reserved for her timeship children.
Significant biology: House Lolita represents a unique fusion of biotechnology, with Lolita's ability to reproduce suggesting a blend of organic and mechanical systems. This reproductive capacity might involve regenerative biology, enabling Lolita to create offspring by reconstituting parts of herself, and/or in a more human way. Offspring inherit advanced sentient interfaces, with enhanced autonomy and a deeper intrinsic understanding of the time vortex. The concept of temporal genetics in Lolita's lineage implies that her descendants possess innate temporal abilities, navigating and responding to temporal phenomena naturally. This biotechnological marvel introduces the possibility of emotional intelligence in timeships, allowing for emotional responsiveness – sometimes, a bit TOO much.
2: The Hybrids - 🧪 House Meddhoran
Meddhoran's members were known for their unique biodata, interwoven with traits from lesser races  - an experiment by their parent House, Xianthellipse. This genetic gamble was considered to be a failure.
Significant biology: House Meddhoran showcases a diverse spectrum of hybrid abilities. This genetic blending with other species may result in changes in resilience, regenerative capabilities, and range of sensory perceptions, such as extra electromagnetic detection or advanced olfactory senses, or conversely, reduced senses. Their immune systems might be exceptionally robust, offering resistance against numerous pathogens, or quite weak compared to normal Gallifreyans. Some members could possess unconventional metabolic abilities, like photosynthesis, influenced by the unique traits of incorporated species.
1: The Biofundementalists - 🔬 House Arpexia
The bastion of scientific fundamentalism on Gallifrey, Arpexia is renowned for its unwavering dedication to logic, and doesn’t like emotions. This House's innovative spirit has birthed countless experimental time travel capsules, intricate technologies and a bottomless armoury, though sometimes at the cost of stability.
Significant biology: House Arpexia's members exhibit unique physiological adaptations suited to their scientific pursuits, including enhanced night vision from a tapeta lucida, increased magnetoception for spatial orientation, and a neurochemical balance that favours rationality over emotions. Their neurological architecture likely supports advanced problem-solving and data analysis, while their immune systems may be uniquely equipped to handle the risks associated with their experimental work. They are also prone to hallucinatory hysterics, suggesting an intricate interplay between their cognitive and sensory processes, with errors in processing potentially leading to vivid, and sometimes predictive, hallucinations.
Alternative number one
The House below isn't recognised by Gallifrey, but it's probably the MOST biologically interesting.
1: We don't talk about the - 👤 House of Shadows
Rumours swirl around Gallifrey of clandestine House/s of Shadows, a place for those scarred by regeneration gone awry – incomplete transformations, insides turned out, minds unaltered by new forms, or even regressed to child-like states. Within its rumoured walls, the Black Nurseries might house the paradoxical youth, trapped in perpetual childhood or monstrous forms. Despite modern Gallifreyan advancements (apparently) rendering such anomalies near extinct, whispers persist of the House's past, and possibly concealed, existence.
Significant biology: House/s of Shadows imprisons those with regenerative aberrations, ranging from incomplete transformations to paradoxical existences. These anomalies might grant unique abilities or altered perceptions, possibly leading to heightened psychic powers or unconventional temporal interactions. Members could have evolved defensive mechanisms, both physical and psychic, to protect against the vulnerabilities introduced by their flawed regenerations. The diversity in physical forms and internal biology among the House's members might reflect unique regenerative outcomes, possibly unlocking ancient or dormant genetic traits. Additionally, the regenerative traumas might imprint psychic scars, potentially manifesting as telepathic abilities or precognitive visions. Some may even experience dimensional dissonance, resulting in abilities like intangibility, albeit in an unpredictable fashion.
Honourable mentions
None of these Houses/groups are recognised by Gallifrey, thus don't make the list, but are still extremely interesting.
The Oh My Gods - 😈 House Celestis - transcended physical form to become entities sustained by collective belief, embodying a memetic form of existence.
The Troublemakers - ⌛ Faction Paradox - evolved from House Paradox into a cult defying Time Lord conventions, utilising paradoxes and rituals to navigate and manipulate temporal realms.
The Time Deniers - 🕰️ Nechronmancers - defy Time Lord norms by rejecting the concept of time. Their advanced temporal manipulation skills suggest neurological adaptations and extremely enhanced time lobes.

hogwarts houses
i feel like in the fandom, there’s a lot of discord about the houses. slytherin is either the worst or better than everyone, and same goes with gryffindor. hufflepuff is a bunch of morons with hardly any magic, who don’t deserve the time of day, who deserve to be ridiculed. ravenclaws are too smart, too nerdy, and are hardly talked about at all.
that’s dumb. that’s immature. not everything is black and white, and it takes a lot away from the story when it’s viewed in that way.
slytherin is the house of the cunning, the ambitious, where “you’ll make your real friends” (the sorting hats song). none of those things are bad. obviously, they can lead to being immoral or manipulative. i see a lot of fan fictions that play into that, maybe a bit too much, where the bullying is written off as “getting revenge” and spinning a narrative where slytherins are the oppressed, so much more so than muggleborns. a lot of these have the dangerous idea that blood purists are right about muggles and muggleborns, but that’s a separate argument. BUT, slytherins aren’t inherently evil; no one is. being in slytherin doesn’t make them evil. they’re not some sort of overpowered group, they’re all children. maybe they’re harder to read, but i highly doubt most of them can just push away emotions. i don’t think all of them are so cynical. i think they’re careful, they use what’s given to them, maybe they want to learn because knowledge is power. maybe they form connections, but i don’t think it’s them not having any real friends. i think the ambition they have isn’t always just used for their gain, but for the greater good too. they realize that losing a battle doesn’t mean losing the war, that sometimes, you have to surrender for survival.
gryffindor is the house of the “brave at heart” (the sorting hats song), chivalrous, the daring and people with a lot of nerve. that can lead to being brash, bullheaded, not knowing when to stop. but it’s also important to be able to face your fears. i don’t think they’re all dumb, or brash, or rude. i think they’re willing to stand up for people, even if they don’t like them. they might put others first. they aren’t fearless, but they can understand that overcoming fear is very powerful. sometimes, they can’t get over their fears. sometimes, their fears are hard to face, and maybe they don’t always face them. that is not shameful. i think that it’s a work in progress, and that’s brave too. maybe they’re rude sometimes, maybe they’re more of a small picture person. they aren’t exactly always loyal, but they stand up for what they personally believe in, whether it’s actually right or not. they want to protect not only the people they care about, but innocent people as well.
hufflepuff is the house of the “just and loyal” (the sorting hats song), the patient and the “unafraid of toil” (the sorting hats song). they’re described as hard-working. they believe in fairness, even if it hurts them. they aren’t exactly rule followers, but they have strong moral codes. i don’t think that makes them weak. i don’t think they’re leftovers, or stupid. loyalty can be dangerous, and it might cause them to not question the person they’re loyal to, or to speak up against something that rubs them the wrong way. but i also think they’re fierce protectors of the people they’re loyal to. they have good work ethics, they understand why rules might be put in place. they’re kids, so they’re not going to be without their own biases and prejudices, but they’re going to try to be fair. they might not stand in front of someone they’re loyal to, or pull strings from the sidelines, but they sure as hell will be a shoulder to cry on.
ravenclaw is the house of the wise, of the people who love to learn, the witty, “those with a ready mind” (the sorting hats song). this could lead to being snobbish, or believing they’re always right. however, i don’t think they always have their nose in a book. learning can be hands on, and i think they probably run a lot of experiments, whether social or scientific, or some sort of magical experiment. i think they’re less likely to buy into something that erases knowledge, not because knowledge is power, but because knowledge is valuable. i don’t think they’re always on top of their studies, i think they get sidetracked with their own interests. i think they stay up too late infodumping about one of their passions. i think some might be good at checking sources, and others not believing that something doesn’t have a bit of truth. they have friends, people who they care about and will stand by, but i think they also need to be able to talk about the things that keep them going, whether it be algebra or art, muggle or magical, addition or rocket science. they can be sarcastic, they have a weird amount of knowledge about obscure subjects. some of it is completely useless, like maybe they’re learning a dead language for no reason other than why not? maybe they’re mature for their age. maybe they’re hopeless at school, but have high emotional intelligence, or street smarts. learning and knowledge isn’t just limited to school or things you can learn through a book. sometimes knowledge is gained through experience, and i don’t think ravenclaws discredit that.
i think with well rounded characters, the world of harry potter is more interesting. i think motivations of each character is important. i think it would be dumb to ignore it, from a story telling perspective. i’m not sure how much this ramble made sense, but i would love to see a fic where these houses lived up to what they could be, where the people in those houses were diverse, who had flaws and tried their best to be the best person they could be, whether they go about it in the right way or not. it makes characters interesting and engaging, relatable, it makes them feel real. i’m so sick of hearing the same takes. give me people who contradict a part of what their house stands for, give me people who take their values too seriously and accidentally make it one of their faults. give me people who have traits of other houses too, because we are all spectrums.

