Sorry for the long wait for this review. Life has been biting me in the rear lately and I’ve been unmotivated to get anything done. But I’m finally finished with this commentary and I haven’t forgotten about the “Unhappy Campers” episode that was uploaded recently. That will be done as well!

Okay, FINALLY Season 1 Episode 8 came out and about, after a year I think. Why was it taking so long?

Well, short story; professional (or personal?) reasons involving Kesha. Also, copyright issues.

Long Story? Well, as we all know, Kesha, a pretty known popstar, was voicing the role of a character Viv created for this episode named Beelzebub. As you can see from the gif I put on top, you can tell that there are some similarities there. Not just with the voice, but also appearances here and there.... which was one of the problems and reasons why Kesha didn’t wanna voice this role, at least initially since she clearly changed her mind after a year or so. If you’ve seen this episode, you’d probably know by now that Beelzebub is a party girl; she likes to drink, party, and eat junk food n stuff. And Kesha is ALL those things; party girl, likes to drink and eat. Or at least... she was like that? Thing is, she went to rehab for all those things and is recovering from it from what I’ve heard.

Not that I wanna assume anything but... creating an oc that has certain traits that the voice actor was struggling with and had to get cleaned for, not to mention that Beelzebub is a literal reference to Kesha and how she was back in the day? I don’t know what Viv’s goal was there, but doesn’t she think that might be a little insensitive?? Now, I don’t know if Kesha is sensitive about that, but she must’ve felt some type of way about it considering she wanted nothing to do with HB in the first place and had to wait almost a year to finally decide to do it.

Also, I still don’t get why this episode had to wait a year for this. Like, I get that Kesha is Vivzie’s idol and it was her dream to have her voice someone in her show, but did she really want her to voice a role so badly she wanted to put a pause on the season 1 finale and completely skip to season 2 until finally uploading it a year later? Why couldn’t she just get someone else to voice Beelzebub? Kesha didn’t even sing the song that was played in this episode, and she wrote it!! It just kinda feels like all this was for nothing. This should probably be the last time Viv EVER tries to get big-time celebrities to voice over characters in her show. Especially when it gets so complicated to the point where you have to keep certain famous youtube videos private, when animators can’t even upload animation roughs from the episode, and when you can’t tag Kesha about her association with Helluva Boss on ANY social media. Yeah . . . It’s that complicated. Hopefully, Viv will learn some kinda lesson from all of this, cuz she had to take her “Die Young” animation off YouTube because of it, which honestly sucks (mostly for her anyway). It really is messed up, especially when considering that Viv’s Die Young video was what mainly started her whole career in the first place before Hazbin. I really hope it was worth it,Viv. . . .

Anyway, let’s just jump to the review...

So episode 8 was kinda... meh. It was alright I guess, still like always, I was expecting something outta nothing. Of course, some things happened on here that I just had to complain about, and I’ll explain later. But the gist of it is that... not a lot happened in this episode. As always, the writers were just rushing things. This whole episode might as well have been a 5-minute clip after so much wasted time on some stupid song which I’ll admit is pretty catchy (gives me 2010 vibes). And also what bothers me about this whole thing was that this was about Loona.

Lemme explain; so y’all remember Ozzie’s right? That whole thing with Blitzo spying on M&M and bringing Stolas along just to get in the club? Yeah, that episode. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but that was supposed to be a Part 1 before episode 8 before Viv decided at the last minute to change that. At the end of episode 7, Blitzo pushed Stolas away after dropping him off. He went home and was scrolling through pictures and started to cry after seeing a picture of him, his sister, and mother. I was expecting this whole episode to be about just Blitzo and what he got going on, similar to Stolas and his episode in the second season. Like maybe a flashback of his past or something with the people that was a part of his life and left at some point over what he did. We have yet to know what happened between him and Fizzarolli that ended their friendship. Or what about his sister?? Cuz apparently, she doesn’t like Blitzo either and is holding a grudge about something. With Verosika, well we already know the two dated and why they broke up sorta, but I still feel like we have yet to explore the relationship they had. Like, how the hell did a scrawny little imp like Blitzo get with such a baddie like Verosika??? What was their relationship like?

So yeah, I just feel like this episode could’ve given us a whole other different plot. If anything, the story in this episode could’ve been saved for another. Not that there was any plot to tell anyway, especially when it’s 15-minutes long and rushed as hell.

It’s literally just Loona at a party...

In episode 7 S1, Blitzo got a text from Loona saying Vortex invited her to a party and that’s where we are. The whole time, she’s having difficulties socializing with folks and is very awkward. Plus we have our new character, Beelzebub to lighten everybody’s mood. She’s also Vortex’s girlfriend, but I’ll get into that in a little bit. Also, after a while, Blitzo comes by to pick her up initially but later joins the party with Loona.

Let’s just get started....

-- Hold up, so no disclaimer of “This is for adults! You have been warned!” warning?? We’re just gonna jump straight into the episode? I’m not sure whether they forgot about that part or if they just don’t care anymore, but to me, it feels rather off. Especially since they’ve been doing it since the first episode of season 1. If you’re wanting to go all out with the r-rating anyway, it would still be best for you to put that disclaimer every time before you start the episode, especially when folks of a younger age are watching it for the first time and don’t like to be caught off guard with anything vulgar.

-- I couldn’t tell if Loona just hung up on Blitzo or just left him on read when he tried to call her. Regardless, she didn’t answer the phone while knowing fully well he’s trying to call her and its pretty rude. I know I’m being nitpicky about this part, but as someone who has parents who’d get onto you a little for not answering the phone sooner and not calling back immediately after finding out you missed the call, it can get a little triggering.

-- The hellhounds in this party don’t even look like actual hellhounds; just over a hundred different breeds of dogs with red eyes. If anything, Loona and Vortex look more like hellhounds.

-- Is it just me, or does the animation and clean-up here feel . . . . off? I mean- Look at the outlines!!

Do you see how different the outlines are in size in each different scene??? They’re thick in one part, totally thin in another, but right back to thick again, and so on. Honestly, the more I notice it, the more irritable it is. I get that there are hundreds of animators working in this show, they like to animate their way, and I’m no animator myself (not yet), but would it kill y’all to stay consistent with the clean-ups here? Why can’t you stick to the same brush size while outlining?

-- While we’re on that topic, Loona’s character model looks much more off than the outlining. I’m not sure how I can explain it, I don’t critique art or character designs often (ironic cuz I draw a lot, lol), but Loona has been drawn so stiff and thick lately. . . . . I dunno. It just doesn’t look the same. You might see what I mean if you just look at the pictures above. Once again, it just seems like the animators and artist cannot stay consistent with the animation and character appearances.

