Seojin had no true intention of weaving a story into the tracks chosen for his performance. The progression of the songs and the emotions and lyrical workings they contained was entirely unintentional. Something innate or subconscious congruent to his current dilemma involving matters of the heart. It told every bit of a roller coaster of emotions experienced by an individual perhaps too foolish to see the true answers right in front of him.

Coach Jeong fluttered over the titles with a quirk of a brow in the trainee’s direction. Whether from genuine concern or sheer curiosity, one could not be overly certain. ( He initially expected something with a bit more of a rock tone but Seojin rarely could be described as predictable. ) Seojin had been endlessly pleased with himself for getting his selection and run-throughs of the performance approved, even if it meant repeatedly singing songs rife with a sense of sorrow. More aptly — a broken heart.

Perhaps it was his own dramatic tendencies speaking, exaggerating the situation at hand into something it was not. Regardless, he would be pouring his heart and soul into the songs, no matter if his circumstances improved or not. Acting the part and properly conveying the lyrics was a rather important skill for any singer to have, after all. Without it, he would be reduced to a technically nice voice with none of the impact.

He stepped onto the stage, a large gulp of water poured down his throat before he introduced himself. Clearly, it was not his first time addressing a crowd in this manner.

“Hello, my name is Park Seojin. I’m glad to see everyone who decided to come out here today. Without even meaning to... my setlist kinda has a theme. When you desperately long for someone and want them to come back into your life and stay there. I think this will hit anyone who has been feeling this way, and I hope my voice can provide you with comfort.” He was getting ahead of himself.

“The entire set will be from singers that I look up to and respect a lot. Hopefully, I’ll do them justice.” He shot the audience a smile before standing by the stool positioned in front of the microphone, his left hand wrapping around the stem.

A familiar drum beat and guitar rhythm filled the room and a few of the audience members let out a knowing ‘oo’ when they recognized the famous K.Will song. Unexpectedly, his expression changed throughout his singing, matching the feeling of the music and lyrics. Even the occasional gesture with his hand  He became fully immersed, projecting every nuance as if it were he who had written them.

A stop between the first two songs and the next three did little to set him back into reality. His eyes remained downcast, collecting the words that tumbled at his feet. He waited until the tepid clapping stopped to proceed with his commentary.

“For the rest of the tracks— “ He cleared his throat and reached for the water bottle once more. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea to pick these. Everything just makes me think of you... “I will be singing OSTs from some dramas. I’m sure you all will know them well. Especially the last one. Feel free to sing along quietly if you know the words.” His eyes flicked upward, then scanned over the audience, shooting them another nod and smile — though far more subdued.

He sat this time, backing away from the microphone stand as the tender piano music began and he would sing out a few starting runs alongside it. Due to the fairly long introduction, Seojin took it upon himself to speak briefly. “Sunbaenims, I respect you.” It earned a handful of laughs and a moment of levity in between the sorrowful theme.

For a moment, he assumed he could set his heavy heart to the wayside but the relatable lyrics from Woohee’s emotional and touching I Will Go To You Like The First Snow proved enough to reel him back in. His throat tightened on the edge of the words, one or two of which he was forced to skip in a bid to compose himself. Park Seojin would be damned if he got choked up in public, in front of a crowd of strangers, no less.

I started to become greedy I wanted to live with you, grow old with you Hold your wrinkled hands And say how warm my life was

The final line of the final song, perhaps, acted as a sort of reassurance to himself. He did not plan it, only viewing Back in Time to be a gentle and less vocally demanding tie up. “I will be okay.” Not a question, nor an uncertain statement. An affirmation that would come to pass.

I don't think I really have any really solid headcanons and also canon keeps validating me left and right (FLUFFY DOMESTIC DIAFAM IS REAL). mostly just kind of...impressions and general thoughts, if that makes sense! lately though I've been kind of obsessed with thinking about Lilia's hair, and specifically when/why he ended up cutting it. (l-look, we're bouncing around the timeline and I gotta make decisions about these things when I draw, it's relevant) (I mean I would probably be weirdly fixated on this anyway, but.)

I think I've settled on the idea that he kept it long until he went to NRC, partly because 1) I like drawing The Ponytail, and 2) I think he thought of NRC as a chance to reinvent himself a bit! he gets to go and be a wacky carefree teenager for a few years and have fun! (officially he's there to keep an eye on Son #1, but how much trouble could he get into, really.) so he gave himself a Cool Teen Haircut to go with his fresh new Cool Teen Persona!

also maybe he had some reflection on his hair's troubled past with three kids...

...and had to weigh his vanity versus the fact that he was going off to be around hundreds of kids on a daily basis, and. the choice suddenly seemed obvious.