Just a Rant about Slytherins in Harry Potter
I just watched this video on YouTube about the depiction of Slytherin House in Harry Potter. I agree with a lot the creator said, but I'm not going to recap the video since you can watch it. However, I do want to talk a little about Slytherins. And of course, this is just my opinion and I don't mind if people disagree respectfully.
One thing that I don't like about Harry Potter and ultimately the reason why I'll never love it as much as The Hunger Games is because of how one-dimensional it is. This aspect reminds us that at the end of the day, Harry Potter is a series for children. It has themes that are more complex and maybe not appropriate for kids, but I think a lot of fans forget (especially adult fans) that Harry Potter is a kid's book. I fall victim to this as well because I became a Harry Potter fan as an adult. Fun fact: I've only been a fan for 9 months; I can't claim I was a fan since I was 8 years old like some long-term fans can. Anyway, a lot of things in Harry Potter are seen as a dichotomy. Most characters are either good or bad and all houses are either good or bad (and the synonym for "bad" in this case would be Slytherin).
I think the reason why Slytherins are seen as bad is because the Harry Potter series defines "bad" as anyone who's a murderer, prejudiced, and/or has a hand in murder. Just as the video pointed out, the only (slightly) significant Slytherin character who mostly goes against this definition is Slughorn. But think about all the murderers in Harry Potter; perhaps the only Harry-Potter-defined "bad" person who isn't in Slytherin is Peter Pettigrew.
We see plenty of characters that aren't completely good (and of course, no character can ever be a saint 100% of the time) and unlikable that aren't in Slytherin. Lockhart was annoying and stuck up. Marietta Edgecombe betrayed the DA. Zacharias Smith was a pain in the ass. Cormac McLaggen was arrogant. Percy Weasley betrayed his family for a while. What do most of these characters have in common? They're arrogant, but they aren't seen as bad as Slytherins. The sin of arrogance is not nearly as bad as the sin of murder, so of course these characters are going to be put on the back seat in comparison to the Slytherins. Nonetheless, why do we see Slytherins as inherently bad while we see these other characters as just a few bad seeds in an otherwise good apple?
But if you ask fans who their most hated character is, most are going to say Umbridge. Umbridge could've killed Harry when she released the Dementors in Little Whinging, but she isn't a serial killer like Voldemort or Bellatrix. I'm not sure where I saw this, but someone said this is because not many of us know a serial killer; however, many of us know an Umbridge. And let's not forget to point out that she's a Slytherin.
And while I'm not here to say that we should hate serial killer Slytherins on the same level as arrogant Gryffindors and Ravenclaws, I still don't think it's fair to villainize Slytherins. I also am not sure where I saw this, but someone once said to imagine this scenario: you're an ambitious eleven-year-old who's excited to attend Hogwarts! You get sorted into Slytherin because you're ambitious, but then everyone outside your House hates you. Why are we villainizing little kids? It's because a lot of them are going to grow up to become bad. However, this is mostly because Slytherin House reinforces blood-purist ideals.
Another thing that the video pointed out is that Slytherin traits often align with traits of the other Houses, except their traits carry a negative connotation. Intelligence and cunningness are very similar traits, except being cunning is seen as a bad thing. Being hard-working and being ambitious often go hand-in-hand, except ambition can cause you to lose yourself. So why even have a Hogwarts house that breeds blood purists, has students that can fit into other Houses, and has been seen as evil for centuries? I'm not exactly sure.

I guess, if you're attracted to this, you must be inherently spiritual, and only in understanding your heart's true spiritual desires can you discover the true meaning of the Life you have chosen this time🧘🏻‍♀️
'You didn't come here to make a choice; you already made that choice. You came here to try to understand why you made that choice.' — something I saw on Pinterest

Pile 1 - Heaven on Earth; Your Own Peaceful Place
Priestesses of Intuition & Contemplation
3 of Cups & Gold Historian (Raphael Holinshed)
Tumblr media
Wow, this is actually a super major energy because your heart's true desires go beyond just wanting a nice house for you to come home to and relax. I mean, of course you also want this, but deep down, at the core of your Soul, you truly wish for a world where everyone is prosperous and comfortable. The slogan 'NO MORE WAR' comes to mind.
I sense there's a bunch of highly intelligent individuals attracted to this pile. Many of you may also have strong Earth placements like Capricorn somewhere and are quite grounded in reality. But still, there's something highly spiritual about the way you perceive the world, and the way this world makes you feel with the miserable events that often plague mankind. You think about these things a lot. Sometimes you can't understand why governments all around the world just can't get along. To you, they are infantile, selfish, and stupid.
You are Old Souls, that's for sure. You've had many past incarnations in which you witnessed societies collapse through their own greed and savagery. Your heart is tired of seeing history repeat the same bullshit over and over again. I guess that's why you feel a pull to do something about it. Actually, you will have a lot of contribution to this world. You just need to figure out what gifts your Soul has brought along with your current incarnation~

Pile 2 - A Polite, Harmonious World
Priestesses of Enchantment & Patience
Knight of Wands Rx & Gold Alchemist (Roger Bacon)
Tumblr media
Maybe not all of you feel a resonance with the concept of Starseeds, but the people who have chosen this pile have strong connections to civilisations—on and off planet—that are inherently peaceful. Civilisations that are mostly spiritual and peace-loving and your Soul has been carrying that imprint with your Human incarnations for quite a while.
There's something naturally healing about your presence and a lot of people who are close to your frequencies like that about you. But those whose hearts are full of evil and psyche super damaged tend to hate you for seemingly no reason at all. But that's only because your Light irritates their demons; somehow they feel called out just by you being the good person that you are.
It's super clear that you heart's true desires are harmony and life being full of Love—all kinds of Love. You just want to see people being good to each other; polite, friendly, respectful, helpful, just... not so passionately aggressive with their opinions and beliefs and what have you. You're probably the type to be incredibly put off by the social justice warriors we all see on the Internet today.
Like, you know they mean well... but the way they carry their activism is just... bleh.
Small advice for coping?🔻💗Happy Holidays; full post is open for public reading~!🎄

Pile 3 - Status, Power, most importantly Legacy
Priestesses of Ambition & Opulence
9 of Pentacles & Red Alchemist (John Dee)
Tumblr media
You're ambitious, so to speak, but not for shallow reasons. KABOOM. You want to stand on high grounds because you know that's where you can shine your light most effectively to cover a large surface. You're not a Young Soul and you know that, and you're smart and practical enough to know that if you want to make a HUGE difference in the world you gotta make it as equally BIG.
If ever you doubt yourself, thinking whether or not your desires are spiritual (after all, they do sound materialistic), this is your confirmation from your Higher Self and team of Spirit Guides that your ambitions come from a higher place of consciousness. In fact, I wouldn't worry about you losing yourself to the toxic and destructive ways of this world. After all, your ambitions root in a desire to better the world. So~?
Status? You don't even want this for satisfying your ego; you want this because you know if you become acknowledged, there's more you can do to affect/roll out powerful changes in the world. Power? This is necessary to balance out the power of the psychos who are ruining this Planet. Legacy? That's the only thing that matters after you've gone kaput. You want your life's story to become a study material for others.
All in all, this all speaks a meaningful Life. Your desires do truly come from a good heart.
Small advice for...?🔻💛Happy Holidays; full post is open for public reading~!🎄

Sorry if this is hard to understand, english is not my first language
Ever since that first ask about the future hexquad Ive been thinking about what would Amity like to do in the future, and you know what Ive settled on?
I kinda feel like her passion would be being the best housewife she can be, like, it feels weird to say because girl is so strong and smart she can do anything, but what if what she wants is making sure her family is well fed and looked after?
Girl is so nurturing towards Luz and protective of Willow, she bakes Luz a pie as a welcome back gift, she reads books to kids in her free time, she is in her element when she can actively help someone (words of confort were not enough she got up and got a plan to get flowers for luz's dad in Reaching out) so if she gets a family you bet thats her top priority and joy
Like yes, i can see her working alonside Alador with inventions, and also a pro brawl fighter, and a book shop owner (all of them at the same time even) but if you ask her she goes all Izumi Curtis "im a housewife!"
And as a bonus, it also would be a very F you to Odalia who didnt value her family happiness at all to have her star daughter biggest ambition be precisely to have a happy family
Anyway thats all, cheers
The SECOND I read that this was an Amity ask and I saw the word "housewife" my immediate thought was an Izumi Curtis type. Like YEAH that's exactly it. She's one of the most powerful witches on the Isles but she is far likelier to describe herself as simply Luz's wife. It's a drastic leap from how she used to feel the need to establish herself as a talented witch, and top student, out of insecurity. But now she's matured significantly and made her journey with self esteem and self acceptance so she no longer needs to. Amity defines herself by those she loves and who love her in return.
This makes a lot of sense and I really love this take. Obviously young girls should be encouraged to be ambitious towards their future careers but there's also such a stigma around them choosing to be homemakers and mothers, especially if the girls in question are overachievers who have so many options laid out for them. Like this inherent belief that being a housewife is simply for girls who are unable to be anything else.
It's such a nice idea for a girl like Amity, who's been preened since birth for the most successful and esteemed future. She's always had such high expectations placed on her shoulders to climb the ladder and be the best of the best. So honestly, her choosing a life for herself that has nothing to do with financial success or monetizing the magical expertise that Odalia pressured her into developing is empowering as fuck. She just does what makes her happy.
Because yeah, this poor girl was starved of familial love all her life. It would totally be within her right to devote herself to building a warm, loving and stable home that she can call her own. With her wife and maybe kids too, if she chooses to have them. I feel like I can see her having them. Amity adores kids after all.
All the above examples mentioned of how Amity would be in her element with this role, but also. The beginning of Eclipse Lake where she's bustling around the Owl House with a clipboard, giving orders and making sure everyone is carrying out their tasks. Peak mom behavior. She's so organised and on top of things that I can imagine if she had kids, she'd be the fucking best at juggling their school schedules, clubs, extracurriculars, and distributing their chores equally and like. She'd run a really tight ship. Which would help a lot, since I figure Luz might struggle a bit as an adult with ADHD when it comes to keeping structure in her life and family. But this is where Amity excels! She even enjoys it! So it works out pretty well.
I do think about how Amity was raised in a mansion and probably never had to cook or clean before in her life, with the abomination servants doing everything. (I always wondered if the fairy pie is how they're SUPPOSED to look, what with the Boiling Isles being weird and all, or if its just like that because Amity can't bake.) But it's alright. She's only fourteen. She has plenty of time to learn. Luz, at the very least, has had a normal home life so Amity can definitely pick up homemaker skills from her.
And also absolutely. Really loving this idea of Amity's future revolving around caring for her loved ones but also being free to fully exercise her hobbies and passions without feeling guilty about it. She can draw and write and study abomination magic and help Alador out with his inventions when he's stumped and participate in the Bonesborough Brawl and basically just do whatever sparks joy for her.
I was initially so warped by the real world economy that I was thinking "Can she really support herself by being a homemaker?" But like?? You know what?? Amity and the other kids (who were 12-16 at the time) went to singlehandedly confront Belos while the rest of the Isle was perishing. If there's any justice in this new Boiling Isles they're gonna rebuild, then Amity will be receiving weekly financial compensation to guarantee that she will always live comfortably.