-- Loona butts in on a conversation with a couple of people she apparently doesn't get along with. I get that she's trying to socialize, but why, out of everyone in this party, did you choose to talk to someone who takes embarrassing photos of you and talks shit??

-- So this poodle hellhound took a photo of Loona throwing up that one time at a party she participated in. A party before this one of course. But last I checked, it was implied in ep 3 season 1 that Loona had never been to a party before and the one that Tex invited her to (the one in the episode) would be her first one. The party that Loona vomited at should’ve been her first one instead of the one Beezlebub is running. Not to mention that she has met some of these hellhounds before and is known as “Lunatic Loona” by most of them. This folks is yet another retcon.

-- Loona calls the poodle a bitch, leaving everybody completely shocked for some reason. “Ooooh! Teacher! She just said a bad word!” That’s seriously what they’re acting like. As if NOBODY in this wasted ass party (or in hell at all) has ever said a bad word before. If y’all don’t grow tf up-

-- I’m sorry, but if y’all asked me what I thought The seven deadly sin of Gluttony would look like, NEVER in my LIFE would I have pictured THIS--

I know I cannot have been the only one high off shrooms the moment I seen this character design. . . She looks like a concept art of an OC that was made a 12-year-old Vivziepop.

So first off, she calls herself Queen Bee... but is shaped like the rest of these furry fanservice mutts. She’s just another wolf/fox with only a little bit of bug-like features to pass off that she’s only. . . part bee. But why not just make her a FULL BEE??? Why does she have to look like a whole lava lamp hellhound??? Like, I know the lava lamp feature was supposed to be based off her personality, but why can’t that just be her hair?? Why do you have to add that part to her STOMACH!!?? I can’t even tell if that’s just apart of her clothes or her actual body! Either way, its too much!! It must’ve been hard as sh*t to animate her!!!

It doesn’t even make sense that she looks like a hellhound anyway!! Hellhounds are supposed to be in the lowest rank right beside imps and Beezlebub looks like one of them, only with an extra pair of arms!! Once again, why can’t she just be a BEE or something???

-- I always forget that Helluva Boss is supposed to be a musical. Probably because it just doesn’t fit as one at this point, especially with this pop music. When it comes to musicals, the point in the songs is that we would have to feel empathy for whoever’s singing and they also tell a story while we get a sense in what we’re about to see, and it also drops hints in what will happen next. But THIS song, it’s just a little pop music talking about sweets while also introducing Beezlebub. I get that its the point in pop music; there’s not much meaning to them and it’s only meant for you to enjoy and sing along with, but you can’t really call this show a musical when music like this is being played. Like I said from before, it’s still fairly catchy. I’ll admit that, but I could hardly feel for it.

-- I don’t wanna badge Kesha for her acting skills. It’s not like she’s been in a lot of films anyway. I mean, she’s a pop singer first and always, so that’s fair. But it was pretty, meh? Like, she kinda sounded like she didn’t even wanna be there in the studio and is only reading her lines instead of actually ACTING them while putting little emotion in what she’s saying. Honestly, most of Beelzebub’s lines are kinda pointless anyway. Like she’s just saying random bizarre monologues that I can hardly care about or even listen to. I can’t even tell if I was supposed to laugh at them or what. Seems like to me the writers only put those lines in the script just to hear the famous Ke$ha talk more. Not to mention that some of what she said sounded completely unnecessary and weird. For instance, Beelzebub mentioned how she was associated with Satan and thinks of him as her brother, but also finds him hot without his shirt on and said that she could “hit that”. . . . . Uhh, not exactly something you should say or even THINK about your brother figure ma’am. Why y’all gotta have Kesha say all that?? I can definitely see why she wouldn’t wanna act out these scripts!! She must’ve felt hella uncomfortable reading them!

And Viv, WHAT IS IT WITH YOU AND THE INCEST JOKES!!??

-- Okay, so . . . . Vortex, a lower class hellhound, and Beelzebub, one of the seven deadly sins being Gluttony (which means she a higher rank) dating?. . . Um, last I checked, a lower class and someone of higher up than that is kinda frowned upon by most of the demons in hell, as seen with how some people reacted to Blitzo and Stolas’s relationship. But for some reason, no one seems to react to Tex and Bee’s relationship?? Why is it that people mock Stolas and Blitzo for being a thing, but Tex and Bee can walk around and hold hands scott free??? I can tell that Viv just doesn't care anymore about the ranking system SHE made up.

-- I don’t really see Vortex and Bee as a couple anyway. Don’t get me wrong, I actually find it cute they’re together and even like the ship a little bit. But from what little interactions I’ve seen between them, kinda just seems like they’re more platonic best friends then boyfriend and girlfriend. I guess if we we’re to dig deep into they’re relationship, then I might see something, but . . . . I dunno, that’s probably just me.

-- Loona is so hard to read, especially now. The whole time she’s there, she’s just feeling super uncomfortable, like she doesn't even wanna be there even though she's with Vortex, who's the only person she seems to be more at ease with out of everyone in the party. Even when Bee is super welcoming and nice to her, Loona still feels bitter while not even liking her (Probably because Bee is dating Tex). And then for some reason, she just ups and leaves then starts to... tear up?? It's not too clear to me why she’s feeling sad. You can’t blame me for not knowing or picking up on it. It’s not like she was doing much of anything other than standing there and barely talking. How am I supposed to know what she’s really feeling and why she’s feeling it when she’s given no dialogue?

-- I'm reminded that Loona still acts so bitter around Blitzo and it's honestly irritating. She calls to ask him to pick her up and when he asks her if she was doing okay, she responded with such attitude! Aren’t we supposed to be sympathizing with her here??? I don’t care how frustrated she feels right now, especially since she has no reason to be. And I just love it how when people see her and say, "Oh hey Blitzo! Is that your daughter?" And she quickly responds, "I'm his ADOPTED daughter!" Like bitch. . . WAS ANYONE ASKING THAT!! He’s your family!! Paper or no paper!! DEAL WITH IT!! And no shit your adopted!! People can see that he’s an imp and you’re a HELLHOUND!!! Stop being so defensive!!

-- Are you for real right now. . . . . .

You were getting all teary-eyed n shit, wanting to go home but as soon as some hellhound hottie starts flirting with you, you immediately get over it and change your mind in less than 5 seconds before you’re about to leave???? Like you don’t even think about it?? Viv, where are you getting at here???

-- I can’t really say much about Blitzo right now. He’s barely there anyway, only making an appearance in the last 10 minutes of the episode for comic relief and a pity party.

-- Viv must really don’t know what to do with her female characters and how to go about ‘em. Loona’s shown to be introverted and sad at first to straight up confident and lively around everyone in a matter of seconds. She’s so quick to make friends and get along with other hellhounds at the party as if it was no issue from before when it was. We don’t even get to see any progression of bonding with these out-of-nowhere friends she’s making. And all because of some dude that called her hot!!! It kinda makes me question on why Loona was even feeling sad in the first place since it was so easy for her to gain confidence.

