how i see "The helper" episode . (i have diagnosed adhd and autism fyi: everyone is different so take what i say with that context <3 not all autistic people are like me so please understand this is more based on my experience personally)

Really weird post i know but hear me out. When i watch "The helper " i immediatly think about having meltdowns as a little kid or just any age in general wether online or irl.

^ Like if you`re looking at it like i am, you can understand why id say it feels like hes having a meltdown / breakdown because something that makes sense to him most of the time, now makes no sense at all to him / freaks him out |

| (Being unable to help people because they do not need his help which he is not used to , thus making him react way worse then most people would sense it is something very special to him Like how people will have specific special intrests or hyperfixations etc) personally i freak out and get meltdowns when my pc is broken or needs fixed and i cannot draw whatsoever for long peroids of time. )

and how you / i would immediatly feel ashamed , nervous and guilty afterwards , or just generally exhausted or depending on the person feel like a burden on the people around you.

(also for this next part yes i know this is implied to be sylvia`s idea but it still makes me wanna tear up because it hits home way too hard) and other people will immediatly treat you as a "trouble maker" that has to be dealt with , punished or pushed aside even tho its something you cant help and sometimes cant even understand .

the dialogue espeically is a gut punch for me.

" i get it " he`s hurt , and ashamed of himself. and its probably a stretch but i feel like this has happened before because of how he says " i get it . " then he tries to turn it into a positive as per usual to his character writing , thats how much he loves helping people.

its his special intrest / hyperfixation <3333 so of course he can try to turn it into something fun . and the rest of the episode goes on as he Does what they asked him to. and they immediately reward him for throwing himself out of their way .

(this genuinely makes me so mad i`m sorry fuck those towns people man you could`ve just talked to him instead GRAHHHH) and how he gets super happy after FINALLY pleasing them.

Astro observation . . . TWO!!

Whenever I see someone has a prominent Scorpio or Capricorn placement I always notice and see how sweet and overlay considerate they are. These people I’ve noticed are very helpful and there for people, sometimes they don’t think about themselves that much and contain themselves too much. They also are like nonchalantly funny? It’s not hard for them to make me laugh I’ve noticed.

saw some posts on this website discussing what sort of videogames the dunmeshi characters would play and i think everyone is wrong. everyone is wrong except for me so im going to spell out exactly who plays what. putting it under a read more because im going on a damn tangent.

Laios: He's not a gamer he does not play games on purpose he will only ever play video games when his friends ask him to join them in their multiplayer things. One day tho Falin told him about Monster Hunter and now thats the only thing he plays aside from Spore and he has sunk countless hours into that damn game. Also he probably has played Some pokemon but he doesnt like PLAYING it he just likes it in concept he knows the name of all the pokemon

marcille: people keep saying she would be a cosy gamer playing animal crossing and stardew and other cute games ^-^ its so lalalaaaa NO!!!!!!! no she does not. Marcille plays games that stress her out on purpose marcille plays overwhelming micromanagey games like lobotomy corporation and rimworld and etc. She also likes games with deep lore and mysteries to discover. The only thing that doesn't fit in this category that she plays is Minecraft shes always in there CREATIVE MODE building virtual dungeons and other crazy shit. Also she plays on her work laptop with trackpad ok

Chilchuck: This one is for me. This one im just basing off my own dad ok. Chilchuck used to be a hardcore gamer in his youth but specifically he was playing stuff like world of warcraft and old school runescape he had really big setups so he could run several instances of the game at once on all his alt accounts so he could beat a boss by himself and he was really good at it. But then he had kids and didnt have time for this sort of thing so he stopped playing videogames aside from occasionally helping his daughters beat a super hard mario level. Later in life he probably discovered some shitty little low-commitment phone game like pokemon go or pikmin bloom or some daily sudoku puzzle thing and he plays it every day but its not that big a deal. He has been pressured by his friends and daughters to make a roblox account but he hasnt played it at all.

Senshi: THIS guy is the one that plays animal crossing. He logs in when he can but hes not on that every day grind. Also he doesnt play the newest one he doesnt play horizons he plays one of the DS ones. Wild world probably. He either doesn't like or doesn't know about the nintendo switch. Whenever one of his villagers say that they want to leave he'll nod solemnly and say smth like "Well... I suppose it'd be selfish to ask ye to stay, friend... Just promise me you'll stay safe and never forget me... Go and explore the world. Wish ye the best." Plus his island would be covered in weeds. He also has some mobile games he enjoys angry birds and candy crush and crosswords (gotta keep the brain in shape!) but other than that he doesn't videogame much because he prefers board games and tabletop stuff he isnt too jazzed about all this modern technology plus a console or a laptop and all that gaming equipment is a lot to lug around and hes a nomad he would NOT have that shit