BBC Merlin Characters: Houses & Wands
Having recently re-watched Merlin early this year, and getting into the fandom once again - I took it upon myself to do sort some of my favourite characters in houses but also create them their own wands too. All of these are based on my interpretations of the characters, as well as headcanons within the fandom considering many of these characters lack proper development within the show (*couch Arthur *cough* Percival *cough*). You are of course allowed to disagree, and I would love to here your own versions too! But i hope you enjoy this!
Also, fair warning, I am completely ignoring the Harry Potter history within this, cause honestly, its a bit rubbish,
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Guinevere:
Though Ravenclaws are often depicted as wise and smart - qualities which Gwen certainly upholds of course - they are also incredibly creative and unique; underrated traits within Ravenclaws which I believe Gwen represents perfectly.
Regarding her wand, Hazel wood often chooses wielders who have deep connections with and a high awareness of ones emotions, regardless whether they are positive or negative in nature, and the power used through the wand relies heavily on the emotions of the caster. Not to mention they are incredibly loyal to a caster, as well as brilliant at producing skillful magic - which I thought did Gwen justice and represented her well. Unicorn Hair cores produce the most consistent magic, as well as being incredibly faithful.
Morgana:
Slytherin house is notable for traits such as ambition and cunningness, and even from Season 1, we are made aware of Morgana's own ambition as well as her determined nature - which perhaps gets lost in meaning of vague stubbornness. Slytherin house upholds many of the qualities Morgana has, and in my honest opinion, no other house is capable of representing her so well.
Witches and Wizards who wield wands crafted from Ebony are typically best suited for combative magic - which I believe suites Morgana's nature well, and pairs brilliantly with her as a person. Ebony wands are known for being just as determined as their casters and are never easily swayed from their cause either. Her wands core, Phoenix Feather, was an easy choice as through out the Harry Potter series it resembles magic as it changes form and ages in skill, which is probably because the core itself can take a while to show it's true nature and power - so I believed it to represent Morgana better than any other core.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Merlin:
Slytherin house is typically associated with misguided and villainous characters, which is just an incorrect notion in itself, I believe that Merlin suites many of it's other traits, particularly determination and cleverness, and given Merlin's sarcastic and sharp witted behaviour as well as his ambitious nature, I feel as if it is impossible to imagine him in any other house but Hufflepuff, given his extreme notions of loyalty and kindness, but in the end I felt as if Slytherin represented in just that much more.
Wizards who are chosen by Cedar wands are known for their strength of character and their odd loyalty. The wands themselves are just as perceptive as their wielders, and it is noted that it would be foolish to cross someone who wields these wands, especially to hurt people in which they care about: in general, it fits Merlin perfectly. Wands which contain Dragon Heartstring cores, are not only known for producing unbelievably powerful and volatile magic, but are also incredibly prone to accidents, as well as forming strong bonds with their wielders. Given Merlin's own personality and general character, his perfect wand would be one that represents his power, loyalty, and general clumsiness.
Arthur:
In a controversial turn of events, I did not sort Arthur Pendragon into Gryffindor. While he does show bravery and courage, I prefer to focus on my beloved traits of Arthur's - ones which he learnt from his subjects and friends, rather than from inherently being a noble and knight. Hufflepuff's are not only the most loyal, but they also have a strong sense of justice, dedication and hard-working tendencies. All of which Arthur should be credited more for, rather than just his courage and bravery. Even from early episodes of season 1 we are exposed to his sense of justice, as well as his dedication - not only to his family, but also to his knights and closest companion. Hufflepuff just suites Arthur's core better than any other house.
Regarding his wand, I spent quite a lot of time debating between quite a few choices, before ending up with Rowan wood and Phoenix Feather core. Rowan wands are suited best for strong willed and defensive magic, and refuse to turn towards evil. Notably, Rowan wands are at their happiest placed with those of a pure-heart, and can out-duel many. Phoenix Feather wands are hard to learn, but given time and dedication, are perfectly suited for those with powerful magic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lancelot:
The values of a Gryffindor are ones that align with Lancelot in almost perfect ways. From his chivalry to his nerve, Lancelot is just the most accurate portrayal of a Gryffindor within this show, and perhaps across a vast amount of fictional characters.
Crafting Lancelot's wand was rather easy for me, considering his clear character and personality. The wood I chose, Black Walnut, typically represents wizards with good instincts and easy to master, but it is quite attuned to inner conflicts and is unable to perform to a witch or wizard who is dishonest to themselves, and given Lancelot's tendency to exceedingly keep himself honest to his cores, I felt that it suited him the best. The core, I believe, balances it out well given that Unicorn Hair wands are typically loyal to their original owners and create stable and consistent magic.
Gwaine:
Like Lancelot, Gwaine treasures many of Gryffindor's values but at the end of the day, when it comes down to is, he is just stupidly brave and above all else, he is one of the most daring knights to ever grace Albion, nevermind Camelot.
His wand was honestly the most comical thing to create in my opinion. Dogwood wands are typically best suited for entertaining wizards, who are playful and exciting. However, it would be wrong to think that they are not capable of producing the most serious magic - as these wands can perform outstanding feats of magic, especially under tough conditions. For Gwaine's core, I chose a more exotic option, deciding upon Thunderbird Tail Feather which are powerful but incredibly difficulty to control - and i thought that this represented Gwaine well, especially given his own stubborn nature and inability to step down from a fight would explain how wands of these cores perform magic alone to protect if needs be.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Leon:
I will stand by Hufflepuff Leon until the day I literally perish. If you wanted a definition of pure and true loyalty, I would simply point you in the direction of this man. As a Hufflepuff myself, I see a lot of my own qualities in Leon, especially his dedication, hard work and loyalty - he's also quite funny, and while not an official trait, many Hufflepuff characters are known for using comedy to protect oneself from something - in Leon's case, "poetry".
I struggled immensely to craft Leon's wand, and it certainly took a lot of effort it find the perfect wood and wand combination that suited his essence. In the end, I chose English Oak which is best suited for loyal wizards who's core is made from strength, courage and fidelity. People who use these wands typically have powerful intuition too. For the core, I believed for a loyal wood to be used at it's highest, it needed a core which matched it's loyalty perfectly - so that is why i chose Unicorn Hair core for Leon.
Percival:
For Percival, I followed a similar route to that of Leon and Arthur, choosing Hufflepuff house. Percival has a strong sense of justice, and seeks it more often than not, but he also appears at most times, incredibly kind and respectful - not just for appearances sake either, but as a reflection of his true feelings towards people. Percival embodies truth and honest, Hufflepuff traits often hidden by their loyalty and kindness.
Pear wands are best suited for wizards who are warm-hearted and generous, and the wands themselves tend to be popular and well-respected, perhaps like the wizard who carries it. They are known for turning to the Dark Arts, and are some of the most resilient wands known to man, which I believes is a strong and noble description of Percival that is more than well deserved. Unicorn Hair core, like previously stated, is best suited for wizards of great loyalty and fidelity, and produce a steady stream of wonderful magic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elyan:
There is very little I can deduce about Elyan's character, but for a fact I know he is one of the most resourceful and determined knights, as he was long before joining those at the Round Table - and I think the fact that some of these traits he had to learn among the way is what truly embodies what it means to be a member of Slytherin House.
Wands made from Poplar are best suited for those who pride themselves on their integrity. They are consistent and strong, and often find themselves working at their best in the company of those with clear morals and determination to follow them - which is why I believed it to suite Elyan best compared to any other wand wood. The unicorn hair core paired well with this, especially if the wizard in question usually has good morals, and a tendency to seek justice.
Mordred:
Mordred is incredibly complex and difficult to decipher - he has skills which align to multiple houses, but in the end I felt more comfortable placing him in Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw's like Mordred pride themselves on their originality, independence as well as their tendency for being analytical. However, Mordred aligns best with Ravenclaws in this manner as these are the times in which Ravenclaws are described for overlooking specific senses of humanity whilst gathering a detailed picture - which on the end is why I placed him in Ravenclaw.
In regards to his wand though, I chose Red Oak for the wood of the wand given the fact that it works best for wizards who are quick-witted, and adaptable but also with a hot-temper - they are also great for spell creation, and given Mordred's core traits, i felt that this suited him well. The core to his wand, however, is another rarer core; Augurey Tail Feather. The core is best for those who are often misunderstood, wise, ready-minded, free-spirited, and reclusive. These wands have an affinity for divination to. So all in all, I felt this combination would make a perfect wand for Mordred.