-- Y’all, I think I’m convinced right now that the only reason Loona doesn’t like Beelzebub is because she’s dating her crush! Like- there’s nothing else to it. Bee and Tex are dating, Loona is still crushing Tex and that’s why she doesn’t like Beelzebub. Not to mention she’s possibly jealous because she feels inferior to her. She’s super outgoing, social, and could easily get along with anyone, something Loona can’t easily do (though that alone shouldn’t even matter because Loona already managed to make friends and some random hellhound flirted with her). You CANNOT convince me otherwise. And if that is the reason, then honey, you’re gonna have to let that go. For real!! You’re lucky that Tex even likes you enough to want to be your friend.

So Bee and Tex confront Loona about Blitzo, saying that he’s been drinking a lot (obviously) and that he’s going overboard with the partying. They suggested that Loona go check on him to make sure he’s okay and that he doesn’t cause some kind of scene (Then again, I don’t see why Bee would care. The point of her being the sin of Gluttony IS to go overboard with nearly anything. I mean- not the whole point, but it’s a common characteristic, so I don’t think she should be worried about it. I guess it’s good to know she’s considerate though.) Then all of a sudden, Loona snaps mainly at Bee and gets so hostile towards her saying, “You don’t know anything about my dad.” such and such, and I’m just like, “Ugh, again with your attitude!!!”

For one, its pretty bold of you to stand up to a higher rank considering she could squash you in an instant.

But I mean- WHAT IS WITH THE SUDDEN HOSTILITY??? And most people wanna validate her, saying, “It was only a trauma response. You gotta understand that Loona is new to this and she’s not used to people suddenly caring and being kind. She’s just having a hard time trusting people and she did apologize.” Y’all. . . don’t even- First off, Loona's reaction to Bee felt too rushed and forced to be considered traumatic. Second off, someone having trauma does not excuse an unnecessary shitty attitude, especially when Bee has been so kind to Loona this whole episode. Third off, for someone who doesn’t trust people so easily and isn’t used to being given kindness, Loona seemed pretty quick to make friends with everyone at the party who were nice to her. She was sure as hell quick to get along with Vortex after only knowing him for a short amount of time! And he was kind to her too. She wasn’t being bitchy to them then. But when BEELZEBUB is showing care or kindness, Loona will suddenly start to act bitchy??? And because of some past trauma?? PLEASE!!

And some fans would go on to say, "She's just getting over a heartbreak. It takes a while to get over your crush."

They're saying this as if Loona is head over heels in love with Vortex when she was simply CRUSHING on him and from the moment she saw him. And yes, there IS a huge difference especially when Loona only knew Vortex in that short amount of time. I would understand Loona falling in love with Tex if they actually had the time to bond after ep 3. . . . but they didn't. At least there was no indication that they did. And on top of that, just for the record, Loona already knew that Tex had a girlfriend the same day she met him!! Which was five episodes ago!! So before y'all go on and say "She needs time to get over her crush", she should've already gotten over it by now!! I dunno why she's still crushing and blushing around him as if she believed he liked her back!

Why did she seem so shocked after Tex introduced his Bee anyway? As if Loona never recalled him mentioning he had a girlfriend back in ep 3. And say that was the reason why she was sad . . . why would it would it make her sad!!?? Like I said, she should’ve already known Tex had a girlfriend since he brought it up straight to her face. I would understand her being upset if he didn’t tell her and she didn’t find out about Bee until the last minute when Tex introduced her as his girlfriend. Then it would actually make sense for Loona to still crush on him the entire time because she wouldn’t have known he was taken and would believe she still had a shot with him. In this case, it would be understandable why it would make her sad. . . . but we didn’t go that route. Instead, we had to go about it the “Vivzie Way” (the more complicated way).

Point blank, Loona seems to only dislike Bee because she's with Tex and is jealous. And she shouldn't have reacted the way she did out of jealousy when Bee was only showing concern for Blitzo. Trauma or no trauma, I don’t care. It was unnecessary.

-- “Blitzo! BLITZO! Where are you, shithead!!”

Loona . . . . how’re you gonna get all defensive about your dad and then go straight back to calling him names?

-- For once, Loona decides she actually wants to care about her dad (mainly cuz she was told to). I guess its nice to see a cute father/daughter moment between Blitzo and Loona for once. Can’t say I feel for it at all though especially when it immediately starts to become completely pointless a season and two episodes later when we see this happen-

Seriously, how're they gonna have Loona and Blitzo bond by the end of the episode only for Loona to go back to treating him like shit the next? It’s like whatever build-up was being made between them immediately collapsed a season later, and over something as petty as a mild criticism Blitzo gave Loona. You can just TELL that Viv and the other writers don’t think before writing these scenes down!!

Also, how is it that Loona will get all concerned for Blitzo making out with folks in the party while wasted even though she was literally cheering for him to chug a whole barrel of liquor in order to beat Bee in a game. What’s sad about this is that it was one of the only times Loona calls him “Dad”. . . . In a drinking game . . . . .

-- Blitzo: "Loony, will you be there for me?"

Loona: . . .Be where?"

Be invisible, obviously. . . . Frickin' idiot. . . .

-- We're supposed to feel bad for Blitzo, but it's kinda hard for me to do that when he wasn't even the main focus in this episode at all when he should been. Still, it's not like I could feel sorry for him anyway since he brought that whole Ozzie's mess on himself.

For now, I think that's all that could be said about this episode. I might just make some edits if I feel if I left something off. But the whole gist of it is that I feel like this episode was just a whole lotta nothin'. I don’t even think Loona learned anything this entire episode. Of course, the whole plot here was Loona learning to socialize and make friends with everyone, but we didn’t even get to see any of that. And she clearly didn’t learn anything since she was influenced by some rando calling her hot. It’s honestly sad, for real. The females in this show needs some serious work not just in their stories, but their characters too.

synopsis : he carried you back to your dorm months ago after you passed out in a party. You don’t remember anything that happened but he’s telling you, you have confessed your love to him and he has fallen for you. Will you accept his confession?

"As much as I know this exam means a lot to you, I think you should totally loosen up a bit." Yunjin and I were invited to this party hosted by someone on campus. As much as I want to go. This exam means a lot and I really just want to get it over with. But with her bickering mouth, I really can’t focus or even deny her offer.

“Can’t you just go on your own?" I sighed as a lower my head onto my table. I was not about to have hang over 3 days before my exam. "Come on just one night! You still have 2 nights to study y/nnn." At this point, she has started moaning and dragging me out of my chair. I finally gave up and agreed to go with her. I swear, the stuff I do for this woman...