Falin: Now FALIN is the cosy gamer. kind of. Falin plays animal crossing new horizons sometimes and has fun making a bad island on purpose. Very mildly "bad" tho the worst she'll do is use the drawing feature to hide a giant penis on the beach or whatever. Or she'll give her villagers silly outfits. She also plays minecraft (either skyblock or she makes a new world and explores and builds a couple houses and then forgets about it and makes another new world) and roblox (likes 'trolling' strangers by dressing up funny and acting kind of strange in roleplay servers but she's never actually mean or anything.) But the big thing she likes is story-driven indie rpgmaker games. She's the person who will say shit like "Yeah I played Blums Booglies the quest for Big Dinners and it was so good I cried for 9 hours" completely unironically.

kabru: social gamer like laios but the games he plays on purpose are the sims (he likes to cause them problems) and online multiplayer games (he likes to peoplewatch). I can also see him doing absurd and tortrous challenge runs of games like No items no pokecenter one type hardcore nuzlockes. im correct

izutsumi: ACTUALLY trolls people on roblox. And she plays needlessly gory flash games. Maybe she calls people dumbfucks over valorant voice chat sometimes

latest is dark angel who ive wanted for a long time but i only bother buying on ebay and there were fakes floating around for a while. WxS miku is hell on earth bc her parts cannot stay on properly, she looses half her hair when too much wind blows (exaderation but it did fall of several times while i was arranging the figures, her tail too)

thats why i love dark angel shes surprisingly sturdy, more then any other figure i gave. you could throw her off a building and that hair would stay in. bless

my old shelf was much wider so all my AMP figures could comfortably fit next to eachother but now they look kinda awkward, i really underestimated their size

i gave fake sakura to a friend bc i already had one real sakura lol. the one on the top right has very unstable hair so ive stashed her hair away, the snow miku is oddly big and heavy, the easter ones head is made from a weirdly soft plastic so her head is squishy 😭 and infinity is nothing special. i love my fakeus

the base is haunted lmao

im procrastinating a könig painting so my brain comes up with random ideas. rudy's part is mandatory to read im afraid, bcause it’s the preface. no pairing in this one, just silly headcanons of how each of them would react to actual ghosts.

rudy has a sixth sense—mans legit scared of ghosts lmfao—and hated the 141 base. would complain and groan if alejandro says he has to go there. one time they were chilling cleaning out guns and an old man walks past them and the hair at the back of rudy's neck just shoots up.

"did anyone feel that?"

everyone just shrugs. asks him for clarification. he mentions seeing an old man passing by and then it clicks for everyone else in the room that it wasnt their ptsd or personal things they were going through, it was legitimately ghosts.

soap now realises that the disappearing people he sees in his peripherals aren’t just a figment of his imagination. after rudy’s discovery he would ask random people he was with if they could ‘see them too’ and most of the time the answer would be yes. if they don’t turn their heads to take a closer look, that is.

gaz would always ask anyone—privates, sergeants, lieutenants, captains—to accompany him if he has to go anywhere secluded, and they have to verbally agree. one time he asked a non-verbal sergeant and thought they really didn’t like gaz because of the ignored questions and the general unhelpfulness. the realisation only comes much later, when he went to shake their hand, and it just…went through. poor boy lost sleep the next three nights.

price has known for a while about the presence of ghosts but ignores them. he recognises some of them from his folders, from the photos in family homes that he has to visit over the years, from the memories he had of the battlefield. he won’t go to the third floor bathroom though. would rather piss and shit himself in the courtyard rather than go in there again. nope.

laswell knows from price. she had asked him who was the new young private that didn’t salute as they both walk past.

“just keep walking, kate.”

she immediately understood.

ghost now realises the young private that he thought resembles tommy could actually possibly be tommy and would sometimes speak aloud when he’s alone and can feel his presence. the vision doesn't follow him outside the base and he doesn’t know if he’s relieved or distraught over the fact.

graves scoffed at the audacity of these grownass men trying to scare him with childish pranks, until one particular night his footlocker opened itself and boy did he immediately remember his sunday mass prayers.

alejandro cannot see them, but knows they are there because he could feel the static in the air if they appear close to him. he is happy he can’t see because of the stories rudy have told him. about people in their own base with disfigured faces and bodies.

farah knows all the protection prayers so they don’t bother her. honestly they’re tame compared to the djinn’s she encountered back home. everyone feels so much safer near farah because they dont see anything for once.

alex calls farah lmao. mans can’t see them just like alejandro but every hair on his body stands up and if he gets agitated enough his stump would start hurting because he’s so tense and thats where he would call for farah. she taught him some prayers to ward them off but since he’s not of the same faith it sadly doesn’t work. good try tho.