Hi<3 What do you think about libra sun trine aquarius neptune & pluto in 10H?
Hi! This is just my own interpretation of how these placements might manifest in life. I'll divide this up into parts and then look at it all together so take it with a grain of salt and let me know if any of it resonates with you! Also sorry for any typos!
Side note I'm so sorry it took me so long to get to this I also apologize to the other people who have sent me asks as well. I will get to them I promise I'm just a little slow!
Libra Sun:
charming and social
indecisive
avoid confrontation
interest in society
Aquarius Neptune:
artistic and creative
independence is valued highly (not a fan of group work)
mind is always turning (potential to be scatter brained)
self-centered
humanitarian
Sun trine Neptune:
extremely imaginative
dreamy and likes things that give dreamy vibes (can avoid reality)
sensitive and caring
perceptive
artistically gifted (could be taken for granted)
Okay so how I think these placements would come together in someone's life would be someone who is social and caring, but sometimes isn't the biggest team player. I wont dive too much into Libra Sun because we all pretty much hear about our sun signs all the times. So Libra suns have the stereotype of being fake and people pleasers, but that's because they ultimately crave harmony so they might avoid confrontation to the point where it might rub others the wrong way and make others think they're not being genuine. And to an extent they're right but a libra sun might not necessarily have that intention they just really value fairness so they'll do anything to maintain that.
Now with Aquarius Neptune their minds are always turning. They are extremely creative and innovative. This doesn't necessarily mean that they are gonna be the most innovative people in the world (they can be though) but they are the people that think outside the box. Think of it this way they're the type that on a math exam solved the problem and got the correct answer, but didn't solve the problem the way the teacher taught. They view things from a different perspective. They're also the ones that would get angry when the teacher wouldn't give them full points for the question because they didn't solve it the way they were taught. They value independence and freedom not just physically, but mentally and emotionally (they might even value mental freedom more highly than the other two). They are not fans of when people try to contain or dismiss their thoughts. In all honesty one of their biggest pet peeves could potentially be when people try to change their opinions or guide their thoughts or even tell them their way of approaching things is wrong. Due to them also be out of the box thinkers they might not be the best in a group setting because they themselves understand perfectly what they want to do, but don't necessarily know how to explain their thought process to others because it's just inherent to them. This could cause some to be (or viewed by others as) a bit self-centered because they view their thoughts and ideas as the best.
Combine these two in a trine and you might get someone who is very social and extremely perceptive of their surroundings, but gets bored quickly (maybe even frustrated) with reality or mundane aspects of life. These people are extremely compassionate to the point where they want to believe everyone is like them which sadly isn't the case. Because of their great capacity for compassion and sensitivity they have very set in place morals that they abide by. These morals aren't necessarily extreme it could be as small as smile at one person every day or pick up a piece of trash. They have such a great imagination and an immense ability to be creative that they often are not the biggest fans of reality and would much rather live in scenarios they've created in their heads. Or this could also present itself as idealizing life too much and refusing to see anything bad. Think of the quote viewing the world through rose colored glasses. They can also be gifted in forms of artistic expression whether it be art, literature, music or anything that leans more to the creative mind. But this could potentially be taken for granted because it comes so naturally to them so they may not truly utilize it. If they don't have a means of channeling their artistic abilities they may begin to feel a bit defeated and might surrender their imagination and believe it best for all their creativity to stay in their minds where they may want to join them.
Pluto in 10th House:
a want for legacy and success
focused and determined
ambitious
obsessed with career/public image
power hungry (if poorly aspected)
When looking into Pluto in the 10th house the most common thing I kept running across was ambition, passion and focus. I feel like there is always a negative connotation whenever people talk about Pluto and where it lands in someone's chart which I think is a bit unfair. I mostly saw things talking about how this is a power hungry and manipulative placement, and these people could become obsessed with status and will do anything to get it, but many come to these conclusions based off those three traits I mentioned previously. Of course if you let your ambition and passion consume you or focus too much on one thing it can lead you down a dark path but that honestly happens with anything. Too much of anything isn't good. When you really look at it ambition, passion, and focus are some of the best traits to have as long as you don't let them control you.
So instead of looking at this aspect in a negative way I want to view it in a more positive light. This placement makes someone want to leave a lasting impression. They want to truly succeed in their life and show others that they can truly accomplish whatever they want. Because they are so focused and determined they are hard workers. Since they themselves know what they want and how important it is to achieve their goals they know they know the value of work and if they're putting that work they expect that from others. They are definitely not the ones to complain to about not accomplishing goals if you didn't go after them 110% because they will not understand you and you will get no sympathy from them (you might potentially irritate them). Of course there is a possibility for this placement to turn sour but remember that is a possibility with ANY placement.
Okay that's all for this one! Every time I try to keep my posts short and sweet it always backfires on me so sorry for another LONG post. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this and i hope some part of it resonated with you even in the slightest. Again this is only a small part of a bigger picture so take it with a grain of salt!
Have a lovely day everyone!
- S 🤍

Basic descriptions of the houses
1st house - aries - mars - angular
The sign this house begins in is the ascendant/rising. It represents the image we wish to project, and the very first impression people get of us. It also represents new beginnings and speaks on how we approach unfamiliar settings.
2nd house - taurus - venus - succedent
The 2nd house represents matters concerning material and physical possessions/environments. This includes anything pertaining to the senses, money, possessions. It’s also, to some degree, work-related, and represents your work-ethic, personal habits, income and how you prioritise tasks.
3rd house - gemini - mercury - cadent
3rd is all about communication in all its forms. How you conceptualise things and express them, the way you speak to others and, to some degree, the way you interact online. It also covers both personal and community-based relations and how you exist and communicate yourself within them.
4th house - cancer - moon - angular
The sign this house begins in is the IC or imum coeli. This placement is at the very bottom of the chart and represents your “roots”. This includes home affairs, sentimentality, your private self, and where you find comfort. 4th also pertains to family affairs, and speaks on both your relationship with your parents and your own parenting abilities. This particularly pertains to motherhood - both your mother and your more “mothering” behaviours i.e. how you nurture and care for others.
5th house - leo - sun - succedent
The 5th house is all about self-expression. This includes creatively - artistry, drama, music - and also romance and sex, but particularly of a non-commital nature. 5th is not about commitment or relationships or anything so heavy, it’s about fun and games and exploring yourself and others and finding joy within that.
6th house - virgo - mercury - cadent
6th house governs health and service. This includes work, to some degree, as it speaks on how you aim to be of service to others, and what you do to help those around you. This also includes organisation and routine, and self-care in a very functional “fitness” sort of sense.
7th house - libra - venus - angular
7th is the house of personal relationships of all kinds. It focuses specifically on partnerships and contracts over wider social interactions and this includes emotional connections - platonic or romantic, and business relations.
8th house - scorpio - pluto - succedent
The 8th house is commonly misunderstood as being a matter of darkness when, in reality, it is better to consider it as a matter of depth. The overarching theme of this house is change and transformation and connection on the very deepest levels. This includes birth, death, sex, the merging of energies to become one, the loss of old and creation of new. It is important to note that the 8th house is less about how one actually experiences these things personally, but how one conceptualises and deals with the occurrence of such events around them. It’s a house full of intensity and it can feel heavy at times. Certainly, its energy is easy to get swept up in if not dealt with correctly, and it can create unhealthy behaviours, but it is not inherently bad. The 8th house also rules the property of others such as investments, real estate and inheritance.
9th house - sagittarius - jupiter - cadent
The 9th house governs expansion in the broadest of senses. This includes travel, education, spiritual practices and the pursuit of enlightenment, luck, risks, morals and ethics, creativity and optimism. The 9th house wants to see all of the world and absorb it like a sponge. It represents where our natural curiosities lead us and how we seek to improve ourselves.
10th house - capricorn - saturn - angular
Where 9th expands, 10th restricts. This house is all about control and restriction. It represents where we seek structure in our lives, the sorts of rules and traditions we might adhere to and the metaphorical lines we fear overstepping. This authoritative characteristic is also linked to fatherhood and thus 10th has familial ties, specifically your relationship with your father and your own more typically “fatherly” traits. The sign this house begins in is also known as the MC or midheaven and at the peak of your chart it represents the most public part of yourself, your public image, what you might project to someone on-sight or online. The 10th house is also very ambitious in nature, and shows the goals we wish to achieve and where our ambitions lie.
11th house - aquarius - uranus - succedent
The 11th house speaks on socialising on a wider, societal scale. It pertains to group interactions and friendships in a broader sense. It also represents our views on society as a whole, political viewpoints, activism, rebellion, the causes we support and the social change we wish to see. Uniqueness and originality are also especially important to this house, and it shows where and how we aim to differentiate ourselves from those around us. 11th is also concerned with creativity in a very intellectual sense. Science, invention and innovation, futuristic concepts and intellectual growth.
12th house - pisces - neptune - cadent
As the final house, 12th represents endings, but also completion. While it represents concepts such as old-age, death, the end of projects or of entire stages of life, it also represents the unconscious mind, spirituality and a sense of fulfillment, of moving on to the next adventure, whatever that may be. 12th mostly exists within our subconscious, dreams and imagination are governed by this house. The arts, psychology, anything that appeals to the mind on a more subjective level can be found here. 12th can certainly be a dark place, especially when it makes that darkness feel welcoming and comfortable, it’s easy to lose touch with reality and end up getting pulled to extremes when the 12th house is concerned, but in moderation it can also provide a sense of ease and acceptance for difficult life events. Where other houses might show where we try to take action, the 12th house sees the world for what it is, the good and the bad, and simply shows us how to find comfort within the balance.