"I’m not peaking y/nn! Just come out!" Yunjin was so excited to see the outfit she picked out for me. It was a nice black silk dress that Hugged my figure perfectly, I paired it with some comfortable heels cuz I ain’t tryna get sore ass feet. I unlock the door to reveal myself to my friend. Shocked expression spread across her face as she looked at me with admiration.

"I knew this will fit you perfectly, you will not survive without me! Now let’s go." She linked her arms with me and swang the door open. I feel exposed but anything for my party addicted best friend.

The loud music could be heard all the way down the corridor. Lots of people were flooding in and out of the dorm, some with a guy or a girl around them or just some coming out for a breather. The moment we opened the door, the scent of alcohol and sweat greeted us. I just want to gag at this disgusting scent.

"y/n is okay just stick with me!" Yunjin took my hand and dragged me through the crowd of people. Bringing both of us to the kitchen island. "A jungle juice for you and me! A good luck charm for our y/n’s upcoming exam!" She handed me the cup, we cheers before chucking down the beverage. It was so strong it burnt my throat.

"Yunjin what the fuck, that’s so strong."

"That’s the whole point, loosen up I’ll be right back!" She said as she walked away from the kitchen leaving me alone. I stood there holding a cup like an idiot. I was about to leave when a deep voice interrupted me.

"Who left their gorgeous girl all alone at a party?" I turned around. Making direct eye contact with the handsome young man in front of me. "My friend, she probably left to find someone." I slightly smiled. Before finishing my second cup of jungle juice.

"Ah I see. By the way you’re strong for drinking that." He said as he points towards my drink. "Is it? I just know it really burns my throat but it’s taste good." I was examining the drink after my comment. Bro why am I examining the damn drink when you can’t even see shit…? "Yeah it’s really strong. You should try this though is really good." He handed me his cup. I didn’t think of much as I took a sip of it. It was bitter at first but sweeter after a taste. My eyes widen at the nice smooth drink. I approved the drink as I handed it back to him.

"I’m jay… and you are?" He extended his hand out, offering a shake. "I’m y/n." I shook his hand with a smile. "A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. How about I make you some drinks? I’m really good at it." He flirts. I was getting butterflies from his compliments as he made the drinks for the both of us. His hands traveled smoothly from bottle to bottle. Pouring them into the shaker.

As he continued making drinks for me to try, I basically lost count of how much I was drinking. I was feeling so dizzy that I probably couldn’t stand straight. The last thing I felt was someone holding onto me before lifting me up.

Jay pov:

"y/n. Are you sure you want another cup?" I asked concerned. "I’m fineeeee jayyy… I just want one more!" She yelled through the loud music. From her body language, she is so close to passing out. I quickly walked over her and threw her arms around my neck, lifting her up so I can carry her back to her dorm.

"y/n…? Y/N! Omg is she okay?" I heard someone yelled behind me. I turned around seeing a confused yunjin. "Oh hey yunjin. She passed out from the drinks. Im about to take her back to her dorm." I said scratching my head cuz clearly I have no clue where her dorm is. "Oh alright just follow me we share one." I followed her with y/n on my back. She was mumbling stuff I can’t really understand. But I know she said something about me smelling nice. I smiled at her sweet compliments.

Yunjin was slightly struggling to open the door but after she opened it. I walked into the girls dorm. "Her room is just down the hallway, the bigger one."

She gave me a small smile before going into her own room. I thanked her as I carried the drunk girl into her room. I placed her on the bed softly, before helping her take her shoes off before tucking her in. I was about to leave before she caught my wrist.

"Jay don’t leave I love you so much please don’t leave like him.." she whispered. My heart dropped by this information. My mind was blank. I kneel beside her head, stroking her head. "Princess is late I have to go. And you’re not sober. You don’t know what your saying.." I sighed, wishing what she said is real. And she really meant it. However, drunk words are sober thoughts right..?

"Jay please stay..I love you so much you make me feel safe tonight.." she mumbled before falling back to sleep. I smiled at her, wishing I could return my feelings back. “I’ll wait for you my love..” I softly kiss her forehead before heading out of the dorm. Her scent on my white button up shirt was the only thing left from her.

Present time

"Yunjin I’m telling you right now. Im not tryna be black out drunk like last time." I screamed through the loud music. Once again, but 4 months later we are back at this dorm partying. And imma be honest I do not want to recall what happened after. Yes I know I have confessed to Park Jeongseong himself but since neither of us mentioned It again, I just assume he didn’t return the same feelings back. But as time goes on, my feelings for him deepen and are slowly getting worse.

She said she admired the campus view. It was a comfortable silence between us while the loud music softly played in the background. I was hoping to bump into Jay, but I guess he isn’t here today or is avoiding me. My thoughts were interrupted by the voice I missed so much.

"Hey y/n. I was trying to find you." The same voice I fallen for 4 months ago. My name runs so smoothly out his mouth, making myself so mad at how much I love this man. All because he made me drink like 20 drinks that night.

Yunjin has left us alone by now. It was just the two of us, besides a few people outside. "So 4 months ago. We never really got to talk about it." I can tell he was too awkward to even bring it up. I have never wanted to jump off the balcony to escape a conversation so badly. “Yeah, I totally understand if you don’t return the feelings." I smiled at him. I was so uncomfortable until he spoke.

"y/n I don’t think you know how much I want to return these feelings. I always thought you were drunk that night, and if I brought it up, you would be confused and what’s going on between us is going to be uncomfortable. And I don’t want that because you are really such a special person, and I don’t want to lose you. I didn’t know what you said was true until today. And I want you to know how much I love you. Your sweet personality and intelligence really caught my attention, my love. I hope you know how much I want you to just be with me." I smiled at his lovely speech. Gosh, how can someone be this perfect?

"As much as I want to kiss you right now, My mouth tastes like vodka, so no-"

"I really don’t care, y/n I want to kiss you for so damn long." His arms traveled to my waist as he pulled me closer to him. His other hand was on my cheek. His lips were on mine, his thumb softly rubbing my cheeks. At that moment, it felt like the world went quiet, just for the both of us. I can feel him smiling into the kiss. As we both pull away with a smile on our faces.

"Wanna just get out of here, my love? We don’t want you passing out again now."

"Never bring up how we met again, Park Jeongseong."

"But it was legendary." He chuckled as he dragged me out of the party. Taking me to God knows where, but at least we will forever remember how we met.