valeria yells at them. when she was held captive she would see people in her container even though it hasn’t been opened in a while. she cusses them out and she would like to think it works because she never sees them again.

poor könig followed one into a corner when he was new at the base. he asked for directions and this private graciously led the way instead of just pointing where to go. it wasn’t until soap grabs him harshly by the upper arm and lead him to the correct way that the scot told him about the hauntings. he now also asks for verbal confirmation before following anyone anywhere. he has never felt his hand sweat that much before.

the riddle ship trifecta...

i enjoy them bc i think riddle really needs a calm presence in his life that makes him feel like he can act in ways he never had the freedom to do before, without feeling judged or made fun of. whether that is acting childish and silly or just expressing emotion freely. he's obviously really sensitive to being teased so he needs someone who is ok with that and just finds joy in his joy.

i relate to this a lot bc i myself am a very sensitive person, and get emotional really easy but im also very cynical and dry, so i think ppl see that contrast and find it funny. which is fine, but i get hurt or annoyed really easily by teasing bc i think what i really want is for someone to see how easily i get emotional (like crying at almost every movie i watch) and rather than seeing it as smth weird and funny, they recognize my empathy as something good. i want someone to see the value and worth in my emotions, no matter how trivial they seem.

and i think riddle needs that too. deuce isnt super smart but i think he's really earnest and riddle would appreciate that about him. he shows a lot of self awareness in recognizing how his past actions hurt his mom, and realizing he needs to be proactive if he wants to be a better person. very few ppl are willing to admit when they are the problem. he's just a very soft guy, but like, passionately soft. he wants so bad to be good. and i think he would want so badly for riddle to be happy, it would become really important to him just like his mom's happiness.

malleus is super honest about his intentions, which i think riddle needs bc his lack of social skills leave him anxious. he probably would get too frustrated having to play games and guess feelings. malleus just has a super calming presence and riddle needs that so bad. i think they are both pretty awkward bc of their upbringing so maybe they could find comfort in each other, knowing there's no judgement.

azul is none of these things lol 😂 i do NOT think these 2 would be a perfect healthy couple but i enjoy their dynamic. riddle is sensitive ofc but hes also super smart which is why i like the thought of them together. the two top students, not really in a competitive way, more like they recognize each other's weaknesses but also highly respect each other. to the point that they wouldnt ever make a move against the other. i could see them having a more loving relationship but in my mind they are more like a power couple lmao. like two powerhouses joining forces. i do think seeing riddle trying to overcome his own trauma and be a nicer person could inspire azul to do smth similar, realizing that if he likes and respects riddle, there must be some value in kindness without reward.

none of these would be canon in the AT au unfortunately, at least not in my mind (you can do whatever you like with it tho, it also doesnt mean i wont still talk/draw about it). there would definitely still be interactions among them with plenty of room for interpretation. obviously the most between deuce and riddle bc they are both HL.

i could see an episode where riddle recruits deuce to help him repair one of the elephant guardians (since deuce is good at repairing stuff) and they become closer. bc deuce used to get up to a lot of trouble he also has a lot knowledge of some of the rougher parts of the kingdom (im referring to deuces former crew as the spoiled fruit gang) and probably accompanies riddle when he needs to go there. riddle might sometimes go to deuce for advice on his relationship w his mother, since deuce is close w his mom. it would be cute if deuces mom came to really adore riddle and gave him a lot of the experiences he didnt get w his own mother.

Ok so I must've encountered the ninja turtles SOMETIME during my childhood. It's one of those things I kinda knew about but didnt care to look into. And I learned recently that my mom didn't like TMNT so I'm guessing she sabotaged my exposure to them growing up /lh. The clearest memory of TMNT that I have was when my honors humanities high school teacher was trying to get us to remember the Renaissance artists.

Hmm. Would you laugh if I told you I sat in the break room of my old retail job, was scrolling on jobsites to try and get me out of that place, came across a job opening at Nickelodeon for character designer for their new show "rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles", thought about how I would redesign the ninja turtles despite having no knowledge of the franchiae, and ultimately decided not to apply bc I lacked faith in myself? (I also lacked the skill but KSJFSJAK)

Ok but for actual exposure to the show, I was sooo late. I think the first I saw of rise was a clip of the S2 finale fight on twitter. I barely remember tho bc that didn't get me to watch the show (surprisingly)

she’s cute, you’re cute, it’s a match made in heaven. oddly enough, maria doesn’t get scared easily by horror games. she’s been around for like a hundred years so she’s probably seen some shit. you’d expect her to get scared based solely off of how she looks but girl is not fazed by almost anything. the only thing that genuinely scares her is the idea of losing you. she can’t help but giggle at you getting scared when you play games like this together. maria will giggle and hold you tight so you don’t get scared. well, at least not too scared because it wouldn’t be fun if you don’t get a little spooked.

mf will literally TRY to scare you shitless just for fun. she’ll disappear while you’re playing then jump out with a scary mask on and a scream. she’s an absolute dork and she knows that it makes her lean towards the more cute side, but she can still definitely get a few good scares out of you. as much as you love that criminal angel, she’s scared you to death sometimes. if she scared you too much she’ll show up a little later at your door with puppy eyes and plushie, your favorite dessert in her hands.