Kim Taehyung Nakshatra
Kim Taehyung and his Nakshatra analysis.
I got this really cool request about Kim Taehyung and him potentially being a Vishaka rising, and I really wanted to analyze it. So here is what I came up with, hope you guys enjoy this as much as I enjoyed poking about.
Let me make it clear right off the bat, that since I’m not a professional astrologer, some things may not match up, further since we’re not super sure of his birth time, it’ll definitely affect the reading. What I can be sure of is that I’ll do my best and I’m completely open to constructive criticism from you all!
Now lets get on with some basic stuff, for those who have not yet read the post with Namjoon’s moon analysis, I’ll again reiterate some principles of Vedic astrology! In the scenario that you’re still confused with all this jargon, feel free to reach out and I’ll be more than happy to help you out.
Starting out, we have to note that while western astrology is usually more advisory in nature, Vedic astrology’s main purpose is to predict. Also, we usually go a sign back from western astrology in Vedic astrology, so according to that for example, if you’re a libra rising, you become a virgo rising in Vedic astrology and so on and so forth. All planets will also shift back a sign, so a Capricorn Mercury will become a Sagittarius Mercury.
Since this is the first ‘only nakshatra analysis’ concerned posts on this blog, ill pre-explain some other facets of Nakshatras too. For those of you who don’t understand it still, you can refer to my post dedicated to explaining what nakshataras are through the master-list.
Now a person may display qualities other than that of their ascendant nakshatra, or moon or sun, because sometimes people have stellium or maybe an exalted planet or maybe a really strong planet in another Nakshatra, or maybe a lone planet in a certain Nakshatra is aspecting the lagna or even a stellium, that would all alter the degree to which the nakshatra would individually affect the person. So for this analysis, we will check the ascendant only, and other than that, we’ll check any aspects and lastly the nakshatra lord, and the dispositers.
So for this reading, we’ve taken the birth time as 4:15am on 30th December 1995, and birthplace is set to daegu, south korea (even if this isn’t where he’s born, rest assured since south korea is fairly small, it wont matter much).
Now on with the actual reading part-
So his ascendant is at 29’37 degrees in libra in the Nakshatra of Vishaka, within the third quadrant, where quadrant ruler is Mercury through Gemini. Vishaka’s ruler jupiter is in the third house, conjunct sun and mars in sagittarius, (i.e mooltrikon for jupiter). Jupiter itself sits in mula nakshatra and within the second quadrant of this.
Now onto the really cool stuff, since this stuff is being introduced for the first time, i’ll create a proper post explaining it, post it before this so you guys can check that out too. So keep cross checking it, otherwise i'll have to add it before each Nakshatra analysis.
His nakshatra here is vishaka, misra in nature, caste is mlechh, guna is sattwic, gana is rakshasa, purpose is dharma, deities are Indra and Agni, element is fire, gender is female, animal is tiger, Nadi is kappha and sign is libra.
So now getting on with the actual interpretation of the Vedic jargon above is here-
Firstly, lets get started with the main Nakshatra here, Vishaka. This falls between libra and scorpio, with the first 3 quadrants in libra and the last one in scorpio. Vishaka is represented by two forked branches, reprinting the constant inner battle inside the natives. They may appear very orthodox at times, very stubborn and fixed in their views and traditions, however such people are also extremely progressive and accepting. Due to this weird polarization, some natives have extreme trouble putting forth their views on many subjects here, and tend to observe others for a long time before making up their minds about something. Since the sign is inherently ruled by fire, such people are extremely intense and intimidating to others and love being in the spotlight while being surrounded by loved ones. However due to this intense nature and love for the spotlight, these people have a hard time maintaining friendships. Jupiter is their ruling planet, and you can see that influence in them, too. They are some of the most unconventionally intelligent people you will meet. Add to that their beliefs of spirituality and non-violence, and you’ve got the perfect person, however They are prone to addictions like drugs and alcohol, and they are also overly self-conscious. Instead of enjoying what they have, they will always concentrate on what they lack, therefore being called ‘the star of purpose’, for they’re always searching for a new purpose.
It is often believed that the lover of lord Krishna, Radha was born under this nakshatra. Thus it is believed, such natives have immense charm and beauty, while being innately pure within. They have people falling for them one after another, but once they find someone or something they like, they’ll remain devoted to it. Such people have a ‘Je ne sais quoi’ about them, one can’t very well point it out, but something so magnetic is present. They’re often said to be in direct connect with the divine (lord Krishna was after all a god), and are blessed by god for good fortune.
The native of this nakshatra might be interested in astrology and art.The natives of this nakshatra are good-natured and likes fair-judgement. They have a interest in religion and love the religious rituals too. They speak softly and due to which they easily impress others. They usually don’t speak harshly. Due to the effect of Jupiter they are always ready to learn and teach others. They are ambitious and don’t believe in following the societal rules. They work hard to achieve their ambitions and due to which they receive success also. The natives are wealthy, powerful and have an impressive nature and therefore people get easily impressed by them. The person is compassionate and confluence of ethics, rites and good qualities in the person. Due to the combination of all these qualities the native becomes financially sound also. The native believes in saving money due to which they never face financial crisis. They can influence others with their word. However on the flip side, They like showing off and are a bit arrogant by nature. Vishakha nakshatra is the nakshatra of Jupiter, that is why they have a mild behavior. But they are short tempered also. According to their behavior they are always ready to fight with others. (see how jin and tae, and vmin always fight, in-fact he was named as one of the members most likely to pick a fight)
Something I found very interesting is how Taehyung’s ascendant falls in the 3rd pada or quadrant of Vishaka, which corresponds to the sound ‘Te’ as in pronunciation wise ‘Tae’, and being named taehyung is thus extremely auspicious for him. This is rare among people unaware of Vedic traditions, and no wonder it has worked so well for his fortune and luck.
Now Jupiter through vishaka Rules Lower Abdomen, Bladder parts, kidneys, pancreatic glands, Genitals, Rectum, Prostate Gland, Descending colon. Thus the natives are prone to nose bleeding, renal stone, dropsy, rupture, prostate enlargement, fibroid tumor, urinary trouble.
Now he’s born under the third quadrant. These natives are light-hearted and curious. They enjoy learning and acquiring knowledge on diverse topics. However they may be afflicted by anxiety and often struggle with conflicting emotions regarding work and love, material and spiritual realms and so much more (remember that gemini is two faced, and vishaka itself is branched). Since it falls under gemini, such people are social butterflies, amicable, smart and communicative.Due to their warm and altruistic personality, they can easily make friends with others. Their diversity of personal interests also helps them to form friendships with a wide variety of people. Thus they have no issue maintaining an active and vibrant social life. They are extremely wise for their age and have a natural insight into the workings of the world and of human nature. They are truthful and devout, and are naturally-inclined toward spirituality. They bring energy and enthusiasm to whatever tasks they undertake.
Now we’ll brush over the nakshatra lord quickly, and then move back into really fun nakshatra stuff.
Jupiter as ruler of vishaka is in the 3rd house, conjunct sun and mars, with no aspects. The natives are good planners (3rd house is short distant journeys). Besides, they are highly curious and enjoy making connections with others. They feel happy to share ideas. They are able to see the larger picture and often turn to others for advice and suggestions.  Also, they easily put the people at ease in social situations and have higher mental capabilities. They can become intuitive as Jupiter will expand their mental power, so they can even grasp new information quickly and comprehend things effortlessly. The placement of Jupiter in the 3rd house will also help the natives in education. The natives are likely to excel in writing and literary fields( his degree is in communications and broadcasting I believe). Since this is also the house of younger siblings, people have great relationships with their siblings here.Since the 3rd house is also a upachaya sthana (house of growth) the native will have good growth of career and wealth, and with its aspect on the 7th house, marital bliss is also guaranteed. Aspects on the 11th and 9th houses promise a powerful social circle, and gains through foreign land as well as fame.
However, despite all these great results from sitting in its mooltrikon, Jupiter is still afflicted by sun and mars. Such people with age (upachaya house moves with age) speak less and less because they think twice before they speak and choose their words very carefully. With this conjunction of 3 masculine friendly planets thus when together in a house, makes people highly influential. The native tends to enjoy a good financial and social status. This conjunction is often found in the horoscope of influential and high-ranking individuals such as politicians. When Sun, Mars and Jupiter are housed together in a horoscope, the native earns a lot of wealth, fame, and respect in life. Such people live a prosperous life for the most part and do not have to work hard to make it big, as they have unpaid karma they receive in this lifetime. Moreover, these natives tend to be very loyal and straightforward.
Now onto dissecting the nakshatra even more, let's get into the characteristics of vishaka.
Being of Misra nature, they are of an extremely fiery temperament, are actually prone to being pyromaniacs too. I have noticed that such people also have great metabolisms. They are quiet in large crowds, and prefer one to one conversations and are also extremely philanthropic. Great organizers, extremely interested in art and technology, and absolutely brilliant at getting rid of bad habits (fire purifies).
Vishakha is a monstrous nakshatra. People in this group are generally intuitive, strong-willed, and assertive. They may be prone to anger and violence. However Libra natives possess excellent taste and good judgement. They are friendly, learned, and dignified, but may be prone to arrogance as persons born under the star of Vishakha have a wide sphere of influence. For this reason, they do well in social and political arenas. It is said that that the natives under vishaka have vyapana shakti, or the power to “Achieve and Make Manifest, Power to Achieve many and various Fruits of Life” (remember how he always talks to his angels?)
Now he’s a mleccha caste, which according to Vedic traditions means an outsider or an outcaste (as these people did not follow societal rules, or fit into the Vedic practices as they were of foreign origin). This could honestly be why we talk about his 4D personality, because of the caste. He has an unconventional way of doing things and thinking, which don’t fit into the broader spectrum due to this. Also we can see that it follows the dharma nakshatra, so he is inherently concerned with principles, morals, duty and finding his life’s purpose. This can make his very spiritually inclined and intuitive, also very restless and prone to depression. Now coming to his dosa of kaphha, (the Water quality). This makes a native very philosophical, calm and patient, sometimes so much so that other’s perceive them as lazy, and simply ‘lucky’. With his sattwa qualities here, with Jupiter, a rajas planet, he can often has a duality between rajas qualities with fiery temperament and passion for everything and then an extremely calm and cool quality of sattwa, where one is not concerned about the consequences of their actions and are concerned with being in the moment.
The yoni of the nakshatra is a male tiger (tae tae?). This means the natives have attributes similar to those of tigers.Tigers are handsome and powerful people with an innate self-confidence and elegance. There's a sense of immediacy and an aura of electricity that surrounds it, and when it walks into a room, it feels like something is about to happen. Once a tiger has found its groove, it will focus on its goal with a brightly burning intensity. In social situations, the tiger is an excellent host and there is no such thing as a casual party in its home. Guests can always expect a memorable occasion with an extravagance of food and drink, and yet, there is a distinct coldness to its den. Having sacrificed comfort for style, the tiger outfits its house with austere and modern furniture, and comfortably worn easy chairs are replaced every few years. But their emotional detachment should not be confused with a desire to avoid tenderness; for intimacy is the tiger's greatest sensual tool. Offering its lover some deeply held secrets adds another dimension to both platonic and romantic relationships for a tiger. They are fiercely independent and always on the move, so it can be quite hard to discern such people.
And lastly coming to the deities of the nakshatra, the two deities, Indra (Lord of Lightning) and Agni (Lord of Fire), are known to rule this nakshatra. Hence, Vishakha witnesses the relay of characteristics of both of these ruling deities. Since both of these deities exhibit some characteristics which are not in accordance with the other, Vishakha becomes a mixture of different kinds of characteristics. Lightening tends to have similar impact with the forcefulness of the light, and the destructive power to do what it sets out to do. The energy of Agni however, is more cleansing. Agni is the God which takes our oblations offered to the Gods to them. It is the energy that gives us the opportunity to cook food and nourish ourselves. It creates ashes from all that is offered making it pure and able to clean any impurities. The natives can have a lot to do with justice, social righteousness and causes. There could be a lot of intensity here especially to do the right thing and a lot of righteous principle because of these two deities.
Finally, a shortened version of Vedic tradition story associated with the nakshatra-
Indra, according to Vedic Mythology, is known to be very goal-oriented, and who is often insecure about losing his throne to someone else. In an attempt to keep his throne intact he commits many deeds that can be bad karmas according to Vedic Astrology. For example, Indra once tried to kill the pregnant wife of demon Hiranyakshipu in order to stop him from worshipping Lord Brahma and getting great powers as a result of his worship. Indra feared that Hiranyakshipu will gain powers and then attack the heavens and remove him from his throne and in order to save his throne he tried to disturb the worship of Hiranyakshipu by every possible means. Though he did not succeed due to the intervention of DevRishi (Sage) Naarad who was able to influence the higher Gods to stop Indra from committing such a heinous deed. This goal oriented nature of Indra is relayed through Vishakha and accordingly the natives under the strong influence of this nakshatra are very fixated on their goals and they are always in a danger of engaging in bad karmas in order to achieve their goals.
Indra is also known for his deep interests in drinking, women and enjoying other pleasures and these qualities of Indra are also relayed through this nakshatra and accordingly the natives under the strong influence of this nakshatra are likely to be fond of materialistic pleasures of all kinds. Agni on the other hand is seen as the ruling deity of Fire according to Vedic mythology and he is portrayed as the one with a good character. The influence of Agni on Vishakha brings sufficient energy to this nakshatra which can help the natives achieve their goals.
An incident is quoted in Vedic mythology where a demon prayed to god Agni to protect him and then after assurance from Agni, he started worshipping lord Brahma for gaining powers. Indra, seeing it as a threat to his power came to kill the demon but Agni who had promised the demon to save him, came in the way and fought Indra and prevented him from killing the demon. It should be noted that Agni fought with Indra in order to practice the right deeds despite the fact that Indra was his king. So the influence of Agni on this nakshatra brings positive qualities of Agni and how a particular native under the influence of Vishakha will behave is very much dependent on which of these two ruling deities is controlling Vishakha in his horoscope.
Anyway, this was my analysis of the nakshatra, hope you guys enjoyed it! Let me know about other stuff too, and ill be more than happy to help!