She-Clops has been the first among all of them, I think they've been there since 2016. It has had two rewrites and so many characters came and went but I think I'm satisfied with the Blueyesque story style it has now

Ghost Pile and When The Moon Is Bright both came around 2017 when Deltarune and Cuphead are huge hits. These are probably gonna be dormant but like, I like to include em but also here's a random pic cuz I can't find any drawings of either

The Light Plague started at 2018 and it has had many beautiful and painful rewrites. TLP is also the oc set with the densest story since it's a compilation of angsty characters that has each their own thing going on

Crank Those Gears, I believe that was 2020 or 2021 during my TF2 era because that is heavily inspired by EngieSpy. Still adore GR-17 and Nodiel dearly, hope I get to start on the webcomic

On the same world building as CTG, there's Shallow Stares with the magic tree babies. Shallow Stares came along shortly after She-Clops. One of the trees in the trio, Twelve, his design actually came to me in a dream and I just drew him. Next thing you know it became an entire dndesque adventuretimesque fantasy world, post apocalypse and all (and that apocalypse was TLP)

Not part of any self made world but TF2 ocs but Michel and his team should also be here too, somewhere mid 2021 or early 2022, that beautiful fucker is made because the DNAD server (GODBLESS DNAD YEEHAW) has a pack of people who absolutely adores tentamercs and I joined in with em. Gave him a whole team with their own original traits to go along with them. I haven't posted anything about this but the Soldier in Michel's team is a druid that wanna be human

Leave You're Not Safe Here, heavily inspired by Don't Hug Me, is the second newest out of all the sets, I think it's one year old or about to be a year old. Honestly I LOVE the concept of LYNSH cuz the main characters are all these weirdcore or abstract people but it's like a Regular Show thing so there's also humans in it. Tho the humans are rainbow coloured like Psychonauts characters (fun fact, TLP characters used to be coloured the same way, Cobalt is the only one that isn't changed) Lemme tell you smthn about LYNSH. It's the humans that act like weirdos and they insist that the abstract characters don't belong anywhere. Absolutely not a metaphor for anything

And now it leads us to Cursed To Charm. First oc set that's collaborated with someone else on the writing, shoutout to my brother from the same mushroom root @beefy-the-stronk CtC is barely three months old and yet we already came up with three seasons worth of a timeline, it's beautiful shit

What is your OCs fatal flaw? Are they aware of this flaw?

In his current state? Probably his selflessness. He gives too much to people and has a hard time drawing lines if it's someone he deeply cares about. Case in point, letting Naida more or less railroad the entire family into chasing the Fountain of Youth. In his defense, Naida isn't really someone you can win fights against, but considering the dangerous nature of the voyage, one would think he should have fought against it a lot harder. I do think he's aware of it, but not in a way he can actively check, because it's a lot of him overcompensating for the way he used to be and the things he's done. So I guess a larger and probably more fatal flaw is the fact that he carries around so much guilt and does a lot in the name of reparations.

How easily could your OC be convinced to do something that goes against their moral compass?

Easily, but tbh I feel this is one thing Ven shares with Kato. His morals can be bent depending on who is involved and the consequence of the situation. Ven isn't standing on moral highground in the first place, despite understanding right and wrong well enough. He certainly doesn't care enough about authority not to break rules, and as far as life or death is concerned, a life will always matter less to him if they're at odds with someone he loves. That being said, I think he's resourceful enough to find ways around making risky choices.

What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?

Also a really fun question, cuz I haven't thought about it in years LOL. Though Ven stayed mostly the same from conception, he was supposed to be a bit more "roguish" even after his Reaper years. More of the typical pirate: loose, unkempt and thieving. But he ended up being way more charitable and straightlaced than I'd initially planned, but that ironed itself out almost immediately so I don't really consider it to have been "the plan" just "what I had had in mind at some point" lmao. Now the idea of Ven sleeping around with literally anyone is goddamn baffling to me.

Do you have a specific lyric or quote which you associate with your OC?

Every single word of his theme song, "The Balancer's Eye" by Lord Huron, but all of this: Nothing's waiting for us in the great sky Life is equal to dust in the Balancer's eye Now I know that I can't lift an old curse Tell me, how does a man change the universe? Will I ever be forgiven for the crime of my life? Will it haunt me till I die? To the end of time?

If you met your OC, would the two of you get along?

I think Ven is one of the few characters I can genuinely answer "yes" to this question lmao. Just because Ven is hands down the least judgmental of my OCs, not to mention packing all that charisma, he can literally talk to anyone. Although I probably would just be dead on the floor so it wouldn't be a very interesting conversation.

How does your OC behave when enraged?

We so rarely see Ven angry. Honestly, a bit like Kyrie, Ven has a quiet temper. He's good at restraining himself now, because he knows intimately well just how horrible of a person he can be, so he makes a concerted effort never to let anything get him that upset. Mostly, things don't anger him as much as he may be disappointed or saddened. There is one scene in OST:O I've had planned for years that actually showcases Ven's true anger and it is very much "silent and lethal" lmao.

What character alignment would you consider your OC to be?

Oof, I dunno, somewhere between neutral good and chaotic neutral. Hard to pinpoint lol

What is an alternative life path your OC might have gone done? How different would their life be if they'd made those decisions?

Oh, this one is interesting. I think Ven could have easily continued down the path he started on when he got the sight. That is, had he not been able to pull himself back from that maniacal person he'd become as consequence, he'd be unrecognizable today. That's not to say he isn't already because he absolutely was that person for a moment in time. The Reaper King wasn't just a persona, it was his entire essence. He was ruthless, violent and he did very literally kill dozens (I won't say 100s but it's up there) of people. We like to imagine him as the loving father and perfect husband he is now, but outside of maybe Elsera he's my OC with the highest bodycount. And while in a way you could justify he killed people because "they deserved to die" he was never in the right to pass that judgement. Had he not eventually woken up from that state of trauma and derangement, he'd still be a completely unstable murderous lunatic .-.

What is your favorite thing about your OC?

How hot he is. The end.

Adam Learns Feminism (Hazbin x OC Drabble)

Summary: Avaline tries to help great grampy Adam unpack his misogyny. Familial, not a Romance Ship. Adam x Granddaughter!OC.

Avaline slammed a stack of books down on the table in front of Adam.

"The hell are these?" He asked, his voice muffled with food.

"Since you seem to forget what it's like to be human, I thought I'd give you a refresher," replied Avaline perkily.

Adam grabbed the book on top and read the title out loud.

"The Feminine Mystique. What's so mystique about women? I had that shit figured out ages ago!" Boasted the fallen angel.

"Aw yes, cuz women love being called the b word," the blonde human retorted with a roll of her eyes. She remembered the times he'd stop by her mom's workplace and scared off her female coworkers. All except one but they all didn't like her, Adam included.

"Anyways I took it upon myself to teach you how to understand our gender better. So you won't go around calling random strangers names, and respect women's boundaries."

"Please, as someone who lived thousands of years I don't need to relearn stuff I already know," huffed the First Man.