SCARLE YONAGUNI ->

she will get just as scared as you, so it would likely end with you holding each other and just like,, screaming. even at the smallest noise you both startle and scream. it’s cute but to anyone else who might be in the same house, it will absolutely suck. i mean, hearing two lovebirds screaming their heads off for the entirety of a horror game that might be hours long surely isn’t the most fun of experiences but to each his own i suppose.

(sorry i know like nothing about him so this is probably very ooc) he will teasingly treat you like an idiot. he’ll talk you through the things you need to do as if you’re a toddler, remarking that if you’re gonna get so scared like a baby he might as well talk to you like one too. he loves you and you know that, but he can be such a little shit sometimes when it comes to things like this. sometimes he’ll be nice about it tho, occasionally, once in a blue moon.

REN ZOTTO ->

bitch. absolute motherfucker. he teases you to hell and back over how easily you’re scared. hold him by the horns and scold him for it and he’ll apologize so cutely to you it’s almost like he didn’t tease you at all. if you genuinely dislike it then he’ll do his best to be supportive of you! he doesn’t mind just holding you while you try to get through the game to the best of your ability. he’ll hold you on his lap while you nervously make your way through it and occasionally jump and make surprised noises when there’s a jumpscare. he thinks it’s SO adorable too.

KYO KANEKO ->

he’ll make fun of the game to make both you and him less scared. you can’t exactly be scared when you’re laughing your ass off over some stupid or weird comment he made about a character or mechanic. if you get scared easily, he will be throwing jokes out left and right in an attempt to keep you laughing and keep you from getting too scared. he doesn’t like seeing you scared, so naturally his next best bet is to make you laugh.

deku has always looked up to you

you were always strong and willing to fight for those you love and do it with an amazing quirk

you were born this very naturally talented hero and he just wasnt

you were always willing to help him from bakugou and his other bullies by standing up to them

you were only a few years older and were more than willing to put little bakugou in his place

making bakugou a little scared of you lol

but when you got into UA, you were so focused on school that deku had to deal with the bullying problem himself

you taught him that he could be strong too and it seriously made deku much more confident for the future!

when deku got his quirk, you were baffled to say the least

you always knew him as a late bloomer... but not this late!

but you wanted more than anything to help him train when you got the chance after working for exams and training yourself

and when he ended up getting into UA, you were the happiest sibling in the world

you always believed in him more than anyone, telling him that he could be a hero quirk or not

even your mom didnt believe in him as much as you did

as you each went to do your own classes and separate training (always training together after school ofc), he would nonstop brag about you

like every chance he got in class to talk about you, he would

he would tell everyone how heroic you were and what you were doing to be the best hero ever

everyone ended up knowing about you and actually wanting to meet you

luckily, you knew aizawa very well and he thought you were a great student, so he wanted to have you as a guest to train the new UA students on how to get prepped for their future at UA

you came in and were giving a small presentation that you were working on in your class and there was a certain someone whose eyes were glued to you and more than likely shaped like hearts

denki kaminari couldnt take his eyes off of you

he nudged bakugou and said, "no one told me that midoriya's sibling was that good looking"

bakugou just gave him a weird look and rolled his eyes

bakugou obviously wasnt a big fan of you because of his run ins with you in the past, so he didnt care a bit about what denki thought of you

but denki didnt care what bakugou thought, his eyes were not going to leave you

and when you were halfway through your presentation and SMILED AT HIM??!?!??!?!!

mans became a flustered mess

so when you actually got to train with them and got to the blushing denki, he was almost braindead talking to you

you just giggled though and wrapped your arms around him to show him how to hone his power, and im sorry to say this y/n, but you killed the boy

in the future though, you did visit a lot, not only in classes, but when the dorm system started, you would visit deku's dorm a lot

thus getting you to know a lot of his classmates

you of course still made fun of bakugou

but then you started randomly laughing at denki's jokes

and then you got to know the silly lightning boy

he thought you were strong, good looking, protective, everything that he needed in a partner and really, he just fell head over heels for you

and he was unapologetic about it :)