Lokius Hogwarts AU
All right my dudes, hot take time:
I’ve seen a lot of Hogwarts AU headcanons floating around, and having thought waaaaaay too much about it, I’m here to add my two cents.
( @sortinghatchats has my favorite sorting system I’ve seen to date, since it goes so much in depth into themes throughout the HP series that good ol’ JK barely touches on in her pretty surface level commentary on the subject, so that’s the system I’m gonna use. Go to their blog to learn more about the way the system works bc I’m too lazy to go more in depth than I already have.)
This is gonna be Hella Long tho so I’m putting it under a cut.
Loki: Petrified Slytherin Primary/Slytherin Secondary - sorting: Slytherin House
Perhaps it may seem trite, but Loki really is a Slytherin Primary at heart. Yes he is ambitious and all that stereotypical stuff, but that’s not really what makes a Slytherin a Slytherin. Anyone can be ambitious. No, he’s a Slytherin because he unapologetically prioritizes himself and the people he cares about above all else.
“Slytherin Primaries are fiercely loyal to the people they care for most. Slytherin is the place where “you’ll make your real friends”– they prioritize individual loyalties and find their moral core in protecting and caring for the people they are closest to. Slytherin’s reputation for ambition comes from the visibility of this promotion of the self and their important people– ambition is something you can find in all four Houses; Slytherin’s is just the one that looks most obviously selfish.”
However, Loki’s trauma has pushed him to something this system calls Petrifying.
“Whether through death, betrayal, abandonment (from either side), or through never having had any to begin with, the Petrified Slytherin has decided that having important people is too dangerous. Having those strong ties leaves you open to pain and weakness, and the pleasure of those connections aren’t worth the despair that comes from their seemingly inevitable loss. In this way, they close themselves off to meaningful connections out of what is ultimately fear (though from the inside, it’s far more likely to be experienced as a rational, sensible decision given the circumstances of the world), and gives them a stony exterior that seems impenetrable, resolute, and cold.”
Loki wants love and acceptance so badly, but he is convinced that the kind of attachments and relationships that that comes from are far too dangerous and the risk isn’t worth the reward. He pushes people away, hides behind a mask of self-aggrandizement, and betrays others before they can betray him in an attempt to protect himself from potential pain.
In the series, however, we see him slowly unpetrify and move towards a more healthy style of attachment because of Mobius and Sylvie’s influence on him. Whereas his circle of priorities used to include only himself (and arguably Frigga and later, Thor, in the movie timeline), he proverbially “thaws” enough to let Mobius and Sylvie in, and tragically, because of that, the loss of them hurts him so deeply because by the end of season 1, they’re all he had.
His Slytherin Secondary, however, is obvious in his methodology. He’s the god of chaos. He loves improvisation, and plans only exist as long as another better idea doesn’t come along and usurp it. He’ll change and adapt (quite literally) to best fit the situation in front of him, and he takes joy in that. But beneath all the running and his many personas, he has his “neutral state” that he lets only a precious few see. Mobius gets to see it, and so does Sylvie, and as he progresses through the series, he starts to be more comfortable existing in that state where he’s no longer hiding behind everything he feels like the world expects him to be and he can just be himself.
Mobius: Slytherin Primary (Hufflepuff Model)/Hufflepuff Secondary - sorting: Slytherin House
People like to put Mobius in Hufflepuff, but honestly? I don’t think that’s where he’d be most comfortable. Yes, he is kind and caring to basically everyone, and we see this over and over again in the series. The man radiates comfort. However, like it says in Inky and Kat’s description of the Slytherin Primary,
“Wanting to help someone doesn’t mean you’re loyal to them. Wanting to help them at the expense of your comforts, your values, your commitments and sometimes even yourself–that does.”
Mobius is kind to a fault. But he is not kind at the expense of himself. Not to everyone at least. He is kind to the child in France, but he is not kind to the point of saving him from the resetting of the timeline, and he doesn’t feel guilty about that. He believes in a duty of care, but he does not believe he has any obligation to go beyond what he thinks that duty of care is. He unapologetically plays favorites, and this is mentioned on multiple occasions. Above all else, Mobius values loyalty as a virtue. Sure, he cares about the TVA and its accompanying morality, and he genuinely does believe it’s his duty to care about and be kind to others. He seems to vibe quite well with the Hufflepuff ideal of caring about people simply because they are people, but this is all secondary to his personal loyalties when push comes to shove. For Mobius,
“dropping that model in order to stand by someone you love, or in order to protect yourself, doesn’t feel like a failing. Sticking to that modelled morality at the expense of betraying or abandoning one of their own would make a Slytherin feel guilty and wrong. Being able to put the things and concepts you like aside for the sake of the people who need you feels more righteous than any moral posturing.”
It’s for this very reason that Mobius gets so angry and feels so betrayed when he thinks Loki has abandoned him for Sylvie, and when Ravonna lies to him and prunes him.
“Betraying your own is the worst kind of crime. Loyalty is precious and terrible; it makes you vulnerable. It’s given sparingly, deeply, and a Slytherin will stand by their loyalties through the same death and fire that a Gryffindor would brave for the sake of doing the right thing, or a Hufflepuff to help someone in need.”
Loki is Mobius’ own. Mobius prioritizes Loki over almost everything else, sticks his neck out for him over and over again, and is willing to sacrifice his own happiness for him. He’s even willing to abandon the whole of his former ideology and prior friendships for this relationship that has become closer to him than his own self, the highest tier of trust and loyalty a Slytherin can give.
“It’s an extreme Slytherin who would let the whole world burn for the sake of a friend, but every Slytherin Primary would be at the very least tempted.”
And Mobius very nearly does exactly that. Even says the words, “burn it to the ground” when Loki asks him what he’s going to do. And he doesn’t feel bad about it. Especially after realizing what the TVA has done to him and the people he cares about. He kicks the TVA out of his circle of care, and doesn’t look back. And he does it for Loki.
Mobius’ Secondary is where people get his Hufflepuff vibes from, I think. A Hufflepuff secondary is marked by “their consistency and the integrity of their method. They’re our hard workers. They build habits and systems for themselves and accomplish things by keeping at them. They have a steadiness that can make them the lynchpin (though not usually the leader) of a community.” And that is what Mobius is. It’s why he radiates that kindness and comfort. He quietly and carefully works at and invests in the relationships in his life to the point that people almost automatically trust him, and over time he has learned how to read people and figure out what makes them tick.
He approaches new situations with a steady head and gentle hand that Loki is unused to, and it’s this approach that eases Loki into learning how to trust and rely on people. It’s an inherently Hufflepuff approach, and it’s the key to his success as an analyst for the TVA and an understanding friend for Lokis across the timelines.
Tl;dr - Application to an actual Hogwarts AU fic:
THEREFORE! There’s a compelling narrative to be had with a tiny, first-year Loki coming into Hogwarts. He comes from a pureblood family that’s very proud of their Gryffindor heritage (they don’t talk about Hela, and Loki and Thor don’t even know she exists until later in this story), and his brother had been sorted into Gryffindor a couple years prior, and Loki has heard very little other than contempt for Slytherin House and everyone in it. Loki doesn’t want to be sorted into Slytherin. He doesn’t want to deal with the disappointment and shame from his father and the sad eyes of his brother. But the sorting hat sorts him there almost immediately, and his heart sinks. He wanders over to the table miserably but determined. If he’s gonna be sorted into the “evil” house, might as well just run with it, right? Best not to get close to people though. It’s Slytherin. Who knows when someone will betray you.
Enter Mobius, the tiny muggleborn, bright eyed, bushy tailed, and having no clue about the prejudices between houses. The hat takes a hot minute sorting him, giving him the choice between Hufflepuff and Slytherin and telling him Hufflepuff would love a kindhearted and welcoming member like him. But Mobius has been eyeing the little black-haired kid who got sorted before him and is now sitting far apart from everyone, and he can’t help but feel like he needs to be this kid’s friend. And didn’t the hat just say Slytherin is where you’ll make your real friends? Friends are what Mobius cares about, so he’d like to go to Slytherin, thank you very much, so that’s where he goes, and he happily plunks himself down right next to Loki and sticks his hand out.
“I’m Mobius. What’s your name?”
Loki looks at Mobius’ hand disdainfully and doesn’t shake it, but he does answer, “Loki.”
Mobius’ eyes go wide, and he smiles. “Loki? Like after the Norse god?”
Loki nods, eyeing Mobius suspiciously. People don’t often bat an eye at his name. Not in the wizarding world, anyway.
“Wow, that’s so cool! I loved reading about Norse mythology in school and Loki was always my favorite. Names have power, you know. If you’ve got the same name, then you must be just as awesome.”
Loki has no idea what to do with this kid, but he’s immediately aware of two things:
He’s absolutely sure that this Mobius kid is in the wrong house. No way a Slytherin can be this excited without a single hint of deception in his face.
He’s going to be eaten alive by the other students if Loki doesn’t protect him. What a pain.
Loki is completely wrong on both of these points.