"Besides the ladies love me. You should've seen me back in the day they were crawling all over me and LOVING IT!"

"Says the guy who got divorced twice and has a pick me for a girlfriend," snarked Evan as she walked past them towards the fridge. She ignored Adam's indignant cry and opened up the fridge, only to groan miserably when she didn't find what she was hoping for.

"Hey who ate up the lamb chops!"

She looked at the table and saw bones on Adam's plate.

"Should've ate them when you had the chance," he tsked. As if to rub it in he started to gnaw on the bone with the most meat.

Evan's eyes narrowed. "Fat ass!"

"You make it sound like it belongs to you did it have your name on it?" Adam grinned.

Evan huffed and went arouns fir more food. She grabbed a couple luscious green apples, still arguing with Adam over the ownership of the leftovers.

"Y'all stop," Ava sighed as she took a seat beside Adam. "I'm tryin to help him be more conscious,"

"Good luck with that," said Evan. "The old bastard is so set in his ways, it'll probably take till the final judgement to get him to change his mind."

Adam felt insulted. "Hey are you trying to say I'm unable to change?!"

"I mean you said the same thing about Charlie and look how THAT turned out," Evan replied, gesturing to the Sinner's lackluster appearance.

"I take great offence to your statement!" Adam shot back.

Ava sighed again. No wonder Abel left, she said to herself. "Look it's not going to take all day, we'll start with reading a few chapters each week, then increase as we go along," Ava explained.

"Y'all have fun," she waved goodbye and left the kitchen.

"But grampy you have to learn go be mores respectful to women if you want to have a better chance at keeping them," Ava pointed out.

"Now we can keep arguing and lose progress or..." She left that statement unfinished

"Or?" Adam challenged.

"Or I'm telling Grandma Cass you ate the rest of her pork chops." Ava pointed at the empty plate.

Fear struck Adam in the chest. He hated the old bat. He'd rather marry the gremlin who stabbed him than spend a single minute with the elderly fool.

But since Cass was the mother of his granddaughter Flora, and the only other person willing to house him on Earth, he had no choice but to respect her.

He grumbled, cursing the feminist mystery and uppity teenagers. Great now his afternoon would be taken up by modern day bullshit!

Ava showed him a few chapters and read them out loud. The whole time Adam sitting with his head in his hand bored out of his mind.

The Feminarchy Mystic, whatever it's called, was an beloved book by human standards, and a stale one by his standard. Ava said its significance is why she decided to start with it first.

After an hour Avaline decided it was time to end the session.

"Alright class let's see what we've got." Adam pushed his paper to show her what he had written.

"I'M SORRY WOMAN." scribbled in hasty, near ineligible mess. The rest of the paper were childlike doodles Adam drew of himself, and strangling Lucifer with lilith and eve cheering him from the background

Ava's mouth twisted in an awkward smile. "It's a start."

god i havent asked questions in a WHILE but its mainly cuz ive been somewhat busy dealing with my horrible grades and having to fix them up. But now that they're foxed, i can finally have the time to ask questions, and they're for the new comic!!

1. who the hell was the guy Glevil choked?

2. Also confused on who's the big teeth lousy gal. Kinda lost track of my NPCS.

3. Will we get ref's/designs for the names/characters that Glevil mentioned, like for example; Arther?

4. Is there an exact reason on why Glevil is in so much denial?

5. What are the names of the two other mannequins?

6. Christ, is it me or did Boots' boots, well, now they're heels, get taller!?

7. I gotta say though, Boots looks so girlie pop. (/pos)

"You all made the choice to leave home!" and a few panels later, "You should be at home!" and I can't really tell if it's just an error, because my brain goes 'Wait a sec is it talking about like, they moved from their old home, Boots' is somewhere else?? 5. The green hat mannequin with the necklace is Larch (OC) and the purple hat one is Jim (NPC)

6. Boots has always been taller even in Regretevator, they tower over everyone. So naturally they still do haha.

8. I like to think in Regretevator, the mannequins all originate from one place (probably the backroom of the lobby) and that a lot of mannequins left that 'home' to go anywhere they want to like Mark and the gang who now do wood work! Naturally I'm gonna add all my HCs to my AU haha

for the ask game!! 💯, 🖤, 🎮, or 🔱 for skye (yes i know as a half-mer they can swim... but is it like azul where they don't like doing so with people around or like the leeches where they're super chill about it???)

💯-“ what are three random facts about your OC?”

Skye cannot stand sour food. They grew up eating Jamil’s cooking so they’re well acquainted with spice and love foods that would burn off most people’s tongues, but if anythings even slightly sour they won’t eat it. They also don’t like coffee, but other than that they’ll rlly eat anything. And I mean anything.

They have a cat! I mentioned that briefly but I’ll share the cat lore. When Skye was around 6 or 7 they saw a little kitten on the side of the road. They went to grab it bcuz they thought it was a mouse and wanted to eat it, but no longer wanted to eat it once discovering it isn’t a mouse. So they took it to Azul who freaked out bcuz this wasn’t long after the Guinea pig incident (more on that later), so he takes the cat to the vet and gets everything sorted then talks to Jamil about finding it a home, bcuz he’s anxious abt keeping it around w Skye. Skye then expresses that they want to keep the cat, so Jamil purposes they leave the cat with Treyjade for a few months to figure things out cuz they live nearby and already have animals. Azul agrees to this, so for abt 3 months of Skye begging to go to treyjades house and getting upset when they are denied permission to hold the kitten (they didn’t show interest in any of the other animals), Jamil and Azul decided it was probably fine, so they took the cat home. Her name is Mariana and she’s a Russian blue cat! She’s very much a lap cat but only for Skye, she will hiss and claw at anyone else who tries to pick her up lmao

And for the third fact, they became housewarden about a month into their time at nrc. Which is impressive by any standards, but not impressive enough, bcuz Shenzi (my younger kaliruggie kid who Skye despises), became Scarabia housewarden three days before Skye became Octavinelle housewarden. They initially didn’t wanna take the title super fast, but when Shenzi did, they got pissed and went for it. They’re still salty about this and will likely always be salty about this.

🖤 - “Has your OC killed or seriously wounded someone before? Have they broken someone’s heart and/or broken someone’s trust?”

God damn what a question- okay so idk if you’ve read my 2nd Skye post where I go more in detail abt their venom/hunting strategy but they do have some extremely powerful venom. No human/mer/beastman has ever been killed by it, tho a lot of animals have. Skye was very reckless as a child, a big difference from their collected and put-together appearance they hold. They bit everything as a kid, edible or not, and Jamil and Azul had their hands full trying to keep them from killing any animal they saw. I’d say the worst thing they ever killed was one of treyjade’s pet Guinea pigs when they were like 7-ish, but I don’t think they lost the trust of treyjade from that bcuz Jade being a mer himself and Trey being married to a mer/having mer kids understood some things couldn’t be helped. They’ve never fully envenomated a person as it stands, they bit Floyd once as a toddler cuz they were curious but he didn’t die or even get super hurt. He didn’t hold them for a while tho lmao

🎮- “what are three of your ocs favorite hobbies?”