Rui, I mean, look at that one scene from the connect live, look at the scene from his rise as one card, he's so multitalented

They regress together sometimes; things are chill when they're both the same animal, if Rui's a dog and Tsukasa's a cat Kasa's getting screwed with, and when the reverse is true Tsukasa tries the same but he ends up just sounding like a chihuahua trying his best

Now that Scott, Eloise and Ori are in the blacklist of not reviving. The entire server (for now atleast) will not waste ANY coins on them and fWhip for now is fine by him... But... Scott is on that list he can't just NOT revive him. If Scott needs him. He is going to help even if he needs to beg the fates for more coins. Even if he needs to give his body away for them more times that he would like. He isn't letting Scott go first. He can't... He just can't - Ghostie anon

Fwhip makes an offhand claim that Scott’s always there in every server he’s in. Not having him there would feel odd! But he’s not fooling anyone, not even himself.

He can’t stand the thought of not being able to go across and visit Scott’s home, to bother him while he’s cooking or for the man to show up unannounced while he tends to the ravager ranch. Scott’s too important to him, and he will break the rules that the Fates set if it means keeping him around.

The Fates are not pleased with their vessel, but they are not the types of beings who would enact punishment on mortals. They realize that human emotion and attachments are more complex than those of themselves. They’ll let him get away with it this time, if only it means keeping him happy. Fwhip’s growing on them.

I don't know why, but I personally find Black being so struck with lust here so frick'n adorable. What makes it even more adorable is that he is...ahem, topless (well, this skit was based off of one of the comics that took place at the beach, duh). I can't help myself, but gawd look at his belly (makes me want to magically stick my hand through the screen and gently prod his belly). Overall, this is probably one of my favorite still screenshots of any of the Spy vs. Spy skits from the 90s.

Hey Rini! Take your time! As for all male leads looking the same I also think it’s terrible. There’s actually a good manwha called Another Typical Fantasy Romance, where the male lead has a beard, looks really rough, and has a lot of scars. He’s very handsome still, but is very different appearance wise from other ml’s. Lol. Would recommend.

So far this is what I got for my own designs XD !! I like the idea of a rough face but now Im thinking cause of this I should add a beard or something more to my own ruggish dude!! However I gave my prince so far a baby face c: not sure yet if I wanna go with Blonde or Black hair for the prince cause lets be honest thats the main two colors for a typical Male Lead besides like....silver. Blacks the most common color I see though.

I love hugging my friends and family!! I adore showing physical affection! I've hugged coworkers and held hands with members at work to comfort them when theyre upset (if they initiated. Im not that dense to be touching strangers without consent lol. Ill ask people if i dont know them well enough to know what theyre ok with).

All of this to say: I don't feel good and I want hugs, so thats my answer lol. (Though believable lore/timeline connecting the games would be fantastic haha))

The first image is of the Signless, referred to as Kanaan, and Beforus Karkat, referred to as Kardin, sitting together. Kanaan is nervously holding close a little grub Kankri, while Kardin is reassuring him. Kanaan says, "I just don't know..." Which Kardin responds with, "You'll be alright, Kan. I'll be here for you." There's two notes around the doodle from the artist, the first states, "Also wanna practice with pen again..." The second is under an arrow pointing at Kanaan and Kardin, which states, "Hatch mates, raised together. Closest human proximation is siblings."

The second image is Kanaan holding grub Kankri again, this time little Kankri wrapped up in a blanket, like one might swaddle a human baby. Kanaan is looking off panel at something that’s caught his attention.

The third image is of grub Kankri, all curled up. He appears uncomfortable, trembling slightly. A note next to him says, “If you’re cold, he’s cold. Sweater.” Off panel, Kardin says, “Give him a blankie. Or something. Warmth.” Kanaan says after, “Small baby…”

The fourth image is technically two panels. The first “panel” shows Kanaan looking down at his hands, nervous expression on his face. Someone behind him has their hands gently on his shoulders, and is saying, “Be careful with him…” The sentence continues into the next panel, which shows what Kanaan was looking at, holding a very small grub Karkat in one of his hands. The other person continues, “He’s a lot smaller than Kankri was…”

The fifth image shows Kankri at a later time, about 6 years old, no longer a grub and wearing a big ol’ sweater, looking off panel at Kanaan, who’s nervously asking Kankri, “Kankri, baby, have you seen your little brother?” There appears to be something in the poofy collar portion of his sweater.

The sixth image continues from the fifth. Kankri lowers his collar, showing little grub Karkat, curled up and napping away peacefully. Off panel still, Kanaan exclaims, “Oh thank goodness…” Kankri nervously explains, “He was cold…” Kanaan responds, “Ah - thank you for watching him, baby.”