so I’m trying to better understand the devil spawn resume and who she is as a person so I was doing a bit of research of everything we know so far of renesmee and I came across an article in where smeyer was asked to assign Harry Potter houses to her characters and when it came to resume, smeyer said she could choose which house she wanted to be and that threw me in a loop. resume is all the houses combined? what does that mean!! maybe I’m being dramatic but that’s weird and she’s scarier than I thought. that child holds so much power.
I’m sorry, but I am laughing.
Just, you came to the completely wrong place to take the sorting hat in any way seriously. To me, the sorting hat is one of the most utterly ridiculous artifacts to come out of Harry Potter and has done untold societal damage on the wizarding world.
But to answer your ask in a somewhat serious matter, I think this says more about the sorting hat than it does Renesmee.
First, Harry’s in this boat too. The sorting hat muses over several different houses for him to pick. While Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw are discarded fairly quickly, they’re also considered for at least a second or two. Then it becomes a deliberation between Slytherin and Gryffindor.
Look at (somewhat) serious personality tests in the real world. You have Meyer’s Briggs, DISC, etc. None of them are “are you brave, wise, loyal, or cunning?” That’s not how personalities work. Well, first off, personality tests in general are a known crapshoot where your personality might be different one day to the next depending when you take the test but ignoring that look at the categories they have. It’s usually some mix of introversion/extroversion and how you interact with the world.
Bravery? What the hell is that?
All of us human beings are some mix of curiosity, bravery, loyalty, and ambition. This is what makes us people and not cardboard cut outs. And yes, the sorting hat is supposed to pick your most prominent trait, but we also see that it picks well... how you want to be perceived. You get some choice in the matter and that’s because bravery is not all a person is.
Now, let’s look at Renesmee.
Renesmee is not human, this doesn’t make her bad nor does it make her good, it simply makes her different. I would expect her mind to work very differently from a human being’s. That hat goes on her head, given it’s finetuned for an eleven-year-old human’s mind, there’s no guarantee that thing will even work. It might, in fact, explode.
So, yeah, the sorting hat might have a hard time. Especially as Renesmee at eleven is not a human at eleven, she might be a very well rounded person who (gasp) is some mixture of brave, loyal, curious, and ambitious. We don’t see Renesmee grow up much (we only get three months with her) so who knows what curiosity, ambition, bravery, and loyalty even look like in her head. I can very much see the hat going, “Alright, Renesmee, pick your poison” and let her go where she wishes. I don’t think it says anything about Renesmee’s inherent power or even inherent inhuman nature, it’s a hat, it was designed for eleven year olds, it picks the world’s weirdest categories to sort people into. The end.
If anyone’s a candidate for Default it’s certainly Renesmee, but that says more about the hat and the Hogwarts Houses than it says about her.