Skye reads a lot, they were the kind of kid where you had to take their books away as punishment lmao, they’ll read anything and they’ll read it freakishly fast. They’re really good at board/video games but don’t really play them much outside of their club/with friends so I wouldn’t count that, so as for the other two- idk if tea counts as a hobby but I am counting it, they grew up very close with Jade, he’s always been their favorite uncle (the octatrio and their spouses + kids is a very tightly knit group they’re all family), so from a very young age Jade was teaching them a lot about tea, so into their high school years they experiment more with making tea blends and they have a huge tea collection in their dorm room (and an even bigger one at home). As for the last one- this may surprise you! So I’ve had this in some of their unpublished notes for a MINUTE, they do tarot cards! And they’re extremely good at it. This isn’t a lifelong hobby like the other two cuz no one in their family was ever into it, but they picked it up as a way to make money for the lounge like a true ashengrotto. their plan was to have a temporary psychic reading thing for Halloween, but they ended up getting weirdly interested in it and now they have at least 5 decks amongst all the tins of tea

🔱 - “can your OC swim? Does your OC enjoy swimming?”

Uhh yes and no? Well they can swim in both forms, Azul made sure of that after the incident with their brother (long story), but they really don’t like doing it in human form. They’re obviously great in their merform, idk if you’ve ever seen a video of a sea snake swim but it’s really cool so I’ll link one. But swimming with two legs instead of one long tail + without the security blanket of strong venom isn’t something they enjoy.

Answering with Delmas, because I'm curious what he'd say. >.>

1. Are you named after anyone?

Eh, kinda. Dad was Delmont, I'm Delmas, don't know my grandad (dad was in his late hundreds as it was) but he was probably a Del too.

2. When was the last time you cried?

Like a bit of a sniffle or a full on mess of snot and salt? 'Cuz it's been years since I've let out enough to notice, but gettin' it right up to the surface, where it burns but won't fall...well, that was yesterday.

3. Do you have kids?

I'm going to say no, and hope that a certain tiny wolf what threatened to adopt me is not listening.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Little boring be direct all the time, ain't it? Gotta leave some mystery.

5. What's the first thing you notice about people?

What they're noticin' me with, of course.

6. What's your eye color?

Hazel. Exciting in the right light, boring in all else.

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

I'm a sucker for a good sapfest. Life so seldom ends happy, nice to see someone enjoyin' it.

8. Any special talents?

None I care to broadcast.

9. Where were you born?

Elysium, Upper Dolor, high up in the ivory towers, though you wouldn't know it to look at me...or to ask around.

10. What are your hobbies?

Cooking. A skill borne out of necessity, and boredom, that's turned into a delightful use of the few off hours I get.

11. Do you have any pets?

Nah, most of the furry things that can stand my presence are of a temporary sort. Well, they used to be.

12. What sports do you play/have you played?

Boxing a sport? Never felt like a sport, sports have teams don't they? But it's what I did, for more years than most.

13. How tall are you?

6'5", which don't seem so big to me, but I did spend quite a few years around ogres.

14. Favorite subject in school?

I had tutors, all old enough to have their names in the textbooks other kids were readin'. Favorite though, that's a tough one. Madam Forel maybe, taught English. Which I butcher often, but she always said words was meant to be toyed with.

15. Dream job?

Hah, that's. That's a question. Can't rightly answer it, but it's definitely a question, so I guess I oughta try. I had one once, carried it with me longer than I should've too but, well, everything went and got nebulous on me. Life's a bit sideways now, so. Dunno.

Ohhh random gush post cuz I can’t seem to focus on my essay after reading the latest chapter which filled me with SO MUCH DELIGHT. I just gotta let these words out cuz they’ve been festering in my brain for a bit.

SVSSS and Moshang fans are probably familiar with this name, but for anybody who doesn’t know (cuz ley’s be honest I don’t have a lot of followers and this is probably gonna get buried under a bunch of other Tumblr posts), Tossawary is a pretty active SVSSS author. I love them so much. Like, they post on Tumblr pretty regularly, draws art, AND writes amazing fics. I feel like the SVSSS fandom struck a goldmine with them.*

More under the cut cuz this got a bit long? And there may be some spoilers to their fics.

The thing I love the most is how they always seem to complete their fics? And this gives me SUCH a sense of security? Because I HATE feeling the pain of seeing a discontinued WIP so much, but with their stories I get to enjoy the joy/agony of waiting for new chapter updates without having to worry about whether or not it will actually finish.

(And this is no hate to authors who DO have unfinished WIPs, okay. Even if they’re unfinished, I’m honestly glad it was put out in the world for readers to enjoy. Please don’t see this post as a bash, because you’re great too.)

They also write one of my most favorite versions of Shang Qinghua and Mobei-jun? (And Moshang in general.) Like, they perfectly capture the mess and hilarity of the ship, the REALLY BAD miscommunications and weird history together. They write meta posts and fic ideas about Mobei-jun’s family history and thought process, and how he would come to fall for a weird guy like Shang Qinghua.

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! Because they also create lovely OC’s (Luo Jiahui and Peng Hongpeng, I’m staring directly at you). Like, they add to the stories perfectly, they’re properly fleshed out, and their relationships with Shang Qinghua are wonderful.

The relationships--romantic or platonic--in general are great. THEY GOT ME TO LIKE A SHIP I WASN’T ORIGINALLY EVEN INTO (cough shang qinghua x yue qingyuan). They gave me a lovely familial dynamic between Shang Qinghua and Luo Binghe!** THEY LET LBH’S MOM SURVIVE, AND HAD SVSSS!LBH MEET HER!***

And as someone who’s a sucker for worldbuilding, Tossawary fleshes out the history and setting of the SVSSS/PIDW world beautifully. I have a thing about reading the day-to-day tasks and stories of life on Cang Qiong Mountain, and how the world works outside of that. Like, yes please, tell me more about what the Peak Lords talk about in their meetings. I actually do really want to know about the kind of requests/documents/dealings Shang Qinghua has to deal with.

Anyways some of my favorite fics:

Nothing to Me, Nothing to You-- A SVSSS and MDZS fusion featuring Cloud Recesses Shang Qinghua and Yue Qingyuan, and Wen!Mobei-jun. It features a lovely friendship between YQY and SQH, and Moshang slowly getting closer and acting like dumb teens.