For anyone that missed it, Vietnam is here (spoilers: she’s an unconventional Slytherin)!
I think I discussed before that they’re all in Slytherin, and they’re in there for mostly the same reasons, although China is the only one that I think has almost 100% Slytherin qualities.
China Yao views most of his interactions through the lens of business transactions and mutual interests, and has a lot of “every person for themselves” mentality. He partners up with people (in a platonic business affair way) because both parties have something to benefit from the arrangement, not for sentimentality or loyalty. After both their needs have been fulfilled, he isn't one to stick around because of sentimentality, not unless he's really formed a bond with the other person and genuinely likes them as a friend, not just a good business partner. Yao also has ridiculously questionable morals, so it's logical that he also believes ethics > morals, whereas Gryffindors are more morally aligned. He's incredibly ambitious, partially because he views ambition and success as necessary to keep his footing in the world, but also because he just has a thirst to do better. Quite admirable, but he does shady business to achieve his success (none of it is outright illegal/wrong, but it's still very gray), and this combination puts him firmly in Slytherin to me (Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs would only choose the right, 100% moral path, and Ravenclaws don't really thirst for success/status, and instead seek knowledge above all.) Although canon depicts him as rather sunshiney, that doesn’t contradict his Slytherin qualities (nobody said Slytherins had to brood all the time), and a lot of his actions and thoughts are guided by cunning, reason, and ambition. (also realistically, I think he could tick off every single adjective on the Slytherin corner of this image, even if he doesn’t always show it. In modern day, he can afford to goof off and fool around quite a lot, but when it really comes down to it, Yao’s 100% Slytherin.)
India Also a Slytherin; he’s a fair bit more extroverted than Yao (I think they’re both pretty extroverted, but India is a true social butterfly) and his people oriented tendencies + his cheerfulness might get him sorted into Hufflepuff (at least in the one (1) sorting I’ve seen for him... 😔). However, he’s prone to gaslighting and guilt tripping and overall using emotions as tools to manipulate people to do things the way he wants, and when it comes down to it, he runs on his own agenda and... is not the most sympathetic when his plans are detrimental to others. And anyways, Slytherins can be charming and genuine when they want (biggest gripe with HP is that Slytherins are always shown as unequivocally evil and Bastards) but it’s just not their core goal/personality. I think he’s also rather quick to act on emotion sometimes and his feathers get ruffled very easily on certain subjects. He also loves attention and is at least 70% drama queen, and because he feeds off of praise/attention and values other peoples’ opinions a lot he’s Slytherin (sure he’s self-motivated as well but loves it when loads of people like him.) His egotism and how he preens under attention, flaunting his accomplishments, I think that is also kinda slytherin. India also isn’t a stickler for fairness, and hmm... I think he would pretend to be moral and righteous (a Gryffindor and Hufflepuff thing), but he never actually lives up to that standard and can do quite underhanded things to get what he wants (he doesn’t see it as underhanded but it still is). I think he can fall into periods of laziness and procrastination which is inherently a roadblock to ambition, but overall I think he’s mostly a Slytherin.
Iran Slytherin, but unlike India who might seem like a Hufflepuff, Iran might seem like a Ravenclaw (I think?). They appreciate the fine arts very much and hhh I think they appreciate a well written romance tbh (along with other literature)? And with the amount of learning/inventions/knowledge that’s come out of Persia/Iran I think they’d be very fond of learning and appreciate a great mind or a thoughtful discussion more than most. However their ultimate goal in life (? as much as a country can have a life) isn’t to collect knowledge or to learn as much as possible (although they appreciate intellect), but success (and their ambition, especially in ancient times, proves that success is what they’re chasing), and therefore that aligns them more with Slytherin. They can also be kinda ruthless in their pursuit of that and do whatever it takes, although most of the time they’re pretty amicable with others. But again, like China, they don’t really cultivate friendships for being friends alone, more like “you have something I want and I have something you want so let’s work together for a little until we both get what we desire”. They’re very friendly and mild-mannered about partnering together though, and it’s very chill to work with them, except that they see others as rather disposable and don’t really have a concept of loyalty. Also they can hold a grudge for a really, really long time, but are pretty good at not showing it for business (but they get rather tetchy when someone bugs them to make up) and I think that’s pretty Slytherin (pretend everything’s fine because it gives you the upper hand.) Additionally, they brood a lot and often blow things out of proportion when complaining dramatically. They’re very good at logicking out their next steps (instead of using instincts/relying on emotions and subjective view of others, which I think is more Gryffindor/hufflepuff) and operate based on facts and ethics, and would rather be the first to act instead of waiting for an opponent to strike a blow first (proactiveness). Anyways, their pragmatism + ambition = Slytherin, and although knowledge = Ravenclaw that’s not the thing they ultimately value.
As always, the sorting is based on this and this

My opinion (with reasons) on the REAL HOO character’s Hogwarts houses
Percy Jackson: Hufflepuff. Everyone says he’s a Slytherin because of dark Percy (Slytherin’s aren’t inherently evil), but the first line of the book immediately tells you he’s not. “I didn’t want to be a half-blood” Slytherin’s are all about ambition, that’s not Percy. You could argue for Gryffindor, but his fatal flaw is literally loyalty, everything he does it because of that.
Annabeth Chase: Slytherin. This is the real slytherin in the relationship. Everyone says Ravenclaw because she’s smart, but Ravenclaws are creative above all else. Annabeth ran away from home at age 7, became the architect of Mount freaking Olympus at age 16, and argued with a sphinx that her test wasn’t hard enough. This girl is pure ambition.
Piper Mclean: Ravenclaw. This one is more complicated. Piper always comes up with a creative solution to get out of tight spots, like in Quebec before she was very good at using her charmspeak. However, she could also be argued for Slytherin, as charmspeak has ambitious vibes. But I would have to go with Ravenclaw just based off her character.
Jason Grace: Gryffindor. I don’t even really need a reason for this. Romans wouldn’t be particularly loyal to anything other than their nation, and he’s not ambitious, all the things he did for the legion were just because that’s what they needed. He is very brave, we all know it.
Leo Valdez: Ravenclaw. Don’t even argue with me on this. Leo is the most creative person in the 7, from the part with Echo to his transforming Festus so many times. He was the only person in Cabin 7 that figured out how to catch the dragon, by using hot sauce of all things. 100% Ravenclaw.
Frank Zhang: Gryffindor. He ran headlong into battle against hundreds poisonous monsters when he’s not even a great swordfighter, he’s an archer, because Hazel was in danger and needed his help. He’s probably the bravest one out of the 7 to be honest.
Hazel Levesque: Slytherin. She already had the ability to control precious metals in the earth, but she learned magic as well just because she was told she had the aptitude for it. It took a lot out of her and she nearly got killed but she did learn how to do it and now she’s so powerful. Hazel just feels very Slytherin to me.
Reyna Ramirez-Arellano: Gryffindor. Honestly, Reyna could be literally any house. She’s crazy loyal to Rome, ambitious because she rose through the ranks to become a praetor, creative because she continuously does impossible tasks in amazing ways, like getting the Athena Parthenos to Camp Half-Blood. However, the last reason means she is also brave, plus she caught up to the 7 through the ancient lands all on her own.
Grover Underwood: Hufflepuff. This was obvious, but it fits him perfectly. He tried for so many years to find Pan, he cares about protecting the wild so much, and he kept the empathy link between him and Percy even though it might have killed him while Percy was in Tartarus.
Nico Di Angelo: Gryffindor. This one was hard, but he’s never been particularly ambitious, and he’s betrayed Percy and Camp Half-Blood a lot, so Hufflepuff is out. When the Romans attacked, he did what he could to help protect the Greeks, even though it almost made him fade out existence.

ooooo sort the south park kids by house?
Anon.... 🥺 I love you. Okay, in my opinion (bc I know most people have their own ideas about this and I’ve seen every house combo under the sun for these kids):
Kyle - Ravenclaw. My favorite speechy know-it-all nerd. Endlessly in search of knowledge and determined to self righteously impart his knowledge onto others. Usually the brains of the operation, very solution-oriented. Very easily believes in the unknown and higher powers. Wants to take the moral high ground and fight the good fight, but mostly just needs to prove he’s right. (This all corresponds to him always choosing ranged magic users in RPGs - I could elaborate on this but that’s a post for a different time)
Stan - Gryffindor. He’s brave in sort of a reckless way and will thoughtlessly put his life on the line for certain important people in his life. Will stand up to people and passionately fight for his causes. Also has a big ol’ stereotypical Gryffindor ego. (Also corresponds to him always choosing RPG hero/fighter classes)
Kenny - Hufflepuff. He embodies everything the House values: patience, equity, justice... kindness, acceptance, loyalty. Def had a hard time choosing between this and Gryffindor for him. (But here’s the thing - Mysterion is a Gryffindor and Princess Kenny is a Slytherin. He has the range!)
Cartman - Slytherin, of the worst kind. There’s no ‘but Slytherin isn’t inherently bad, it’s what you make of it!’ with him. He’s ambitious, smart when it comes to scheming and self preservation... and, of course, a giant bigot. Salazar Slytherin would love him. Voldemort would make him his right hand man. He is the worst.
Butters - Slytherin. The sorting hat would initially want to put Butters into Hufflepuff because on the surface he’d be a good fit, but I think at his core Butters has some Slytherin values, and more importantly I think he’d ask to be put in Slytherin. Idk man, he’s an enigma. (Tbh he’s almost too much of an enigma... an argument can be made to put him anywhere)
Craig - Hufflepuff. He’s patient and loyal (with those he loves), and values honesty and integrity. He always does what needs to be done. But he’d rather be a Muggle because god, Hogwarts is even worse than South Park and he just wants a decent, boring, unassuming life god damnit.
Tweek - Gryffindor. Everyone is surprised when this happens, even (especially) Tweek himself, but fact is... he’s just as recklessly brave and passionate as any other Gryffindor, it’s just hidden beneath paranoia and anxiety.
Clyde - Slytherin. The self preservation, man. And not to be like ‘all Slytherins are douches’ but, Clyde’s a douche. And, he’s not very brave, decidedly not very smart, and too much of a cocky dick to be in Hufflepuff. ... No offense to Clyde.
Jimmy - Ravenclaw. When Jimmy is interested in something, he gets invested. His passions are for comedy and journalism, not so much standard academics, but the Ravenclaw traits are there.
Token - Ravenclaw. A very standard Ravenclaw, tbh. Cool-headed and smart without needing to rub it in anyone’s face. He’s just here to learn and be good at everything.
Wendy - Gryffindor. I had a hard time deciding between that and Ravenclaw, but ultimately I think Wendy is the Hermione brand of Gryffindor, someone who uses her wits to champion causes and fight for the underdogs. It’s more important to her to make a difference in the world than it is to have knowledge just for the sake of being right.
Bebe - Slytherin, but the cool kind of Slytherin. All the ambition and cunning and leadership qualities, none of the bigotry. When Bebe wants something, she finds a way and isn’t afraid of using a little manipulation along the way.
Heidi - Ravenclaw. I think her time as Cartman’s girlfriend showed her to be a pretty standard Ravenclaw who is intelligent and thinks outside the box to solve problems (ie: her emoji analysis).
If anyone has other opinions feel free to share them! I’m not like, super attached to some of these. I could be swayed and I’ve seen a lot of sortings out there.