Stepping Up- Currently on chapter three, and inspired me to write this post in the first place. IT’S AN DING LBH GETTING (kinda) ADOPTED BY SQH! AND DISAPPROVING OF MBJ! Just watching his protective mode go on sqh is a delight, they deserve to be in cahoots. THEY DESERVE TO BOTH BE CARED FOR.

the ability to remain sober and gracious- I’m a qijiu simp okay. Even if this fic isn’t romantic, I still love how the argument turned out. And how that argument even started hehe.

Catch a Falling Star- It’s a Stardust/SVSSS fusion. SY is the star, and he’s going on a road trip with lqg and lbh. Need I say more?

love to the ones i’ve never met- This fic’s synopsis BROKE MY BRAIN FOR A BIT. I WENT FERAL WHEN LJH AND SVSSS!LBH MET! WHEN LBH GOT TO SEE THE PINTWILF UNIVERSE! I’VE WANTED THIS SO FOR MUCH. HE DESERVES TO HAVE A FAMILY AND GET MOTHERED AGAIN.

Anyways if you haven’t read their fics please do. Tossawary if you ever read this post just know your hard work is appreciated and very much loved.

*Also not to say I don’t appreciate other svsss/moshang authors, because I DO. The fandom is full of amazing talented people, and I delight in all their creations.

**I have very strong VERY SPECIFIC FEELINGS about LBH having close platonic relationships. That boy needs friends and family, he’s suffered enough in canon!

Finally did the second to last KNY oc, the youngest Kyoshi Kawa!

This might be a little half ass compared to the last few times since I took some medicine for my allergies earlier & I'm trying to not be so drowsy

But, now I only have to draw Astaroth & then I'll finally be done with all of this! Aside from the September PFP drawings, you don't seem to understand just how happy I am to be free of this

BTW, thanks for voting on the poll! The name Astaroth is staying!

Now, then. Meet Kawa! She is the youngest of the Kyoshi family who might be just a tiny bit too mature for her age. She's very naive with demons & doesn't think all of them are bad. The only ones she thinks are bad are Muzan & Douma. As she should, honestly

She always plays in the woods near the Venom estate, so one time when she went there, she ran into Akaza & was instantly fascinated by him. He didn't see her as a threat cuz 1, she's a girl, 2, she's 13, & 3, he probably just needs someone to talk to

She immediately liked him & thought he was a nice guy, & tries not to let her mother & sister find out about it for obvious reasons. She even calls him Mr. Akaza, too ^^

Yuzuki, once she realizes it, understood Kawa's naivity with demons so she wasn't exactly mad, she was just worried for her sister's safety. She didn't wanna lose her like their dad, it's understandable. But, once they convince her enough, she isn't really supporting of it, she just kinda tolerates it & trusts him to save Kawa when she can't

After the final battle with Muzan, she tries to cope with Akaza's death & is sad about him being gone, but is also happy her sister survived & he's at peace. When she saw a vision of him around the corner, that's when she really felt at peace

When the Kyoshis bond with the Uzuis more, Kawa is loved & babied alot by Tengen's wives which is something that gets her embarrassed alot. The two families bond so much to the point where it feels like they're just one big family

There's a few other things that I'm not gonna mention just yet, especially with something after the final fight, since that's gonna be saved for a Taisho secret

I took a deep breathe before getting off the school bus. I was greeted with a refreshing wave of cooling air as I start stepping towards the school campus that’s getting closer and bigger as I walk towards it. I got a few stares here and there as I quietly walk, your just new y/n stop overthinking shit. I was getting a bit nervous since the school is now In front of my face. Well here goes nothing.. I took a step than another and soon I’m exactly at the entrance of the school. I looked around to see if there was a reception near it but it seems like it doesn’t. I guess you just have to find it. I sighed knowing I still haven’t gotten use to the campus and I already have to find my way around.

I turned to the left as I start walking down the corridor hoping this path leads towards the reception. I can hear whispers and I can feel stares from the students as I continue my journey down to the far end. Dang have you guys never seen someone new before..? Im too into my thoughts when I accidentally bump into someone’s boarded back, causing me to stumble back and let out a little “ouch”. As I was rubbing my forehead to gain a bit of realization on what just happens, a deep smoothing voice that caught my attention. “Hey are you alright?” oh my god..y/n who the fuck did you bump into..

I looked up and saw a guy with blonde messy hair, pale skin and of course, our school uniform but without his blazer.

“Oh I’m so sorry I didn’t mean that to happen.” I was fucking stuttering as I apologized to such a beautiful human being. I was about to leave but I was cut off by his voice again.

“no is alright! Are you looking for something?” Gosh his voice.. it’s like music to my ears- anyway back to his questions.

“yeah uh I’m looking for the reception” this is so embarrassing. Lord please kill me on the spot.

“oh alright follow me!” I was shocked that he offer to take me to the reception, like why would you want go take someone to the reception after they bumped into you… he doesn’t seem like the person to do so anyways.I was walking behind him as I took a look at my surroundings, trying to ignoring the stares that I’m receiving. After a while we arrive at the reception.

“Hi there! How may I help you today?” The receptionist is really cheerful despite the fact is literally 8 in the morning.

“Hi I’m new and I was wondering if I can have my time table.”

“oh of course! What’s your name sweetheart?”

“y/n y/l/n please.”

“alright just give me a few minutes I’ll grab the stuff you would need.” I thanked her as I standing there with the guy that took me here. It’s a bit awkward because non of us were talking. But suddenly he started to speak.

“btw I’m Nishimura Riki. You can call me Niki. I’m a senior.” I turned my head towards him flashing him a soft smile.

“hi I’m y/n y/l/n. I’m a junior.”

“sooo..I guess your new here. Hope the stares and whispers don’t intimidate you. It would usually dies down after tomorrow.”

“i Hope so too..” i started playing with my fingers since I’m getting a bit uncomfortable and impatient. I guess he felt the tension between us so he started to speak again.

“if you need anything I’ll be at room 5A. And also I’m your first friend here. Hope you don’t mind.” He flashed me a smile before extending his hand out for me to shake.

“probably gonna stick with you for the rest of the year but thank you for taking me here.” He giggled at my statement as I shake his soft pale hands that’s larger than mines.

“Well I don’t mind to be honest is nice to hang around someone new sometimes. Also I got to get going cuz I need to get ready for class but meet me here on the first bell. I’ll take you around and introduce you to my friends. See you around lovely.” He said as I gave him a nod before walking away with a smile on his face. My heart skipped a bit from the given nickname… lovely. Ugh no way your already having a crush on a guy you just met.

After a few seconds, the receptionist came back with my timetable as well as a planner. I thanked her as I found my way around the campus to my first period as quickly as possible before the bell rings.

I may look calm on the outside, but I was repeating our interactions In my mind for the rest of the day. Getting more butterflies each time I think about it.
